Well another night full of interesting results.
Atletico - Juve draw is somewhat expected, but I expected leass goals. Atleti made great comeback, I just don't understand why referee didn't gave penalty when Juve player touched ball with hand.
PSG 3:0 Real. I didn't watched this game, so I can't talk about it, but such score looks really big. Real made 0 shots on target  Shocked
Bayer 1:2 Lokomotiv. Bayer were favorites, but as I said earlier today, this game is tricky.
Dinamo Zagreb 4:0 Atalanta - it's biggest surprise for me. 4:0 against solid Seria A team - wow. We have obvious leader in this group - Man City, and 3 teams which will fight for 2nd place.
A strings of unexpected outcomes again tonight, Bayer Leverkusen losing at Home against Lokomotiv Moscow and Atalanta's massacre at Dinamo Zagreb are probably the height of it.

After watching Liverpool suffered a loss to Napoli yesterday, I think there is a chance Tottenham might suffer the same fate as Liverpool too when they play against Olympiacos Piraeus today away from home, I checked the match history of Olympiacos Piraeus and it seems that they are a strong team whenever they are playing at their home stadium.

Good call from your side and "well done" to everybody who managed sitting in his/her hands for this first matchday (or the CL in general)  Cheesy

If I'm not mistaken you'll get @3.8 for slavia Prague +0.5 handicap

Then you'll get @4.75 for Valencia to win away against Chelsea

Dortmund vs Barcelona under 0.5 goals gives you @15

If you make those three games as a parlay you'll get @270.5

Put 4 mbtc and you'll get 1 bitcoin in return
But come on ... noone crazy enough to place bet for Barcelona match under 0.5 goal ...

Nice numbers afterwards, but its like Lotto, we all would pick the numbers if we would just know them aforehand Wink

Incredible first half in Zagreb, Dinamo is completely dominating Atalanta and leads 3:0.

I knew that Dinamo will have chance against Atalanta but i didn't see this coming. They are good team, with one of the best  young players in Europe ( Dani Olmo) but i didn't expect this. I really hope they can continue like that in the 2nd half.

Bare in mind, Atalanta finished 3rd last season in Serie A, while scoring most goals (77) , so they are far from bad team, and that shows how good Dinamo Zagreb can be.

Real Madrid will start the UCL journey today against PSG. Several players from both teams would be absent due to injury such as Marcelo, Mbappe, Modric. And Neymar, Ramos won't be able to play because they are on a ban. Real Madrid always fired up at UCL and I hope we will watch a great show on Le Parc des Princes.

Juventus is going to take on Atletico Madrid today. Ronaldo would want a great start because I think he is the king of UCL. Lat time. Ronaldo scored a hattrick and knocked Simeone out of the UCL. I am really excited to watch these massive matches.

I am with Real tonight and placed a bet for fun with crypto, in a platform called Kryptium! Anyone against me??

PSG vs Real should be a great game tonight, there will probably be goals both ways. I’m leaning ever so slightly towards thinking PSG will win a close game.

I really hope the match doesn't disappoints in terms of goals scored just like everyone had anticipated a goal festival in Barça vs Dortmund (But the game wasn't by any means a boring one), just the lack of goals. That said looking at the line up, despite Real Madrid obvious struggle recently, I still think they will win the game.

Edit: Tottenham just blew a two goal lead, It's 2 -2!

Has anyone managed to calculate how much money could have been made if they bet on the right winners of last night? I mean I am pretty sure you would have a great odds at your hands and if you bet a decent amount you could have tested the max mounts of any sportsbook out there.
You can only say that right now because you've seen the outcome of the games, before the games kicked off it'll be almost impossible to predict them all correctly.
You can't calculate how much money you would have made because it always looks really easy when the games are over.

You can try predicting tonights games prior to its start and see how lucky you'll be in winning, I bet you wouldn't be so lucky.

The atmosphere will be hostile in Greece but if Spurs can survive the first 15-20 mins without conceding they should go on to pick up 3 points. They are a good team.

