Like that Messi goal against City for example, Mbappe knew how to pass exactly to where because he knows how Messi likes it, and we will see a lot of that if all three will be healthy and ready to play against Real Madrid when the time comes.

According to news circulating, Neymar did suffer an ankle injury during the match against St Etienne, 28 November 2021 and so far has missed 11 matches in all competitions.

Pochettino will field his best players in that match where Neymar, Messi and Mbappe will again be paired as attackers on PSG's front lines. It makes no sense for Pochettino not to play them if these players are in good form.

So far, Mbappe has managed to maintain his slick performance and consistently score goals in various competitions, including the Champions League. Neymar and Messi have more time off than Mbappe due to injury or Covid issues. Basically the squad that PSG have has the same quality for the main players and substitutes, there is still Mauro Icardi who I think they all have good quality too. That way, it should be with Neymay who is still injured PSG will still be fine. If PSG can't make a win in this first leg then of course, PSG need a better coach and from the rumors that exist Zidane will be a new coach recruit for PSG.

Etienne, I think the ankle injury will take a long time to heal and it is likely that Neymar will miss the first leg later, while Messi is reportedly currently recovering due to Covid, and the recovery from Covid which usually doesn't take long time will make it possible for Messi to be able to playing.

In the match with Reims, Messi came on as a substitute, so we can assume that he is fine. As for Neymar, nothing is clear yet, perhaps he will have time to recover even for the first match, which will take place on February 15th. It seems that he has already cured the injury, but the recovery is not over yet, he will be released on the field only if they are sure that there is no danger of re-injury.

Yes, after all Real Madrid and PSG are giant teams. This season they are the owner of the top standings in their respective leagues. This shows that they really are a formidable team.
But I prefer Real Madrid to be the favorite to qualify for the next round. I predict the match will be tough, but the victory seems to be Real Madrid's with a narrow score.

For me Real Madrid would be the favorite team in this match-up at least as of now. They are playing a very good season so far and they managed to keep their squad together even though they have 900 Million € of debts.
I find it ridiculous though that they are really thinking about signing Haaland AND Mbappe after this season with that huge amount of debts. I think stuff like that should not be allowed, but that is not really the topic here.
I think though that PSG has definitely the potential to win this match too though. So far they have not really shown that many great performances this year and i would guess that a lot of people are disappointed because of that because they expected that PSG would totally dominate every team now that they have messi. The truth is though that they now have 3 players with Neymar, Messi and Mbappe that are usually doing absolutely nothing for the defense. In very important games this could be different though.

Is going to be a difficult match. Both teams have fmgood attackers. Although, I squad strength, PSG have a strong squad compared to that of Real Madrid. But, Madrid is in solid form this season, and they have intentions of winning the Champions League trophy. Honesty, I don't know who will probably win in the first leg which will be played on the 15th of February, but PSG is likely to advance to the next round. However, the Round 16 results will be full of surprises.

I think the team that will perform better will be the one that tactically shows itself to be more organized and that managed to cancel out the opposing team. It will be a game in which the coaches will play a very important role in organizing the team.

The match between Real Madrid and PSG is like a dream final but unfortunately, due to a technical error during the draw, the two teams had to meet early in the round of 16 (even at that time Real Madrid had protested, because their match against Benfica had to be canceled). What's interesting about this match is that Sergio Ramos (former Real Madrid captain) has to fight against his former teammates, and how did Mbappe perform against Real Madrid.

It's funny that the draw for the Champions League last 16 this season had to be done twice regardless of non-technical errors but there was a lot of speculation about this to prevent one of the clubs between Manchester United and PSG from facing each other in the round of 16. During the first draw, Madrid was supposed to be against Benfica, but Madrid's re-draw met with PSG, but I think Madrid is still ready for whoever the opponent is and I'm still optimistic that I can qualify for the quarter-finals.

I think the controversy will arise because of the re-draw but what matters is that one of these two teams will get eliminated early and that would be a very sad thing as both the teams are capable of winning this year's CL.

PSG have rebuilt their squad only to get the CL trophy as they bought Messi, Donarumma, Wijnaldum, and many more. RMA are always a big team in terms of CL and even this season, they look quite deadly as the Benzema-Vini duo is performing insanely. It will be very unfortunate to see one team go home this early.

You cant really say this club will win and that club will lose etc , too much events ended unexpectedly in this competition and you can take it as a parameter though.

We might even get disappointed as the game could run really slow and ended with goalless , who knows right?
