When you mention three teams like Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham who could have won comfortably last weekend in their own domestic leagues, it means that they are not the only teams who can win but rather some of them who can win comfortably this weekend. But what surprised me a little was Manchester United's victory at Manchester City's home after the Manchester United team was behind by one goal in the first half and it was almost similar to what happened to Manchester United when the team played in the UEL when they faced Viktoria. Now the Premier League standings have really shown a very different nuance because even though Manchester United is still in 13th position, the team is not far behind the top six this season.

That's what makes the English Premier League interesting to watch, because no matter the difference between the two teams that meet in the match, the result cannot be predicted easily because the team that is considered ordinary can give a big surprise to their opponent who is considered a stronger team. I know so far they have not gotten to a top level on the table as their fellow teams from the ligue one, Lillie and brest are yet to face top team as PSG has and soon they may not survive the knockout but if they get pass this stage congrats to them as they have done well already.

Manchester City is now clueless about how to win, let alone talk about winning trophies. Their recent loss to city rivals Manchester United in the Premier League means Pep Guardiola will likely have to readjust his overall targets for this season. Manchester City bargaining power in every competition has now plummeted, and winning is the only way to rectify this mess. Look at premier league, between caraboa, the efl thingy basically, the fa cup, the league, there are so many games that they play, so on top of that adding 2 more games was of course a lot, but they already played 6, now just 8, so it is not that much more, if they could have only fa cup and league, and nothing else, that would work amazingly for us.

Look at Bayern Munich for example, only 34 games in the entire league season, and they are already out of cup too, so there aren't even that many games left for them. So this new UCL system isn't bad for a team like that, and leagues should start considering maybe not having this many games, England has way too many games in a season, obviously players get injured a lot more.

Teams like Real Madrid do get a lot of injured players because they play the entire season and they go to finals every year and their players are national stars so they play in the summer and keeps going on, without stop, that's the hardship of being a great team.

The poor performance is because Brest is focusing their performance to try in UCL and sacrifice their position in the domestic league. But this strategy is actually very worrying. Because when Brest is too focused on UCL without looking at the condition of the position in the domestic league standings, surely in the next round when Brest fails in UCL, later Brest will lose the best position in league 1. And to catch up on the points to finish in the top 5. And I am also sure that even though Brest is currently performing very consistently here, when in the next round Brest will definitely fail.

Brest is having a bad season in the domestic league but instead they show great capacity as a dark horse team in the champions league at the moment, their has shown an impressive performance so far despite the fact that they face many experienced opponents in the champions league, but they are able to maintain consistency by only having 1 defeat in 6 matches they have played this season.

In addition from Brest in my opinion,lille and aston villa also has shown a solid performance this season after successfully defeating the existing favourite teams, so indeed we also cannot get rid of them from the dark horse team status, while madrid and PSG, it seems that the last two matches will determine their  fate whether or not they qualify for the next round and this shows how bad they performance are this season.

Brest in my opinion have been the dark horse of this season's UEFA Champions League competition. They've been so outstanding that I don't even think anyone will fault them should they be eliminated in the first round of the knockout stages of the competition. Lille his also another team who's performance have been surprising but they're more of a traditional name in the the competition than Brest.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germaine's results in the UCL this season have been disappointing if I must be honest but the good news for Real Madrid fans is that the club have all it takes to win their last two games in the group stage and qualify for the knockout stages unlike the French champions who I in a very difficult situation to reach the knockout stages.

I also think they should do it. Bringing in new players will give a refreshment to the squad. Of course, Pep will have an important role in changing the game scheme of Man City so that it is not predicted by the opponent anymore. As well as the players they will bring in, they must have quality and be able to quickly adapt to the team. I am sure Pep also already has some names to suggest to the club to immediately approach.


They still have a chance for the Champions League. that is if they can make sure to qualify for the next round. Now they are in a bad situation, but they can still try to compete in the next round. Hopefully, they are lucky enough to qualify.
