Man City isn't a bad team, they are still a strong team. I'm sure Man City still has a chance to reach semi-final or even final round. However, Guardiola must improve the performance of the players and their mentality. But to think about the next round, Man City must secure full points in the latest 2 matches in this league phase. Man City will play against PSG and Club Brugge, this won't be easy matches. Especially playing against PSG, they are also strong team and expect to get full points as well. But I am still confident with Man City as long as they will play with their main lineup.

First of all, they need to win the remaining matches, or if not win, at least get enough points to get to the playoffs. City won the last matches, but the opponents were weak, who knows how they will play against stronger ones, the match with PSG will be of great importance, because PSG also needs only a win in this match. In fact, both of these teams can get to the semi-finals, but for now their position is unenviable.

Both of clubs really need three points to keep exist in UCL. They're so close going out from the safe zone, and potentially unable to go to the play-off round.

City is gonna play away game, yet this is a difficult game for them. We know how the pressure may be so big for PSG to qualify for the play-off, but they have to beat City. Neither of them in big advantage.

They have to go all our, or leave before reach the play-off.
Although Manchester City is still a strong opponent, but this season their performance is not good and also inconsistent and PSG must be able to take advantage of this and must be able to win this match because they will play at home at the Parc des Princes.

However, Manchester City does not seem to let that happen and of course this will be a very interesting match because this is their decisive match and the winner will have the opportunity to advance to the play-off round, and for Manchester City against Club Brugge I will side with Manchester City and they will definitely be able to win this match. However, to fight PSG with Manchester City's current performance I think the result will be a draw because both will certainly play very carefully and also strengthen their defense.

Yesterday in the City of Jeddah in the Middle East country of Saudi Arabia, the second El Classico of the season was played with Barcelona thrashing Real Madrid 5:2 in that game. After that game, I became worried for Real Madrid who really needs to win their remaining two fixtures in the UEFA Champions League group stage  in other to to be sure of a place in the knockout stage. Considering the performance of Real Madrid yesterday, do you think they'll be able to win their remaining games starting with the visit to Salsburg? Let me read your thoughts
Madrid's remaining two matches in UCL should not be a problem to get an additional 6 points. There is no other choice for Madrid but to win. Their defeat to Barca with such a score was indeed surprising. Even with their best forwards, Madrid still struggled to score more goals than Barcelona.
against Salzburg and Brest, there is no choice to lose. Madrid will still be favored in their last two matches in the qualifying round. They must be able to qualify to maintain their hopes of advancing to the UCL knockout round.

No one is underestimating City, and they need to fight for their survival in UCL for us to confirm that they are worth to qualify for the round of 16. Same applies to EPL, despite being the defending champions does not mean that if they don't improve their performance, they will be able to finish on top four. City have only won two weak teams and no one knows if they have improved or not.
2021, Manchester City reached the UEFA Champions League final, 2022, they were knocked out in the semi final, they won it competition in 2023 and were narrowly eliminated from the quarter finals last year. Considering the form in the competition in the last four years, I don't think any club in the competition would want to underestimate Pep Guardiola's City.
That said, they've not been at the top of their game this season which is why I personally think that it's acting very possible for them to be eliminated from the group stage of the UCL this season. With 8 points gathered in 6 UCL games this season, Manchester City will play their next match away at Paris Saint Germaine and a defeat in that match might end their hopes to reach the next round of the competition.
Certainly it will be crazy for any team to underestimate Guardiola and Manchester City in the champions league, we know how much they have struggled in their last ten games in all competitions but given their stats in the champions league in the last three seasons they are not to be written off so fast, I think they will atleast make it to playoffs and qualify for the next level if things don’t go in their favor against PSG thought I expect a win for City against PSG.

To prove and realize it they must first qualify in the Champions League group stage, after that we will see the team that will be their opponent later. for now I still doubt Pep Guardiola's team, not without reason they are in a poor performance transition. not to mention the players who are still injured, the frequent changes in player positions by Pep Guariola, plus several core players often become second-string players. who knows what happened in the Manchester City dressing room, or Pep wants something else by often rotating his players. for now we don't need to talk about how City will go to the next stage in this competition, I mean have a chance to reach the semifinals or even the final round. let's just see when Manchester City visits the Parc des Princes, the home of Paris Saint-Germains. after all there is no guarantee City will win the match, as well as PSG who are certainly determined to get full points at their own home. well, to make sure let's just wait when City plays the remaining two matches especially the match against PSG. after that, we have an idea of their next steps.

