Last season Arsenal managed to reach the quarter-finals, where expectations for Arteta's fleet were actually quite good, but in the end they failed at the hands of Bayern who were experiencing setbacks. Madrid, City and Bayern next season will be the main forces in the race for the trophy, and other candidates such as Arsenal are behind them. Arsenal's main priority is the Premier League, even though they are still trying their best in the Champions League, it is quite difficult to appear balanced in every competition.
This season is going to be entirely different from the previous one because Arsenal will put in more work for improvement and also keep close sights on major titles. The UEFA Champions League is not for newbies but for elite clubs that have stand their ground and knows basically what they need. Arsenal tried their best but couldn't coupled up with the outstanding performance of the club. It's been outrageous for Mikel Arteta and Gunners perhaps he's one of the promising coach to lift the burden of the club since the departure of Arsene Wenger.

Now Ancelotti even leads as the coach with the most Champions League titles, it proves that he is indeed a very good coach as proven by his success in the Champions League. Even though many say he is poor in strategy, this is not supported by the statistics he has recorded. The achievements he can achieve say that he is a good coach. Indeed, in the game he doesn't apply many complicated strategies like controlling the ball a lot or things like that. However, when attacking, he can make his attackers very effective in taking advantage of opportunities to score goals.
That's right and he got that achievement at several other clubs when he was a coach and what's great is that no one has been able to match his success in the Champions League. Ancelotti is not the type of coach who applies many strategies but his style is always to defend and attack according to the opponent he faces. The ability to place players always makes him successful and when the players he enters have a big role in winning.

Now Real Madrid squad will be much more dangerous because they managed to get Mbappe and his presence will definitely make their attack much more dangerous. If Ancelotti can bring in a midfielder who has creativity in his game and is able to maintain the rhythm of the game then I am sure Real Madrid will be much stronger next season.

I wouldn't underestimate his understanding of the game and how he conveys his concept for a particular game to his team. He may not go crazy at the drawing board like Guardiola or Nagelsmann, but he has his own way to let the team know where some kind of mathematics kick in. He includes things like the opponents becoming tired, the few chances his team will get, the efficiency his team works with, etc. etc. Ancelotti is someone who has all the little aspects in his head and he knows when to intervene tactically and in how far he can let his team just do whatever the team thinks is right. That's a very interesting approach, but I think it is a good way to do his job. They are all professionals on the pitch and he always had a mix of experienced players and younger super talents exactly for the reason that experience will guide his talents and he is taking care of the mental state of his players. A legend!

Yes, Mbappe joining the group makes them seem like a goddamn powerhouse. Before one ball is kicked, pundits already present the Champions League trophy. It seems as though everyone is forgetting that football isn't scripted. Recall Man City's choking during previous season? Shits occur. This fresh UCL arrangement? More games and much more anarchy. We might see some underdogs upsetting things. Indeed, Real Madrid seems unbeatable, but keep in mind that element of surprise counts. This is why this sport is so nasty exciting
Real Madrid was a strong club even before Mbappe joined this club, and it was the arrival of this star player that made everyone think Real Madrid would become even stronger than the others, but in football it is sometimes difficult to predict what is impossible becomes possible and vice versa. With the UCL arrangements having changed, the competition will definitely be more difficult than usual, there is still the potential for clubs that are not highly favored to achieve good luck by achieving good results, perhaps reaching the final and of course there will be many new contestants who will make things difficult for the big clubs, especially Leverkusen and Atalanta, who last season was a strong candidate at UEL.

Arsenal just needs a lot of experience in the UCL before they can get the UCL title. I mean actually Arsenal is focused on the EPL to win the title in the domestic league but Arteta also wants great experience to continue to see Arsenal shortcomings. So everyone already knows what will happen if Arsenal will definitely fail again in the UCL and return to focus on the EPL but there they will also fail.
This is what Arteta wants to learn to manage the team well arranging the match schedule to remain consistent in several competitions and this has been Arsenal weakness while under Arteta tutelage.

