I don't expect many surprises in City and Bayern matches, they can receive a goal or two but it is unlikely that those teams will not score at least one goal, so the game is almost done there.
It is believed that Manchester City and Bayern Munchen will qualify for the next round because they have excelled in the first leg. These two team are more dominant over their opponent and maybe they will win in the second leg too.

The problem is for Chelsea and Madrid, they scored only 1 goal, their opponents are quite good and in case of a draw, it will be very complicated. I think one of those teams will be eliminated.
These must be two difficult match as Real Madrid and Chelsea are only 1 goal ahead in the first leg. Atalanta and Atletico Madrid still have a chance to surprise their two opponent with quick goals. I only hope that one of the two Spanish team progresses to the next round and Real Madrid has a great chance of that. Real Madrid will be playing at home and that will provide more motivation for their players.

This is what will be more difficult between Chelsea and Atletico both of them can reverse direction because we know before Atletico last season were able to beat Liverpool by surprise.
On the other hand the two are good at each other between leagues and this is the second leg of determining who will qualify for the next round.
On the other hand, I also believe that Chelsea and Tuchel currently have how to face the big teams at UEFA and this can still be a threat to both of them because in my opinion 1 goal is not the determinant of victory.

Manchester City are going to have the rematch against Gladbach in their home stadium and they have a 2-0 score advantage as we all know. They didn't tire themselves much when they got this result. I also understand Gladbach as they have an opponent which is one of the favorites for winning the CL so they don't have much to do against City. They still did a good job by making it to this round and Manchester City will finish the job by getting another win I think.

hmph..

If Segio Ramos has recovered and is now in training then I am sure that Real Madrid's defense will be stronger they will play perfectly with some players that can be counted on by competing in Berabeau the belief will be stronger so it is playing sometimes with points that are safe. .

Without star players, Atalanta has always been a tough opponent for all teams. This may be a new history for Atalanta if they return to qualify for the next round. The condition of Ramos, which may not be fully fit, is certainly a weakness for Real Madrid.  Even so, Madrid is a madrid who still has many quality players, Atalanta will definitely find it difficult to beat them.

In UCL history, only Inter, Juve and AC Milan have often competed in the Final, these three clubs are no longer at UCL, maybe if Atalanta qualify to the next round or even till semifinals, Atalanta looks like it will end here.

I'm not also thinking of betting on this match. Because it is really hard to make a correct prediction. Like @Spack17 said, I also feel like both teams will score at least a goal in this match. But when it comes to which side will advance, everything is possible. Real can be better at finishing this time but we also know how much deadly Atalanta can be on scoring also.

it's one of those matches that is difficult to predict
but the closer we get to the end of the competition the harder it becomes to figure out who wins (and in theory the games are more fun)

I get to this point usually I don't bet anymore, for fun I just need to watch the games Smiley
I bet a few euros just to have fun

It seems that Sergio Ramos has also returned to training after he has recovered from a knee injury, so most likely Ramos will be played against Atalanta next Wednesday. Obviously, this is a good thing for Real Madrid, moreover, the second leg will be Real Madrid's home game at the Santiago Bernabeu. So I think Real Madrid has a greater chance to get through to the quarter-finals.

Of course, Atalanta would also play with all their efforts and they definitely want to turn things around but Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu is not an opponent to be trifled with.

I don't know whether this second leg will reverse direction or not, what is clear is that Atalanta will be more dominant and continue to attack at full strength in order to make up for the Madrid goal here we know the match for Atalanta lives and dies must play attacking.

Liverpool-Leipzig match ended just as I predicted and Liverpool have advanced to the quarter final nicely. It was really interesting to see that Liverpool still were able to eliminate Leipzig despite their very poor performance in the Premier League and Leipzig's very good form in their league also. This really proves how much important being an experienced team is in a big tournament.
Liverpool's main goal was the Champions League. Because they have not been able to perform well since the beginning of the Premier League. And Liverpool is a very experienced team. Leipzig is not as experienced as them. Everyone assumed they could defeat Leipzig. But I don't think Liverpool will be able to reach the semi-finals. My guess is that they will be eliminated later in the quarter finals.

