Manchester City are going through a tough time at the moment, they have only one more match left and if they lose that match, they will be eliminated from the Champions League. The next match against Club Brugge is very unlikely to be won, as their opponent is ahead of Manchester City. However, since this match will be played at home, Manchester City will definitely try their best to win. Pep Guardiola is under a lot of pressure at the moment, so he will definitely try to give something good for the next match, since playing at their own venue, Man City will gain a lot of advantage.

Manchester City are in a very bad situation. We saw Manchester City lose by a big margin against PSG. I cannot accept that City will lose 4-2 after being ahead by 2 goals.

Both teams played well in the first half but could not score any goals. However, Manchester City took a 2-0 lead just 8 minutes into the second half. But after that, PSG completely dominated the match. PSG equalized in just 7 minutes and PSG won the match 4-2 in the end.

Manchester City is in 25th place in the points table. Even if they win the last match, it is not certain that City will qualify for the playoffs. Moreover, I cannot call Club Brugge a weak team. I would say that Guardiola should now focus on the Premier League. City's future in the Champions League is not good.

When it seems like Manchester City is back then they come up with another disaster. City were expected to beat PSG in today's game. Manchester City inconsistency keeps on going.
I watched the game and I still see lots of loop holes in the Manchester City defense although they have signed new players I still believe the issue is more of tactics than players.
Manchester City are in serious trouble, this is the worst season ever for our pay cheque coach Pep, his team seems to be experiencing what they have never experienced before. I can't even count again how many times City were in a pool position of winning a game but later either plays draw or loses the match, it's really surprising for a formidable team like City to be playing like this.

PSG managed to take advantage of the home game well, surprisingly they managed to beat Manchester City dramatically. After being two goals down, Luis Enrique squad managed to equalize within seven minutes. Manchester City defense line looked very porous, and towards the last match PSG managed to turn things around which made the match end 4-2. Looking at the course of the match, Manchester City seemed to have lost their identity, they failed to dominate possession.

PSG broke a number of predictions by playing beyond expectations. Luis Enrique showed his genius in formulating strategies and reading Manchester City weaknesses. This defeat is clearly a serious problem for Manchester City and especially for Pep Guardiola, their journey to the last 16 will likely fail. In my opinion, this season is Manchester City worst period under Pep Guardiola leadership.
Yeah, Luis Enrique's men really surprised me, PSG right from Champions League match day 1 hasn't been doing well, because before the game, they had only 7 points and were in the relegation zone. Last night was like a do or a die affair for them in that game. What surprised me was the comeback, from losing 2 - 0 in the 53rd minute to winning 4 - 2 and it wasn't even extra time but 90 minutes. Seriously, I thought it City had won after they went 2 goals up.

If it wasn't Pep Guardiola, he would definitely have been fired, and I don't think Guardiola would leave Man City in such a tattered state because it would not only hurt his pride, but it would also tarnish the good name he has worked for.

No one expected that Man City would be ranked 25th in the Champions League standings, but they still have a way to qualify, where they must win their last match against Club Brugge. Man City should have won because they had the advantage of playing at home, but they cannot afford to be careless because Brugge will certainly play to the death for their points advantage over Man City. A draw would knock Man City out of the Champions League.
Not only on the field, Pep Guardiola also faces the problem of his wife filing for divorce so it is natural that Man City performance can be bad because mentally Pep Guardiola is under a lot of pressure from outside and inside the field. If in the end the bad results do not get him fired, it means there is something wrong with the management of this club which seems to show how unprepared they are to face change.

Four games 1 point 13 goals conceded and just 6 score it's all about Manchester City which is losing their competitiveness and now on verge of losing their spot for top 24 in Champions League after 7 days last game against Club Brugge is surely important for them.

