Benzema's injury update is indeed really good news for France. Yes, they have great width in attack but all these years they really missed a player like Benzema.
He works really hard for others and is a great goalscorer as well, he's a different option than other strikers they have available. Both Griezmann and Mbappe will rather play a bit on the sides than centrally and Benzema is a perfect player to support them there.
France has by far the best squad available, both in their first 11 and in overall depth.

I saw that the odds for Portugal and Germany winning the tournament are exactly the same, and for France the odds are a little better. To be this is a surprise since all three are in the same group and there are some decent chances that one of them won't even make it out of the first round. Can't we profit of it? Like betting on France winning and either Portugal or Germany getting knocked out in the first group?
You can't be 100% sure which of these teams won't make it out of the group, or you'll have to make several bets!

i also thought that all european players had been vaccinated, aren't they from the priority group? because in my understanding players are in contact with many people and should have been vaccinated in the priority group, it doesn't make much sense to be vaccinating the general population and not having vaccinated soccer all players
I would think so yes,,, I remember reading about it in some pre Olympic news that atheletes also are priority plus in these European countries there is no longer any more shortage of vaccines so I do not know are some players maybe anti vaxxers?
It does seem nonsense if they did not get it yet or maybe the vaccine is only 99% effective as I read and they are the unlucky 1%?

"Infected" , that is the important keyword there that you need to understand, it doesn't stop you from getting "infected", otherwise it means if you are vaccinated when you get infected there is a much much bigger chance that you will survive, like 90%+ higher chance if I am not wrong with the numbers there, so you can get infected without being vaccinated and let's say you have 2% chance to die, with the vaccination you have 0.2% chance to die, that is a very good improvement.

It is more serious if the crowd you join are mostly unvaccinated. It means you will get more exposure to the virus and have bigger chance to get infected. Exposure and infected are different. Vaccine help you to reduce infected risk. If the population you live in have good vaccination and herd immunity, you will get lower exposure.

It's possible and for fun, maybe I'll bet on it. But if I consider the teams that are in group D I'm not sure about Czech and Scotland maybe Czech will still have a chance to be runner up with tough competition, the first place I believe it will belong to England or Croatia. The diffrence between this two players in how good they play on high level always.Benzema is playing top level all the time with o most every match that he played in the season while giroud dosent play much and o most everytime comes of the bench and dosent score that much.Probobly the last tournament giroud will be playing for France i guess.Benzema is now back for this euros and the next world cup so not a lot of place for giroud to play

Portugal have a good team, but they need to play as a team and not just thinking about a player. If they do, then you have a good chance of making a good tournament.

the French team has more strikers, Griezmann and Mbappe are extraordinary players.
Giroud is another option for striker. You still need that pure striker up front and both Griezmann and Mbappe is not the player to hold that role. Giroud is only 5 goals away from Thierry Henry as the leading top goalscorer of all time for France right now.

There goes Giroud's chance to be in the starting lineup. He was so close on breaking the 51 goals record held by Henry and this is probably going his last chance to do that. Im certain that Giroud wont be included in the 2022 World Cup, he is going to be 37 by then and there are tons of other potential players to replace him by 2022
