Lots of goals in the Champions League matches yesterday. Atletico, Arsenal, Leverkusen and Atalanta completely destroyed their opponents.
The crisis in Manchester City continues, but Haaland keeps scoring. There's a problem in City's defense. Receiving 3 goals in the last 15 minutes shows that the Manchester City players had lost their confidence. Maybe they should talk to a psychiatrist. Grin
Anyway, Real-Liverpool is going to be the match of the day. I can't see a clear favorite here, even though Real seems to be better in theory.
All the other matches simply aren't interesting to me. Even Aston Villa-Juventus seems kinda boring.
Man City's defenders really looked like players filled with panic in the second half after Feyenoord scored the first goal. I don't think they're usually like that. But in this match they really showed that they have a mentality that is not that strong.

Man City has conceded 17 goals in just 6 matches. And this clearly indicates that there is a big problem in Man City's defense. Sporting CP managed to score 4 goals against Man City and Tottenham also did the same thing in the Premier League, namely Tottenham scored 4 goals against Man City. And yesterday Feyenoord scored 3 goals in a short time in the second half. So, it's clear that the problem is at the back.

And in today's match Real Madrid will face Liverpool. And we know that Real Madrid actually has the same problem with their defense.

I didn't watching the match but i saw the live scores and after leading the game 3-0 confidently i says Manchester City will gets easy win from this match but i have checked again the final scores and it was very surprising Feyenoord can equalized the scores and i am not Manchester City fans but i do understand what they feel because i am sure they will be very dissapoint with this result however i just start to thinking Probably Guardiola has starting to frustrate this because since October Manchester City never tasted the winning results and next match also would be so difficult for Manchester City because they will fight against Liverpool at Anfield and if Manchester City lost then i am sure the fans will starting to says Guardiola out

I don't understand what's going on with them, I also thought that this time they shouldn't let the victory slip away, the score was 3-1 then, but apparently the team is under emotional pressure, because for such a team to play 6 games without a win is too much. And their opponents weren't so tough that they couldn't win a single game. It will also be a very tough match with Liverpool, I still think that City is one of the few teams that can beat Liverpool now, but given their condition, they will have to try really hard.

I agree that Manchester City has not been playing well lately. They are having trouble defending and have not been winning their games including game against Feyenoord that ended in tie. It is surprising to see strong team like Manchester City having so much trouble improving their game.
Manchester City was performing very well at the start of the UEFA Champions League but suddenly they started to perform poorly. Manchester City's defensive players are weak at the moment due to which they are not able to win matches even against weaker teams. In today's match between Manchester City and Feyenoord, Manchester City led 3-0, but unfortunately they drew the match.
Quote
I think players need to try harder and coach needs to come up with new plan if they want to start winning again. If they do not make some changes it is possible that they can not make it to next round of Champions League and Premier League this season.
No matter how many new plans the coach makes and no matter how many players are changed, if the players don't perform properly then everything may fail. So Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola should select players who are good defenders and midfielders. Then maybe this team will once again become the strong team it was before.

Usually the mentality of Man City players is always strong. But this season they do look different and well, in terms of mentality, they seem to lack motivation and it seems like they also panic more easily and lose their cool when the opposing team manages to create a surprise, such as returning a goal. I really don't understand Man City this season. They look very different from Man City last season. Pep Guardiola seems to have lost his ability to revive the team he coaches. The draw result was truly unexpected. Because Man City has also been far superior from the start. But the first goal scored by Feyenoord in the 75th minute really changed the situation there. And it has really made Man City lose the solidity of their game. With this, Man City has never won in the last 6 matches. And this clearly indicates that Man City is not doing well.
Manchester city defense needs total overhauling, the only defender that's worth keeping is Josko Vardiol. And Ruben Dias. The defence are giving out goals very easily. Defense has really been the issue with Manchester city this season. It's just so unfortunate that Pep thought his defence were still very strong that made him not to recruit any defender during the summer. The rate of goals they are conceiving this season alone is too much. That's a clear indication that Manchester city defense is in complete shambles. The draw against Feyenoord has completely shown that Manchester city is in a deep mess completely. Feyenoord is too small as a club to come back from 3 goals down forced a draw at Etihad stadium. Had there been more time left, they might have pushed for the win. Pep need to reinforce his defence by January. The time has arrived to let some old players go, let fresh legs come in. The bad results are becoming too much.
It cannot be denied that in this match, especially in the second half, we really saw that Man City's defense was easily penetrated by the opponent's attacks. Ederson even had to move quite far away from the goal. Because all the defenders have been passed by the opponent. I think recruiting several defenders is indeed a good idea that Man City should do in the next transfer market. because seeing how weak Man City was at the back in this match made us quite surprised. But if the Man City players were in a better mental condition then I don't think they would make mistakes that make their defense look weak. Unfortunately the first goal from the opponent destroyed the mentality of the Man City players in that match. Or it could be because the Man City players were too confident that they would win the match so they were careless and their opponents took advantage of the opportunity.

