During Joseph Mourinho season we saw players like Dele Ali pick up form and also currently as conte is managing the Club players like Son has been performing more than Harry Kane, good managers are supposed to bring out the best in players not profiting from the skills of a particular player.

Manchester City has always had a high target in the Champions League, Pep Guardiola is indeed ambitious to bring Manchester City to win this prestigious competition on the plains of Europe. If there is any where Haaland can cause threat to defense is in the premier league , the champions league is a different game, a different competition as well as a different spirit

It's not a new phenomenon anymore if Manchester City really want the Champions League title. Signing quality players every season is an important part for them to keep trying to maintain their chances of performing well throughout the season and reaching the Champions League final.

Guardiola failed in recent seasons in the Champions League with Manchester City despite having a number of quality players. But next season he will get that chance again, but don't know if he can make his wish come true.

If talking about favorites is true, it cannot be denied that Man City has win the UCL qualifying group in the last 5 seasons, that's why I say Man City is one of the candidates who have the potential to qualify for the UCL final next season. In addition, the five teams that I mentioned earlier cannot be underestimated, because these five teams have become part of UCL history every season, City must be careful with that. Hopefully Haaland and Pep Guardiola can bring new history to Man City in the UCL competition.

I don't know what Ancelotti was doing in Everton in the first place. It didn't seem like the type of club for a world class coach like himself. It was way too much of a lowered standard or perhaps, this was him testing himself and eventually got the sack letter. Good thing he joined real Madrid and won the UCL in the same season. His strategy has been the pre-match arrangements and confidence in his players to deliver on the pitch and with inexperience teams, where average players seems to dominate, it becomes a very difficult job getting to live them to themselves with just a formation to work with. This didn't work so wel for Everton and it did wth Real Madrid.

Been a good coach doesn't mean you have to do it with smaller teams. There aren't many managers that can handle star players and they'll flop at big clubs.
