Unfortunately Aston Villa failed to make a come back in the game and lost to Monaco last night recording their second loss in the campaign and seeing them drop to 8th position while Monaco move up to 10th position, a win in their next game should be enough to secure straight qualification spot for them. Disappointing result for Aston Villa. We hope they come back stronger in their next and final group stage game to cement their qualification spot.

I’m going to pretend as though I didn’t watch Manchester City game tonight. SMH

At the moment Manchester City is the 1st not qualified team.
Crazy only thing to think at the start of the cup.
Exactly, Man City is a very serious problem. They have even been thrown out of the playoffs qualification zone, and entered the elimination zone on this matchday. They still have 1 last chance on the last matchday 8, against Club Brugge. However, if everything does not change, then it will also be bad for Man City.

Maybe it's common for some clubs to be thrown into the elimination round and not enter the last 16 qualification. But this is Man City, once a champion, and even at the beginning of the season, Man City was still paired with Real Madrid as the top favorite club to win the UCL. But now?

Bayern Munich's 3-0 defeat was certainly a surprising result or perhaps, an extraordinary comeback for PSG was also an impressive result. Because after all, PSG not only managed to turn things around in the match against Manchester City, but PSG also managed to return  to the top 24 and PSG also managed to make Manchester City outside the top 24 at this time. But even so, Manchester City still has a chance to finish in the top 24, because Manchester City's last match will be played at home against Club Brugge. But yes,  considering their current position, then of course Club Brugge will also do their best later to be able to maintain their position to enter the play-off round.

1 game to go, did they will miss it?
Probably not even if the pressure it will be massive.

Today's match results,

Arsenal vs Dinamo Zagreb (Arsenal over 2.5) 3-0 Win
Real Madrid vs Salzburg (BTTS) 5-1 Win
PSG vs Manchester City (City win) 4-2 Loss
Feyenoord vs Bayern Munich (BTTS) 3-0 Loss
Milan vs Girona (BTTS) 1-0 Loss
Sparta vs Inter Milan (BTTS) 0-1 Loss

What I feared happened in the defeat of Man City and Munich. Such a painful defeat for the big team. Maybe for Munich this is not a problem because its position is still safe to qualify for the play-off round. But Man City is still very doubtful to qualify if its performance is still like this. But I think in the UCL currently using a new system makes it difficult to predict the big teams. And at least seeing Madrid and Arsenal's victory is very enjoyable.

When it seems like Manchester City is back then they come up with another disaster. City were expected to beat PSG in today's game. Manchester City inconsistency keeps on going.
I watched the game and I still see lots of loop holes in the Manchester City defense although they have signed new players I still believe the issue is more of tactics than players.
Manchester City are surely not back to their full form. They’ve been managing to come up with one or two wins in between games but, not well enough to attain some consistency. Hence, having to hope or expect them to win against PSG would be expecting so much of them which shouldn’t be. PSG was clearly the dominant side from the half, you wouldn’t almost expect them to win this game, especially with them playing from the home side. I wasn’t entirely surprised at the outcome, had hoped both teams would find their way to scoring and they did, just a little more than expected and all in the second half. They are just good at these kind of surprises.

Manchester City are in serious trouble, this is the worst season ever for our pay cheque coach Pep, his team seems to be experiencing what they have never experienced before. I can't even count again how many times City were in a pool position of winning a game but later either plays draw or loses the match, it's really surprising for a formidable team like City to be playing like this.

I was not lucky about the game between Lille and Liverpool because when I saw the good rates for this game I was hoping to see a miracle from Lille and give us a good reward because of taking a good risk but in the end, Liverpool won the game with a 2-1 result however I thin Lille could try hard and use the chances they had to win this match or at least get a draw.

Other than the result of this match Liverpool lost their player, Curtis Jones. Curtis Jones made the assist for Salah and he scored the first goal in this match but unfortunately, this English player got injured and he couldn't continue the game which made the team worried because they had a hard race in the Premier League.

City got humiliated and now have their chances hanging on a thread as they must make sure to win their ne t game and hope the team next to them at same point does loose their game els their chance may be jeopardised. Arsenal's victory tonight further propels them to have a perfect qualification to the next stage of the champions league,  this happens to be their first champions league game they are winning by 3 goals to nill this season.  So far they happen to be the strongest England representative along side Liverpool as they have not lost a champions league game this season.