I said in another thread that actually Arsenal doesn't need to chase too much in the UCL but just focus on getting a title in the domestic league to improve the mental readiness of the players and if that all works, I'm sure in the UCL, Arsenal can perform even better.

When calling teams that can stand Real Madrid and can fight them to win the champions league trophy, I don’t usually add Arsenal to that list because they don’t look capable even though they’ve been trying very well recently. Teams like Manchester City and Bayern Munich are the ones are still find to be big opponents that can stop Teal Madrid from winning the champions league if they want to for another time in the next season. Pep Guardiola may have tasted defeat from Real Madrid the last time when they met in the Champions League but that’s not also a guarantee that they’ll win over them the next time they meet. Manchester City have also eliminated Real Madrid in the Champions before and that gave them the smooth path to win the champions league trophy that season. It happens to be something that any team that gets to eliminate the other will be the favourite to win the league and that has happens on two occasions so far. This next season calls for another speculations on who will win the trophy, we have to wait to see what both teams have for the next season before conclusions can be made on that.

Meanwhile, if Madrid face City again next season, it will be the most interesting revenge match, we hope that this match can take place in the final. If Bayern appointed a better manager than Kompany, they would be considered equal to Madrid and City in the list of favorite teams to win. On paper, this is the scenario that might play out next season, but there is still room for the possibility of surprises. There are several new teams coming in next season, and the Champions League will also change to a new format, who knows that the trophy will be won by a non-seeded team.

Its really interesting how Manchester city and Madrid have become the center of discussion for the champions league and some how it feels like no other teams are even good enough for the champions league and this was exactly what happened last season both in the champions League and the premier League.

Most persons least expected that at some point Manchester city was not going to exit the champions league but then they did came far before they got eliminated but the team that wasn't expected to even go too far enough happens to be the team that got to the finals.

Dortmund is one team most persons almost didn't expect to get to the finals but interestingly they pulled up a surprise that got everyone commending their efforts as to how well they were able to manage their performance till they made it to the finals.

That's the thing about Real Madrid, they are becoming very scary because they are doing everything absolutely perfect. They have a great president, they have a great management, they have a great staff team, they have great players, hell they even made a great stadium.

Considering all of this, there is a potential that they could do the treble for five years in a row and wouldn't even be shocking, not saying they will but the fact is that they could and would be realistic is the scary part. Who could beat Real in this period? I mean look at them, they are better than every team and they could keep on winning, and while they do spend a good chunk of money on all of this, they are making it back with the new stadium and all the reward prizes.

Real Madrid is literally the most perfect club right now. A dressing room filled with stars. What they need right now is a stable mentality, and positive mindset in all the players and they’re ready for ultimate greatness. I really won’t be surprised if they go ahead to win the treble or quadruple this season, they really can go for all the trophies that are available, and it won’t be an issue. We can’t be overestimating though, as every good thing comes with its troubles. And as the season unfolds, there will be such issues. Let's see how they battle it out.

Madrid are just squad qualified, from their defense line, midfielders then up to their attackers nothing seems missing to make them champions, in as much league they pertake in. Winning the Champions league sounds like their biggest threat because of team like Manchester City who is also a bigger threat in the Premier League, whereas both teams are likely the biggest competitors, lot of fingers are pointing between them both to lift the trophy. Apart from these two teams, a few teams will try to go tough, guess we never know yet untill then because club like PSG seems out of the race.

Sure Real Madrid has star players in their dressing room, players that are considered world-class, but that should not be a guarantee for them to win the Champions League two or three times in a row; they can end up not winning the Champions League next season despite all the players they have because some teams will display good performances we will never expect just because they will like to achieve their aim of winning the Champions League. Moreover, Manchester City is another team that will be a barrier to Madrid because Pep Guardiola will remember how he got eliminated last season and will take his revenge in the next coming season. Arsenal and other teams will also try to see if they can make it because the whole teams will not stay and be watching Madrid keep winning the Champions League back to back.

