People might think the Swiss Super League is not a -level but Lugano is a strong team. They caused a lot of trouble for, Fenerbahce had to work very hard to beat Lugano. Mourinho's side still has to get through the third qualifying round and the play-offs to qualify for the 2024/25 Champions League group stage. The next opponent of Jose Mourinho and his students will be a representative from Ligue 1, Lille. This time, the challenge will be much bigger. In the past, the two teams have met twice. If they can eliminate Lille, Mourinho's team will enter the final qualifying round of the Champions League, then think about the group stage of Europe's number one tournament.

Fenerbahçe really struggled unbelievably much. They had a weak opponent like Lugano in fact but it wasn't easy at all. Turkish teams are interestingly like this every year. I mean they always struggle at the beginning of a season.

We have seen many examples of their being eliminated by much weaker teams in such competitions because of that.    At least Fenerbahçe didn't let it happen yesterday which was relieving.

Next opponent is Lille, yeah. They are a much more serious team. Fenerbahçe can't show the same performance if they want to reach playoff round. I hope Mourinho prepare his player better for that draw.

Fenerbahce's new coach is not Luis Enrique but Jose Mourinho... But the point is really that they have a really good coach coming in now, who can make the game much better... I also think they are not a weak club, but still the Turkish league is weaker than the French league, so it seems to me... Lille is not a weak opponent for them... Of all the qualifying rounds, this one will probably be the most interesting...

Leverkusen knows how to play the European game. They have been all around the block and possess the tenacity and knowledge needed to go far in the Champions League. Experience counts, and those folks know this.

Girona and Bologna are first rodeo participants in the top leagues. But hey, remember Dortmund? They shocked everyone a little bit years ago and travelled all the way to the finals. Girona's calculated actions, strengthening their team, make them obviously serious. Though Bologna's route is difficult, that is what makes football interesting. The fans like to see the new men come in and disrupt things sometimes. Its anybody's game, folks.

Lugano is a lower quality team than Fenerbahçe. This was Fenerbahçe's luck. Their opponent in the next round will be Lille, a well-established team in France. A mistake against Lille could have irreversible consequences. They are not as simple a team as Lugano and they are also very successful in converting the chances they find into goals. If they want to qualify for the Champions League, they must win their away game against Lille and get away from this terrible picture.

I don't see any chance to consider the Fenerbahce team as weak now. Fenerbahce team performed quite well in the Super Lig last season. Despite failing to become champions, the overall performance of this team was very good. And Fenerbahce got an experienced coach like Luis Enrique this season. If Luis Enrique can stabilize this team a bit, we will see a further improvement in Fenerbahce's overall performance.

Fenerbahce players have the ability to perform well. Fenerbahce was the top scorer in the Super Lig last season. Fenerbahce scored 99 goals in 38 matches. From this it can be understood that this group is quite strong. Luis Enrique must try to strengthen the bonding between the players. At the same time, Luis Enrique has to develop a stable match strategy. I watched Fenerbahce's performance against Lugano. Fenerbahce performed very well in both matches. It will not be difficult for Fenerbahce to beat the Lille team now.

I think Fenerbahce has a chance to beat Lille... Of course Lille is not Lugano, but I would say that Fenerbahce is not lower class... Especially with the new coach... It will be interesting to see who will be stronger... But of all the other clubs only Lille is probably the most difficult...

Did I watch it wrong or did Fenerbahçe advance to the next round by chance?
The team has been training for 6 weeks and still isn't ready.
Lugano took the lead 0-1, then made effective attacks and Livakovic made good saves, otherwise the match would have been 0-3.

Besides Slovan Bratislava i have seen Qarabag also has successfully to resumes their positive results from their opponent and they had just humiliated Lincoln with 5 goals without reply too and Juninho is deserved to being an man of the match because he can make a hattrick and so far Qarabag still able to managed their cleansheet records because they can eliminate Lincoln with final aggregate 7-0

Mourinho also can successfully to bringing Fenerbahce to advances to the next round because at home Fenerbahce can able to win from Lugano with narrow scores 2-1 but next match won't be easy for Fenerbahce because they have to fight against Lille on 3rd qualification matches of champion league and in the term of quality certainly Lille quality is above to Lugano so this match would be so tight and hard to predicted who is the winner

The trouble with those kind of teams is that they had a great season last year, but that doesn't mean that they will have a great one this year as well. They may continue with their form and be great this year too and maybe will shock the world, nobody believed Dortmund would be at the finals last year if you asked them at the start of the season neither, but they did and that kind of thing could happen with these teams as well, or they could just be worse this year and last year could be just one good season, just like how Napoli won the title but then sucked a year after.

These type of smaller clubs, not like dominant such as city or real type of clubs, end up having one good season and then start being terrible after that, usually that's the issue.

I feel like we are talking about something that will take a while to make this work and that is why I believe that we are going to end up with something that may not be all that insane for them, could be very different situation. This is why I think we are going to end up with something worse for them, like barely out of the group stages or maybe not even out of the group stages, and none of them may reach quarter finals neither.