Their main goal should absolutely be winning the Champions League now of course. Something is really going so wrong in the EPL and they still can't prevent the simple point losses. Now they are in the quarter final in the CL and we don't know which team will be their opponent. If they have a draw with Porto, things could be easier for them rather than playing against other harder opponents. Even Porto could make big difficulties for them as Porto achieved an awesome thing by eliminating Juve.

Things are changing, team Barca not as strong to compete as before. Missing penalties by Messi is crucial moments. Barcelona team are missing consistency and beautiful rivalry. Anyway, Messi and Ronaldo both started their career as winner who proved the countless times to the world and it's privilege to witness these two legends.

Yeah, I know and realize that. I was myself personally in favor of just doing a complete rebuild, even if it means not competing on any stage but it seems we still are in a fight for the league and the cup, which personally makes me feel like it gives us a false sense of security in that we aren't as bad as we are (but we are!).

As you said, still such a privilege to witness them every game. I'm so thankful for every match we can see especially when we see such beautiful goals like in the last game:)

I look forward to seeing the Real Madrid-Atalanta match next week. Benzema has come back from his injury and scored even a goal against Atletico.  Grin  He is very important for the team now and he will be able to play against Atalanta this time. I expect them to be more effective when it comes to scoring. Atalanta have nothing to lose, on the other hand. And they will play with all they have to eliminate Real away. I'll probably place a bet on 'both teams to score' and enjoy the game.  Grin
Atalanta is a very good team in term of scoring and i dont want to think that real madridis already qualified...2 goals is very easy for them againts any club in the world and i believe if they can score a goal in the first minutes real madrid mission will be very hard

I hope too, if u see previus game.. Atalanta in 10 men not take any goal
Real Madrid suffering so much, and in my hearth i hope Atalanta win

for this match i dont put any bet, i want to see for funny.. if Atalanta win, good.. neither we try next year.. i only hope is funny game

At the start of the season, Champions league wasn't our main goal. Our main goal was to win the Premier league title for the second year in a row after waiting 30 years to get the first one. But things got bad when several of our crucial players started getting injured resulting in multiple cup exits and losing our premier league position to title rivals. So right now, Champions league is the only competition that we still have a shot at winning.  But it's a long short due to our current form.

PSG is my favorite team now in this Champions.
IMO the winner will be one of these 3, Manchester City, PSG, and ofcourse Bayern.
oil money for the win, without respecting the rules for the win.
I like where you going with this, these are Titans of the competition and one of my FIFA favourite teams too  Tongue but only one problem are we going to have a team that has not won it before or the usual names will continue where they left from?
From the look of things, It will have to either go to Germany or Spain if you calculate the probability of each team progressing at this stage.

Btw put Liverpool on your watchlist as they are bidding to play next seasons champions league and their only ticket is winning it which will save them the embarrassment but this won't be any easy.
PSG is now becoming a force to be reckon with in UCL they came close to winning the coveted trophy but lost to Bayern Munich in a keenly contested match last season,  I am also supporting PSG to be a major contender this season going by their experience in the competition although there are good opponents that will give them a run of their money, while I wouldn't pick Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea to be threat to their aspiration Real Madrid and  Bayern are the main challenger in the competition

Messi and Ronaldo are great players. But 11 people play football. And one person cannot win the game. He needs the help of other players from the team. Yesterday Messi did everything he could. But the team could not support him. Barcelona must definitely strengthen the team. Otherwise, you can forget about winning the Champions League for the next few years.

Exactly!
If only Barcelona's management and their coach had been smarter and kept Suarez they would now be in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Instead, they kept Dembele who would not have scored a goal last night in Paris even if the teams had played all day and night  Grin Grin
Meanwhile, Suarez leads Atletico to the Spanish title.
