Some people predict one of the biggest issue why Man City failed to get champion league title because they don't have sharp forward players such as Benzema in Madrid or Moh Salah in Liverpool but apparently Guardiola realized this weakness and attempts to get new forward player and they were successfully get Haaland from Dortmund because probably with the arrival of Haaland can solved this issue and if Haaland can showed good performance i think Man City achievement will be more better than last season
That's right, they don't have a good finisher up front, and next season they have done that with Haaland joining the team. But that's just the beginning, I mean when they can't make good use of it then the situation will be the same. But I believe Pep can make Haaland able to play sharp here, because his experience as a coach has been tested.
In the last few seasons, the pure striker position has always been an unsolved problem in the Man City squad. Man City has long been looking for a No. 9 striker, Erling Haaland presence in the squad will certainly have a good impact on Man City. Haaland will be the new goal machine for Man City, Haaland quality has been proven while still playing with Borussia Dortmund.  He closed the 2021/2022 season by scoring 29 goals for Borussia Dortmund in 30 appearances in all competitions. Haaland can add to the number of goals Man City is increasing, especially supported by players like Kevin De Bruyne who always spoil the Manchester City striker with his beautiful assists.

For me, Guardiola's qualifications are still in great doubt - in Barcelona he came to the legacy of Rijkaard (where there were already the greatest players), won something and after he was beaten by Mourinho (many thought that Real would start a long domination) fled. Then he came to the already magnificent Bavaria, which had only one task: to win the Champions League. Failed. Then City with endless purchases, the most expensive team in the most expensive league. Yes, he has victories, but do they speak of his qualifications? It seems to me that the results that he achieved are highly expected in relation to the conditions that he had.

I honestly don't know, Guardiola has never convinced me
he seems like a good guy to me, but not a top coach
first he won, and thank you .. he had champions who were in their comfort zone and were giving beastly results
I'm good like that too
the good coach is seen with poor players (like Ranieri) not with the players he wants and strong

Yes, I agree with all the things that were mentioned about him. But I still believe that he should be given a little more time. I think he is still a good coach and if he had a little more attacking flexibility he could have come out with a win against Real Madrid in the Champions League. So, he should be given time for at least one more season and after that, if he fails to prove his worth then these things will make a lot more sense.

I wonder how Klopp's innovativeness manifests itself in your opinion? His team plays the same football as 5 and 10 years ago.
As for Guardiola, I can't think of anything about him that would make him stand out among hundreds of other coaches. His only "innovation" is to get a top team and take titles with it - Barcelona then Bayern with which he could not win the Champions League and now City which spend space money on football players but again he cannot win the Champions League.

I don't think that only winning the Champions League should suggest the quality of a coach. But in this case, exceptions can be made because Pep Guardiola has a very good team playing under him.
I really think that he should have won the Champions League this time with Manchester City. But they have lost to Real Madrid which absolutely can be said did not have a very good squad, hope they will be able to do better in the next season.

Yes all clubs learn from experience, they try to improve the club according to the money they have. But the reality in the transfer market is very different. It was fortunate that Man city had a lot of money and got Haaland. Statistically at the moment I think Man City are strong candidates to win UCL next season. Their philosophy of the game is simply incredible. I think The Man City vs Madrid semi-final match is the real final. But the players' mentality is better they were able to win in overtime. Madrid will probably also be worried, they don't get what kind of players they plan to do. Next, I am waiting for the news of the results of the playoffs, who will enter the group phase later?

At first many people believed with Manchester City will be able to compete further in the Champions League last season. But that vanished when they had to face Real Madrid. Real Madrid is the scourge of all representatives of England, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool have become victims of Real Madrid. Many do not believe in the dominance of Real Madrid and consider it just a luck. Lol
The problem is tactical because when Pep coaches them so well with the ball and progressing and they are good at counterpress, they may not be drilled or experience enough moments where they have to sustain serious pressure and suffer through a game. In the EPL it is probably ok but in UCL there will be teams that are good enough to make you suffer, and Man City haven't dealt with it enough to not break. The Champions League is not the Premier League. Even the great Arsenal teams under
In the UCL it was a miss for Pep Guardiola for not defending such a strong back that when they were focused on attack and there was a bit of complacency then Real Madrid would definitely take advantage of that opportunity and indeed it proved to be a boomerang for Mancity because Real Madrid won from a lack of defence them, all representatives of England suffered the same fate in the UCL defense yesterday.

In UCL it is different from other leagues they will get stronger but when they are negligent it will backfire a little too.

Pep's reputation Of course there is no doubt as the world's top coach, last season when I faced Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinals, I think I was a little unlucky. But next season Manchester City have got the world's top striker who has an extraordinary goal-scoring instinct. Manchester City has not had a striker like Halaand for several seasons. In my opinion, the Manchester City squad is very complete on all fronts but the arrival of Halaand makes the Manchester City squad perfect.
I think Manchester City will have more chances in chasing the Champions League next season.
Manchester City have really been unlucky this season because in the last 10 minutes they could concede 2 goals. Pep has indeed done a pretty good job at Manchester City because since Pep arrival, Manchester City has become a big club that is highly respected and has even become a team that has dominated the premier league in recent seasons. next season the manchester city squad on the front wing will belong to erling haaland we will be able to assess manchester city will provide strong competition in the champions league.