Premier League title already gone and now these humiliating defeats surely having huge impact on their confidence and moral which is already on lowest level even many were expecting good from them after having few good results, but things are still not as they needed. Pepe is going to be more under pressure because they needed something good which give them chance of improvement Etihad Stadium is still good advantage for them as they are having few important games at their home which can give them success and chance of comeback.
It would be more exciting if Man City did not qualify, 1 match left is a pretty tough chance. I'm sure Club Brugge will try to give Man City's worst nightmare, their chances are now below 50%. Moreover Club Brugge also needs a landslide victory to qualify so there is no guarantee that Man City can get out easily. Wow this is very interesting after his disaster in the Premier League, now Pep Guardiola is hit by a bigger problem in the Champions League.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills

Manchester City have made it very difficult. Again they lost a game they were 2-0 up. I mean, how do you concede four goals after the 55th minute when you're 2-0 up? There's no discipline in the team. There's no holding the game, no controlling the game. They're currently 25th, outside the play-off picture. They have to win the last game for sure and even that might not be enough. Nothing is going well for Manchester City this season, who are already behind in the Premier League. PSG, on the other hand, made their job a little easier by beating this tough opponent. They have also lost a lot of points, this win is very important for them. They will continue on their way from the play-offs.
This is chaotic, Man City should have been able to hold a draw but instead conceded more goals this did not think the score would end 4-2 because it was too sloppy for Man City after being 2 goals ahead.

How long will Pep Guardiola fix this problem? Some players have been brought in for the needs of their squad looks this is still difficult for us to see now.

Their chances of qualifying are still hopeful but the expectation of advancing further is still difficult, if they qualify for the playoff phase, they may fall in this round.

Yesterday both Milan and Inter did their duty as Italian teams by winning and dreaming of the round of 16.
I find Inter really coherent and they are working very well in the championship.
On the other hand, i find it absurd that AC Milan are defending themselves very well in the cup and are playing well.

Football can be brutal at times, look at these stats... 30 shots yet no goal to show for, 80% ball procession yet no goal to show for, 13 corners against one but still no goal to show far  Cry I don't know how Feyenoord did it but whatever goal scoring opportunity came they made it count, but 3nil Damn you Bayern !!!

Of all the games last night this must have been the rotten egg, imagine just looking for a single Bayern goal and going all in and didn't land... I think this one cost alot of punters money otherwise fixtures in general did come as expected.

Football is indeed very crazy and that's what makes it the best sport among others. We love it so much that they make us to lose money every day but we can't still let go. In football, what matters in the end is the scoreline. The rest is just a mere statistics for entertainment and nothing much. This Feyenoord team is just extra ordinary when it comes to playing against big teams. Did you remember, Feyenoord drew with Manchester City from three goals down and now beating Bayern Munich with three goals to nil, isn't that insane Grin

Imagine having 30 shots without a single goal to show for it. How possible to convince someone who did not watch this match that Bayern Munich lost the game with these stats? But I feel bad for that goal keeper for the pressure received.

People who bet in Feyenoord were lucky. I think even the fans of Feyenoord were not expecting to see their team win the game against a team like Bayern Munich because of the past results we saw from these two teams. Now they won the game with a 3-0 result while compared to Bayern Munich, Feyenoord doesn't have a good investment to buy good players and coaches for this team. Still, the key for Feyenoord was the counterattacks because they used the chances they had in this team perfectly.

While Bayern Munich had much more control over the game and they had more goal opportunities and more shots but they could use the chances in this game. This made to to see this unbelievable result between Feyenoord and Bayern Munich.

There were some good matches last night.

Real Madrid won very easily against Salzburg. They finished the match 5-1.

PSG - M.City match was a very important match for both teams. It was an exciting match. PSG won the match 4-2 and I think they guaranteed a play-off.

There will be very exciting matches next week.

By the way, Man City must win the latest match in UCL league phase to return to plays off zone. They will play against Club Brugge in matchday 8. I don't expect Man City to miss 3 points in this match.

