Meanwhile, PSG also beat Man City in last night's match, it was really beyond my expectations because initially I thought Man City had started to improve and could possibly play well but Man City's performance was still very bad and now their position is out of the play-off zone, the last match against Brugge will be the decider for Man City in the UCL.

The result of this match was actually what I thought. Because from the start I didn't dare to take the risk of favoring one of the teams. because the match is predicted to be fierce. So from the start I just expected there to be lots of goals in this match and both teams scored goals. And apparently it worked.

But it is quite sad to see Man City experiencing failure this season in the UCL. and I actually thought this team had improved again. It's just that because they have been inconsistent this season, it would not be surprising if they ended up losing in the UCL this season. Even though there is 1 match remaining, I think hope is very slim. Because if Man City wants to qualify for the play-offs, Man City must win the last match and also hope that one of these teams, namely Benfica, PSG, Sporting and VfB, will lose in the last match. And that will be difficult to make happen.

Bayern Munic have lost the respect many people had for them tonight. It was a very bad performance by the German champions who could not score one goal against a smaller team like Feyenoord. Even the bookies gave Bayern Munic ordinary 1.33 odds which shows they felt that Bayern Munic will win them without much stress. Assuming I knew the match will turn out this way, I would have simply played Feyenoord to score which a verry decent odd on its own.
Seeing Man City lose to PSG is not at all surprising because at least Man City also managed to score 2 goals against PSG which gave PSG serious resistance. but seeing Bayern lose with a landslide score of 3-0 really made me amazed. And what makes this result funny is because Feyenoord only had 20% possession of the ball, while Bayern had 80% possession of the ball with 30 shots. It seems like Bayern were too focused on attacking and they underestimated the opponent's counterattack which made Bayern have to go home full of regrets. . Fortunately, Bayern is still in a fairly safe position in the current UCL rankings. So this time's defeat does not put Bayern out of the play-off zone.

After experiencing consecutive defeats in 6 matches in the UCL, Leipzig was finally able to win the 7th match against Sporting but even so it was quite late because he could not improve his position to be in the play-off zone even if he won his last match it was useless for them so I think Leipzig had to swallow the bitter reality of not qualifying for the next round.

City got humiliated and now have their chances hanging on a thread as they must make sure to win their ne t game and hope the team next to them at same point does loose their game els their chance may be jeopardised. Arsenal's victory tonight further propels them to have a perfect qualification to the next stage of the champions league,  this happens to be their first champions league game they are winning by 3 goals to nill this season.  So far they happen to be the strongest England representative along side Liverpool as they have not lost a champions league game this season.
Arsenal should have scored more than just the three goals that they got because through out the game, they rarely let Dinamo Zagreb rest, constantly poaching and asking questions. When the first goal came in that early by Declan Rice, I got so excited and predicted that the first half would produce a lot of goals. At least five but weren't able to do it and it's not as if the defense of the visitors were that strong but rather the Arsenal players just kept wasting their chances.

Arsenal have lost in this tournament to Inter Milan and it was by a lone goal from a Henrikh Mkhitayan penalty.
Yeah, they had 17 shots with 4 on the target but Dinamo Zagreb only struggled to get 5 with zero hitting the target, that show that Arsenal where in charge of the game, I also checked the possession and the margin is much 63/37, no wonder Dinamo couldn't hit the target not even for once, the match must have been so frustrating for them.

I think Declan Rice have become a very important asset for Arsenal since he joined from Westham, if Arsenal are to win the EPL trophy in the near future, I think Declan Rice's effort would play a big role in making that possible, he's a fantastic player to watch and one of the finest England has produced good for Arsenal that they got him in their squad.