Is anyone seeing this?? Roll Eyes Man City who were leading by three goals have gone on to rest on their attack and conceded three goals! How can a team who have boasted of a firm defense for a long time be this loose to the point that a club like Feyenoord is having a comeback? OMG! Guardiola is officially finished!!

I think tonight's score was the last warning for him to come to his senses. He just extended his contract and he's here for three more years. So Pep needs to shake himself up. He's never had a period like this before in his career. After 5 defeats in a row, it's a really big shock to draw with a 3 goal lead just when they were winning. I think he will pick up the team after these shock scores. I wouldn't want to be in the dressing room and in the team meeting tomorrow. Grin
I also don't understand what happened to their performance lately even though we know Manchester City is a tough club so far whether in the EPL or in the UCL. I think Pep Guardiola's tactics have begun to be read by any club and his opponents can find Man City's weaknesses that have caused this club to experience bad results lately. Feyenoord's comeback was quite surprising, they were able to equalize in just 15 minutes, Man City's defense this time was really careless.

PSG didn't play that badly that everyone expected and could have drawn the game if it wasn't for Dembele, who received a completely inappropriate and unnecessary red card. We can also say that if it wasn't for Safonov's mistake on the way out, Bayern wouldn't have scored a goal, but Safonov then made a couple of great saves after a great shot by Musiala. In general, except for Musiala and Kane in the Bayern squad no one was memorable, they almost did not attack on the flanks, Coman and Gnabry was very weak and in general it is unclear why they came to the match. So far Bayern are not impressive last games.

Feynord scored three goals in the final minutes to rewrite several records, it is the first time when the team losing 0:3 by 75 minutes to win back in the Champions League, and also the first time when it happens at the Etihad.
As a result, it was another disappointing match for City and it's good that they didn't concede 4 goals at the end and at least drew and managed to win one point.

What a night for the cityzens! Like, who would have believed this result was gonna be possible! After leading with 3 goals ahead in a game, I for ones has concluded it was a walk in the park victory tonight for Manchester city only to watch Feyenoord coming from behind in the second half fighting with everything they've got and in a grand style denied City full 3 points by taking the game to a 3:3 stalemate draw.  It's so amazing and at same time worrisome for me about City's performances this season both in the EPL and the champions league.
Seems Pep Guardiola's tactics are no more working, because we can't continue to lean on the excuse that Rodri's absence in the team is the reason behind this failing performance of 6 times consecutive loss in a row for Manchester city, something isn't just right.

I think it's high time Gardiola take a deep breath and revisit his tactics before it gets too late for City this season in even finishing for top four in the EPL because I don't see them having much chance of qualifying for the next round of the UCL with this awful performance.

This had nothing to do with tactics. When the game was finished I had to watch the replay because I couldn't imagine how this could happen. Everyone who saw those goals knows what I am talking about, it was a shit show by his team. The first goal was a brutal mistake by a defender where he passed the ball straight to the Feyenoord striker who then ran past the goalkeeper and kicked it into the back of the net.

