Before the match I had no doubt that Man City would win, but when I saw the huge difference in odds, I bet on a Chelsea win! It seemed strange to me that the bookmakers made Man City the favorite... And I wasn't wrong! Grin
But the match seemed to me boring...

Oh, you made a huge profit then. Congrats to Chelsea and to you as well.  Grin  The match was not the best as Chelsea started just defending after getting ahead. City didn't play as I expected and they really surprised me. Fortunately, Mahrez blowed the biggest chance of his team in the last minute. Because City didn't deserve the title a bit. Chelsea were wonderful and showed their experience in this tournament. They are much better with Tuchel now.

After 9 years of waiting for the UCL title, it is finally completed today. Congratulations Chelsea you are playing effective football. Less ball possession, attempted kicks, only 1 difference from the city. The city is beating you up all the time, but you are able to perform well. You made the city of Manchester cry again today. Tuchel added to the German coach's dominance of winning the UCL after Klopp and Flick.

Great appreciation for Tuchel has managed to quickly bring Chelsea back and it is not an easy job, being sacked by PSG, losing the FA Cup and losing his last EPL match, but Tuchel managed to make a big surprise by becoming the UCL champion. Indeed, there were those who predicted this result (Chelsea won) but I'm sure it wasn't much and big congratulations to them and whoever won today, you are extraordinary people and full of surprises.
Thomas Tuchel, right now it deserves to be called the special one! Cool
Manchester City was considered the favorite of the match and in fact, given the composition and performance of the team this season, but in every single match anything can happen and Chelsea won this match, won deservedly. Now it is absolutely certain that Guardiola will stay at the club for next season, because having won everything in England, he wants to finally win the Champions League after a ten-year break. To the past Spanish-German coaching stand - off between Guardiola and Klopp, Tuchel has now been added, who has won the last three games against City with a technical touch. I would like to congratulate Tuchel on joining the elite club of coaches who have won the Champions League.

Even though my prediction was wrong and I also suffered a big loss because I bet on Manchester City's victory. But I admit that Chelsea deserves
to be winners of the Champions League this season, congratulations to Chelsea and all of their supporters. I agree with Chelsea's victory because
Tuchel did use the right strategy to face Manchester City. Now in the Premier League, making Tuchel the best coach besides Klopp and Guardiola.
I can not wait for the competition next season.

guys, 30 years old isn't old, if anything is about the time when a footballer is close to reaching his peak in performance. Seriously, this isn't FIFA  Roll Eyes real life isn't a videogame where a players stats start to go down as soon as they hit the 30yo mark. Look at Lewa (32), Messi (33), Modric (36), Suarez (34), CR7 (36), Rakitic (33), Kroos (31), Benzema (33), Jordi Alba (32), Dani Parejo (32),Thiago Silva (36), etc, etc.

It is not old but you starting to be slower.
In 2 years he will probably lose something and he can't be at the apex.

Anyway, he will be strong for 4 more years probably.

so now it's up to them to pick themselves up, and look to next season, they could prolly win it then.

they won the premier league and got lazy, i already predicted that they would easily lose this game, because as they won the premier league in a very comfortable way they allowed them to relax and to make their opponent worse it was just a premier league team that was in difficulty, this whole scenario made the city enter the field underestimating chelsea. on the other side the chelesa comes from games of all or nothing, they were more than prepared psychologically and with a greater desire to win to save this season.

Pep Guardiola opened the game in an unusual formation without the classic back midfielder. As a result of Guardiola's experiment, Chelsea played exceptionally well in the first half as City were unaccustomed to playing in that formation. It seems Tuchel is proving a better coach at the moment.
I was quite surprised to see City start in such an unusual way, Pep had to start either Rodri or Fernandinho, but he wrongly chose not to, leaving City exposed to waves of Chelsea counter attacks, I think pep tinkered too much in this final, I don't have an idea why Sterling was in the starting line up tonight, he has not started any really important game for City in months, Pep should have just stuck with the team that played against PSG in the semi final second leg.

