Romania vs Ukraine

🇷🇴 Romania XI: Nita; Ratiu, Dragusin, Burca, Bancu; Razvan Marin, Marius Marin, Stanciu; Man, Dragus, Coman

🇺🇦 Ukraine XI: Lunin; Konoplia, Zabarnyi, Matviyenko, Zinchenko; Shaparenko, Stepanenko, Sudakov; Tsygankov, Dovbyk, Mudryk

Here we go for group E, Ukraine has been good against Romania and also have the chances of winning this match, checking from their last five matches Ukraine have won three matches, a draw and a lost while Romania only won one, 3 draw and a lost, so let see who win.

Both opponents will be determined to win. The group is not complicated, and each team has a good chance to get out of it. Romania showed good football in the qualifying matches, and it is not clear why the bookmakers are favouring Ukraine. Although bookmakers consider Ukraine the favourite, I think we will have an equal fight. Most likely, the match will end in a draw. My bet is a draw.

The England squad has so many star players that there are enough for 2-3 national teams by a large margin and the fact that Cole Palmer is losing the competition and not making the squad proves it.
As long as Southgate's tactics give results everyone tolerates it, but what will happen if Southgate's tactics when scoring one goal the team starts to slow down and park the bus in the penalty area will not work? I think given the selection of players Southgate will not forgive the loss, because as you correctly noted England has a real star team, all the members of the best clubs that play in the Champions League.
I wonder how they feel themselves who have to play such football, which they are not used to, because Arsenal and Manchester City and other top clubs play attacking football.

England didn't play to keep the score, that's not their style, at least not against such an opponent, Serbia only made a few shots on target, it was difficult for them to play against England. It is difficult to blame Southgate for a bad strategy as long as they are winning, after all, the main thing is to get 3 points for a victory, and not to achieve a crushing victory. Although Bellingham's early goal hinted that England could score much more in this match, as I said, I don't think this is an important indicator, the most important thing is that the team wins.
I think this could be made into a motto for the current England team "It is difficult to blame Southgate for a bad strategy as long as they are winning, after all, the main thing is to get 3 points for a victory, and not to achieve a crushing victory.". I think Southgate would totally agree with you that the main thing is to get results and the game is secondary. This point of view can also be, but unfortunately very often we remember just the highlights and matches and the England national team when Lampard, Gerrard or Beckham played for it, although they did not play so effectively, but liked everyone much more and remembered better than Southgate's current team.
In any case, time and strong opponents will show whether Southgate is right to use this strategy.

Head to Head, it looks like Ukraine will indeed be the favorite in this match. And now the match has started and only entered the 6th minute. And yes, the Ukrainians were able to immediately control the match quite well. But I see that Romania has a counter-attack scheme that could endanger Ukraine's goal. So it is hoped that Ukraine will not be careless this time. Because it looks like Romania cannot be underestimated. And Romania is also starting to reduce Ukraine's dominance of ball possession. I think this match can be a fairly even match. Ukraine will probably only win by a narrow score in this match.

Oh Jude Bellingham you are truly a phenomenon, you are like god knows where the ball will land. If we watched the match between England and Serbia last night, we certainly wouldn't have realized how Jude Bellingham's goal was created and it all started with him starting it. Jude Bellingham moved from the middle then gave a pass to Kyle Walker after that the cross ball experienced a deflection which changed the direction of the ball higher and there Jude Bellingham was there who met the ball with a hard header.

How can a midfielder have instincts as sharp as a striker and it looks like Harry Kane couldn't do much in that match. I am still amazed by this young player and keep in mind he is still 20 years old and he still has a very long future with England. It was also seen several times that Jude Bellingham had to go down to pick up the ball and strangely enough, quite a lot of people said that Jude Bellingham was a tap-in player in the opponent's goal.

From what we saw last night in the England game they weren't like the 3 Lions that lose to score goals and 1nil win isn't suppose to be the scoreline of a team that have big names on their squad, the fans weren't pleased with what they saw, performance wasn't fun to watch. Is like a division 2 side was playing against Serbia.
That's by the way but my concern is Phil Foden who performed poorly, he is the EPL best player and we all saw what he did last season and he deserved it. Is it that he normally perform well when he's surrounded by the likes of Rodri, Bernardo Silva and KDB? Because to me I think he's overrated as a player, if he was playing for a club like Chelsea who was struggling I think he couldn't play out his best just like Palmer, from the way he performed I think he's nothing close to Saka who played better both in club and country.
What do you think with Foden's performance in the game last night? To me I feel he shouldn't have been introduced because that was an awful display last night.
Phil Foden being able to play better at the club is clearly easier because good cooperation has been built at City, whereas in the national team they will only get together when there is an event so that can affect unity. Is Foden overrated? perhaps, but Southgate certainly wouldn't put his name in without assessing his performances at the club.
And to be honest, only being able to win by a narrow score and that when the goal came in the first half was quite disappointing, I thought England would appear very aggressive and their attackers would be very effective in scoring goals but that didn't happen, and if coupled with the bad results in the friendly match it was clear they did not appear as many people predicted what they would achieve later.

