today, besides the europe league, also the groups of this year's conference league season have been drawn. in the following graphic you can see the groups and maybe find your favorite club again. furthermore, the respective squad values are displayed for each club.
if you had to go by this value, then aston villa (€604m) is the top favorite for the cup and the two clubs from klaksvik (faroe islands) and breidablik (iceland) with €3m squad value each are the complete outsiders in this competition

From what I see, Aston Villa, Eintracht, Fenerbahce and Besikita are the teams that, in my opinion, have a good chance of becoming champions, I could even include Lille, but they are not having an acceptable performance in Ligue 1 and in yesterday's game against rijeka, they won with a lot of difficulty, and knowing that rijeka is not a very strong team, so I don't see lille having any chance of being champion, if aston villa continues to have this good performance then they have much more chances of winning the conference league than the other teams, in the premier league aston villa is also doing well, so they are the main candidates to win the conference league. one of the biggest problems in this league is that when the favorite teams to win this league are not doing well in their leagues

coaches choose to play with team B in this league, last season I lost money in many games I bet on in that league because I bet before seeing the squad and after I lost and I realized that the team played with a weak squad to save players for their country's league matches, this is one of the problems of betting on this league when the group stage matches are onwards and also aware of the matches of local leagues and cups team coaches give less priority to games from the conference league, I hope this season I don't see that

It's been a good night for the Turkish teams. Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe played better against their opponents and won their matches. This was the expected result, both better teams than their opponents. But Adana Demirspor could not go to the next round.
They played a good match and it was a very long fight, but they lost the match in the penalty shootout. It's a shame that one of the team's best players missed a penalty. Unfortunately, Adana's goalkeeper did not perform well in penalty shootouts Sad

Yesterday I watched whole of Adana Demirspor - Genk match. It was hell of a ride. Very enjoyable match. Adana Demirspor had physical issues compared to Genk, but have very skilled players. Adana Demirspor could beat them with 1 goal eventually but Genk had many many chances because Adana was sometimes having issues controlling ball at midfield (mostly because of stamina). In extra time Genk was lot better than Adana and sort of deserved to win at penalties. After all Genk has very young and high stamina team in my opinion, they can possibly go to round after group stage at conference league.

Brugge - Osasuna, what a great game, true roller-coaster. At one point Osasuna were already leading 0:2 and such result was enough for them, but in 2nd half Brugge made response with 2 goals and they earned spot in group stage. Legia - Midtjylland was also good game, made not that many moments, but lot of drama and penalty shootout. And after penalties Legia goes to group stage.
Interesting fact - after loss to Besiktas, it's first time in 18 years when Dynamo Kyiv failed to reach group stage of UEFA tournament. Probably such outcome isn't surprising, in recent years they went down a lot.

Vincent Aboubakar scored a very good goal and Beşiktaş went to the groups.

It was a comfortable game for Fenerbahçe, they won 1-0 and went to the groups.

Adana Demirspor fought well and won 1-0 but lost on penalties. It was a bad result. Sad

Beşiktaş is gonna have one of the most important matches of their history because conference league is very important to get some points for better pots/seed in later years at higher tournaments. Beşiktaş is strong team and Dinamo Kiev should not be match for them comparing current squads. After defeating them at away Beşiktaş should be able to beat them at İstanbul as well. Beşiktaş deserves a lot with their fanbase. Gedson Fernandes is very important box to box player in my opinion.

Yeah this match just started and Besiktas tried to press the attack in the early minutes, they know that even though they have won in the first leg they are not safe enough because they are only one goal ahead on aggregate this means that Besiktas needs to score another goal in order to be in the safe zone. I also watched the match between FC Twente vs Fenerbahce, actually, Fenerbahce is safe after winning with a big score in the first leg but here I expect Twente to try to turn things around so there will be lots of goals  but unfortunately so far no goals my bet is on over 2.55 goals lol.

Yeah Rijeka holds so much last night against Lille, but in the end the tie exit from his hands.

For me Brugge win yesterday was a really big one, because Osasuna in his home its not an easy task to overcome, i know Brugge have more experience playing in europe than Osasuna, but Osasuna still playing in a much more high level league like the spanish one.

I always fancy the Belgians, and I got away with backing Antwerp last night (qualification for UCL) so I have no problem with Brugge again tonight but the odds that caught my eye was for Rapid Wien (which I posted on my thread) -- hugely experienced at this level, no doubt the Italians are probably better but I think they can nick this game. Not to mention they did win the home tie! Still 0-0 now.

Everything else is too dangerous for the odds, but I watched Kiev/Besiktas first leg and while it failed to live up to the fire, it was an ok game to see so maybe the return leg gets them more angry.

Beşiktaş won the first game but Dynamo Kiev is a strong opponent, they need to prepare well.

Dynamo Kiev play very good compact football. Besiktaş had an important advantage against them in the first match, but they will have to be very careful in the second match. Dynamo Kiev play the passing game very well. Even when the match is going on at a normal or low tempo, they can suddenly create a position with a counter attack and be effective in the opponent's penalty area. The two goals they scored in the first match and especially the first goal they scored shows how easily they can do this. Beşiktaş defense will have to be very careful in tomorrow's match...

We have three games tomorrow.
Adana Demirspor, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş.

It will be an easy game for Fenerbahçe because they won the first match 5-1.

Adana Demirspor should prepare very well for this game because they lost the first game 2-1. I hope they will win differently tomorrow.