Second goal was similar to that. Big mistake by Manchester City, Feyenoord played a cross ball to the second post, player took it volley, hit the post and it dropped in front of a Feyenoord striker who then scored the goal with his breast...

Third goal was a long ball to a Feyenoord player and the Man City goalkeeper runs out, wrongly estimates the length and the pace of the ball, jumps past it while Feyenoord crosses the ball into the box with the goal being empty and then they scored the header.

It wasn't tactics, it was the team that lost this game and Guardiola was in shock like your picture shows. I can understand if he freaked out after the game and screamed at those idiots who gave this game away for free. There is nothing you can do about these things as a coach but hope that they won't repeat it.
What are we saying? We both stating same problems here. This is same team/players he has been using in getting his back to back wins in the premier league and even in the champions league. This team gave him the treble wins dominating the EPL with a back to back trophy wins. But having this humiliating losses without a single win in 6 games isn't anything we ever envisioned with Manchester city under Gardiola which is why I strongly believe he needs to revisit his tactics.

Revisiting his tactics isn't just limited to the actions on the field it does also extend to working on the psychology of his boys building their confidence back on track, the way they played last night seems as though the losses has gotten a better part of them thereby affecting their ability to win games. Else how do you explain how they get to lose out a match they are already winning with a three goal margin in second half. The City of four previous seasons ago would have rather increase their goals than conceiving.

It's inexplicable from whence the problem really emanating from, but something is not  just right with the team. Recently it was said to be KDB absence, now it's Rodri as excuse. Just in case you not aware, Manchester city second eleven is better than the first  X1 of some of the teams in the champions league. For a great and veteran coach like Pep Gardiola with so much experience in the industry the absence of one player shouldn't be a big deal that they start losing important points in such number in a row.

M.City has not won in the last 5 matches, 1 Draw - 4 Losses

I was expecting a winning from Bayern Munich yesterday against PSG because a PSG player got a red card yesterday which is going to give Bayern Munich confidence to play well and score 3 goals in the match, Bayern Munich scored a single goal in the match and it was since Dembele has not received the red card, so that means if Dembele did not get the red card that means PSG might equalize and draw the game, I have said it before that Bayern Munich performance in Champion League is not good and yesterday game show it again.

The surprise game yesterday was Manchester City against Feyenoord, to be honest, I didn't expect Manchester City to draw the game, I was expecting a straight winning, Manchester City won the match 3-0 and before the match ended Feyenoord scored goals and made it draw which stop Manchester City from having 3 points, let be honest with ourselves, Manchester City problem is not Rodri, I think Manchester City are weak and they don't have that kind of experience of winning matches because I don't see a big team like leading from 3-0 and later concede goals draw the game, it is a very disgrace performance yesterday.

Some big games were played yesterday, apart from the match between Munich and PSG, of course the match between Arsenal and Sporting is the most impressive match in my opinion, besides that Leverkusen managed to show good performance by destroy salzburg  and Milan representatives after their poor form at the beginning of the season seems to be starting to rise after continuing the winning trend against Slovan, as well as Barcelona who I think can start to be the favorite in the Champions League Currently after achieving positive results from Brest, while Manchester City, I don't know when their slump will end with a series of negative results, but to be honest, among all the existing matches, I personally prefer to watch the Munich vs PSG match because the two teams are two big teams that have the status of the top of the standings in their respective leagues,  and as we predicted earlier, PSG are still continuing their poor trend in the Champions League at the moment and making their chances of qualifying for the round of 16 even more difficult later.

For a moment in that match, it think Sporting Lisbon's players would be very sad that Ruben Amorin is not their present coach and  believe if he were presently coaching them, Arsenal won't had beat them so  badly at home, that scoreline is very horrible and Sporting players would be very disappointed at themselves. I'm not an Arsenal fan but I'm so proud of them cause of my love for the EPL they really impressed everyone by defeating Sporting Lisbon at home, a team that embarrassed Manchester City in their previous meeting. Talking about Manchester City, who else feel that their era is gradually coming to an end, they've not really been performing well recently and it's something Pep Guardiola should worry about cause fan would begin to lose hope in him if nothing is don't to restore their form. As for the Match between Bayern Munich and PSG, I had more hope on Bayern than PSG cause their form is far better than PSG's moreover they needed to win so bad, coupled with the home advantage. Leverkusen really tried to, they played well and deserved the victory.