England showed ineffective football in their first match at the Euros. After Bellingham scored a goal, the team calmed down and did not build up the lead, although the English could have scored more. In the second half Serbia played much more interesting and they could have equalised, but Pickford did not allow them to do so. England need to change their game before they start playing with the tournament favourites.
Any first match as intended is understandable. The 1st and 2nd statistics are not much different. Even though most consider the performance shown by England to be unsatisfactory, the victory over Serbia was an important match to maintain their chances of progressing to the next round.
Serbia showed they were very disciplined in maintaining their defense.
In the next match against Denmark, Southgate will play a strategy that will make England's game different for the better.
Many were dissatisfied with England's performance in that match even though England won. Because it seems like many people hope that England can play more aggressively and score more than 1 goal. But England has always been like that. They are not so aggressive when playing with opponents they consider easy. But when they play with opponents they consider strong, they will usually appear more aggressive and better. Because actually they have everything they need to become the favorite team. Especially their squad which is filled with European star players. But England rarely get maximum results in big matches. I don't know what the problem is but I hope this time they can succeed in going further.

Belgium and France favourites for today, 1.48 and 1.58
I dare to take those odds for these two matches. Belgium will get full points but I dare not speculate how many scores will occur in this match because Slovakia has a fairly strong defense.
France can also be predicted to win over Austria because the French squad is very complete.

Romania v Ukraine - Ukraine are favourites but I wouldnt fancy betting on either team.
Why not try to see the chances of betting on both teams to score. I think it would be good to complete the multi bet list.

Combo on Belgium and France to win is 2.33, thats nice odds.

Belgium - Slovakia: Belgium have players who are capable of creating goal scoring chances. They scored 22 goals in 8 matches in the qualifying group. I think this match will finish over 2,5 goals.

Thats interesting, over 3.0 odds are 2.38

Austria - France: France are one of the favorites of this tournament. They will beat Austria in this match. But I will bet on both teams to score goals in this match.

I think there is a better chance for an over bet here, Over 3.0 @ 2.34. France have
bigger capabilities for scoring and their win probability is 61% and too many world
class players to pick from.

Southgate will receive harsher criticism if the England national team draws in their next match, especially if they lose, it will be a nightmare for Kane and his teammates. Southgate has a number of quality players in his squad, they are all mainstays at club level, so managing them and winning games should be easier for Southgate.

The victory over Serbia deserves praise even though it didn't appear impressive considering it was only the first match. Plus, almost half of the England players Southgate has called up for this EURO are new faces, so it may take some time for them to gel. However, they cannot relax even though the competition in the group stage is a little easier for them.

It makes sense for some to consider England as one of the favourites, given the talent available in the squad. I am sure that if Southgate position is filled by a coach of the caliber of Pep Guardiola or Ancelotti, then everyone is sure that England will win the trophy this time. But I also doubt that Southgate will be able to do it.
As we can see, England has no shortage of great players, almost every line is a mainstay player at their respective clubs. However, what made England not appear promising was that coach Southgate was unable to utilize the abilities of his players. From the start I didn't believe England was led by him. This will damage the image of the Premier League if it gets bad results in the next match.

I didn't expect England to only be able to score 1 goal, because we hope we can do more than that to show that England deserves to score more than 3 goals. Because it is still early days, Southgate can improve his shortcomings. There are quite a few who doubt England in the hands of this coach, I personally am not England favorite to reach the final.

France and Austria are going to be playing today and the result will be surprising. France has good players so do Austria if any slight mistake is done from the France team, then Austria will win with those opportunities. So far this would be one of the most favorite games to watch in this competition. When it comes to big games like this France rarely blew it off, but when they get to face smaller things, they tend to blow things for people who gamble on their head.
The Austria vs France match will indeed be one of the matches that many people are looking forward to watching. Especially for those who idolize Mbappe there. In terms of squad depth, France actually looks better. But Austria also has a pretty good squad. I would probably favor France to win this match. But I would also expect both teams to score. Hopefully the match will be very interesting and fierce. And hopefully the match will run quite aggressively with both teams implementing attacking strategies.

Another match that might be a little easier to predict is Belgium vs Slovakia. Belgium will be the favorites in this match because Lukaku and his friends can always surprise us. Just like when they played in the World Cup, we saw Belgium play very well at that time and even beat Germany.  In the Euro qualifying round, Belgium also managed to score many goals. So there is no doubt that Belgium will be highly favored in this match.

England do have all the stars of England but they will still not show in their scoreline that they have those kind of players. South Gate needs to improve in his pattern of game so that he can take advantage of his squad and win this year Euro. However, it was still a good result for the match to end 1-0 in their favor.

Kane missed a beautiful header which was stopped by the goalkeeper from enteric g the goal post. Serbia tried their best and they were able to avoid conceding more goals but dominated the second half with the intention of equalizing the goal. Unfortunately, that was not achieved as they missed some good opportunities of making it happen.

As much as I don't consider them nor rate them highly,  the first game in the European Competitions are usually difficult and also Serbia is a tough side to play.
They don't have a midfied that is experience, as it goes on we will get to see that it's not about young, players who have been in this Competition before in midfied are absent.
Gareth Southgate has got nothing to offer truthfully, he is not that coach that demands more fro from his players. I will say less and wish him beat of luck.

