Indeed for Leg 2 they made a mistake and were too confident that time.
But for next season I still feel that they will be able to do better when compared to this season for City especially with this addition of players. As long as they are not too confident and the superiority of the players they currently have, don't let them have too much confidence because this is also not good and they shouldn't do things like this season in the Champions League.
They will still be seeded but indeed for the Champions to be seeded is not enough because there are several big clubs there too.

Guardiola is an experienced coach, I'm sure he will learn a lot from Man City's failure several times in the Champions League. Next season I predict
Man City will play more carefully and of course will make more mature preparations. Moreover, Man City has several new players who can strengthen
their squad, Man City should be able to perform better in the Champions League next season. Actually, there is nothing wrong with having high
self-confidence when playing football, even that is one of the important factors in achieving victory. But it becomes something bad if self-confidence is
too much, it will make Man City underestimate the opponent to be faced. That's in my opinion the weakness of Man City this season, because Man City
have a squad with many star players, they forget that the Champions League competition is much different from the EPL competition. So Man City
when playing in the Champions League have to play much more carefully, because the opponents facing Man City are the best teams in their
respective leagues.
The problem is that for City they have been unlucky for the Champions League.
They are always seeded season after season but they always fail in the competition.
There is nothing lacking in their club. Having strong enough Finances, Talented Players on every front and a great coach but they still can't make the title or at least say more for the Champions League.

while some managers fail to be productive with big names for example Mauricio Pochettino did well at Tottenham which earned him the job at PSG but so far has not lived up to expectation and news getting to me today read he has been sacked by PSG so its one thing to manage a top club and another to bring out the best in them.

Mauricio Pochettino isn't a manager I idolize like the rest, I still don't understand why PSG went for him. The only reason I could think about is that, there was no available manager. Mauricio Pochettino isn't a good manager in my books and not fit to manage a big culb. He did poorly at Tottenham which lead to him been sack. Since I have seen him managed, I haven't seen any trophy he lifted. The only reason Tottenham were still in the top four discussion with as because of Harry Kane scoring record.

We could see other players picking form as other managers took over at Tottenham and shifted the attention from Harry Kane. During Joseph Mourinho season we saw players like Dele Ali pick up form and also currently as conte is managing the Club players like Son has been performing more than Harry Kane, good managers are supposed to bring out the best in players not profiting from the skills of a particular player.

Manchester City want the Champions League title so bad now. Guardiola wants to achieve this in the first place. Since his time started at Manchester City, their main goal has been winning the Champions League title. I think they have an adequate squad to reach the title actually and they have improved their squad even more now thanks to signing Erling Haaland. This would absolutely reflect on the odds for them to become the champions next season. But the odds don't tell the facts every time so we will see.
Manchester City has always had a high target in the Champions League, Pep Guardiola is indeed ambitious to bring Manchester City to win this prestigious competition on the plains of Europe. However, their struggles always run aground, even though the composition of the team is very promising. Indeed in this case I say that luck has not been on his side.

At least I think Man City is one of the strongest candidates to play in the UCL final next season, regardless of winning or not, we are still waiting for who will be Man City's opponent. Haaland's arrival further strengthened the city's chances of being there.

Manchester City have been the favorites for the Champions League for the last few seasons. But they can't win the title. Their squad, coaches and gameplay are all good enough. But unfortunately they still failed to win the title. However, with Haaland in the squad this season, they have become even stronger. Maybe this season they will be able to form a team worthy of winning the Champions League title.
Haaland might and might not make any difference in the club quest for the champions league title. As City makes plans on making their team formidable so is other clubs like Barcelona going for Lewandoski and B. Silva too . I think even with Haaland in the team Madrid will still remain a threat to them in the champions league by next season .

If there is any where Haaland can cause threat to defense is in the premier league , the champions league is a different game, a different competition as well as a different spirit

Manchester City might be right in taking a step like this just in a bid to increase it's chance for better performance against next season, i still can't figure out their major area of lapses that resulted to their woeful performance this season, now that all expectations is high i want to believe Erling Haaland is going to make a difference with an outstanding performance, i hope he's going to make a team together with the remaining players and build a new career record with Manchester City.
It's not a new phenomenon anymore if Manchester City really want the Champions League title. Signing quality players every season is an important part for them to keep trying to maintain their chances of performing well throughout the season and reaching the Champions League final.

Guardiola failed in recent seasons in the Champions League with Manchester City despite having a number of quality players. But next season he will get that chance again, but don't know if he can make his wish come true.

If talking about favorites is true, it cannot be denied that Man City has win the UCL qualifying group in the last 5 seasons, that's why I say Man City is one of the candidates who have the potential to qualify for the UCL final next season. In addition, the five teams that I mentioned earlier cannot be underestimated, because these five teams have become part of UCL history every season, City must be careful with that. Hopefully Haaland and Pep Guardiola can bring new history to Man City in the UCL competition.

Of course, since he came, Man City has been great but has always failed to win the UCL. Since 2016 Pep has given 10 titles to Manchester City. With good financial circumstances, of course, Pep is easy to get the players they want. Of course the arrival of Haaland strengthens Pep .'s desire for the UCL champions this season. But sometimes a lot of good players also do not guarantee to win. But I think Man City will be the favorites to win next season.