True, it is quite difficult to predict who will win in this match, each club both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have performed quite badly this season, even so, one of them must try to win this match, Pep Guardiola as a coach who brought Manchester City to glory until now the situation is slumping must try hard to get up, they still have a chance, it just has to work very hard this time.

I just hope you don't get disappointed in City at the end of the day, because I don't see how City will be able to make it to the semifinals or finals, when we haven't seen them in their best form. Personally, I think you are hyping them too much, because what I see is their old glory in them and not a fight of victory this season. Pep needs to do whatever magic he has to do fast, before it's too late.  Grin
For this season it seems that Manchester City fans just need to see the reality and also be grateful for what the team has achieved because when Manchester City fans expect too much from the team they like and always exaggerate the strength of their team, of course they have forgotten the strength of other teams such as Liverpool, Barcelona and also Real Madrid because those three teams will definitely improve more than Manchester City in the Champions League this season. Because the Champions League is a league full of competition and also the pressure of strength from each team that always brings out their best abilities every season, so a team that doesn't have development in their performance, of course it will be easier to be defeated by their opponents.

You may not be wrong to think that Manchester City has got a chance to get to the semi finals but they at same time will have to earn it because their chances actually looks slime currently as even if they win their next champions league game, they still need some other team to either draw or loose to strengthen their chances do been in such position is a tight one such that they don't have a grace around  a loss or a draw, it's either they win or they may not make it pass the current stage. No body doubts how good they have been but it felt like the set back they once had got s greater aprt of them and got then in the position they find themselves currently.
I will not talk too much about their chances of being in the semifinals, because the most important thing now is how they can qualify at least to the play-off round to win the 8 tickets available to be able to go to the round of 16. That is the main task that they must focus on first. After that they can design a strategy to be able to go further. There is time for them to prepare themselves before the 7th match of the Champions League this season is played. And now they can also show something positive at least that can lift their confidence back. Their victory in the last few matches is quite good capital.

I don't think anyone who knows about Manchester City's performance in the UEFA Champions League in recent years coupled with the fact that they're being me managed by one of the best football managers in the world at the moment would ever want to rate Manchester City as a "weak" team. Considering the importance of Manchester City's game at Paris Saint Germaine, I expect them to approach that game with the best they have since it'll be a make or mar encounter. Their hosts Paris Saint Germaine are also sitting in a dangerous position in the UEFA Champions League table and would also want to get all three points in that game so I expect a very difficult game for both teams.

Club Brugge may be an easy target for Manchester City, but the Paris Saint-Germain match will not be easy at all. Paris Saint-Germain is a team with the potential to beat them. They are the best team in the French league and their squad is full of young players. We all know that Manchester City has had bad results recently, but they are also on the rise. Getting six points in two matches will take them to the playoffs, but Paris Saint-Germain's goal is also the playoffs and they are in a worse position than Manchester City. They will definitely fight to get three points from Manchester City, and the match will be at their home field. An enjoyable match awaits us.

If Real Madrid eventually get to fight through the play offs, I strongly believe they with scale through and when they do it will be smooth sail going forward, ofourse we know how reputable Real Madrid are when it comes to competing in the champions league and their form at the knockout stages, they become stronger and play better with optimism in the champions league which is something to look out for this season too. They still remain my favorites so far in the competition.
Madrid must end the remaining 2 matches with a win to secure a place in the play-off round, it doesn't matter if they have to go through that round before heading to the R16 place. The journey will not always be smooth that's what they are experiencing right now but in the end if they manage to advance to that round I am also sure there Madrid will perform brilliantly and continue to advance to the next rounds until finally the final is their target, I don't doubt their mentality and experience in the UCL, that's what they have always shown so far.
Real Madrid football team will play against Celta de Vigo football team in the Jan 17 and that match will be very interesting because both team will try to win this match. Real Madrid football team is favorite for that match because that team has good track record because that team always won against Celta de Vigo football team and Could not win any match against Real Madrid. Real Madrid will players are in good form and they won last matches and their confidence level is very high, So they will easily win this match match. Celta de Vigo players should try to make match interesting because with their participation match will be one sided and Real Madrid will win the match easily by high margin.
The match Real Madrid will play against Celta Vigo on January 17 is probably not a UEFA Champions League match. Celta Vigo did not qualify for this year's UEFA Champions League, so the match will be played in another league. Real Madrid will go into this match as favourites, as they have a very good recent record against this team. Real Madrid managed to win well in a few matches before, so I thought that maybe this team has become stronger than before, but they are not strong yet.

