There has been a lot of talk about the Chelsand Atletico fixture and yes there should, a lot of persons are really looking up to this match but then, the advance on Chelsea at the moment following the fact that, Atletico made a mess of themselves in the first leg and lost. This would make them want to pick up the challenge and come out to play more attacking football, a style for which Chelsea is growing into with Thomas Tuchel and it would be a mistake for Atletico.
Its going to be a tough and entertaining game for sure but then, I see another win for Chelsea in this encounter.

Another win for Chelsea sure seems like a long shot.  I know Chelsea were dominant in the first leg but I expect Atlético to fight back similar to how Juventus did against Porto even if they were unfortunate to lose in the end. Diego Simeone's men should something for us. Chelsea might not win but I have a good feeling they'd progress but not the kinda cruise you're expecting.

Real Madrid Atalanta is the game I cannot wait to watch tomorrow. All my support will go towards the nerazzurri as I trust they can play an excellent game and write their names in the CL History book if they are to conquer their spot in the next CL phase.
Odds are very nice too, so why not?

All hope isn't lost for Atalanta yet. They're just at a 1-goal deficit. It shouldn't be too hard for them to cover. Only problem is Madrid wants to go as far as possible for this year's UCL title. Tomorrow is decision day. We'd know.

The match that I wonder how it will end the most is Chelsea-Atletico. Because the first game of the draw surprised me too much and Atletico were like they had nothing to do against Chelsea's much better performance. The goal difference could have been more than 1 easily. They should be thankful for even that result and also they should fight with everything they have in Stamford Bridge. Because their job will be really hard here. We saw that Chelsea played really well against Leeds 2 days ago but there was a big problem on finishing. They really feel the absence of a good striker. They still outweigh Atletico in this game I think. And I also think both teams should score goal(s) easily this time but I feel like Chelsea will manage to eliminate Atletico with a draw or a win with 1-goal difference.

I think that the match is completely open and the chances are equal.
Atletico were very bad in the first meeting and I don’t believe they can play that bad again.
It will be a tough game with very little real football and real chances and probably the first goal will decide the winner.

If Segio Ramos has recovered and is now in training then I am sure that Real Madrid's defense will be stronger they will play perfectly with some players that can be counted on by competing in Berabeau the belief will be stronger so it is playing sometimes with points that are safe. .

Without star players, Atalanta has always been a tough opponent for all teams. This may be a new history for Atalanta if they return to qualify for the next round. The condition of Ramos, which may not be fully fit, is certainly a weakness for Real Madrid.  Even so, Madrid is a madrid who still has many quality players, Atalanta will definitely find it difficult to beat them.

In UCL history, only Inter, Juve and AC Milan have often competed in the Final, these three clubs are no longer at UCL, maybe if Atalanta qualify to the next round or even till semifinals, Atalanta looks like it will end here.

I took a bet on Real Madrid before because you can't ignore 3x odds for a former champion who has many veteran players. Atalanta plays very nice football and you've to give credit to them for changing up the way Italians play football in European competition but we've seen again and again what experience can do for players in this competition.

And more importantly, what a lack of experience can do.

Experience does not play a big role. The most important thing is desire, physical readiness and good tactics for the match. Juventus was a more experienced team than Porto. But this did not stop Porto from winning and passing to the next round. So Atalanta has every chance to beat Real Madrid and leave to the next round of the Champions League.

You are right, the luck factor also influences, but we cannot put aside Benzema's talent and the security that Sergio Ramos offers in defense, nothing more emotionally than those two play gives more security to the other players, they can play with more freedom because they know that their defensive and forward flanks are well positioned, at any moment a goal could come in their favor, in addition Zidane already has experience in this type of games, I am sure that he will not miss the opportunity to win and secure the place to the next round.

Benzema often misses scoring chances. He needs at least 3 chances to score one goal. True, there is no better than him now in Real Madrid. Ramos can fail at any moment. He is a very emotional player. But again, it is impossible to replace him equally now. All the same, Real Madrid today depends on Modric-Cross-Casemiro more than on everyone else, and the last match with Elche showed that.

I agree with it because Juventus should have definitely eliminated Porto with their experience as you said. But Porto played smart and kept calm until an opportunity comes to them. The free-kick was the opportunity and they benefited from it superbly. So, of course experience also helps a team here but I think playing smart is the best thing to do especially against a more powerful team in such games.

It seems that Sergio Ramos has also returned to training after he has recovered from a knee injury, so most likely Ramos will be played against Atalanta next Wednesday. Obviously, this is a good thing for Real Madrid, moreover, the second leg will be Real Madrid's home game at the Santiago Bernabeu. So I think Real Madrid has a greater chance to get through to the quarter-finals.

Of course, Atalanta would also play with all their efforts and they definitely want to turn things around but Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu is not an opponent to be trifled with.

