Unexpected things happened, Real Madrid losing was beyond our expectations and Bayern Munich losing to Astron Villa but I didn't expect it. In other matches, Real Madrid came back from that place after falling behind, but Real Madrid could not do that in this Champions League match. 

Their opponents scored a goal against Real Madrid and that goal was a penalty but Astron Villa's goal against Bayern Munich was a great turning point for Astron Villa. And because of that goal, Bayern Munich lost to Aston Villa in that match. 
However, even if these two teams are defeated, I believe that they will return to winning streak again in the future.

Salah has shown great form this season, although previously he was doubtful to be able to return to his best form after injury, but now Salah has proven that he is still reliable in the Liverpool front line, Salah future is not clear  at Liverpool because his contract is about to expire, but I see that he is not burdened with it and continues to give his best for Liverpool, Since the Klopp era he has been a key player with his consistent contributions at Liverpool so it is no wonder that he is also still the mainstay from arne Slot at the moment.
Bologna this season has been different to last season, the many losses of key players have made them weak at the moment and Liverpool managed to make good use of those weaknesses to get the three points, Arne Slot has managed to bring a lot of positive changes in the current Liverpool squad, although he has a huge burden to continue the achievements and performances left by Klopp so far,  but with the quick adaptation, new strategy and tactics from slot certainly shows that Liverpool are indeed currently on the right track in the Champions League and the Premier League.

Liverpool have been impressive this season under Arne Slot’s administration. I expected Liverpool to struggle at this beginning stages of the season as the new manager will be trying to adapt with the team and introducing his strategies and tactics to the players, this process usually takes a while to kick off with some managers but so far the team look to have adapted quickly. Two games and two wins in their Champions League campaign so far is impressive.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid suffered defeats but were still acceptable because perhaps those clubs were lucky enough to beat UCL candidates for years with a narrow score. But Atletico Madrid's defeat was truly unacceptable even though previously Atletico Madrid was able to hold Real Madrid to a draw in La Liga but who would have thought playing in Portugal Atletico Madrid suffered a very embarrassing defeat and conceded 4 goals without being able to reply with 1 goal against Benfica.
Atletico Madrid's defense looked very weak in that match. I saw Benfica's statistics. They were very aggressive, taking lots of shots and trying to put pressure on Atletico Madrid until their opponents were completely helpless.

Looking at the statistics that occurred in this match, Bayern Munich can actually be said to deserve to win, but in football, controlling the match and controlling statistics is not enough, because they have to be able to score goals to win and Bayern Munich can't do that.
They almost controlled the entire game from the start to the end, but they couldn't do much to score a goal, while Aston Villa was able to take advantage of the few opportunities they managed to create to score 1 goal and finally that could make them win this match. This is a surprising result, of course, because many people predicted Bayern Munich would win.

I was happy to see Bayern Munich getting that win against Dynamo Zagreb but I knew that was a mid team and enough folks on here gave enough praise to Vincent Kompany after that game. I wanted to see him against a tactically sound manager and he didn't do so well against Bayern Leverkusen and now Aston Villa ( Xabi Alonso and  Unai Emery ) sometimes I feel like he's not a good replacement for Thomas Tuchel but, enough games ahead to see if he'll be able to win the Bundesliga League Competition. Bayern Leverkusen and Aston Villa has just shown the world the weakness of Vincent Kompany..

Nobody expected the match result to end in Aston Villa victory, on paper, Bayern Munich was superior in every way to the home team. It was a huge shock for Kompany who had been enjoying a fine start to the season, but the defeat was a step back for Bayern Munich from being so prolific to a team struggling to score goals. Having a goalkeeper of Emi Martínez's stature was a huge advantage for Aston Villa, he was solid between the sticks and managed to keep out shots from Serge Gnabry and Harry Kane in stoppage time to preserve his side's victory. However, Unai Emery men's brilliant performance deserves to be appreciated.

Munich lost but their performance was very good. I have no complaints about Munich's performance. Munich dominated this match. A lot of attacks were made by Munich players. I would say that Bayern Munich lost against Martinez in this match. The Munich players made some great shots. But every shot was blocked by Emilisno Martinez. Had Martinez not performed well in this match, Aston Villa would have conceded at least three goals. There is no doubt that Bayern Munich played very well. But they can't dodge Martinez. I would say Bayern Munich had bad luck. This is why Munich lost the match despite performing well.

The win is a big one for Aston Villa and a huge morale booster for them. I was not expecting that win because they have limited champions league experience besides Bayern Munic seem to be very determine to win a trophy this season so they were expected not to lose such important match. That is why it is football and the side that took advantage of their opportunities won. I just feel pity for Manchester United that will be meeting Aston Villa next because they might still lose again and this may not go down well with their supporters who are already depressed by the poor performance of the Red Devils.

I have no complaints about Munich's performance, except for their goalie. And the goal was a typical Neuer. I don't know what he was thinking. He often ran far out of his position for no reason. It's always easy for his opponents to get the ball above him into the goal net. He does it many times.

It's time for Bayern to get a quality goalie other than him.