In the first half, Fenerbahce looked awful. Lugano was passing their asses to them! Though they seemed entirely bewildered out there, really, giving an early goal like that may screw with a team's head. Could not assemble a good pass to save their life. But second half, Mourinho turned those guys like monsters! He is the Special One, guy, for this reason. He altered their plan, they began attacking like frenzied hounds, and Dzeko nets one. Unquestionably, Paulo is a brilliant master. He is remarkably good at reading the game and making the necessary adjustments. Nobody else could do. Man, that's the kind of football that gets your blood running. From the first half, it was a tremendous 180, all thanks to Mourinho's brilliance

Today there are 7 matches that will take place and I will not take a big risk to get high odds.
Choosing under or over for me is a very good choice even though the odds are small but I get high odds with multi bets to get odds @8
The reason I don't take a big risk is because most of the clubs that are currently appearing are not familiar to me and I only analyze independently to get satisfactory results.

But from these 7 matches, the only ones that seem to guarantee to advance to the next round are FC Dynamo Kiev and Jagiellonia Bialystok.
Both clubs get a very large aggregate and are quite defensive without wasting too much energy to score.

Maccabi Tel Aviv FC against Fotbal Club FCSB will be a difficult match to predict but I have a little good feeling for Maccabi Tel Aviv FC to be able to qualify.

I almost lost the bet because Fenerbahce had great chance to draw against Lugano but it was amazing when they managed to get goal in the end.
If that hadn't happened I would have probably lost all my bets.

To be honest I rarely take BTTS but you good win.
All the games in the qualifying round were very satisfying, some of the favourites managed to win from the first leg and this second leg.



They almost ended the game with draw but even with the draw Fenerbahce still got the win because of the aggregate advantage.
Mourinho was very happy with the win and Fenerbahce played well as expected.

Mourinho is good at reading the match, see problems of his team and can do quick player replacements and tactical changes to adapt to competitor and a match, then help his team to change the match direction. He does not succeed all the times but with his sharp vision and quick, determined responses, he can help his team to succeed in many matches.

With results from two matches with Lugano, Fenerbahce got the ticket they want to go next in Champions League 2024 - 2025. It's not a bad start for Mourinho with Fenerbahce and now he can focus on his start with Fenerbahce in Turkish league with a task to win it. Their boss hired Mourinho to win the domestic league title and try to go far in Champions League.

Dzeko scored four goals for Fenerbahce in two matches with Lugano. It's very impressive performance from an old striker like Dzeko and he will be one of aces under sleeves for Mourinho in a long season.

Ahhh damn the chances I bet on are indeed very risky Fenerbahce and Sk Slovan according to expectations but Petrocup? this club only drew with APOEL and this result made APOEL continue to advance, in the next round it will be even more difficult to predict because APOEL will meet Slovan Bratislava seeing in the previous match Slovan's attack was a bit brutal when playing against Celje at home it seems Slovan will be the favorite to win against APOEL in the first leg.

For tomorrow's match I will be more careful to enter the Multi bet, this time I will bet on BTTS and still have quite high odds

Yes you are right I also think Fenerbahce played poorly in first half. They let in goal early and didn't create many chances to score. Lugano was in control, but Mourinho changed his plan at halftime. In second half Fenerbahce started attacking more and scored goal with Edin Dzeko which was important for tie. First half was disappointing, but team did much better in the second half. They showed strength and determination, making their final performance good.

The performance of Fenerbahce players was quite slow in the first half. Fenerbahce conceded the goal in just 7 minutes. And I haven't seen Fenerbahce players create any strong attacking chances after conceding a quick goal. In the first half I saw Lugano's players dominate.

However, in the second half, Mourinho changed his match strategy. And from the beginning of the second half, Fenerbahce's players started playing with attacking tactics. Fenerbahce needed a draw in this match. And in the 59th minute, Fenerbahce's players equalized with Edin Dzeko's goal. Despite not performing well in the first half, Fenerbahce players performed well in the second half. I am satisfied with the overall performance of Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce won the game against Lugano. Though it was not an easy game for Fenerbahce (following it's hosted the game), and I'm happy my choice was right. It's quite difficult for Special One's team to win against Lugano, but they were proving it. 

Fenerbahce's performance was not so convincing to me at all, but i take it. Also, the crucial point was when Lugano players were gassed starting from minute 60. From that point, Fenerbahce was taking control over the game. But this is not enough to face Lille, and i think Lille will be a much tougher challenge for Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahçe's current form won't be enough to beat Lille. Mou's club must improve. And last, although it's a bad game by Fenerbahçe,  they're scoring two goals.

Yes. Even if last season they could show great performance, it doesn't guarantee for another good performance for the next season. Moreover, they look not as strong as the pervious season again. It will be very difficult for them to repeat the same performance. The change of coach and some key players, will surely have big impacts to the performance of the team. It is very reasonable that we doubt with their performance in the next season, specifically for the performance in the UCL. UCL is the most difficult competition in football because it covers all the best teams in Europe.

I think so. There will be no many people to expect high for those teams. But you must realize some members here to have great expectation. I think we need to explain deeply to the people who have too high hope for the teams. They mustn't bet confidently with those teams because they chance to fail very high.

If Girona can possibly come with the energy they recently came up with in the just concluded laliga once again then I see no reason for them to make no impact at UCL, forget about its game of the strong, with their previous performance they could comeuppance with something spectacular and surprising....at the moment,  they are not too complete in squad but they could be competitive interm of gameplay very soon just like Leipzigif they get more players.
They might not be able to take alot of top clubs but I see a very great potential in them... Fr