Marcelo and Carvajal are injured but it is really good news that Ramos is back. There is also a possibility for Carvajal to be back also as he is expected to return on Mid March. Real Madrid will get stronger by their strong players' returns and will increase their advantage in the rematch. At Atalanta, Hateboer is expected to return on Mid March and there is no missing player except him. I think the best bet options for this match are 'both teams to score' and 'over 2.5'. Because both teams will be very willing to advance and I don't expect them to have scoring problems this time.

Liverpool's main goal was the Champions League. Because they have not been able to perform well since the beginning of the Premier League. And Liverpool is a very experienced team. Leipzig is not as experienced as them. Everyone assumed they could defeat Leipzig. But I don't think Liverpool will be able to reach the semi-finals. My guess is that they will be eliminated later in the quarter finals.
Their main goal should absolutely be winning the Champions League now of course. Something is really going so wrong in the EPL and they still can't prevent the simple point losses. Now they are in the quarter final in the CL and we don't know which team will be their opponent. If they have a draw with Porto, things could be easier for them rather than playing against other harder opponents. Even Porto could make big difficulties for them as Porto achieved an awesome thing by eliminating Juve.
Winning champions league is always a goal for almost every team, who would say "I rather not win it this year" ? Of course their goal will be that, but the reality is that we may not end up with a win that easily, Liverpool is playing horrible in premier league this year and there is a very very valid possibility that they may fail to go to champions league next year, it looks more and more likely hell they may end up not going to europa next year, that would be a huge shock to everyone in the world but looks like it is quite possible by the looks of the standings.

That is my point. Winning the champions league title is the main goal of all teams who have been selected to go to the next round. But you have to perform well to win the title. But Liverpool's performance is too weak if we compare them to PSG, Bayern or City. It is not possible to win a title on a platform like the Champions League with poor performance. Perform better, or leave the Champions League.

Madrid will surely go through to the QF, the problem is with Chelsea, Athletico are a pretty strong team and anything could happen in the second leg, but the thing is that for now, the advantage rests with Chelsea.
Madrid is an UCL team and no doubt, they could go the far length and over do there challenges to ensure they scale through to the quarter final at least. For them, there rep in the UCL is at stake, the people that should rather worry much would be Chelsea as the team is not all that stable now. Though they've got an UCL experienced coach even if he hasn't been lucky with the trophy,  he could do a lot in motivating the players to be at there best on the pitch and perhaps win the next stage.
So, I expect nothing but an interesting UCL as always.

Liverpool did great on Leipzig, they left them no chances by winning both home and away matches without conceiving goal. 4 goals aggregate. It wasn't expected.

The problem is for Chelsea and Madrid, they scored only 1 goal, their opponents are quite good and in case of a draw, it will be very complicated. I think one of those teams will be eliminated.
Imo, I don't see how that's a problem, they both played against good quality teams, if anything, what they have is a very good advantage going into the second leg, in the UCL, it's very important to win the first leg tie, that's not to say the opposition cannot do a comeback, but that's only if the leading team allows the advantage to slip away.

Having a 1-goal advantage is very important for Chelsea of course but Atletico can still make a comeback and advance to the quarter final also. But we must accept that it is a very hard thing to do in Stamford Bridge against a Chelsea which have had a very good performance recently. It feels like Chelsea are closer to the quarter final comparing to Atletico to me. I think the match will end up with a 1-1 or 2-2 draw and Chelsea will advance.
Atleteco will try hard to score the first goal and this will open some gaps through the defence and i believe chelsea can score mone than 1 goal in this match...i believe the advantage that chelsea have will be enough for them

Messi and Ronaldo are great players. But 11 people play football. And one person cannot win the game. He needs the help of other players from the team. Yesterday Messi did everything he could. But the team could not support him. Barcelona must definitely strengthen the team. Otherwise, you can forget about winning the Champions League for the next few years.

You are right, but remember that Messi also missed a penalty, and it was imperative that he did not miss it, however the Champions League gets exciting, although it is not the same as waiting for a confrontation between Messi and Ronaldo, on the other hand I liked the goal Mohamed Salah's Liverpool, it's nice to see Liverpool in the quarter-finals.

Even if Messi had scored from the penalty spot, it is possible that PSG would have scored the second goal, or the match would have simply ended with that score, since Psg did not play at full strength, essentially giving the ball to Barcelona and was simply defending the whole match.

What might come good for Lazio against Bayern when they just took 2 goals from Crotone ? If they gonna play like against Bayern , I have a feeling that they will make a big show against them and we most likely gonna see at least 4 goals from Bayern. Why I believe this ? Simply because Lazio put all the efforts into UCL this year and unfortunately they played against Bayern who is simply at it's best shape in the last 7 years.
I did not know Lazio started the season with the clear goal of winning Champions League! I think you are a bit mistaken here.
Lazio secured a pass to the Champions League group stage 13 years after the last time, led by their bomber Ciro Immobile. Lazio's aim was to confirm their top tier positioning in Serie A in a season in which resources had to be managed on several fronts.
Therefore, it was great they reached this stage but they will go out with Bayern, end of story.

Teams like City, Bayern, PSG and so forth all could beat them on next round.
