Tomorrow there will be a lot of return matches of the Champions League... The most interesting in my opinion are Monaco - Sparta, Benfica - Spartak, Shakhtar - Genk... I think you can even take a chance and make a multi-bet on the home team victory in all three matches... The only doubt about Monaco, they played too badly recently in the match against Nantes in the home championship...

At Benfica - Spartak, I think Spartak will try to surprise, but Benfica is starting the season well and it certainly won't make it easier. Furthermore, he has an advantage for having scored two goals in the first leg. But now as they don't count the away goals, Benfica has to play well to guarantee the passage to the next tie.

PSG has a lot of good and talented players. The best defender in the world like Ramos. Neymar, Mbappe and Icardi is very talented. They will be stronger if Messi comes to PSG. Now it is the coach's responsibility to stabilize the team. He will stabilize the team and improve the bonding between the players within the team. If there is no mutual understanding between the players, they will not get good results as a team.
Players of this level need a reputable coach who can keep a good discipline in the team. If in the team players like Ramos or Neymar will bend their line, then there can be no question of any result, because first of all it will be necessary to improve the situation within the team. I don't know how influential Pochatino will be in such a stellar team as PSG, only time will tell if he is able to manage such a team.

With this message, we can say that PSG have been very busy in the transfer market this season with the arrival of Sergio Ramos and Hakimi to the club based in the French capital, further increasing their competition in the European Champions League competition this season, with the current squad that is not guarantee that PSG will go smoothly to get the big ear trophy this season, especially considering that for example they are still inexperienced in playing in European competitions, it is quite interesting for us to see about PSG's progress in the Champions League this season, it is quite interesting for us. Watch about PSG's progress in the Champions League this season

PSG don't have much experience in the Champions League but the players who were there were  the main players in the UCL from a different club
If it's true that Messi is part of PSG I estimate PSG's chance of winning is 70% . I'm not a PSG supporter, it's just that I predict based on the line up of players

Do you think that with Messi at PSG, will it be this year that they will be able to reach the final?
Or will they suffer the same problem as other big clubs, having many stars in the same squad?

Paris Saint-Germain played in final in previous season but they couldn't beat Bayern München. At that time Bayern was unstoppable. Maybe they can get Champions League trophy this season but it's too early to talk about. We don't know which teams they will have to face after group stage, an unlucky draw may blow their chances early. Even without Messi they were one of the favorites but after Messi comes they will surely raise their chances. You know there is also another statistics that teams can't win trophy when it's first time in Champions League final, so PSG passed this stage in 2020.

Where do you see these odds, could you provide a link? To be honest, they look unrealistic, because if we place a bet on each of these 4 outcomes for $ 100, then for any outcome we will be in profit by at least $ 20, and a maximum by ~ 900.
Maybe you have confused something?
By the way, I am glad that the chances of moving to the English championship are greater than in PSG, I would not want Messi to be there.

PSG will remain a solid club next season despite having a lot of star players if there is Messi in the squad. I think other players will use Messi as their influencer when they are on the pitch. He is a legend, just like Ibrahimovic was at Milan. or Ronaldo at Juventus. Even though there are many stars, he is an idol of many players, so I think this will affect the effort to play with these star players.

I agree! It's not enough to have good players, they need to be able to understand each other well on the field. Now it remains to be seen whether Mauricio Pochettino will manage to create the ideal tactic for PSG and keep the group together.

PSG and City look like clear favorites, and Bayern and Real probably still look better than Chelsea. They did win it last season and did strengthen, but PSG strengthened a lot more and City will probably too (I expect Kane to end up there).

PSG will have very good players this season but that doesn't mean they will have a very good team, a set of very good individuals does not make a very good team.
The PSG coach will have a very difficult task to build a very good and balanced team, and it will take time for him to do so.
For me besides PSG and Manchester City, the favorites of this competition still remain Real, Barcelona, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern and Juventus and very few details will decide in the end.
Money can't buy a result and it's been beautifully seen in recent years with PSG and Manchester City.

What I find quite disturbing is Chelsea odds, I mean they won the last version, they improved their team with good players and still have weird odds!

It is kinda normal, odds on Chelsea winning last season were probably way higher than of them winning it this season. The bookies always look at team strength when defining odds, both in first 11 quality and overall depth.

I think Chelsea is not in the list of biggest favorites but exactly in a bucket below, where the bookies placed them.

Some surprising results in Champions League Qualifications, Rangers lost from Malmo and it could be second club from Scotland to miss Champions League if they don't win at home next leg.
I expected Olympiacos to win but they only managed to get a 1:1 draw in last minutes of the match, and now Ferencvaros is leading with two goals against Slavia Prague.
Second leg is going to be even harder to predict but my early pick is on Rangers to win.

For me there were no big surprises, Celtic and Rangers are not the teams they used to be, but Rangers still have a chance for promotion. But it won't be easy.

For both Prague teams it will be over in this round, but they will both continue in the Europa League group stage and there they can collect points.
Rangers lost and will have to win big at home. Gerrard is a really good manager and will probobly make a good tactic they arent fighting a tough opponent but they will have to play outstanding at home to win. Slavia Prague lost due to a goalkeeper mistake and has to recover two goals

Well, they don't have to win that big I would say. If they can score a 2 to 0 they get the job done, and even with a 2 - 1 they make it to extra time. It will be hard though if Malmo manages to score first there, but the Rangers are definitely at tough opponent for almost any team in a home game.

I still see a good chance for Rangers and promotion, but you shouldn't underestimate Malmö, as RedBull Salzburg have seen a few times when they lost to Malmö as favourites or were knocked out in the play-offs. Malmö has become a good middle class team in Europe in recent years and you should not underestimate them from the start.

Nono, definitely not underestimating them. Malmö can certainly achieve a draw at the Rangers and even win a close match on a good day. They do have the quality to do that. On the other hand the Rangers are a strong team at home and I still see this as being a 50:50 one.

Does anyone know the current odds of PSG winning the CL now that Messi's on the brink of joining them?

Might be a good idea to take advantage of this market if it's still available (and bookies offer it at this time) before a deal is confirmed.
I didn't follow the evolution of odds previously but right now it is 4.4 for PSG and 4.2 for City, Chelsea @10?? and ManU @13. I don't see the other teams able to compete those 4 and PSG, although having less chance than City considering the actual odds, seems to be the best in term of players skills especially if we count Messi on!

It has always been the case over the last few years that ManCity and PSG have been the highest favorites, and they have never won. It will be the same again this year. Even if PSG gets Messi, they won't win the CL. For one simple reason: they are not a real team. In the last few years, teams that were a united team have always won. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.

Man City are a good club too, they play great in the home championship! It's just that Chelsea have more experience in Champions League matches, they've won the Champions League title twice...
As for PSG, I think they could well win this season... They've played great in the past as well!

I also say this is the best year for PSG they have been waiting for this title for too long so this is a great opportunity for them, PSG have a strong line-up this season and news of Messi's move to PSG is getting closer I can't imagine how they play with such a composition of players.

What about Bayern, I agree, this is a real team, a single organism, but Chelsea does not seem to me to be a best team than Manchester City. Guardiola made a good team out of City, but managing such a team is difficult because there are many stars and everyone wants to prove themselves. Chelsea are just a team that wants to win, without showing off, perhaps this has become their main trump card in victory.
