Everyone is aware that powerhouses are Real Madrid and Manchester City. They have Mbappe and Haaland, the players; they have the money. Football isnt simply about signing big names. Look at Arsenal. Though their star power is different, they have youthful, driven athletes ready to establish themselves. One of their managers is adept in maximizing their potential. Like Leicester City did back in 2016, they could surprise all of us.

While I appreciate underdog stories, I also know winners. For a reason Real Madrid and Manchester City are the favorites. Never undervaluate, yet, the strength of the human soul. The lovely game is somewhat nasty since it surprises a lot of people.

Real Madrid won the Champions League last season despite not having a striker on their squad, they defeated the best teams that we considered were the favorites to win the trophy, so we still consider Real Madrid to be the favorite to win the next Champions League. However, I do not believe we need to wait for the season to begin to figure out the favorite team to win the Champions League, it is obvious that Madrid is the favorite team because they still have the available players from the previous season, even without Mbappe, Real Madrid will dominate the next Champions League because they have Endric, another striker with the potential to score a lot of goals.

Furthermore, I believe Guardiola has the players to win the Champions League, but if Real Madrid is not eliminated from the competition, Manchester City will have a difficult time winning. Playing against Real Madrid is very risky since no team will be satisfied with their victory until the referee blows the final whistle, because the team can score a goal at any second and at any time to win their game.

What Girona did last season was really quite good because they were able to stay at the top of the standings and get a ticket to the Champions League. This season, of course, fans are very happy to see their idol team playing in the Champions League and fans may not have high hopes because if we look at the overall strength of course other teams are far superior to Girona.
But of course they will make the best use of the opportunity because if they have a big target, of course they will focus well in every match.

Just as we used to hear the triumph of Barcelona and Real Madrid in club football, in the present time we hear the triumph of Real Madrid and Manchester City in club football. There was a time when Real Madrid's arch-rival Barcelona was very strong, but with the evolution of time, the club has now become much weaker, as a result of which they are unable to win any special trophy or even become champions. Real Madrid They are a very strong football club yet every season they buy different important and young emerging players in the team to increase the strength. The new format wasn't interesting some persons initially because we got used to the old format already but upon the the beginning of the league they will adjust and get used to it already. The only challenge will be that for teams who frequent champions league and were used to the other format will fi d it stressing as the champions league will me stretched much more than it has been before now and may exert some more pressure on the players.

Girona will have like one chance in their club history to play in Champions League. It's the first season ever in Champions League for Girona and nothing to be sure that they will be eligible to represent La Liga in Champions League again. Girona, even will have to play only in La Liga, still struggle to maintain their performances because in a new season, no more surprise from other clubs. They already have a last season, some summer months to analyze Girona's players, tactics, and will have more solutions play against Girona. With limited player resource, Girona will not have good adaptability to adjust their tactics against competitors.

Additionally there are more difficulties for Girona, because they will not only play in La Liga but also play in Champions League. It will put Girona under bigger pressure of exceeding their limits and when being overwhelmed, they will likely not gain good results.

Yes, the next Champions League will of course have different rules and of course the group phase system has been abolished, but yes, I like these new regulations and of course that way we will see the competition getting better between the teams and indeed in terms of goals, we really need to be careful and taken into account because if you lose in terms of goals it will certainly have fatal consequences.

Yes, indeed Brest in the Domestic League was very surprising because of its good performance and in the 2022-2023 season Brest finished in 14th place, but in the 2023-2024 season Brest performed extraordinary and surprised us all because it finished in 3rd place. Yes, of course, these two teams certainly have the potential to surprise all of us in the UCL next season and of course we'll see what happens in the next season. and I can't wait to watch Girona and Brest play in the UCL and show their best performance to the opponents they face.

UEFA Champion League second qualifying round leg 2 of 2 Fenerbahçe vs Lugano

I can't imagine with Fenerbahçe's fans atmosphere and give huge pressure for Lugano team behind not easily facing Fenerbahçe at their home match.

Real Madrid and Manchester City have key players and talented players that Arsenal, Bayern Munich, PSG, and Barcelona lack. To win the Champions League, these clubs must first eliminate Madrid and Manchester City. Guadiola is the best coach and has the necessary players to defeat other clubs. So, if Arsenal and Manchester City meet, you can bet that Manchester City will win since they have superior players than Arsenal. Last season, Real Madrid and Manchester City were the favorites to win the trophy. Real Madrid will continue to be one of strongest teams in Champions League next seasons but Manchester City will have to struggle to maintain their quality and competitiveness in Champions League.

They are newbies in Champions League and chance for them to succeed there is very small. In a first season they have to play in both domestic league and Champions League, risk of bad player resource management will impact their performances in both Champions League and their domestic league.

You are right. These teams are not performing regularly in the Champions League. There is no doubt that these two teams played very well in their respective leagues last season. So I think the chances of them playing well in the Champions League is low. The Champions League is very competitive. And if you want to do well here, you need experienced coaches and squads.

I personally think Girona and Bologna will not aim to do well in the Champions League. They will try to do well in their own league this season as well. Even if the previous game , Maccabi scored first but they had only 1-2 scoring chances when on the other side , FCSB had at least 6 big chances to score so I doubt they will miss so much again Wednesday when they will face Maccabi again.

Yeah that's  fair  every  team has an equal opportunity just like you said and I don't really like when speculators are making obvious claims when they know football is full of surprises even when we are very affirm to something  the opposite might always show up.
Every thing seem to be changing  as times goes on, football isn't like before where only the big clubs makes the only impacts, currently there more clubs joining the race, though currently most strong team made it to UCL so it will be hard to decide without seeing their performance  against each other but I know this upcoming UCL will be a very competitive one

Even next season, Real Madrid and Manchester City are still two teams that have high chances of winning the Champions League. The reason I predicted them as the two favourite teams is based on their current squads and their head coaches. The other teams may really try their best, but I can't say as much about them because these other teams qualified to play in the Champions League. I did not think they had a great squad like Real Madrid and Manchester City.
 
I expected other teams like Arsenal, Barcelona, Inter Milan, and others like that to perform well, and if they were lucky, they may later be favourites, but based on my observations, Real Madrid and Manchester City have the highest chances. As for Girona and Bologna, I can't really predict much about their performances, but from my observations of their current players, I can't say they will do better in the Champions League. 

For me personally, City is a club that has stood strong and has a strong foundation to compete in various competitions. Likewise with Real Madrid, this giant club from Spain is a team that has a champion mentality and that is why they are always one of the favorite teams throughout the Champions League competition. plus, Real Madrid is now increasingly competitive with some of its newcomers. after all, these two giant clubs from different leagues are teams that are always favorites in domestic league competitions. while other teams, especially those mentioned in this post, are not so popular as the strongest candidates in the UCL, it does not mean they have no chance, but several factors can be explained as the reasons. maybe as you said can represent it, one of which is the level of difficulty and difficulty in providing tight competition that distinguishes the two clubs that are the favorite teams. although, we will never know which team will win the Champions League competition for next season. after all, it is possible that Real Madrid and Manchester City can be thwarted by the teams that will be their opponents later. because, there is no guarantee that City and Real Madrid will appear in the final match of this competition later.
