I just imagine how Pep Guardiola will be handling and facing this players in the dressing room, I don’t think his entire coaching career he has ever faced such bad form for up to five matches now, he’ll be thinking much on how to make things right for himself and the team. The outcome of this match is already a big sign that their next match in the premier league can’t be won easily for them considering them playing with Liverpool who are currently at the top of the standings and will want to continue to maintain that position.

I guess this season is not designed for the Manchester City to triumph and this continuous failure by the club has only downgraded the image of Pep Guardiola as one of the most celebrated professional manager of his time. I wonder if what happened to Jose Mourinho at a time is likely to happen to him now.

Last season was grandiose for the Manchester City in terms of their great performances throughout the season. No one would have thought it could get this worse. About 5 matches now in a row without any tangible result to celebrate. Even the small teams are beating the Manchester City like play. If Manchester City faces the Liverpool side with this same energy, there's high chances that Liverpool disgrace the Manchester City guys in that match.

But I've been meaning to ask, what could have actually been the issue?

I'm more interested in the game between Arsenal and Sporting than any of the other games scheduled for tonight because of two reasons.
1. Sporting is the side that utterly thrashed the reigning English champions, Man City and I'm hoping to see if the Gunners can make them pay, sort of.
2. Arsenal have only lost to Inter Milan in this champions league competition and would be hoping to make sure that doesn't get repeated but it will be very interesting if Sporting manages to get three points from them because then they would have been able to defeat two strong clubs in the English division and if Victor Gyokeres is on target again tonight, he won't just be the highest goal scorer in the champions league but the only player to score against two big clubs in premier league.
After Martin Odegaard return to play Arsenal can return to the winning ways and last week Arsenal has just won from Nottingham Forest which this result is good to boosted their confidence and if we see from head to head statistics i can see Sporting is became an the team who hard to beated by Arsenal and last season both teams has been met at round of 16 in this competition and Arsenal was unable to beat Sporting twice so this proven Sporting has a potention to make Arsenal gets in trouble moreover this is home match for Sporting and i am sure they don't want to lost in the front of their fans however according to the odds we can see Arsenal is the favourite

No doubt, the Norwegian's return to play has helped improved Arsenal's game and from the Nottingham Forest match down to yesterday's game with Sporting, it was obvious to all how much input Martin Odegaard had. I'm truly impressed over how Arsenal refused to get intimidated by the fact that they were being hosted by the same team that defeated City and instead showed Sporting how things are being done.

Today's Champions League matches are as follows:

1. Red Star Belgrade vs Stuttgart
2. Sturm Graz vs Girona
3. Aston Villa vs Juventus
4. Monaco vs Benfica
5. PSV vs Shakhtar Donetsk
6. Liverpool vs Real Madrid
7. Celtic vs Club Brugge
8. Bologna vs Lille
9. Dinamo Zagreb vs Borussia Dortmund

Undoubtedly, Liverpool vs Real Madrid is the most anticipated clash of the day, a true battle where I expect no less than three goals to be scored. However, I’ll be watching Aston Villa vs Juventus. Juventus is one of my favorite European teams.
Liverpool vs Real Madrid is the big match of today and before this game begin people have been discuss about this match plenty with placed Liverpool as the favourite to win this match and recently i just bets on Liverpool win and as the favourite the current odds for Liverpool is not too high approximatelly @1.80 and hopefully the result of this match will be according to many people predicted that Liverpool will win

For the match Aston Villa vs Juventus although this is home match for Aston Villa but i highly doubt Aston Villa can able to overcomes Juventus moreover Aston Villa condition is not really good even in the last match they had just lost from Club Brugge and Juventus too has gets unsatisfactory result from this competition because they only playing draw from Lille and i am thinking possibility this match will ended to draw again or probably under 2.5 goals is good

It seems that Manchester City's problems continue. Things looked quite good for the first 70 minutes, but what happened next was a total disaster.
I don't know why Manchester City continue in this problem, at 70 minutes it was good enough, which should be in 20 minutes to the end of the game can maintain the victory, but this is a disaster.

Big win by Bayern, they weren't doing that great in the UCL this season, but an away win against PSG is a powerful statement. PSG has now dropped to a disappointing 26th place in the UCL table, so, as of now, they don't even qualify for play-offs. They might drop even further down after today's round is completed.
PSG's fate in the UCL is always tragic, they bring in a lot of players but this does not mean anything in this competition, but Bayern Munich no doubt the game is still quite good even though the results are not big.