I'm really very disappointed with Manchester City because in the match against PSG, Manchester City had to be willing to accept defeat with a score of 4-2 because PSG to win. Manchester City scored first through Grealish and Haaland but unfortunately Manchester City couldn't defend their goal so that they didn't concede, so in the end PSG was able to score more goals against Manchester City and in the end PSG won with a proud score.

in this match I bet on Manchester City winning because I am sure Manchester City will be able to make PSG lose because in their last match Manchester city was good which made me conclude that Manchester City will be able to make PSG lose but yes of course this is football and of course anything and surprises always happens. At that time, in my opinion, Pep was less alert because he was already 2 goals ahead of PSG, even though in my opinion the defense had to be tighter so that it would be difficult for PSG to put the ball into Manchester City's goal. But yes, of course I am aware that Manchester City's performance has not been consistently good and of course as a result of the defeat in this match Manchester City had to drop down to 28th place, this really makes Manchester City fans very sad. but I want to know if you here predicted PSG would win before their match started? but yes, I want to congratulate PSG for their success against Pep's troops and their game was really impressive.

That's football, it's not easy to predict, especially when big teams meet. In the second half Manchester City was already leading 0-2, which previously throughout the first half both teams were unable to score and two goals were scored in less than five minutes, which I think was a good job for Manchester City.

However, PSG was much better because 4 goals were scored in less than five minutes too, Manchester City played fast but PSG was much faster in attacking and it was just that Manchester City's defense was very bad.

And when Manchester City scored two goals in the first half and saw PSG playing well and also controlling the ball I thought the result would be a draw and Manchester City would strengthen their defense considering that PSG kept trying to attack to score goals but what happened was PSG was able to turn things around and the score ended 4-2, and Manchester City still had the last chance against Club Brugge which is currently above Manchester City in the standings and Club Brugge is currently in 20th position and Manchester City is in 25th position in the standings and Club Brugge is not an easy opponent.

I would not be surprised if they lost in this match but what surprised me was when Manchester City led 2 goals but they lost even though their confidence should increase and play defensively after 53 minutes of the match running. If we see the chance of Manchester City to go to the next round is very small this means they need a miracle but to take place in the playoffs I think there is still a possibility.
I see there is a change in strategy implemented by PSG after conceding 2 goals. PSG appeared more pressing, and I saw that some players switched positions more to the front, and in the other side, The City still continued to attack and forgot their defense. That gap was implementing PSG to penetrate to deeper. Seem like Luis Enrique understands very well how Pep's style plays. Pep should be change immediately their strategy to more defense after PSG balances the score, but there is no change, Pep still continued it and disaster happens after Neves created fantastic goal.

Now their chance to advance to the Playoffs is very difficult. they have to win the last match, but expects the others club lose.

Who initially made Manchester City the favorites to win? Now they have to realize how slim their chances of qualifying for the play-offs are. This is a big blow for Pep Guardiola where the Champions League is a competition full of mystery. PSG played very well, solid and were able to maintain their stability in pressing the opponent's defense. Don't forget Bayern Munich had to be made unable to score goals by Feyenoord players who for more than 90 minutes did not get many opportunities but when there were opportunities they were able to take advantage of them perfectly.

Are you asking of the favourite to win the match or the competition? I think for the competition many people actually rated Manchester city to go all the way to win when the season started and this was simply because of how brilliant Manchester city has been in the last three seasons they were literally the only team that could stop clubs like Real Madrid from winning the champions league and it was a fair comparison to me to even rate them as title contenders.

If the question though was for this match I will also say it was certainly a mix call between many, Manchester City have been poor all season and actually even started to pick form of recent and that’s why some of fans actually predicted as favourite coupled with the facts that the opponents PSG have been very poor this season in the champions league and needed a win to even think of getting through and luckily they capitalize on Manchester City poor form

I think the biggest surprise of the day was Feyenoord beating Bayern 3-0, as Bayern was a pretty big favourite in that game, with odds of x1.37 (x7.50 for Feyenoord).

But it's not like they played horribly bad, the game stats show they were dominating:

Bayern were completely ruined by their own rhythm where they dominated very well in today's match but they were chaotic when the rhythm they actually wanted to do was read and utilized well by Feyernoord in today's match.

Feyenoord knew a good momentum in utilizing fast counter-attacks which became a disaster for Bayern because they seemed unprepared and difficult to anticipate something like this so they were destroyed with a score that was quite striking in their intimidating condition since the whistle.

This was definitely another surprise in week 7, another surprise for me was Mancehster City losing by a sizable score as well because I thought that this match might only be a draw or a narrow 1-goal win for one of the clubs.

