It is doubtful that Guardiola will undertake to coach the England national team. Firstly, there he will not be able to endlessly change players, spending billions until he gets the desired squad and secondly, although Southgate did not win anything, he raised the bar quite high. Therefore, for Guardiola, the likelihood of failure will be very high. He will never take such a risk, no matter how much he sings about ?new challenges.?

It could also be guys, nothing is said.
Certainly that free place and the possibility of making a great gift to the United Kingdom tickles him a lot.
Guardiola is a very ambitious person who loves to do new things, I don't rule it out at all, he could very well give up.

I doubt that leaving the City can save his reputation, firstly, he knew where he worked all these years, and secondly, in some interviews he defended the City’s position (that they were innocent of fraud). It's pathetic. The essence of the matter is known to everyone who was at least a little interested in it, but now if all this is officially recognized (although this was done before when they wanted to ban City from Eurocups for 2 years), the reputation of everyone connected with this will be sullied.
If there is indeed a guilty verdict given on the future, I agree that Guardiola cannot simply avoid this by departing from the club and claiming he did not knew anything, basically someone in his position must be aware of what is going on and tacitly agree on it and maybe he was an active participant, what I do not know is what could be the punishment for Manchester City, as we are talking about probably the biggest case of this nature around the world, and as such its punishment should send a message to other teams thinking about doing the same and this does not happen again.

Pep Guardiola can claim that he does not sign the players and possibly come out of the scandal (that’s if Manchester City is found guilty) unscathed.. I don’t think the verdict will have any impact on his legacy or how the world sees him. Pep is applauded for his success at Barcelona despite the case relating to Barcelona paying Spanish referees. Those allegations have not affected his reputation so far. Why would anything change?

It's just a rumor, don't take it seriously. No one wants to take excessive risks while he is in the safe box. At Manchester City he got everything, popularity, glory & also legacy, it is better for him to stay there to get more titles. Maybe he will be seen when he is no longer managing a big team & when he is too old for it. The latest rumor is about Eddie Howe, the English FA is said to have intentions of getting him, although Eddie Howe has dismissed the rumor.
Graham Potter is also among the candidates to succeed the next England national team manager, and I don't think Pep Guardiola will leave Manchester City any time soon. It makes sense for the FA to target Pep Guardiola, they know that the Spanish manager has the ability to lead England to success in the future. Pep Guardiola already understands English football culture very well, his journey with Manchester City proves it all. Meanwhile, it looks like the FA needs to try their luck in finding a coach from outside England, who knows, they might be lucky. Actualy, it is very difficult to be the manager of the England national team, because the pressure is enormous, criticism is an inseparable part of every match.

I see the vacancy at the England National team managerial role has actually drawn pep guardiol into this. Even before England showed interest it was already around that if his contract expires with Manchester he will be leaving, this is not because of the club issue, he met the underlying problems there and that was the board thing to handle. We all saying he supported Manchester city with his statement is definitely the right thing to do, he is their employee and they have not been found guilty, should he throw them under the boss? I don’t think that’s what any one will do

Yes he has everything at Manchester city but this is not the first club that pep Guadiola will work out from where he didn’t have everything at his palms. At Barcelona he had the whole football in his hands because he managed or assembled one of the best team that world football will ever experience yet he walked out, so I will say this time around it is no different, what was keeping him was the lack of champions league at city and he has delivered so he can go anywhere now.

At the moment, the situation is that Guardiola is leaving in the summer of 2025. This is due to the fact that City is accused of cheating and a decision on this case will be made at the beginning of 2025 (accordingly, City may fall into the championship / fined / deprived of Eurocups / receive a transfer ban - none of the options will suit Guardiola).
But the club owner said that the issue has not yet been resolved and he is sure that Guardiola will stay, apparently he is counting on a positive outcome in his confrontation with the Premier League, personally, I hope that he is wrong.
Meaning he is leaving City due to the issues on ground not that he is leaving willingly from his heart. If this is true he is saving his prestige from being messed up. It is good that he runs away before the issues is taken up to avoid any consequences that it will bring.

If he leaves will he be free from his action since he is no longer in Premier league that is only what can save him. It means that City might face a big challenge in the near future.

I don't also expect Guardiola to take over either. Why would he leave Manchester City at the moment? I believe he might leave in a couple of years but not right now without saying anything before.

Southgate's football is the thing that is very bad and boring to watch.  Sad  But the player quality was so high that England still made it to the finale. Southgate set the bar quite high indeed for the next coach.

By the way there has been some changes in FIFA Men's Ranking after Euro 2024 ended. Spain have gained 5 places thanks to the Euro trophy they got and captured 3rd place. Argentina are still 1st while France are right behind.

Pep Guardiola since he started his managerial career has never managed a national team and I don't think he's going to do that now with the England national team so I strongly doubt that he'll leave a big club like Manchester City to manage a national team that plays one major tournament every two years. Guardiola is currently contracted with Manchester City and is focused on his job at the moment so I think it's almost impossible he's going to leave the club to sigh for the England national team. Even if Guardiola decides to manage a national team anytime soon, I think it'll be the Spanish national team and not with any other European national team.
England fans complained that Gareth Southgate's style of football was very boring to watch and that's why the English FA are currently trying to bring in a quality manager that plays entertaining yet quality football of which Guardiola does but they can still get other managers that can do that.