Don't let us use comparison for this players because everyone of them have thier downfalls, i remember when Mohd Sallah could not deliver a goal in this just conclusion champions league, many of the Liverpool fans balme him for lack of consistency, this is a player that we all know to have build a reputable career in the past years but much critics couldn't uprise whenever he delivers below expectations because he just enjoyed the favour of his past awesome performances, Manchester City tried well this season and i think wtih a change in their forward wing could make little more difference against next season.
True there is no end to making comparisons between players. But it's good to see a situation like that for the team when you have a striker who can take advantage of the smallest possible opportunities. Moreover, Manchester City are strong in defense and also their midfield, isn't it good for the club to have a sharp striker so that they can make the team composition complete.

It is indeed the coach's job to change the way of playing in a team because that is for the purpose of becoming a champion, moreover a coach like Pep has so much experience in the team that he will definitely be able to make a player like Haaland turn out to be very good to strengthen the team next season. Manchester City's performance last season was very good. Unfortunately, they could not reach the Champions League final due to the defeat against Real Madrid. And so Guardiola wants to make his team even stronger next season. Guardiola knows his team's weaknesses very well. And so he continues to try to make these weak points stronger. I would at least hope that Manchester City's dream of winning the Champions League next season will come true.

Man City only had 2 strikers last season, Liam Delap who rarely got the chance to play, and Gabriel Jesus who I don't think has a very good performance. As far as I know, Pep Guardiola once said that Man City doesn't need a new striker, but after they were eliminated in the Champions League semifinals, I guess Guardiola has just realized that they really need a reliable striker. For next season, Man City already has Haaland and if his performance is as expected then Man City will get even stronger.

That would be a high stake on both teams next season. Both teams are picking up after a disappointing campaign dropping out of the champions league campaign last season and with their recent additions to the squad I think they will come back stronger next season and do better so let's just keep our fingers crossed and see how far they will go this coming season who knows either of them could get the jackpot

For next season, it is really too hard to predict the winner of the championship here. Because Manchester City have signed Erling Haaland and I think that they are really a complete team now. They can fight much harder for the championship. PSG only need a good coach like quite many people said already. If they manage to sign a coach like that then they would also be very challenging for the championship. Pochettino is a good one but not the one they need now. On the other hand we all know the Real Madrid threat for them again.
Not really interested or favorite with Manchester City as the winner of Champion League next season despite success arrived Erling Haaland, I think keep with mentality and full experience from Real Madrid as the candidate for getting Champion League trophy. The same what happen in this season were Real Madrid as team not really favorite for getting champion league trophy, but at the end Real Madrid success become the winner after impressive performance and success come back every match on 16 round, quarter final until on semifinal before looks easy match against with Liverpool on the final stage.

I said that Real Madrid are going to be a threat again but I started feeling like they won't achieve the Champions League title next season. I think that it will be a different team than them and it will even be one of two alternatives in my mind now: PSG or Manchester City. I really wish one of these teams can finally achieve this and in my opinion Manchester City are more likely to do it. I see it like Erling Haaland was the last piece of the puzzle to complete it and now they can do this.
Real madrid will be threat to other tough team,  and this can what will not make them to win the Champions League in the next season,  other teams seeing real madrid as a threat will make them to be serious with their game and to try their all best to win the Champions League in the next season.

well that is true. In sports luck is very very important. Liverpool and Real Madrid were both equally good but luck sat of Real Madrid side during final and they went home celebrating. Champions went home celebrating - However it was not a lucky day for the Liverpool. And we can not say better luck next time Liverpool, Because it is a long long way to the tournament final. who knows what happens tomorrow.

I was one of them. I really think Ancelotti its gon na to retire and dont have any to give to a Real Madrid after his pass from Everton. But clearly i was wrong.

Today i was seeing a review of the Real Madrid and cant belive they have lose against the Sheriff tiraspol in the Bernabue. I was tottaly forgot that.

Yes, many doubted Ancelotti at first because of his failure at Everton, but even though Ancelotti is currently a successful coach with Real Madrid I still don't believe Ancelotti can maintain his success. Because next season for the competition in the Champions League will certainly not be easy, because the reshuffle of other great teams that happened so far looks so good. But indeed, after all Real Madrid is really a team that cannot be underestimated at all, although sometimes Real Madrid can be defeated by dark horse teams but in the end Madrid is a great team that can quickly improve its performance.
Ancelotti is a good coach who has many titles under his belt, he is proven and recognised on an elite level I would never doubt him for a sec going in for a Madrid job, Real Madrid is a very good team with a very good squad with a good coach coming in, they can compete at any level and Ancelotti has that quality so I mean I'm not suprised at their achievements.

'Bitcoins are like gold bars with wings' - T.W.
The rule about 5 substitutions has been voted as a permanent one today and will be implemented in all competitions under UEFA going forward.

Also - intentionally playing with a hand will be red-carded no matter where it happened - and goalkeepers will have to have both feet on the line when defending penalties - so far they could have 1 in front and 1 behind or both behind.

The first 2 rules I fully support, the 3rd one is kinda irrelevant.