What can Paris Saint Germain do in the Champions League next season after they lost several important players? The reason is that they are always the topic of conversation in the Champions League, not a good topic of conversation, but they are criticized a lot because they can't show anything promising that could lead them to win the title for the first time.
Their very hot topic now is after losing Mbappe to Real Madrid. Many say that after losing Mbappe their performance will decline because this player is a mainstay on Paris Saint Germain's front line. Yes, I agree with that that Mbappe is a mainstay player, but will that necessarily make Paris Saint Germain's game drop drastically? I do not think so. If they drop drastically after Mbappe's departure, then they have failed as a team because they only depend on one player.

Psg will not do anything serious this season because last season there performance was wack  they won't even make it to the finals next season. Everyone was expecting a game between Madrid and psg but behold they did not make it. And now that they have lost some of their players they have to get players that can fill for the players they lost to another club. Its a normal thing in football to exchange players for improvement. Before Mbappe left psg it was as if he was tired of playing in psg and I don't blame mbappe for wanting to leave psg he wants to build him self to be like the legends his looking up too.

People are using their past to actually judge them and I don't see anything wrong with that because their fans to want the best out the club they are supporting.  They should know that players won't stay in the same club for ever and by now they should have accepted their fate that Mbappe is not part of them anymore. Why people think their performance will decline because of Mbappe absence, and its true because Mbappe as actually done a lot for psg but eventually they will be fine.

I know that Mbappe's departure will cause the PSG club to decline. But you should not underestimate PSG, they have ambitions in this Champions League arena, they have a lot of money, and that is the core thing for coach Luis Enrique to re-establish a perfect team. The top teams in Europe should now feel afraid of them. I don't know what crazy thing PSG can do. They will blatantly steal the top stars of the teams to fill the void left by Mbappe. This will be a new page for the PSG club. Will PSG challenge for the Champions League? I think the answer will depend on the leadership talent of coach Luis Enrique. He has all the ingredients to bring PSG to the championship. Let's wait and see which blockbuster players Coach Luis Enrique will bring in this summer's transfer window, as well as how he will rebuild the team after Mbappe leaves.

For the winners of the champion's league trophy, Madrid will continue to be on the top choice list going by their strength and knowing the depth of the team, currently in the champions league, it looks like there's almost no team who can be about to completely stand shoulder on with them, they are really in their best of form, Manchester city appears to be another team that's in their good form too and can be able to probably get in the way for Madrid, before now city has been the top choice for this but not anymore they are likend to normal competitors.
Most people are predicting that the champions league winner will be between Real Madrid and Manchester City. The season hasn’t started yet, but if I am predicting the winner of the Champions League, then I will be predicting either Manchester City or Real Madrid to win the Champions League also. We might end up being surprised, a club that we don’t really expect to perform well might end up surprising us next season, so let’s wait. Maybe we are going to be surprised, but for now, my favorite club to win the Champions League is either Real Madrid or Manchester City. But honestly, I will prefer Manchester City to win the league next season.

Based on Real Madrid and Manchester City's last season performance with their current squads, it is really clear that Real Madrid is one of the most favored teams to win the Champions League. However, Manchester City is also a great team and the second favorite to have a chance of winning the Champions League. But since the season is yet to start and the competition has not begun, I can't fully predict the teams that will have good chances like Real Madrid and Manchester City.Sometimes, football involves a bit of luck. If I remember what happened last season and how Dortmund reached the final, it seems that luck was on their side. Before the last season's Champions League started, I don't think Dortmund was among the favored teams to reach the final, but see how it happened.

I think PSG is not a very good team anyway. 1-2 star players are coming along with a few mid-level players, the team naturally looks successful. But after these star players leave the team, the performance of the team drops a lot because the players in the rest of the team are not that good. The team will not be the same after Mbappe leaves, I don't think the team will score as many goals as before without him.
They may be very successful in their own league, but they will not be able to play that well in Europe

It is the management that I so much envy for their effort on keeping the club to standard for a very long time. The management have always make sure that there is a professional coach to coach the players and do always recruit new top class players to strengthen the team ahead of next season.