Kane will definitely find the back of the net from the next game. I believe him and his capabilities. As for the game between Austria and France today, I feel like, it'll end up as a fulltime draw...

Undoubtedly, France are favourites in this match. Didier Deschamps' team will be looking to win Euro 24. The Austrian national team does not often reach the final round of international football tournaments. But now the Austrians have formed a strong team with Ralf Rangnick as their head coach. Austria won their last friendlies over Serbia (2-1), Turkey (6-1), Slovakia (2-0) and Germany (2-0). In all likelihood, this will be a tough match for France. So I'm going to assume a draw in this game.

A number of speculations arose when seeing England first appearance against Serbia. To be honest, I'm bored watching it because there is nothing special about England's front line. Kane, Foden and Saka didn't appear impressive. If England doesn't have a good strategy then this team will find it difficult to reach the top of the Final. There are many other promising candidates. The Group Stage won't be a big deal but after that England are no longer favourites. Without Bellingham single goal everything would have been in vain. Imagine England can only collect 3 shots on target with extraordinary players at their respective clubs. Foden, Kane, Saka, TAA, Declan Rice, Stones and Walker but these statistics will be a big evaluation for Southgate if he wants to continue to progress further. In my opinion many England fans are not satisfied with the performance of their favorite team even though they won 3 points.

They seem to be one of the teams everybody wants to watch but with that weak display I feel Southgate should go back to his drawing board and reshuffle the team. I felt bad to even see players that are suppose to cause much damage to their opponent are struggling and the Serbia team wasn't good enough in front of goal.
If you talk about Saka, he tried in the first half, for a player who's returning from injury should have started from the bench. After the end of first half things changed for Saka, he couldn't play as he used to and I believe he's disappointed with how he played yesterday, my problem is Southgate don't have a better game plan, he's just using the big names and over hyping to intimidate other countries side, if not they're nothing I mean the England side.

Actually, I was not going to bet before the first matches in the tournament were completed. Because I wanted to make more balanced predictions, but I couldn't resist. It was more tempting to join the excitement.

From what I see, there is several teams that have good quality players and will annoy England a lot. Serbia is not the hardest team that England would face, yet the performance and the result are quite not that satisfying.
Group C is not that powerful and England will pass it relatively easily. The question is whether they will advance a lot or not and that depends from the team they will face. France, Germany and Spain are hardest teams in my opinion and the England team will struggle facing them.
Group C occupied by England should be considered the easiest group for England to face so the potential to become leaders in Group C is very open for England. Because it is true as you said that several teams that will make things difficult for England in this Euro are France, Germany and Spain. However, these three competitors will only meet after this group phase is finished because they are all in a different group to England, but I am sure they will all be in the round of 16 later.

England need to change their game before they start playing with the tournament favourites.
In result, they got what they want, efficiently but this match again shows that Southgate tends to repeat his mistake in Euro 2020 final match with Italy. Serbia actually created opportunities to equalize this match and England did not show that they are able to secure three points after getting an opening goal.

In this match, they won but if they continue like this in other matches and with opponents that are stronger than Serbia, they might have trouble and lose points or lose matches too. After leading one goal, if the match control belongs to them, they need to convert domination to a second goal and finalize the match when they have chance.

The bright point in this match is Jude continues to show his great attacking ability and he will be one of greatest hope of England in this Euro. Kane has his head shot that hits the cross bar but generally the main striker of England did not play well.

Even though they were able to score goals and win the match against Serbia, we have to admit that if England performance was still not optimal and maximum in the match, Serbia was able to appear pressing and even often could trouble England defense in the match but fortunately England had Declan Rice and also a solid defensive line when they defended, Serbia who was not the favorite in the match in my opinion appeared quite impressive and even they Succeeding in pressuring England by creating more chances than England created in the match, England performance and play are still very far from good, but in the first match, of course it was a very natural thing.

Currently England is at the top of the group C standings, although they do have a better squad than other teams, but if they don't immediately improve their game performance in the next match, of course it will be very dangerous for England to maintain their chances of qualifying from the group phase, currently Denmark and Slovenia could trouble them later, I saw when the Denmark and Slovenia match was played,  In fact, I was surprised by their ability that was good enough that it would most likely be able to trouble England later.

Easy win for England, they even almost scored the second goal.
Only Vlahovic was "close" to draw the game but the difference between the 2 teams was to big.

Tomorrow will be the time of France and Belgium, 2 big teams will start their adventure.
Should have been an easy win, but you also know that a goal lead is not something to celebrate over till the game is over and I expected England to get more than one goal being that they have a lot of good players both on the bench and on the field but they just had to settle for that 13' goal from Jude Bellingham.
The annoying part of yesterday's game was that Serbia weren't as challenging as they usually are yet England were content to play defensive football. I won't list England as a team that can pose a threat if we're mentioning teams that will prove difficult in this tournament because for me they are just a decorated set of players with little to nothing to show for it.
