Some crazy results in this round of Champions League qualifying round with Sheriff Tiraspol and Ferencvaros all progressing to next round, but PSV showed their class and won in both matches with Midtjylland.
Rangers is very near of dropping out of Champions League, and I am expecting interesting match in next round Monaco vs Shakhtar Donetsk, but having Shakhtar Donetsk or Ferencvaros  in CL would be very funny.

Despite a much more confident game than in the first match, Spartak still conceded a goal and now we can say officially dropped out of the tournament. Benfica is unlikely to miss a three-goal lead in the remaining 20 minutes  Undecided
Monaco and Shakhtar won today after victories in the first matches and now meet each other, I can assume it will be an excellent confrontation, as Monaco is showing a great game.

Genk lost its game and now they will move to Europa League. Sheriff won, Slavia Praha left also even after winning with 1 goal. Olympiacos is now playing extra time (2-2). Monaco and PSG passing easily to the next stage. Young Boys and Benfica seem to pass unless they receive +2 goals.

Do you think that with Messi at PSG, will it be this year that they will be able to reach the final?
Or will they suffer the same problem as other big clubs, having many stars in the same squad?

Well, that's really hard to guess because sometimes it really comes down to pure luck. PSG with Messi definitely has to be considered as one of the favorites, IMO they were even before Messi.
Regarding the too many stars issue - we need to see first of all if Mbappe will even stay or not - that could be a big blow if he leaves. Then, Neymar has to accept to play with Messi again - which so far he wants, he was the main driving force behind the deal.

___________________________________

Regarding tonight's games - I did not expect Crvena Zvezda to get kicked out against Sheriff. A potentially dangerous clash with Dinamo is avoided, Dinamo on the other hand leading after a great goal in the 1st half.

Crvena Zvezda DC X2; O6.5 corners; O1.5 total goals @2.05

~snip

and in the end, Zvezda lost match in Tiraspol, which leaves Sheriff in competition for CL - with a winner from Dinamo - Legia
it is hard to say that Zvezda was better team, they had ball in possession, but no ideas what to do with it, and Sheriff used their chance at the end of the first half

Dinamo already scored in Warsaw, and will probably meet Sheriff in next round, open road to CL

This is also good news on the security side as a possible match between Crvena Zvezda and Dinamo in the next round was a major possible security risk.
I'm not really surprised Sheriff was better than the Zvezda. I remember in the past Dinamo also had serious problems with that club in the Champions League competition.
I don't think Dinamo will have an easy job with them if they make it to the next round of the Champions League competition.
It will be very interesting Smiley

The Sheriff created sensation today, I don't understand how Crvena Zvezda could lose this match Huh I have not watched the match, but I see that the statistics of the match looks even, which means the Sheriff had a good match. I don't think they will be able to advance to the Champions League group stage, but for them win over each opponent is already a great victory, at this stage.

Where do you see these odds, could you provide a link? To be honest, they look unrealistic, because if we place a bet on each of these 4 outcomes for $ 100, then for any outcome we will be in profit by at least $ 20, and a maximum by ~ 900.
Maybe you have confused something?
By the way, I am glad that the chances of moving to the English championship are greater than in PSG, I would not want Messi to be there.
Hey KTChampions, here is the links :

Odds are changing and PSG one is getting lower with Messi getting closer to sign there Wink

Thx!  Smiley
Unfortunately, I did not have time to see the actual odds (I was at work yesterday) and now the information has changed. Plus, as I understand it, PSG made another announcement and Messi's transition is almost 99% likely (if it hasn't happened yet). In any case, these odds looked dubious, could it really be that every bettor could make money so easily? I do not know how to explain it.

A few tickets for today's fixtures:

Crvena Zvezda DC X2; O6.5 corners; O1.5 total goals @2.05 X

A small betbuilder bet on Sheriff vs. Zvezda match, if not for the red card in the second half Zvezda should have won in Belgrade. I fancy them to qualify for the next round given their experience and having a better overall squad. I consider neither team a defensive juggernaut, so i could totally see both teams looking to score in a somewhat open match. An early first-half goal will definitely help me with the corners and total goals here.

Glasgow Rangers to Qualify @1.90 X

Rangers didn't play their best game in Sweden, but they got lucky in the last seconds to make their loss more bearable, and with only a goal down they still have their chances to advance. Malmo on the other hand, with not so impressive visits in the previous rounds vs. weaker teams, draws with Riga and HJK. I think this should probably be a close match, but the fact that Rangers will be playing at home in front of their fans at a sold out Ibrox Stadium, i think they can squeeze a narrow win, there is a good chance we see this goes to ET at least.