The most interesting game tonight has to be Liverpool Vs Real Madrid. Bookies are favouring Liverpool with odds at x1.68, while paying x4.40 for Real. I think that's fair given Liverpool's 100% UCL win rate so far and their great performance in the Premier League. Real have seen better seasons, but they are always dangerous.
Liverpool in the Premier League and Champions League are quite consistent, so it is natural that the bookies offer low odds.
For me there is still a possibility of Liverpool winning.

It is now obvious that Manchester city have failed wolfully. to be honest with you yesterday I was very surprised about their result against Feyenoord and if someone told me that the game we be a 3-3 draw I wouldn't believe it because when I saw three goals in 53 minutes I was like Manchester city is going to secured the three points, to my greatest surprise Feyenoord use 19th minutes and equalize the three goals and hold till the final whistle. However, with this poor performance of Manchester city now I don't really think they will be able to withstand Liverpool this weekend.

Manchester City poor performance still continues to bloom and there’s no hope of them getting things right now as they lose to any type of team and not just big teams only. That was the champions league and they were leading with three goals, no this is not the Manchester City we know when they’re already leading by this margin and later ended the match in a draw. This speaks more about how their performance has been so worst and they haven’t come over it yet.

I just imagine how Pep Guardiola will be handling and facing this players in the dressing room, I don’t think his entire coaching career he has ever faced such bad form for up to five matches now, he’ll be thinking much on how to make things right for himself and the team. UEFA Champions League becomes very tactical tonight. I've placed my wager for today's game, it becomes very easy to accumulate profits when you've spotted the necessary games. Real Madrid have more lists of injured players this season, watching them struggle to win games becomes more tense, perhaps they would be able to survived at Anfield. Carlo Ancelotti will ensure he's having proper stands against Arne Slot. The atmosphere at Anfield is quite different compared to other stadiums tonight. We're looking at the tense momentum tonight, who's taking the three solid winning point?

Don't forget that Liverpool is playing with the 14th time champion and for that reason why shouldn't feel that Liverpool would be the winner of the game. Real Madrid can surprise us with a brilliant performance and draw the match or if possible win the match. Winning Leganes 3-0 is a good motivation for them to believe that victory is possible despite playing away.
I think Real Madrid is too erratic at the moment and Liverpool is a beast of a team in their home stadium at Anfield Road. This doesn't mean it is an automatic loss as Real Madrid has too high quality players, but it is going to be a real challenge and Real Madrid has all the pressure while Liverpool is all set since they won their games so far. Real Madrid on the other hand understand that a loss could get them in serious trouble for this Champions League season as they want to avoid playing in the play-off phase against another big team as that could mean the end for them.

If we have to compare Liverpool and Real Madrid I think at this moment it is going to be Liverpool which will have the upper hand. Because even though Real Madrid is in the second position of the La Liga table, the performance is not consistent and not reliable as well. But on the other hand, the performance from Liverpool seems to be very reliable right now. The only reason people are even giving Real Madrid a chance in this match is because Real Madrid is a great team when it comes to performing well in the Champions League competition. Otherwise, I think almost everyone would have counted Real Madrid out for this match. And I still think that Real Madrid is not going to win this match against Liverpool tomorrow...
Real Madrid, the current defending champions, are playing against Liverpool at Anfield in a short time with a random team. Most of the players in the starting eleven of the team are out of the field due to injury problems, on the other hand, Liverpool are in excellent form and considering all this, the game is at Liverpool's home ground. Actually, it seems to me that how well Real Madrid can perform in this match is a big question. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Real Madrid lose 2-1 to Liverpool in this match. Still, those who will play for Real Madrid are skilled enough, if these players perform at their best considering the absence of good players, then it is possible to create resistance against Liverpool.