Spain really deserves the Euro 2024 trophy because they performed consistently throughout the tournament, and I think they will have a bright future because their squad is currently dominated by young players, which means they still have plenty of time and opportunity to contribute and continue to grow even better.

Whoever the enemy, Spain is always ready, and the most important thing, they have a winning mentality even though there are many young players. So Spain won over England, France and Germany not because of sheer luck but because they were better than their opponents.
This is a new fact after Spain won the trophy, but long before that Spain was not the national team that was widely favored at Euro 2024. France, Germany, England were more favorites to come out as champions, but their performance was far from what was expected, and sometimes they even struggled. to achieve victory. It is very natural why Spain is not the favorite, because teams like France, Germany, England have a better and more even line up of players, but once again we see that this is not a guarantee for success.

Perhaps only a few people dared to bet on Spain victory when they entered the knockout round, Luis De la Fuente squad consistently managed to beat all their opponents with a score of 2-1. Personally, Spain success surprised me a little, because I didn't expect them to appear so impressive, and once again they deserved to be on the podium and become champions. Luis De la Fuente succeeded in building a solid squad, by combining young and old players, which ultimately led them to success.

He wasn't bad for The Three Lion, but not enough for them either. He is not a manager who has amazing experience, look at his managerial history, we can refer to Wikipedia. He has only ever managed Middlesbrough at club level [1].

The news of his departure from The Three Lions will certainly make many people happy, it opens up the opportunity for another great journey for The Three Lions themselves. Rumors say the English FA wants to get Guardiola as a replacement for Gareth Southgate, isn't this a great thing?

pep guardiola would be a better coach of England and I don't see any big bar that Southgate has set that will be an issue for pep. He's succeded in taking them to the finals but from all indication, it's more of a combination of luck and the individual brilliance of the players. In terms of tactics, I've not actually seen any tactical decision Southgate made at this Euros that made any difference in the play of the England team. Harry Kane was aweful and he never changed in in a single game untill moment when he's totally out of options. Somany things weren't working right in terms of players combination but yet we didn't see any tactical deciton plus he appears as a very stubborn coach who works only with players he personally believes in. The kind of players England have both those that where called up for the euros and othees that weren't are all good players that pep can comfortably work with any day and anytime. Should he take up that position and fail to lead England to victory, thier is absolutely nothing to right him off or look down on him. The other teams that came to the tournament didn't come into the tournament to joke and any serious team that mean business like Germany or Spain could still win in the next euros but fans needs to see that even though they lost, they gave in Thier all. This England team under Southgate only managed to survive into the finals through luck and that's what the likes of pep can change.

He wasn't good enough, he is not tactically brilliant enough to manage themz we could see how they played boring games and even defended during games they should have attacked. I underestimated him honestly at some point because of how poor England played. So much hype around them and stuff, and also how he was linked to Manchester United hass got to be one of the things I found disgusting.

And how well did he do with them?  Some of these ex players of England do want him to stay like Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher. They're both talkatives and I don't pay attention to most of what's said.  With the kind of squad he had, he still found it difficult to win back to back Competition.

Everybody wants Pep Guardiola now, I don't see him doing that though.

England is a country that controls the coach on what they want and that will not help Guardiola to achieve success because he will not be able to make his decisions right. That is one big problem England as a nation has and I don't think that the new coach they will sign will have the freedom to do whatever he likes.

If you are not from England, it will be impossible for you to coach their national team which Guardiola is not from England. Guardiola knows what he wants so he will not dare accept such offer because that might bring down his reputation in the coaching field.

That's how it works nothing good comes easy and those that  have improved so much will continue to improve without setting back which means England just have to work harder to get that Gold medal . Although, most times football can come with luck but hardwork really matters for good lucks Smiley .Apart from England, Germany could have also gotten a very good chance to win this competition  but they met Spain so soon(tough game but Spain had the luck).
That's the reality, not only does England need to improve their development after failing to win a gold medal, a team like Spain also needs to maintain their performance if they want to win the title again. England are a good team, but they are experiencing a bit of difficulty this time, their performance is not as expected, there is still a lot to improve to reach the level of play shown by Spain.

Luck will never be on their side if it is not accompanied by hard work, England's playing pattern needs to be improved and add sharpness to the front line like Spain did. They have to ensure victory in normal time with a convincing number of goals to put pressure on the opposing team, this has not been seen in the England squad at the Euros this time, so it is very natural that Spain is able to beat them easily without having to go through extra time.

The decision contains pros and cons, because after all, Southgate has accompanied England for a long time and this is not easy for him. He has, but it all has to end, and England still has to continue to improve and prepare for another championship match. Because
Gareth Southgate has maintained the morale of the England national soccer team for eight years. Now he needs support himself. Perhaps the best way for him to recover will be a vacation on the beach, where he can quietly drink lemonade and watch from the sidelines. I think it is time for a young and promising English coach to emerge who will favor an attacking style of play.
This makes perfect sense and is probably what he is doing. Ha ha ha
He has been carrying out this responsibility for a long time and at the age of 53, there are still no new rumors about whether he will completely quit football or become a club football manager like before for certain.

What is clear is that England is currently in a hurry to immediately get a new coach as Southgate's successor. And they have officially opened various information regarding the requirements to become England national team football manager (main coach) on their official website page.

There are several names associated with this, such as Graham Potter and also Eddie Howe. But both of them don't want to talk about this yet. Even Eddie Howe said that he was still committed to Newcastle.