Ancelotti is one of the coaches that has really committed himself to Real Madrid with his outstanding skills and experience in the coaching job which has made him to know how to convert players playing as midfield to attackers and vice versa. The club is in a strong form and no club has always kept to their quality for a very long time compared to Real Madrid.

You are right that Real Madrid management looks for an experienced coach before adding star players to the squad. It is possible to produce star players, or Madrid have enough money to buy star players. But if the coach is not experienced then the players will not perform consistently well no matter how talented and experienced they are. And this the Madrid management knows very well. This is why Madrid always put experienced coaches in charge of their squads. And this team performs consistently well.

I don't know how Madrid will be if Ancelotti leaves Madrid. However, Ancelotti has already managed to build a strong squad. Madrid's squad is pretty stable right now. And that's why it won't be too difficult for the new coach to work with the Madrid squad.
A team can have all the best players but will not be able to win any trophy at the end of the season without a good coach. PSG has the money to buy all the super star players in the world but they lack that insight that a professional coach is needed to manage these players in order to bring out the best in them so that victory will be certain. This is why PSG is finding it difficult to win UCL.

If Ancelotti leaves Real Madrid, nothing will change about them still being the favorite to win UCL because that is what the management always targets to win UCL. They will get a coach that is a professional, who will continue from where Ancelotti stopped and if he fails after two seasons, he will be fired. Ancelotti is not the first coach to win UCL for them, Zidane and Mourinho and many more coaches have done it before, so more coaches will still do it over and over again.

At this time, Real Madrid has become the team that has collected the most trophies in the Champions League because Real Madrid has successfully won 15 Champions League trophies so far. However, next season could also be a very good season for Real Madrid as long as there are not many of their players injured. Because if Real Madrid continues to be managed by Ancelotti, of course there is still a big possibility for Real Madrid to win its 16th trophy next season if Manchester City does not succeed in preventing Real Madrid from winning the Champions League next season.
The UEFA Champions League comes with sacrifices made by these elite clubs and only the most efficient club will step forward to win the UCL title. Real Madrid becomes the best with outstanding stellar performance portrayed by the club and headcoach, Carlo Ancelotti not holding back. Real Madrid is the best in the European football world, no doubt about the impressive stats pulled by the club.

I will never deny that Madrid is the best club in the world, it has already been proven, at least this year it was very well demonstrated, and what you think is very true, now Ancelotti has the sense to repeat history again, win the League, win the UCL, where their biggest rivals I think can continue to be the same, a Barcelona??Manchester City, Inter, among others like Bayern, because they have a great team and that Klopp left who did very well, and it is a shame because Klopp was like that knight in chess that gave his movement to checkmate.

PSG will not go down because they’ve sold their most valuable player. They have a lot on them to be able to buy new players that will keep them on the top fight in the league, so I don’t think they’re going down just like that. If they were to be a team without much financial capacity, they would have been thinking on how they can maintain that top position in Ligue 1 and also be a competitive team in Europe. But since they’re not, they’ll still be the best in their league.
There is no doubt that even though PSG loses its flagship player, League 1 will still be dominated by this club and the reason is clear, that good finances can always provide good results.
I also admit that PSG is still a consistent club but in the champions league I would really doubt the club because without Mbappe, PSG would only have difficulty scoring more than their opponents and the proof is that PSG's biggest scorer is only Mbappe who is the mainstay and just imagine how it would be PSG's performance without their mainstay players would definitely be very bad.

So far I only believe that everything will be fine, but I also believe that if a club is used to relying on just a few players in big competitions, one day it will definitely experience bad times in a few seasons and this will definitely be experienced by PSG who must be patient in building the club does not rely on star players but relies on cooperation between all players.