Shakhtar - Genk btts + Spartak Moscow To Score in Both Halves NO @1.66

I'm not completely dismissing the possibility of Genk pulling a surprise here, but regardless of what the end result will be, i'm almost certain we'll see lots of goals again, and i'm not betting on Shakhtar to keep a clean sheet, so btts. As for Benfica and Spartak Moscow, the Portuguese have a comfortable lead after leg1, conservative first half, and a scoreless draw would be my bet.

Tomorrow there will be a lot of return matches of the Champions League... The most interesting in my opinion are Monaco - Sparta, Benfica - Spartak, Shakhtar - Genk... I think you can even take a chance and make a multi-bet on the home team victory in all three matches... The only doubt about Monaco, they played too badly recently in the match against Nantes in the home championship...

At Benfica - Spartak, I think Spartak will try to surprise, but Benfica is starting the season well and it certainly won't make it easier. Furthermore, he has an advantage for having scored two goals in the first leg. But now as they don't count the away goals, Benfica has to play well to guarantee the passage to the next tie.

Benfica is more stable than the Spartak Moscow team. I don't think Moscow will show any surprises. Benfica won the previous match 2-0. Benfica is already a bit ahead. I don't think Spartak will score more than 2 goals against Benfica. I bet on Benfica's victory today.

it can be said that Benfica will go smoothly from the obstacles of Spartak Moscow to fight for a ticket to the Champions League next season especially with Benfica's 0-2 advantage I think Benfica will qualify for the next round, moreover Benfica is a Portuguese club that is already very rich experience in playing in European competitions, for example at the champions league level, Spartak Moscow is not a stumbling block to stop Benfica from qualifying for the next phase

Never before have I seen PSG as high among the bookmakers as now. Of course that has to do with Messi going to the club. They are top favourites, otherwise it would be a matter of time before they would become champions. Even without Messi.
They have spent the most money this transfers season and Messi is nearly confirmed. They will win the league and they will probably win the Champions League. PSG will be punished for overspending in a couple of years but they would only achieved their goal of champions league. They will be unstoppable for the next couple of years.
Having superstars and spending a lot of money is not the main indicator in football! A good example is last year's league, where Barcelona, Bayern, PSG and Real Madrid lost in 1/4 and 1/2...
PSG can undoubtedly win the home championship, but they might not have enough experience for the Champions League... Although I also think they are worthy of a final this year!

We have to keep in mind that if there are a lot of star players in the team, there is more conflict between the players. If there is more conflict between the players of the team then it will be very difficult to win against a strong team. Messi may not have ego problems. He will be able to adapt well with Neymar. But Mbappe and Ramos have lots of ego problems. So even if PSG have plenty of star players in their squad, it’s hard to say how effective its results will be.

Top players signed with PSG this season and with Messi in the team well good luck for their opponents.

Monaco and Benfica will play stressless with 2 goals in advance in the first leg. Genk will have hard moments vs Shakhtar.

PSG and City look like clear favorites, and Bayern and Real probably still look better than Chelsea. They did win it last season and did strengthen, but PSG strengthened a lot more and City will probably too (I expect Kane to end up there).

having a lot of stars in the club, it's good, to boost the morale of players, and can scare weak teams, but to get all the titles, I don't think they can get it, even though other teams don't have many star players and expensive players, but I think Other clubs also have a great opportunity to get champion titles, such as Liferpool, Chelsea, and Dourtmurt.

I agree with you! Spartacus is in terrible shape now! They will not be able to oppose Benfica away... Recently they lost a home match to an outsider in the Russian Premier League... So I'm sure Spartak will lose again today!

Shakhtar are favorites after win in 1st leg and for single bet on their win odds looks good - 1.85. Same for PSV - 1.97
I hardly can imagine that Crvena Zvezda won't beat Sheriif twice in a row, so I pick their win @1.82
Ludogorets - Olympiacos looks tricky game, I doubt that it will be high scoring, cost of mistake is too big - under 2.5 @1.70
I expect Rangers to win at home, but odds for their win looks nothing special - 1.50. And they need to score 2 goals in order not to send game to extra time.
Slavia - Ferencvaros, Slavia is favorites, but ''Fradi'' have solid advantage from 1st leg, so, it's difficult task for Slavia.
I skip betting on Legia - Dinamo Zagreb, too tricky game.

agree on most picks, would skip PSV and Shakhtar, but Crvena Zvezda and Rangers are solid picks, that should be wins
Olympiakos has really tough challenge in Bulgaria, and all outcomes are possible there, as well as in Praha, Slavia is a bit better, but Ferencvaros has really good score from first match

regarding Legia, I would probably put some money on Dinamo to pass-through, in the end, they are a bit better team, and 1:1 does not mean that much for Legia, without away goal rule

I don't agree that these pairs looks most interesting. Monaco and Benfica already took confident wins in away first leg. But multi-bet souns like a good option.