I don't usually play safe just like last night putting my money on over/under goals with low odds .. guess the result is that i lost them all .

The matches which promised lost of goals on paper last night, ended up disappointing, producing little or none.
That's the unpredictability of football.
Salzburg were the surprise package with 5 first half goals.

I was expecting lots of goals from the PSG - Madrid fixture, but I'm not so sure on that now, may just back the French side to grab all three points.
Yeah it's just a disaster to see every matches against me yesterday and I think I won't make any bet tonight ... taking break for a couple days till this weekend to get some fresh air as I have experienced whenever I keep pushing myself to recover a loss immediately... I ended up with more and more losses.

Back in the day they were almost unbeatable at home even in CL matches - that changed in the last years - but they seem to be "back"... as much as I hate to say that myself as an AEK supporter. Wink

Having discussions with several guys, everybody is so sure the Spurs will get an easy away win in Greece. Why exactly? They are even going to rest up to 6 players, lol. My money is on 1X tonight (1.80 odds!!!!) and some on 1 (~4.2!!!!).

Of course it is the start of the season and the teams are still not at their %100 power so these kinds of stuff happens at the early parts of the season but usually it happens to each team like once, not at the same time, last night it happened to all of them at the same time, I would have expected inter, Barça, Liverpool all to win their games. Since the loss is out of the way I am %99 sure from now on I would be more relaxed on betting for Barça or Liverpool since they will recover and not lose again for a long while.

It started with a surprise yesterday with Internazionale Milano not being able to win against a team from a much weaker league than Serie A.They played not very well but the goalkeeper of Slavia Prague made at least 3 extraordinary saves and then Slavia took heart and played better than Internazionale.
this makes UCL this season very interesting because the team that is considered weak shows that the strength of their team is not what the majority thinks.

Inter 1 vs 1 Slavia
Chelsea 0 vs 1 Valencia
Barcelona 0 vs 0 Dortmund
Liverpool 0 vs 2 Napoli

Did you watch match between Salzburg and Genk?
Please remember young player from Norway, Erling Haland.
He is youngest player in Championship league who scored 3 goals in the first match.
His market value is currently 30 millions euros but soon probably over 50 millions.
Is he new Ronaldo?
BTW Salzburg beat Genk and made good start in the season.

Damn, lost lot of money tonight :/
The bookies won big time yesterday. I mean, Slavia Prague getting a point from Italy, Valencia winning away, Barca vs Dortmund goaless, defending champions debuting with a 2-0 loss...Yeah, we lost our bets, but i can't deny that these sort of unexpected results are what makes the CL such an special competition.

PSG vs Real should be a great game tonight, there will probably be goals both ways.
Many people were expecting a lot of goals yesterday in the Dortmund vs Barcelona match and it was a disapointing 0-0. With PSG missing Cavani, Neymar, and Mbappe, game tonight might not be the goal fest some expect.

My picks today:

parlay
Galatasaray ML / Tottenham ML / Man City to win and over 1.5

Taking a huge risk with Galatasaray  Lips sealed

Pissed off that we (Liverpool) lost last night. I thought a draw would have been a fair result. Callejon is a cheating bastard. Check this out - https://twitter.com/lfcreclandogers/status/1174064855235596296?s=21

No contact from Robertson at all & he just dived. What is the point in having VAR?
And the 2nd goal wouldn’t have happened if this one didn’t.

Oh well, we should still qualify.

One of the matches that I have been waiting for. This will make the match attack each other (maybe). And I also think the same thing with you, that PSG will likely win this match. Opportunities will be like this (In my opinion)

PSG (41%)
Draw (27%)
RM (32%)

I'm surprised that Valencia won against Chelsea, especially knowin what's going on in their club. Well, this season will be very tough for Chelsea and I'm just sorry for Lampard.

I thought that it would be an easy win for Chelsea last night especially due to the fact that they were playing at home.
Valencia got a win which may be proven crucial for the next state qualification.
I hope that Chelsea will make the come back later on the next matches of the season.