For over the past few season's Manchester City under Guardiola's watch, Manchester City has not faced with the kind of result they're getting in the past two - five games of their games, and it will definitely have a psychological effect on both the manager and the players, and affect their performance the more, especially when the taticts that was working perfectly seem not to be working at all, and witnessing your squad hit back to back draws and defeat as seen now, from one lose to one draw to another lose.
People fail to understand that in life whatever has a beginning also has an end. What we are seeing now is the end of of era. Pep Guardiola has led Manchester City to to highest level and just as the force of gravity, it's time to fall down. Check the history of so many top clubs they got to a height and began to lose their too performance. Mancity fans need to accept that the days of winning trophies every season are over. A team that gave out a three-goal advantage to an average European side is facing a serious problem. Pep should leave the club now the ovation is loud.

Manchester City performed admirably last night, but I'm not sure what happened to them to cause their opponents to score three goals when they were already up 3-0. I didn't believe that Manchester City would lose or draw that game, and the worst part is that they were playing at home. Guadiola will regain form if his players return from injury. making the fans feel discourage of watching the game when the fans as already think they have achieved three point already. and at the end they share one point. and this weekend they will play against Liverpool in the Anfield and I think that will still be a tough game for Manchester City to win Liverpool because they are in a better form and topping the league and ucl too. So let see if Liverpool will drop point tonight against Real Madrid but he won't be so easy for Madrid to win tonight, because they are playing in the Anfield and Liverpool players are all in fitness so he will be difficult for Ancelotti to achieve three point tonight.

I am guessing this is the image you're referring to. I was wondering how come about those bruises too when I first saw it last night on ESPN. Could this image really be truth?
Yeah, the image you uploaded having Pep Guardiola having facial marks on his face is true. Pep Guardiola is having self-afflicted injuries on himself with his finger and nail. This comes as the result of Manchester City's poor performance, which Pep Guardiola is not taking any longer because it's beyond him, having his center players absent in matches.

However, Manchester City fans are worried about Pep Guardiola's health. They are advising him to take a break from football, and he also needs help. You can read further here
Pep's key players the only thing that can help him now. He's lost all of his best defenders and world class defensive midfielder. This makes his club's defence looks like shite at this moment. Missing a lot of their competent wingers are also hurting him a lot.

That's why he was doing self-harm. It's such an inappropriate act from him, but i can really understand his frustration. This is caused by when his club took lead with so many goals, yet they ended with a draw in a home game. I might be doing the same if i were him. Hopefully, he gets a bump in the upcoming game.

Sporting was destroyed by the London cannon.  Grin The difference of 4 goals is quite large, it should not have happened. They did not look to have beaten Man City in the previous match. Arsenal managed to stop a series of fantastic Sporting records that are unbeaten in 18 without a losing record. This breaks the record set by Amorim, new coach Joao Pereira is unable to continue the good trend. But I also see something different with Sporting's current game. But outside of Sporting, I see Arsenal playing very well. They played more effectively in the final finish. This is not owned by Sporting with Pereira.
Sporting have lost a good coach which assuming he continues with them, they will go far and if possible win their domestic league but all those dreams have been shattered after Amorim left the club. This was why Arsenal was able to whip their ass mercilessly without reserve.

However, Arsenal are good people and they don't like other clubs outside EPL to embarrass their fellow EPL club, for that reason they have revenged City defeat from Sporting. Arsenal's performance was pretty good yesterday, they have started doing better after the international break.
So you are saying Arsenal dealt with sporting because of what sporting did to Manchester City the last time they met. That's a good point though and sporting will be very careful next time they are meeting an English club. It's so shocking to see how Sporting that were very good against Manchester suddenly became weak yesterday and Arsenal trashed them very well. Just because Amorim left. Now people are seeing how important a coach is to a club, because some people will argue that a coach don't have much influence in a football team, that it is the players that are the ones to determine if a team will perform well or not. Same set of players that played against Manchester City were same players that played against Arsenal, what suddenly went wrong that they couldn't even loss with a lesser scoreline.

Arsenal showed great performance in the match unlike what many of us expected. When Sporting played Manchester City and disgraced them with that four goals to one defeat, it was looking like they were all set to disgrace any team they faced. Little did we knew that their winning against Manchester City was just a consequence of the weakness of City and not that Sporting was too strong. Arsenal confirmed this statement by add one goal to the total goal they scored against Manchester City, thereby clearing the doubt.