It is what it is though, but City need to learn from this disappointment, they have come this close, so now it's up to them to pick themselves up, and look to next season, they could prolly win it then.
I am not lying in wait for you at the time of stumbling, but I am following you throughout your career with the champions, man, well I will remind you and remember,
Pep against Tottenham in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals .Guardiola left De Bruyne on the bench and thus his attack was futile and defeated 1-0 against Tottenham The second leg corrected his mistake and introduced De Bruyne, but in return he left Fernandinho on the bench and made Gundogan as a focal player and conceded three goals at the Etihad Stadium and was eliminated.
Against Lyon, he abandoned Mahrez and played with three defenders and changed his plan completely, and Lyon hit him from the blanks. In front of Chelsea, Fernandinho and Rodri left on the bench and played without a foothold, and thus exposed his back to Chelsea and lost again. And someone comes to tell you that he is not responsible .
all City eliminations from the champions are caused by Guardiola, because defeat with a logical formation is less than the funny philosophy pursued by Pep always in order to highlight himself as the exceptional in that match, but every time he comes out kicking his opponents And he fails in the mission for which he originally came for City.

Ya. That formation messed things very bad. The likes of G.Jesus and Aguero were left on the bench for Sterling who was heavily overpowered by Reece James. Guardiola is a top coach in Europe, I wonder why he chose today of all days to try out an experimental formation and tactics. I must admit that Tuchel had this one planned out well. City didn't get enough space around Chelsea's defense while Kante tore City's midfield apart every time they countered. City had a really good opportunity to win the title and lost it. I really thought they would win it (major reason why my money was on city). Anyway, I wouldn't hope too much om another trial. PSG was in a similar situation last year and wasn't able to come this far. Don't forget UCL gets tougher with every passing season.

Congratulations to Chelsea. The best team would tonight.

Congratulations to Chelsea on their massive triumph today in the UEFA champions league final, to become London England, highest UEFA champions league winners, I don't know if they are the only London team to have won it.
Clean and very educated play from Chelsea, don't know if they all took yoga lessons before tonight, they where absolutely calm and motivated to win.
Manchester city where not poor, just so those who would bring luck into this should know, they have always been good in the champions league this season.

Chelsea deserved win and this is the second time in their history where they win sacking a coach during the season.

Yup quite sad that he's already 30

But truth be told, he's been Chelsea's main force behind their UCL success. I saw the way he played against Real Madrid and how he neutralized the likes of Toni Kroos and Modric and also initiated counter-attacks and realized something special was coming Chelsea's way and here we are.

Well he's already 30, but he has achieved quite a lot by most players' standards.

This was a very tensed match for both teams. Most especially for the Chelsea side. It was all a wish for Chelsea to win but then, it turned true and we saw Manchester City actually struggling to get a draw. Where it got really scary was with the crosses after Sergio Aguero came on. I really didn't know how the ball was actually reaching the 18yard box but then, Chelsea was really lucky they could not convert any.

Tuchel must be very proud of himself to have carried the team from where Frank Lamport left off and actually winning the UCL trophy.  It was so unexpected and only wished for but, here it is. Nice one form Kyl Haverts. He's goal was all that was needed to make the difference.

Congrats to the Blues! One single goal in the first half-time (42') from Kai Havertz had been enough to win the match against the Citizens. Chelsea showed it has a very strong defense and Manchester City has only been allowed to shoot 7 times and to get 3 corners.

Well deserved Chelsea win. Maybe it wasn't most exciting Champions league final we ever saw, but it wouldn't be possible for Chelsea to win in different style. How many dangerous City moments you can remember? It's sad that De Bruyne had to left pitch, but I don't think it was main factor today.
It's amazing what Tuchel did with Chelsea. Before season nobody had saw them as team that can win Champions league. Even Chelsea fans, I doubt that many of them expected for such success. Chelsea relly got luck that PSG sacked Tuchel.

Chelsea definitely deserved to win and reach the Champions League title. After Havertz scored their goal, they defended City players superbly and gave near zero dangerous chance to them. The most critical chance for City was in the last minute which Mahrez couldn't make use of.

Congratulations, Chelsea and the fans!

Ave Chelsea, Ave! [latin phrase]

[...] Well, everything is clear with Chelsea, they are my favorites ..
Despite a great season at Manchester City, I think everyone here underestimates Chelsea .. and I will definitely take advantage of the huge coefficient and bet on the Aristocrats to win as I am confident that this purely English final will end with Chelsea winning. [...]
I was guided only by the data of the interactive fan map ... and it looks like Chelsea will indeed be more comfortable playing in Portugal [...]