I wish the best of luck to the teams that will fight for a place in the European Conference League tomorrow. Fenerbahce will go to Twente away from home comfortably. Because their 5-1 win in the first leg was more than enough for them. That's why I think the odds are strangely given, as it is thought that Fenerbahce will be rotated, when normally Fenerbahce should be shown as favorites again. For some reason I will be one of those who expect Fenerbahce to win again with a different score.
Adana Demirspor will have a tough match ahead of them. Adana will want to win the game at home after losing the first leg away from home with a 1-0 lead but conceding a goal in the second half. One different score will take the match to extra time, while 2 different victories are required.
Beşiktaş, on the other hand, will play a very comfortable match at home as they beat Dynamo Kiev away with a goal in the last minute. Dinamo Kiev will play well despite being away, but I don't expect them to go through. Beşiktaş will win this match with a good game.

Wow, Nordsjaelland (almost broke my keyboard typing it) crushed Partizan 5:0. That's really painful, I'm looking at Partizan results and seems that it was one of the most painful defeats in more than 20 years.
Fenerbahche 5:1 Twente and before game I thought that's more or less equal teams. Didn't saw game, so, when I noticed results I thought that my eyes is lying. Watched Dynamo Kyiv - Besiktas game, it was fun, real roller coaster with goal on 95th minute Besiktas goal that let them to win game. Turkish clubs is looking so powerful in Europe this season.

I see Rijeka almost gave Lille a scare last night, or mayhaps gave their own fans a scare haha. Bodo/Glimt and Midtylland didn't get their jobs done but spare a thought for Club Brugge... not so long ago in UCL.

P.S. Heh Slam, I see the spam getting to you. No need to mention why I mod these threads but they are generally extremely unpopular, people flock to megathreads. Pools are where the league discussions are at but because cup comps like these are irregular, pools would only make sense for UCL.

Until the, you have to manually report spam or block/ignore Wink

AZ tie against Brann surely destroy so much bets, i dont have any doubt about that.

Adana Demirspor played very well in the first half last night, but they were bad in the second half. Genk played better in the second half and they won the match. This was bad for Adana Demirspor. I hope they win in Adana.
Adana Demirspor managed to dominate the game in the first half and Genk looked difficult to keep up with Adana Demirspor's game in the first half.
Genk started to show a good game when the second half started and managed to score 2 goals in the second half until the end of the game, with these 2 goals Genk won over Adana Demirspor with a score of 2 - 1.
Leg 2 will be held on September 1 and if Genk can get an advantage or only maintain a draw then Genk will be the winner until they get a safe position.

At the opposite of the other Turkish teams, Adana Demirspor couldn't win yesterday. Their situation is not clear, like Beşiktaş, since 1 goal difference is not comfortable for both.
Teams in this competition kept fluctuating badly, Lille wasn't impressive, Brugge faced Osasuna so I can't criticise them a lot. We already talked about teams that played previously like Partizan..
Second leg matches will be more interesting for most clubs since the difference isn't that big.

Yo chill. I think we all understand that it is Aston Villa against a team that I am hearing their name for the first time literally. So we did not expect too much from Hibernian. And yes, I did Google the name. There is no reason to actually attack @SOKO-DEKE because sometimes these teams can actually pull out a good performance. Just look at Marseille. They lost against Panathinaikos. I definitely did not hear the name before they actually won against Marseille. And football can be unpredictable.

And I do have a question. If someone does not bet, does it mean that he does not have any say about any match in football?

There is always a good reason to attack someone who doesn't contribute to the conversation and "pretends" they actually know stuff. This forum is constantly cleaned up so normal users can experience a cleaner site but have you ever read megathreads where 80 or 90% of posts are meaningless spam?

I mean, the guy said he watched Hibernian, this forum is full of spammers claiming all sorts of rubbish and I'm calling him out. I never watched a single Hibernian game or know a single player there.

If someone does not gamble, but posts in the gambling section, then his say has less meaningful contribution to the people who are, guess what, in a Gambling Discussion thread.

If I go to a gardening subforum and Google about roses and tell everyone I plant roses, people have the right to call me out Tongue

today we had games with surprising results, AZ who played against brann could not win the game, and the game ended in a draw, the most surprising thing about this game was the fact that AZ was losing and then had to run against time to score 1 goal and with that the game is tied, so things didn't go well for AZ who played at home, in the second leg the az will have to play well to win away from home, something I see being a difficult task. another surprising result was the heart game they played against Paok, in this game the heart lost, but the saddest thing is that the heart scored a goal first thanks to a penalty, but 3 minutes later the heart committed a penalty and with that they suffered a goal, making how the game is tied

things could have gone well for heart, but unfortunately they conceded another goal in the 75th minute and with that lost the game at home, and in the next round they will have to play well away from home to win, something that I doubt will happen. another surprise was the game osasuna played at home against club brugge they lost, i even expected at least a draw, looking at this scenario i doubt very much that osasuna will be able to reverse this scenario in the second leg. now talking about the favorites, aston villa that played against Hibernian, they won at home, aston villa in this game scored 5 goals, it was a comfortable victory, and in the second leg i see aston villa playing without pressure

maybe aston villa don't even need to field their best players in the second leg game. Besiktas also won despite going through difficulties in their game against Dinamo, if Besikitas hadn't been lucky enough to have benefited from a penalty and they hadn't scored a late goal they would have lost in this game, that's why I think that in the second leg dinamo still has many chances to go through to another stage if they manage to beat besiktas. eintracht could not win the game against levisk sofia, honestly i expected a little more from eintracht in this game. Fenerbahce won the game against twente, in this game Fenerbahce scored 5 goals and conceded only 1 goal, I see that in the second leg Fenerbahce will play very comfortably