Real Madrid played poorly against Barcelona again yesterday and they lost 5-2 goals, Real Madrid are a very strong team but they look like a very weak team against Barcelona at the moment. Maybe Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti should buy more players so that Real Madrid can become much stronger and perform better against stronger teams.

Yes there are certain players who are very important in every team settings but it doesn't necessarily mean that the team has to struggle whenever they are not available for selection which is why every football club has multiple players available at all times.

Manchester city used to be that team that has a double squad, I mean the first eleven and those other exceptional players who are on the bench yet they have so much influence to the extent that they are capable of influencing the outcome of a match, but i guess that is no more the case at Manchester city, which is why I still think it is time for the club to start anticipating getting new players because the team seems to be having a lot of ageing players in squad.
The squad depth can help against unexpected events so that if an injury occurs to a core player it does not affect the outcome of the game. Pep Guardiola does not have a good squad depth so it will be a bit difficult to rotate when his core players get injured and that is evident in how inconsistent their performances are this season. This is different from the previous seasons where the reserve squad they had was no less good than the core players so that even if the players were injured it did not affect the results of the match.

New players are indeed needed because De Bruyne and several other players are not in good form and maybe age factors also affect. So with the presence of several additional players will make Pep Guardiola have options in doing rotation and most importantly not affect the team's performance in the competition.

To many Manchester City has been seen as the favourite,  and it's very much understandable due to the perceived form in which Manchester City has got and their known experience in the Champions League so far, so for me I think it's much better to keep an open mind because Manchester city literally is just trying to recover so they are yet to get some forms of balance around their performances so here PSG has got some chances in this game too and shouldn't be undermined because they could pull up a surprise,  mind you they aren't weak either.

He needs to do it soon if he wants to secure a place in the Play-off zone, but the problem is that in the next game Man City will face PSG who are also in desperate need of a win. This match is very crucial for Man City, they must succeed in securing victory in the remaining two games to survive in the UCL.
Guardiola will compete tactically with Luis Enrique to compete for three points, almost the same philosophy applied by both coaches makes this match very tense, Man City is a little under pressure because they will play at PSG headquarters.

This will be a very crucial match for both teams, in my opinion it is not an exaggeration if this can be said to be a life and death match for Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain.
However, I also see that Manchester City has a better chance of winning the match. I will talk about it from another point of view, namely mentality. I see that the mentality of Manchester City is still better than Paris Saint Germain.
Well, but I also see it from another side, namely Paris Saint Germain will play at their home base, which they can use to put pressure on Manchester City from their supporters who are also known as the 12th player. This must also be taken into account.

A crucial match yes, but they have lost a couple of things over the last few games that they can't get back anytime soon.

I personally don't really consider about experienced players or not because basically PSG has failed more often in the Champions League so competing with Manchester City I think will still be difficult for PSG. Moreover, the situation is also still the same, both need points to be able to secure a finish in the top 24, with these factors, I personally will still be confident that Manchester City will have a better chance of winning compared to PSG. But indeed, if for example PSG loses against Manchester City, then it seems that PSG no longer has a chance to qualify for the play-off round, considering they only have two games left and PSG is currently still in 25th position with only 7 points.
That's right, Manchester City are more experienced and more reliable in the Champions League than PSG. Pep Guardiola squad seems to have started to rise again, by successfully achieving 3 consecutive wins in domestic competitions, although the opponents they faced were mediocre teams. The next two matches before facing PSG are also relatively easy to overcome, so they can restore the players confidence that had collapsed. However, PSG actually also have the potential to beat Manchester City, although their chances are relatively low. I think, acting as the host might not give much advantage to PSG, because basically they are under much greater pressure because they are outside the Play Off zone.