Real Madrid got easy win from Salzburg today that playing at Santiago Bernabéu Real Madrid can leading the game when the match entered 23 minutes in the first half by Rodrygo goal and today Rodrygo and Vinicius can make a brace plus one more goal from Mbappe which make Real Madrid can win the match with the final scores 5-1 so this is predictable result because Real Madrid quality is far above to Salzburg and with this result Real Madrid can collect 12 points with their current position lifted up to 16th place i think Real Madrid still have a chance to finish at top 8 but probably their final position on League phase will be determined on week 8
Mbappe's goal was admirable, he followed the ball and made the opponent make a mistake, he worked so hard for the goal, Mbappe continues to score goals. Mbappe, who does everything to score a goal, is coming back. Bellingham had legendary passes in the match.

A comfortable evening for Real Madrid, they scored 4 goals and sat back, Salzburg scored a goal when they were about to sit back, but it was no problem, the match was guaranteed.

Recap of the results of today 7th match, there are some surprises where Bayern Munich fell to Feyenoord, Man City was defeated by PSG where this match was according to my expectations for PSG to eliminate Man City. Then Real Madrid big win was very easy to achieve, there were no surprises from Salzburg, everything was under the control of the host even though in the 85th minute Salzburg managed to score 1 goal but the situation still gave positive results for Madrid.

This is one of the best UCL week games. Every team that was supposed to win today had their chance and won except Bayern. Although even before now I don't have much expectation from Bayern in this game. My reason is that Feyernord is good at scoring goals, whether you a big team or not they don't mess with each goal opportunity. That is why in this game I was wise enough to bet on Fyernord to score just one goal not knowing they can score up to 3 goals.

Manchester City also left a big blow on the face of their fans. After jubilating for the 2-goal lead against PSG they lost still before the game ended 2 goals down. Arsenal had a wonderful night at the Emirate, it was an easy win for them with Kai Havert scoring another Champions League goal for Arsenal.

The result from the Champions league game came as a surprise, the win against Bayern was never talked about from the start, i was focused on PSG Vs Manchester City so i did not bother knowing how they mismanaged to control the game losing by three goals in a Champions league match, not a good one for the team even if they are still in the race.
The most surprising match today is PSG VS Manchester city, I never believed Manchester City will concede 4 goals after. Manchester City scored their first two goals at the beginning of the second half, and I was so sure that Manchester city will be able to get a win in the match, but to my greatest surprise, they conceded four goals later. I stopped watching the match, immediately Manchester City scored their second goal, and I was thinking the match has been won by Manchester City, but I was just surprised when I decided to check the final result of the match on my phone, and I notice that Manchester City lost the match.

Manchester city performance is just kind of poor this season, they have been able to win some clubs in the premier league lately, and some people were thinking they are back to form, but as we can see, they are not really back to form, they were able to win those matches because they played against weaker teams. Am just disappointed in Manchester city today.

PSG are even more attacking than Manchester City, it's obvious they are winning because they are hanging on by a thread from exiting the tournament, I doubt Manchester City will equalise at the end of the match given the way they are playing at the moment. At the moment even a draw won't save them because they will remain in the relegation zone. If Manchester City fall out of the Champions League it will be a furore

Manchester City is just a finished club because how on earth could they be leading by 2 goals just for Paris Saint German to equalize and still won the game in the end. It's really disheartening that after Manchester City showed improvements in their recent Premier League games and as a result, people had belief in them to win PSG but it seems like they may be ending their Champions League journey earlier that it should have been which will really be a very bad experience for an elite Club like Manchester City. Can't believe that Manchester City finally lost the match by a score of 4:2, how porous their defense is to have allowed PSG to penetrate them so easily and have their way around.
I don't agree that Manchester City is a finish club, remember yesterday benfica where initially leading Barca, Barca came behind and later won that game 5-4 and that's football for you. if you watch the game critically you observe that when PSG scored that first goal making it 2-1, they immediately increased their pressure on Manchester City and I have noticed that Manchester City currently don't have the capacity to withstand much pressure as hence the pressure is coming, there is high likelihood that they are going to concede more, they don't have the technique that they used to fight back or stop a seemingly intense pressure that is coming from an opponent. Although giving the way things are right now with Manchester City, am beginning to think that the marital issues of Pep Guardiola has in one way or the others Snow balled into affecting the psychology of the Coach and thereby extending it to the team but i don't believe they are finished, they still have that capacity, Guardiola just need to take out time to harness it properly.
If pep marital issues are in anyway affecting him, he should take a break for few weeks and hand over to his assistant. He should go clear his mind and not make his team suffer. There's nobody that something like that will happen to,  that won't feel the impacts physically or psychologically. People close to him should advice him to take some weeks out. I agree with you that Manchester city is not finished. There's no team in the world that doesn't suffer setbacks at one point or the other. It's just football and there's nothing we can do about it. That Bayern Munich lost 3:0 to Feyenoord today doesn't mean that they are finished.  So it's just one of those things that happens in football. PSG were more determined, they saw this match as their only hope of moving up the table, so they utilised their chances very well.

