There are exactly two weeks to go for the first matches to begin. The one between PSG and Real Madrid must be the most waited one for most people I guess. When we assess the current situations of these teams now, we can see that both of them are amazingly good. I really admire Real Madrid especially. They seem to be a more credible team than PSG these days to me for some reason. It is a great pleasure to watch this version of Benzema now. He is having one of his best seasons certainly and he is a big threat to PSG. If PSG don't get a nice result in the first match, Real Madrid can really eliminate them by the rematch.

But for me it underlines that PSG is not as strong as it is always portrayed. Of course, the club has strong individual players, but the new signings Messi and Ramos have already passed their zenith and do not bring the team a significant advantage over the last seasons. And young players like Mbappe are currently not in form (Mbappe was very disappointing against Nice). For me, Real is the slight favorite.
I agree, even before yesterday's match I thought that Real had equal chances with PSG and was not an underdog (as bookmakers draw), and now I am even more confident that I am right. But what is interesting to me is that Manchester city lost a match against RB Leipzig

That must have been a little unexpected for everyone but I also don't think that Sporting CP should be a big obstacle for Manchester City. they will easily win this match and yes I also agree that they will not risk it and leave anything for the later leg.Sometimes huge names do not really care about some games and this is what happens, when you lose motivation that is what we have as a result. I do not mean to say that it is something I am not seeing ever happening again, of course it could happen again but I feel like City will be dominating and destroying Lisbon very easily. Not because Lisbon is a very low level team, they are a decent team of course but City is... well they are City, we all know what type of power they have and they may end up winning the whole thing.

I'm looking for a bet and found only 10% for Sporting, I don't know why is so bad even they play as hosts. The city is very favored, while Sporting is still in question, but their last performance is good, they were able to beat Benfica at home. when continuing like this, winning in the next 3 games (especially vs Porto) the number will change from 10 to 30, this means the city will have hard work in Jose Alvalade.
To be honest i am not really surprised that the odds are so clear in favorite for Manchester City, even though Sporting Lissabon is in a great shape at the moment. I see that the odds for a win of Sporting are at around 10,0 while you only get 1.31 for a win of ManCity, so if you are confident that Sporting has a good chance of winning, then you can bet a small amount of money on them. I personally think though that the general difference in quality between Sporting and ManCity is just to high, i think that even if ManCity is only managing to bring 80% of their performance on the field then it will still be enough to beat sporting. They are the top favorite to win the Champions League after all.

I feel the same way when I look at the Real Madrid squad. They work very well as a team, there is a very good dynamic and they seem more united. PSG, despite having an excellent squad, does not seem to have such good chemistry, nor do they seem so united with the Real Madrid players.

I agree with you’ll that this match is worth watching, because of the star player’s that’ll be seen on the pitch and despite PSG having more star power, I feel that Real Madrid’s been performing much better than PSG so it’ll be really interesting to see if PSG stars can finally unite and defeat Real Madrid.
Lastly could both teams play a defensive game and try and score on the counter, maybe they could because there will be tremendous pressure on both the teams to win these fixtures, but let’s hope that they will decide to give us a goal fest instead and not a boring draw.

PSG are more favourites in this first leg, but I think not because they have many star player but more because this match will take place at PSG stadium which will definitely give the advantage of having the full support from their supporters, Madrid still have a chance to at least make this match draw or make a score that will be very in their favor in the second leg.But no less important hopefully become an interesting match, both teams play open so that all possibilities can happen.

Sporting did surprise us all by successfully qualifying as runner-up in group C, even though in group C there is Dortmund who is more favourite.
Therefore, Man City should not underestimate Sporting, although strategically and the quality of Man City's players is much better than Sporting.
My prediction is that Man City will beat Sporting in the first leg and also in the second leg, because Man City is currently in the best form.
Even Man City in the Premier League is almost certain to win the trophy, because it is already 9 points ahead of Liverpool who is in second place.
So it's hard to imagine that Sporting can make things difficult for Man City, but my prediction is probably wrong, because in the world of football