3 points from PSG are enough for Bayern Munich and this defeat makes thing worse for PSG. They must win this match and now they lost it to Bayern Munich, and lose big or small, it's not too important.

All big teams got good results, except PSG and Manchester City, other teams like Arsenal, Atalanta, AC Milan, Bayer Leverkusen and Inter Milan got three points and some even won big. PSG, two seasons after said goodbye to Messi, Neymar, Ramos, and in the latest summer they let Mbappe moving to Real Madrid, now become like a small club in Champions League. It's contrasting to their performances and domination in their domestic league, Ligue 1. Perhaps their main problem is not player quality, that decreases certainly, but their mentality which is weak.

It was unexpected, but this is what happened. I never expected the final result to be 3-3 after Manchester City had previously led 3-0, conceding 3 goals in the last 15 minutes of the match indicates that the mentality of Manchester City players is not yet completely stable after achieving bad results in several previous matches. They were not prepared to withstand the onslaught from Feyenoord and let the first goal in easily, the situation became more difficult after the visitors managed to reduce the deficit before finally managing to close out the match with a draw.
Manchester City players are not as strong as before, they panic too quickly and lose control which makes it difficult for them to control the game, in my opinion this factor is what makes Manchester City have difficulty winning in their last five matches.
Usually the mentality of Man City players is always strong. But this season they do look different and well, in terms of mentality, they seem to lack motivation and it seems like they also panic more easily and lose their cool when the opposing team manages to create a surprise, such as returning a goal. Wtf is really going on at the Etihad???

We all expected this game to be a win for City especially that they were playing from home and to add salt to injury these guys had started from the front with a 3 goal lead up unto the 75th minute Huh But to throw three goals away is criminal, I can bet anybody that wagered $10 even for a draw at this point should have made over 10K dollars here...whatever is happening needs to be addressed as soon as possible!!!
Nobody expected what happened, Manchester City was already 3 goals ahead before Feyenoord finally managed to equalize and I didn't see that from the 3 goals created by Feyenoord because they played better, I actually saw that Man City played very badly in the last 25 minutes of the match, especially after Pep Guardiola made 3 substitutions simultaneously in the 70th minute, I think that was the beginning of the mistake so that the team's performance was already chaotic and made Feyenoord manage to equalize.

6 Manchester City matches without a win, nobody expected that Manchester City would be that down now and Pep who had just extended his contract with Manchester City is now increasingly burdened by what happened.

In the last match, Manchester City played against Sporting CP and at that time Manchester City was very sad to have to accept the reality because they were defeated by Sporting CP with a score of 4-1. But today, of course, we just saw that Manchester City played against Feyenoord with a draw and honestly I thought Manchester City would win that match, but it's a shame that Manchester City have not yet won while playing.

In my opinion, Pep still needs to improve a lot to make his men perform better, but fortunately in today's match Manchester City did not lose so in the end they were able to get 1 point. If you look at the standings, of course there is still a lot of time for Manchester City to improve itself so that it will perform better in the next match, but of course it would be better if Manchester City finished in the top 8 standings so that it would be more stable and immediately advance to the round of 16.

Even though currently Manchester City's performance is not very good, I am sure that Manchester City will have great potential to be able to rise in strength and eventually compete with other strong teams to compete for the championship title. what do you all think?
The draw in the match between Manchester City vs Feyenoord in the Champions League meant that City did not win again like before.

In fact, Manchester City had led the score 1-0 against Feyenoord, as well as at the start of the second half, Manchester City managed to increase their lead to 2-0, and then managed to increase the score 3-0 a few minutes later. But unfortunately, Feyenoord managed to keep up with City from their first goal in the 75th minute, 82 minutes, until the third goal in the 89th minute, finally Feyenoord managed to hold City to a draw with a score of 3-3.