This loss will hurt Manchester City so bad. They need to win in the last round against Club Brugge and pray that other teams dont win that it goes their way. I dont know how you lose after leading 0-2 this shows that Manchester City is still in problems and even a big win against Ipswich couldnt make them go on a winning streak

This will be a direct battle between Man City and Club Brugge. Man City has a better goal difference so if they win they will overtake them. Funny thing with 11 points you arent safe and before the champions league started with this new format everyone said 9 points was enough. I think Man City will win this match against Club Brugge or it will be the biggest shock this season for Man City to get knocked out.

But maybe it's just due to Feyenoord taking a defensive strategy after taking the lead in the 21st minute.

Bayern are playing Slovan Bratislava on Wed (the last game of the league stage) which should be an easy 3 points, but probably won't be enough to avoid playoffs.

When it seems like Manchester City is back then they come up with another disaster. City were expected to beat PSG in today's game. Manchester City inconsistency keeps on going.
I watched the game and I still see lots of loop holes in the Manchester City defense although they have signed new players I still believe the issue is more of tactics than players.
Manchester City are in serious trouble, this is the worst season ever for our pay cheque coach Pep, his team seems to be experiencing what they have never experienced before. I can't even count again how many times City were in a pool position of winning a game but later either plays draw or loses the match, it's really surprising for a formidable team like City to be playing like this.

PSG managed to take advantage of the home game well, surprisingly they managed to beat Manchester City dramatically. After being two goals down, Luis Enrique squad managed to equalize within seven minutes. Manchester City defense line looked very porous, and towards the last match PSG managed to turn things around which made the match end 4-2. Looking at the course of the match, Manchester City seemed to have lost their identity, they failed to dominate possession.

PSG broke a number of predictions by playing beyond expectations. Luis Enrique showed his genius in formulating strategies and reading Manchester City weaknesses. This defeat is clearly a serious problem for Manchester City and especially for Pep Guardiola, their journey to the last 16 will likely fail. In my opinion, this season is Manchester City worst period under Pep Guardiola leadership.

At the moment Manchester City is the 1st not qualified team.
Crazy only thing to think at the start of the cup.

1 game to go, did they will miss it?
Probably not even if the pressure it will be massive.

Is clear that they are not yet back in their form because they lack consistency, this game against PSG I was thinking that City would rubbish PSG but the game was against City. I wonder how they are going to manage with the Blues this weekend and is like from fry pan to fire. We know Chelsea are still trying to get that chance of getting close to the league leaders in the EPL even if the manager is still deceiving himself that they are not and we could see how desperate they are playing every week and Man City are still going to struggle to get something out of this encounter, I'd go for a Chelsea win.

Unfortunately Aston Villa failed to make a come back in the game and lost to Monaco last night recording their second loss in the campaign and seeing them drop to 8th position while Monaco move up to 10th position, a win in their next game should be enough to secure straight qualification spot for them. Disappointing result for Aston Villa. We hope they come back stronger in their next and final group stage game to cement their qualification spot.

I’m going to pretend as though I didn’t watch Manchester City game tonight. SMH

Exactly, Man City is a very serious problem. They have even been thrown out of the playoffs qualification zone, and entered the elimination zone on this matchday. They still have 1 last chance on the last matchday 8, against Club Brugge. However, if everything does not change, then it will also be bad for Man City.

Maybe it's common for some clubs to be thrown into the elimination round and not enter the last 16 qualification. But this is Man City, once a champion, and even at the beginning of the season, Man City was still paired with Real Madrid as the top favorite club to win the UCL. But now?

Bayern Munich's 3-0 defeat was certainly a surprising result or perhaps, an extraordinary comeback for PSG was also an impressive result. Because after all, PSG not only managed to turn things around in the match against Manchester City, but PSG also managed to return  to the top 24 and PSG also managed to make Manchester City outside the top 24 at this time. But even so, Manchester City still has a chance to finish in the top 24, because Manchester City's last match will be played at home against Club Brugge. But yes,  considering their current position, then of course Club Brugge will also do their best later to be able to maintain their position to enter the play-off round.