Each league has prepared the strongest team to face the UCL next season, such as Munich from the Bundesliga, Madrid and Barcelona from Laliga, PSG from France, and Man city with Liverpool from the EPL, some of these teams made changes team formations to face UCL, by far they are the strongest candidate to win UCL next season

Even without Haaland, Manchester City had excellent chances to win the Champions League title in recent years and has always been among the most important favorites, but the club is constantly missing a little something. City fans can now hope that with the arrival of Haaland, this will disappear a little bit and nothing will interfere with winning the coveted title Wink Seriously, in the last two years, the team is literally a step or two away from winning the Champions League and the team just needs to take this step and realize its potential, the most important thing is not to stop. You can treat Guardiola differently, but still there is no denying that he is doing an amazing job in his post.
Yes, that is also the reason I am still very much considering Manchester City as a candidate for the Champions League title for next season. Although I admit other teams have also made good changes for the team, but I think in this era it seems that the main actors are still Pep and Klopp where both of them can build a very good team which of course they have good budget support. Maybe for now we will agree that Manchester City does have a chance to win the Champions League title for next season, but even so that does not mean the process will be easy because in the end there will still be a surprise from each process that is passed.

Last season also Manchester City were favorites in the Champions League, although that could not make them truly champions. Additional ammunition in their attack line is their strategy to add strength to wade through the Champions League next season. We know that they were knocked out by Real Madrid in a painful way, for sure they will make sure it doesn't happen again in the coming season.
The arrival of Nunez and Haaland to the EPL will increase their chances of winning the UCL even greater. Competition will also be fiercer. In addition, in the history of several UCL seasons, EPL clubs have always been able to participate and most of them can enter the last 16. I don't know for next season, but I feel sure they can do better next season. But I also realize that there are always surprises. All my predictions are based on the statistics of the existing players and sometimes mentality plays a full role in the match.

Manchester City are going to be a huge favourite for the Champions League title next season. They have added a very big player like Erling Haaland to the team and I think that they are complete now. I always believed that they needed this kind of a striker in the team. He is like an all-around player and he can contribute insanely much to the team in terms of scoring many goals. I know that Manchester City haven't had much problem with scoring but now they will be even stronger about that.

Almost success the journey or Manchester City on UEFA Champion League last season but little mistake when second leg against with Real Madrid made dreaming get Champion League trophy gone, but Manchester City have prepare with good team for next season with Erling Haaland will make City most stronger than last season, keep worry about how Manchester City mentality on UEFA Champion League, how long keep consistent on top performance. Yeah it's no longer a thing of suprise seeing good managers going to clubs and not doing well. Some couldn't manage with average players which Ancelotti was a victim at Everton, Ancelotti has made a name for himself winning reputable trophies at chelsea and madrid too but couldn't get a silverware at everton while some managers fail to be productive with big names for example Mauricio Pochettino did well at Tottenham which earned him the job at PSG but so far has not lived up to expectation and news getting to me today read he has been sacked by PSG so its one thing to manage a top club and another to bring out the best in them.
I don't know what Ancelotti was doing in Everton in the first place. It didn't seem like the type of club for a world class coach like himself. It was way too much of a lowered standard or perhaps, this was him testing himself and eventually got the sack letter. Good thing he joined real Madrid and won the UCL in the same season. His strategy has been the pre-match arrangements and confidence in his players to deliver on the pitch and with inexperience teams, where average players seems to dominate, it becomes a very difficult job getting to live them to themselves with just a formation to work with. This didn't work so wel for Everton and it did wth Real Madrid.

Benzema has earned maximum respect for Real Madrid and as the current face of Real Madrid. I don't think it will be a problem for Benzema if CR7 comes back to Real Madrid. In addition, Cristiano Ronaldo is a name that attracts attention in the fans and in the media. Real Madrid failed in the transfer of Kylian Mbappé and only a big name like Crisitiana Ronaldo can close this file.

Seeing that his performances in Real Madrid have remained among the best in all of the teams to which he has transferred, I don't believe Ronaldo would want to return to Real Madrid, and you should be aware that times have changed. It wasn't like before, when Benzema would always stand by the side of crowds, cheering for others; now he wanted to represent even at his age, and you know, the jungle can't have two kings.

Mbape is still young and has a lot of potential, but the fact that he gave them hope to come to Real Madrid and then switched because of money is a black mark on his career. Real Madrid fans booed him on the red carpet at one event last week and spread him water, and he deserved it. He should go and learn from notable players who were once like him and faded out.

I don't this so also since Ronaldo has done his time at Real Madrid previously before his transfer to other clubs and seing his performance with Manchester United in the last season even though Manchester United failed to go far in the premier league or even qualify for the championship if Ronaldo can take the heading pf the club as the coach that will make more sense other than returning to Real Madrid at any point.

To judge his qualities as a coach, you need not more time, but more or less fair competition with other competitors. Many can take the top club with the best players and give results. I would like to see him take a club smaller than PSG/Bayern/City and be able to beat one of the listed monsters (not in one game but in the championship). But I think I will never see it because Guardiola will never take such a risk.

Been a good coach doesn't mean you have to do it with smaller teams. There aren't many managers that can handle star players and they'll flop at big clubs. Thomas Tuchel had issue because of big names in PSG but did well when he came to a club with average players in regards to media pressure and other things associated with stars figures. We saw him having same issue with Lukaku at Chelsea as well. Mauricio Pochettino took over Management at PSG and haven't done the best Job so far which is why there are rumors of PSG wanting to replace him.

It's one thing to manage a top club and it's another thing to bring the best out of them. A team having players such as Messi, Neymar, Mbappé etc can't be an easy job so many will flop at managing them. Every manager has their specialties, Pep is a good Manager and should be considered among the best out there.
Yeah it's no longer a thing of suprise seeing good managers going to clubs and not doing well. Haaland's presence is of course a complement to the goal-hungry spearhead that City has been looking for, especially since Haaland has shown his quality with Borussia Dortmund last season where the 21-year-old has appeared so productive and has scored 113 goals from 164 appearances for the first team. in his club and country, of course as football fans we can't wait for Haaland's game with Manchester city this season, everyone is very confident in the quality possessed by the Norwegian passport player
