Why can’t we play like that in the PL damn it. Leipzig are 2 points behind the great, all conquering Bayern team in Germany, we have just beaten them 4-0 over 2 legs. Crazy stuff, how do we play like this in the CL but lose every week to crap teams in the PL. Maybe the CL can be good for us this season, we are not favourites but we can be a tough opponent for anybody. Bring on the 1/4 finals.
Premier league play and champions league one is completly diffrent. Liverpool only has champions league left to make something out of this terrible season. And like you said they gone pass against Leipzig so thats a huge step

I agree that the Premier League and the Champions League are different competitions, so maybe Liverpool are under more pressure when
they play in the Premier League. Because Liverpool last season won the Premier League, so requiring them to play well, this is what makes Liverpool players depressed. Whereas in the Champions League, they are more able to play independently, so Liverpool players can give their best performance.
It is very worthy of Liverpool to qualify for the next round by successfully beating Leipzig, and the Champions League is now Liverpool's only hope of
being able to get a trophy this season.

i think not about pressure
but all center back senior liverpool player injury, virgil vandijk, joe martip, joe gomez, and fabinho
so liverpool defence not good

well, it would've been nice for Barcelona to have a Penaldo on their team to score that pen in such a decisive and crucial and possibly game-changing moment, right?  Cheesy  penaldo doesn't miss pens, that's why they call him penaldo

friendly reminder that in the 2005 season,  liverpool were pretty awful in the PL, but they won the CL that year...another friendly reminder: this year's CL final will be played at Istanbul...just saying

PSG going well, they didn't play the parking bus scheme, PSG play as usual
do they usually give up on the ball and the attacking mindset and simply stay back to defend a lead in the aggregate score? is that how they played in the group stages and in the first leg of this round?

PSG going well, they didn't play the parking bus scheme, PSG play as usual, Mbappe creates the first goal which indirectly creates high pressure on Barcelona team especially Lionel (failed penalty). This year not for Barcelona and Juventus (Messi and Ronaldo), I have a prediction PSG will going to the Final in Istanbul.

good day to bet IMO...
Liverpool vs Leipzig = I bet on Liverpool.
PSG vs Barca = I bet on PSG, not sure Barca can win in this second match after the painful results in the first leg.

I backed both Liverpool and PSG to win, despite Liverpool's recent struggles I believe that they're whole season is at stake right now so they'd need to come up with great results.

I should have gone with Barcelona, but I just can't see the team going through and I assume that over commitment might hurt Barcelona.
PSG did advance to the next round but I lost the bet in this match 'lol'...
To be honest, I was surprised by Barca's 73% ball possession of the match, but their luck was not in this match. me, lost in the PSG vs Barca match but won in the Liverpool vs Leipzig match. *not a totally bad day 'lol

PSG is my favorite team now in this Champions.
IMO the winner will be one of these 3, Manchester City, PSG, and ofcourse Bayern.
oil money for the win, without respecting the rules for the win.

If this continues, it will be very difficult for Barcelona, Messi has to put the team on his shoulder and his team help him, give him everything to score a goal,
if PSG scores another he liquidates them instantly because scoring 6 goals is very heavy.

Mbappé will not be beaten this time. All Barcelona is attacking, their lines are advanced.
Sorry but Barcelona is already virtually eliminated and PSG qualified, it's just a matter of few minutes remaining now. I've bet on FC Barcelona or Draw on Stake. I hope PSG won't want to score before the end of the match despite being already qualified.
Yes, PSG know for sure they will qualify and only need 1 goal Barcelona will be increasingly difficult to catch up in the first leg.
Barcelona's game is very maximal and there are also many opportunities to score including penalty opportunities but PSG's defense and goalkeeper are very strong, it is not easy for Barcelona to win against PSG because they have to need 4 goals to win, and PSG is not an easy opponent because their team is very strong.

Slava Ukraini!
Barca had great first half, we dominated it. But Messi missed penalty (or I should say Navas saved it). If he would have scored it, I think that 2nd half would be completely different. On 2nd half we had ball posession, but havetn't made almost nothing dangerous. Also, Koeman didn't had any players on bench who would be able to improve game. If Braithwaite is our best player on bench, it says a lot about depth of Barca squad.
So, first in 16 years, quarter final will be without Messi and Ronaldo. End of era?
Haven't saw Liverpool game. They already had confident lead after first leg. But I think this win is very important for them, considering how bad they were recently. Time to move Anfield to Budapest?

I never expected to say it one day, but the real fans of Barcelona should be proud of his team after his performance in the second leg against Saint-Germain, the team was better by a difference, and had it not been for the lack of focus and bad luck in some balls, he would actually be able to come back in the result.
The word "if" has no place in the dictionary, so Barcelona came out due to his very poor performance by going, but in the second leg the team played correctly, there was intensity, intensity, vitality, audacity, spirit, and personality.
Barcelona's problem in this match is in defense and attack, the naive mistake in the penalty kick, wasting more than 5 chances and a penalty kick inside the penalty area as well, but as the whole team showed great improvement, and a spirit that has been absent in these European confrontations for some time.

I can't believe Liverpool is winning against in form Leipzig, could it be the neutral ground helping because had it been Anifield....this might have been a different result.

Current score: Liverpool 2-0 RB Leipzig

Were it not for the bar and the brilliant Navas, the Remontada would have been completed in the first half !! Barcelona made its best game with Koeman, and Paris inhabited by fear and nightmares of 2017, a game in which Barca excelled technically, tactically and mentally, but the result stubbornly and remained tied ..
Now 65 minutes in but i don't think there Is hope left.

PSG BARCA 1-1 1st half, Messi missed a penalty but.

Messi answered with a great goal to Mbappe but it was really unfortunate that he missed a very valuable penalty while the first half was nearly ending. If he scored it, maybe things could be different now and Barcelona could have their hopes up for the quarter final. But there are 30 minutes left and I don't think they will manage to score at least 3 goals without conceding any.

PSG BARCA 1-1 1st half, Messi missed a penalty but.

A very exciting match  Grin ... The penalty executed by Kylian Mbappe gave PSG a 1-0 lead over Barcelona but in the 37th-minute Messi managed to score a goal and made the score a draw. Even though the match still had 45 minutes left but Barcelona's chances to beat PSG are very tough. To get through to the Quarter-finals, Barcelona still needs 4 more goals (with the condition that PSG no longer scoring goals).

PSG BARCA 1-1 1st half, Messi missed a penalty but.

I have a question, where is the second yellow and the following red card for Kurzawa?
He got yellow card minutes earlier and that should be a second yellow card.

Baecelona players are trying hard to score the first goal and make things less complicated...already 8 goal attempts but just 2 shots on goal...they must be more desesive in the last touch and its very important for them to score at least one goal in the first half