By the way, Man City must win the latest match in UCL league phase to return to plays off zone. They will play against Club Brugge in matchday 8. I don't expect Man City to miss 3 points in this match.

Sucks to be Mancity FR , I don't know what they were thinking after the first two goals.. now it's 4-2 giving a win to PSG , a draw could have been much more better for them to hold onto but not anymore... wth is wrong with the team .
Hence, If they can't  win PSG how will they win Club Brugge because  they will also be in same state of trying to protect themselves from getting dropped out  of the race, though  they look weak a little but with what happened  tonight anyway can take on Mancity  Tongue and get a win .

Manchester City right now is in big trouble because something is not going well with the team, they are currently losing against any team and tonight they had an opportunity to secure a 2:2 draw against PSG but they messed everything up as they allowed 2 goals into their net to make the game 4:2. This is the time we expect the manager to do something because they can't be losing importance matches all the time and with this loss it will be difficult game for them to escape Club Brugge in their next encounter, Manchester City is already a weak team right now it will take the team time to come to good performance again because right now they can't be a strong opponent to any one.

This loss will hurt Manchester City so bad. They need to win in the last round against Club Brugge and pray that other teams dont win that it goes their way. I dont know how you lose after leading 0-2 this shows that Manchester City is still in problems and even a big win against Ipswich couldnt make them go on a winning streak

Objectively speaking, the 2-goal advantage that City had was not achieved in the logical course of the game, it was a big accident. But PSG still managed to overcome bad luck and make the score in their favor. Added time is already underway (for some reason the referee added only 3 minutes) and I think that 3-2 is the final score. The result was expected, but the way it all happened turns this into another failure for City.
There was another controversial goal and I bet you many people didn't know that the match ended 4:2 in favour of PSG. The last goal was disallowed for offside but VAR allowed the goal and it seems that the giants of England are out of the prestigious championship league.

Please someone should put me to order because I'm not so conversant with the new champions league format. Is Manchester city official out of the champions League as they are neither I'm the blue zone or the sky blue zone.

The final 8th round of the group stage is ahead. City will play Club Brugge at home and they only need a win to get into the top 24 and get into the preliminary playoffs (rights for reaching the 1/8 finals, where the first eight clubs get in automatically).
As you can see, everything is in City's hands, unfortunately they are not yet delegated, it is unlikely that Brugge will be able to make a sensation, but I will hope for it.

While I was so much focused on Manchester City Vs PSG, I didn't know Bayern Munich was being roasted by an average club. I didn't watch the match and don't understand how Feyenoord would win Bayern Munich by such a high margin. I don't know if it's the power of home advantage.

In the match of Manchester city Vs PSG, Dembele actually showed alot of capacity and I admired him and other team members. This could be the perfect squad that PSG needs and not over squad.
But Manchester City lossing from 2 goals lead advantage is not a good record for Guardiola

I think the biggest surprise of the day was Feyenoord beating Bayern 3-0, as Bayern was a pretty big favourite in that game, with odds of x1.37 (x7.50 for Feyenoord).

But it's not like they played horribly bad, the game stats show they were dominating:

But maybe it's just due to Feyenoord taking a defensive strategy after taking the lead in the 21st minute.

Bayern are playing Slovan Bratislava on Wed (the last game of the league stage) which should be an easy 3 points, but probably won't be enough to avoid playoffs.

Why do you seem surprised? It's not like it is the first time we see things like this happen in football. Yesterday Barcelona was losing from 3 goals down and they came back winning the game with 4:3. My dear this is football until the game has ended anything can happen while it is still game time. In my observation today Manchester City was too reluctant after scoring the two games. And what i noticed again was that sometimes we need to experience a failure so that we can know what winning is and win by all means.

I saw a different game from PSG immediately they realize they are losing 2 null. Now they kept on pressing the attack but this time with more logic to the game. If there were more game time trust PSG would have scored more goals.