I thought Manchester City would win because in the first half they were already 3 goals ahead, and I thought maybe they would add to their goals in the second half. However, they actually had to concede 3 goals so that the match ended in a draw.
They really lost their game in the second half and Feyenoord could take advantage of that to make them able to steal at least 1 point from this match. This has been a very difficult season for Manchester City because they have slipped up repeatedly, even though statistically they could have won the matches they played in the last few matches, but they have had negative results in a row.

After Manchester was leading with three goals, nobody ever thought Feyenoord would be able to equalize. It was a very big surprise when Feyenoord managed to equalize the three goals. It is getting worse for Manchester City as something like this happened, it was a huge disappointment, especially in their home games. I wasn’t expecting much from Manchester City yesterday, as I knew they were not in form. However, I expected them to at least win the game, even with just one goal, considering it was their home match.

At this moment, I don’t know where Manchester City’s problems are coming from. The team’s situation is getting worse day by day. I don’t think it’s only because Rodri and De Bruyne are not in the squad that the team has become this weak. Last season, even when De Bruyne was unavailable for some matches, they played well despite when Rodri is not also present in squad.if Manchester City can lose six games in a row, it shows they are in a very bad situation right now.

If I say Manchester City is in a bad situation and condition, it might not be right.
Manchester City had to accept a draw at home against Feyenoord
To be honest i guess that they are at the moment in a bad situation with not win there games that are playing in the Champions League and also in the Premier League.
Dont know whats going on there in the Team in Manchester City but something is there that effects there playing.
Scoring 3 goals and getting 3 in the second halftime and play at home a draw is bad , lucky that they dont lost this game , that would be a disaster.

Leverkusen being the best of them being able to maintain a clean sheet.
Leverkusen wasnt really in any danger in there match yesterday and played well.

Leverkusen, Arsenal and Atlanta where the teams that really got me impressed and caught my attention so much in yesterday's games,
They all scored more than three goals, Leverkusen being the best of them being able to maintain a clean sheet. In the games today with Liverpool, chances of them winning is slim, but not like they cannot win Real Madrid. They still carry enough attacking threat as Real Madrid does. Mbappe will be starting in the position where Vinicius formerly plays, and he will still offer a lot of threats as Vinicius would if not more from that wing. Any defender that will be tasked with man-marking him will have to be at their best.
Aston Villa playing against Juventus, and I just have the feeling Juventus will win the game.

If I say Manchester City is in a bad situation and condition, it might not be right. Because after all, Manchester City also managed to lead the match with a score of 3-0 but unfortunately, after the score of 3-0 maybe Manchester City felt satisfied and maybe also underestimated Feyenoord in that situation. Thus, Feyenoord managed to make a surprise by making three goals in reply 15 minutes before the match ended.

Obviously, in my assumption maybe Manchester City felt satisfied quickly because of the factor of playing at home too, they really didn't think that every team that plays in the Champions League certainly prepares itself and its team to have a great mentality to get the best results they can get. Manchester City had to accept a draw at home against Feyenoord 3-3 after getting five consecutive defeats, clearly this is a bad result for Manchester City.

And with this current performance the whole thing is affecting pep because I even saw a picture of him having bruises and the rest, I think all those are not necessary his a good coach and he has one of the best strategies and what he fails to understand is that you can not always get what you want as a coach and pep have one personality thay his a kind of person that worries to much, and when you look at their game with Feyenoord they scored three goals first and what pained me the most was the fact that Feyenoord equalizes the three goal back.  And all the attempts that Manchester city were making they were still unable to win, Manchester City were finding difficult this season and it was all as a result of all does injuries, I just hope we get back on our feet as soon as possible, and we have actually archived a lot this season but we just need to be on track, the numbers are not looking good at all on the table imagine we having 23 points this is not a good point at all when Liverpool is already at 31 point.

You are correct. This will affect them very badly because if they want to play match again like they way they have it with Liverpool next month, their hearts will be bleeding with fear. I watched the game throughout the first half and in the second half and I left when they Manchester City scored 3-0 and all my hope was Manchester City has won the game but to my surprised when I came back as 89 minutes with some seconds Feyenoord has scored 3 goals and I was... Manchester City was possessing and controlling and dominating the ball and they had all the powers and skills to defend those 3 goals but they didn't. And with what I have seen. Liverpool will win them. And I don't know what they will do to win that game. Many people lose bet yesterday because as for them, Manchester City was a sure game for gamblers and there was a big disappointment for both the fans and the gamblers.