Sucks to be Mancity FR , I don't know what they were thinking after the first two goals.. now it's 4-2 giving a win to PSG , a draw could have been much more better for them to hold onto but not anymore... wth is wrong with the team .
Hence, If they can't  win PSG how will they win Club Brugge because  they will also be in same state of trying to protect themselves from getting dropped out  of the race, though  they look weak a little but with what happened  tonight anyway can take on Mancity  Tongue and get a win .

Manchester City right now is in big trouble because something is not going well with the team, they are currently losing against any team and tonight they had an opportunity to secure a 2:2 draw against PSG but they messed everything up as they allowed 2 goals into their net to make the game 4:2. This is the time we expect the manager to do something because they can't be losing importance matches all the time and with this loss it will be difficult game for them to escape Club Brugge in their next encounter, Manchester City is already a weak team right now it will take the team time to come to good performance again because right now they can't be a strong opponent to any one.

This loss will hurt Manchester City so bad. They need to win in the last round against Club Brugge and pray that other teams dont win that it goes their way. I dont know how you lose after leading 0-2 this shows that Manchester City is still in problems and even a big win against Ipswich couldnt make them go on a winning streak

I still can't believe the results Manchester City got so far. Manchester City is known for their good performance they had the Champions League in the past and they won the Champions League title with Guardiola but now this coach was not successful at all even against PSG they had the worst results they could get.

Manchester City lost the game with a 4-2 result against PSG and now PSG feels safer they still can't have a good situation even after this win but Manchester City doesn't have a good situation at all because now the match against Club Brugge is the most important match they are going to have because Manchester City has to win this match and beat Club Brugge, otherwise they should say goodbye to this tournament much sooner than we were expecting to see.

Barcelona after successfully defeating Benfica will certainly continue to compete against Atalanta in my opinion this is very interesting to discuss because Atalanta in the 7th match has successfully defeated SK Sturm Graz with a score of 5-0 and Atalanta players are very extraordinary slaughtering SK Sturm Graz with a fantastic score. it feels like if later meet Barcelona it will certainly be an exciting match because both teams are teams that are currently in good form.
If Barcelona find themselves in the same scenario like they had against Benfica, they will more likely lose the game because Atalanta is not like Benfica, they are still a solid team in the Serie A league and not ignoring the fact that they won the Europa League last season defeating both Bayern Leverkusen and Liverpool.

The game will likely be tough and I expect them to capitalise in any of the Barcelona mistakes and maybe get a win or a tie against them.

indeed if our remember Atalanta who became the champion of the Europa League it is certainly not easy for Barcelona to win because Atalanta has players who have strong strength and good mentality. but Barcelona is also still a team that cannot be underestimated and of course we still remember the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid who were the champions of the Champions League last season and Barcelona has successfully defeated Real Madrid.

indeed to predict this match it will be very difficult because both teams have good strength but of course there could be a draw in this match considering their strengths are equally good. it seems that when betting on that match I will only put in a little money because I am afraid of losing if my guess is wrong.

Today's match results,

Arsenal vs Dinamo Zagreb (Arsenal over 2.5) 3-0 Win
Real Madrid vs Salzburg (BTTS) 5-1 Win
PSG vs Manchester City (City win) 4-2 Loss
Feyenoord vs Bayern Munich (BTTS) 3-0 Loss
Milan vs Girona (BTTS) 1-0 Loss
Sparta vs Inter Milan (BTTS) 0-1 Loss

What I feared happened in the defeat of Man City and Munich. Such a painful defeat for the big team. Maybe for Munich this is not a problem because its position is still safe to qualify for the play-off round. But Man City is still very doubtful to qualify if its performance is still like this. But I think in the UCL currently using a new system makes it difficult to predict the big teams. And at least seeing Madrid and Arsenal's victory is very enjoyable.

Personally, yesterday I chose a simple Inter win, Arsenal win with a handicap of -1 and Real win with a handicap of -2. You took too big a risk in my opinion: PSG were the favorites from the start, and Real did not have to concede a goal. What is interesting is that it was the last bet that played correctly.
In general, I don’t follow the BTTS market very closely, but I have the impression that in the last month, in almost all championships, BTTS No is a profitable bet.