This win of Aston Villa can be a big shock to Bayern Munich and many football fans in Europe but it's not surprising too much if you usually watch Premier League and Aston Villa matches. In the last two seasons, they grew up a lot and it's not coincidence and pure luckiness for them to be eligible for Champions League in this season.

The win against Bayern Munich is a strong voice from Aston Villa that their club quality is increasing as a sweet result of their good development strategies recent years. They don't stop and are continuing it as you can see their high standing in Premier League this season.

The results of Aston Villa's match against Bayern were indeed popular even though the resulting score was only 1-0 for Aston Villa's victory, but of course the victory was very meaningful for Aston Villa, but yes, Bayern at that time played very well and from the perspective of ball control, Bayern was certainly better. control the ball a lot. but yes, in the match between Aston Villa and Bayern, the Aston Villa goalkeeper (Martinez) was so good that it made it difficult for the Bayern players to score goals.

But honestly, I'm sure that even though Bayern currently lost to Aston Villa, they will definitely learn from experience and Vincent will definitely teach his men so that Bayern will be even stronger. Yes, football matches are sometimes always full of mystery because sometimes players who are considered weak can sometimes win, sometimes players who are considered strong can lose when competing. To be honest, I personally was very surprised by Bayern's defeat by Aston Villa and Real Madrid's defeat by LOSC, but what was unique was that the final score of their match was 1-0.

Personally, I am also looking forward to Real Madrid's match against Dortmund and for sure there will be fierce competition in that match and of course this match reminds me of last season's UCL final and in that match I think I want to bet on Real Madrid winning. Leipzig was pursuing a major win in a big match for a while and they gave a huge chance away. Probably a bigger chance. than they will ever get again. I was sure they would take home the victory after that tough red card and after theVAR penalty, but yet they failed again...

But they were 2 goals ahead before the second half, I guess they were just relaxed they won it already because I know leipzig they are always a team that stays hard to win especially  when they are leading in a particular game. They've always been a major problem for clubs even Real Madrid and Mancity had a tough time playing with them last season besides i think that was what knocked Leipzig out early(they played top club in the last UCL, somehow repeating it self again though )and I've always noticed they don't go for huge win they just maintain it once they have a lead(maybe that went wrong aswell in their last game). So far they've lost their 2 games in the early opening of the UCL,I guess it gonna be tough for then this time around.

The results of the match day of match week 2 of the UEFA Champions League this season was very surprising. I don't think there's anyone who had predicted that heavyweight like Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and defending champions Real Madrid would be beaten this weekend but that's football for you. Looking at the team of the week, I think it's very acceptable because no other players deserved to be listed that the players mentioned. Hopefully we're going to experience a better result when the UCL returns later this month.

Juventus may do better this season after been absent at the champions league last season as they did failed to qualify as they should have in the previous season, Leipzig is just characterized with too many inconsistencies recently and i don't think that will help them go a long way except they get it fixed as they should but then they don't seem to have that  team strength and form to build a good and strong might against their champions league opponent considering they are not experienced enough too in the champions league as some of their opponent.

If you watch at Barcelona performance in laliga and from the last game they played against the young boys you can see Barcelona are ready for their games this season.  This is the first season the new coach is managing the team which he is going to make sure he gives the best for the team to perform very well, which will can already see. I think Barcelona performance in champions league will be different and better than in other seasons. The players are really coordinated and it is brings good outcomes in every game .

My condolences. Weren't you confused by the rather generous odds for Bayern and Real to win? It seems to me that the bookmakers hinted that they weren't sure that both clubs would play to win. If I were to bet here, I would choose Real and Bayern double chance, and I would also lose both, but at least it was more unexpected.
By the way, if you look at the overall picture, Real's problems are obvious, and Bayern played one serious game this season and couldn't win it, the rest of the big wins were against obvious outsiders.

I have been notice about Girona because until week 2 they still unable to in form and yesterday Girona have lost with narrow scores 2-3 from Feyenoord and i can see it that Girona is very different compared to last season because last season they are very strong and Girona even can able to beat several strong teams such as Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in Laliga but now they were return to play just like mediocre team and until week 2 Girona still unable to gets the winning results and only occupy 30th place at League standing

Girona recent records is very poor because in the last 6 matches in all competitions Girona was unable to win and these situations makes me doubt they can able to advances to the next round and actually if we see from Girona schedules they actually will not facing hard match because mostly Girona only facing weak teams in this competition and after international break Champion league will continue and Girona upcoming opponent is Slovan Bratislava and maybe they can utilize this match to bounce back considering Slovan Bratislava is only weak team so probably they can gets their first winning through an this match

Exactly. The new method of champions league is affecting some top clubs performance, but surely they will still get their back performance, but I just hope it won’t be too late for them to do that, because already some teams that we did not even expect to see in the top 5 are not the ones in those positions. Real Madrid lost their match to Lille. I was surprised, though, but I later realised that is not a weak team either. Even though I know that many people were disappointed at the result of the match, that’s football; anything can happen. 


If those big teams understand the new method, they will surely bounce back with full strength, and the current teams that are at the top now will surely get down, but let's see till then; we don’t know if things will turn around, and the team we underrate may be the champion this season. Talking about experience, the last season experience is going to differ from this season because of the new method of champions league; they need to adapt a new plan and how they can be successful in their matches.