Manchester City could have won this match by the opportunities created, but unfortunately these opportunities failed to be utilized properly by the City players, i saw that two shots even hit the Feyenoord goal post. However, salute for both of the teams who have given their best in this match, and created an interesting and thrilling match.

That's true. At the moment, Man City can't seem to make head or tails of what's going on with them and many will blame this sudden fall from grace on the fact that they are going through an injury crisis but to be fair, it's not just them that are suffering like this but I just feel they are going through the moment every clubs go through and that's the era of failure and the reason why Man City's weak performance is being noticed is that they, for a long time, looked untouchable.

Pep Guardiola is not happy at the moment, watching his team's performance decline is definitely pure dissatisfaction. How can one explained to anyone about the sudden poor form of Manchester City? For instance, let's take the unpredictable shocking results last night at Etihad stadium. Recording a 3-3 draw to Feyenoord after leading up by 3 nil seems to peak the interest of other elite teams. What's going on in Etihad stadium? Every games played since October 30 till present day, they're unable to grab a winning and you call that normal? Winless run in the last six games played this season.

Where's the fault coming from? Is it from the manager or the players? The last time I checked, Manchester City have been incredibly one of the best competitive teams in the English Premier League and also core team in the UEFA Champions League. With all the current happenings, the Citizens odds of winning these major titles have dropped rapidly. Perhaps we're keeping close range towards them this season because it's not over until it's over.

Manchester City almost win, they lose because Rico Lewis don't want to take risk.

It was on minutes 88, where the match will end, if it was a great defender, he will do anything to block the ball including using his hand. He should learn from Luis Suarez, he block Ghana's ball and resulting in penalty, but they miss the penalty, which brought them to penalty stage.

Manchester City needs point, otherwise they will not qualify to the next round.

I agree with you, that Manchester city have the opportunity to win the game, but they decided to ended up with draw 3:3 with their opponent to share the points, which is a big worry to Manchester city coach because he have talented players more than their opponent. I don't think Manchester city will win any trophy in this season, because they have started experiencing poor performance in all the tournament, and it make them to lose so many games that will make Manchester city managements to decide to hire a new coach to replace their coach if the situation continue.

Manchester city will not going to qualify for UEFA champion league this season, because what is happening to their players will make them not to force themselves to what will not going to bring victory at the end, and their coach don't have the strength to lead the team to success in this tournament.

I really don't think that's the case here, Rico lewis taking risk or not is really not the major issue here, the major issue which am very much concerned about is why would Manchester city relinquish a 3-0 lead to a team that is way much below their level?
I know that they aren't in good form and right now they are struggling seriously but losing a three zero lead against an inferior team is a very big no too me, and if they don't improve on their performance quick, it's very much certain that things will go from bad to worse in no distance time.

So they really need to step up their game, because right now it's no longer an excuse that because of injuries they are performing so badly,  they really need to step up and perform like the Manchester city we are all used to, if not they might not qualify to the next stage of the competition.

If someone told me before season that they were gonna lead 3-0 and end up 3-3 vs Feyenord i wouldnt believe him at all. This bad streak needs to end soon and with a game against Liverpool next,i think they are in serious trouble. No Rodri no wins and thats how important he was. I think lots of bets were lost today because of this draw.

You know, there is a stigma that is always attached to a team who has experienced several defeats in their previous games such that even when they are winning a game, they won't be confident of themselves and that is exactly what happened to Manchester city against Feyenoord because even as Manchester city was winning Feyenoord, the scene of their past defeats keeps appearing to them and they started playing in fear, if not, how would a mighty team like Manchester city succeed in scoring 3 straight goals, and all of a sudden, Feyenoord equalized all three goals just in a space of less than 15 minutes, just from 75 to 89 minutes of play, it's really devastating and annoying. How porous the defenders of Manchester city were to an extent of giving Feyenoord the opportunity of equalizing 3 goals is what am yet to comprehend.