If anyone had said at the beginning of the season that Manchester City would be in such a ranking, no one would have believed it. For many people, Manchester City was seen as one of the top eight teams in the Champions League at the beginning of the season. In fact, they were one of the teams with a high probability of winning the championship. However, they are having an incredibly bad season. The defeat to Paris Saint-Germain has further triggered this. Now Guardiola's only chance is to win his last Champions League match and make it to the Playoffs. I would never have thought that Manchester City's only chance would be to make it to the Playoffs.

I second that, but when you think about it, all teams perform in cycles. Now cycles can be varying for different teams obviously and be less intense for some of them. But Liverpool had this in 2022 2023 when they finished 5th after they got 92 points in the Premier League the season before. You can see it in all leagues that every dominating team has it's weak momentum. Maybe except for Ligue 1 where there is only one real big team.

Manchester City's cycle was outlandishly long and strong. They have been the best team every season for many years. Being the best team in football doesn't mean you win everything as especially in knockout games you can be dominating and still lose.

But the time had to come for Manchester City when their competitors better understand to adapt to their game and find solutions quicker and when the Manchester City players can't maintain the same level of motivation and intensity and eventually lose this reputation of being unbeatable. I think this is where we are at now and Guardiola is trying to infuse to his players this confidence again, but it is hard to do if it's the same players. I think this is why they will be more active on the transfer market.

Yesterday I lost another bet, it's been difficult this season for me to get some bets right
I bet on Milan winning against Girona (I got it right), but I also bet on Bayern Munich winning against Feynoord and the German team lost 3-0  Roll Eyes

It's a good thing I didn't bet on Sporting winning because I was going to lose too
Now I need to recover those lost bets

Maybe I'll try my luck in Europa League, If anyone has any tips on odds that are worthwhile, please let me know  Wink

This is a very bad result for the City, up to 53 minutes it seemed that they completely control this match and for PSG in the Champions League everything would turn out badly, but then the City defense simply crumbled.

I did not expect such a defeat from the City, but apparently they were irregularly from the crisis, and now they have changed with PSG places, and in the last match with Bruges they only need victory and this still does not guarantee them a place in the playoff. On the other hand, it may be for the better, with such a game they are unlikely to achieve anything.

At the moment Manchester City is the 1st not qualified team.
Crazy only thing to think at the start of the cup.

1 game to go, did they will miss it?
Probably not even if the pressure it will be massive.
Is clear that they are not yet back in their form because they lack consistency, this game against PSG I was thinking that City would rubbish PSG but the game was against City. I wonder how they are going to manage with the Blues this weekend and is like from fry pan to fire. We know Chelsea are still trying to get that chance of getting close to the league leaders in the EPL even if the manager is still deceiving himself that they are not and we could see how desperate they are playing every week and Man City are still going to struggle to get something out of this encounter, I'd go for a Chelsea win.

It's was a really long day for Bayern Munich as before their very eyes their efforts turned counter productive even with all the dominance and statistical leads, just maybe they needed some work done on their defence line as that's the only thing aligning to be the solution for a situation as this, because if they have their defence firm enough,  it's very possible they are not going to concede this much goal as goal concession usually happens to affect the psychology of players and may cause them to not be able to really score as much goal.

I don't know where on earth did Feyenoord team drew their strengths from to stand the whole pressure of Bayern. They can allow a big team they play against to have the match ball possession but to have the 3 points without them having any match point, is the difficult thing we have seen them do in their  Champions League match.

As for Bayern, they heap a lot of pressure from the first half to the second half, to make sure they equalize but Feyenoord's defense and goalkeeper remain strong to it all. However, this loss match of Bayern Munich is perhaps not how many gamblers thought the result to be, but it was a well-executed plan for Feyenoord to have to win to step ahead of the Champions League table because they currently appear in the 11th spot of the table with 13 points
