Thing about these threads are a lot of people are posting opinions and not really picks, and fewer still with money to back their picks. Which is all good and fun of course, but when you get a sweet win like this, it's so much sweeter because it wasn't supposed to happen.

I think Tottenham victory against Mura will not be the beginning of Tottenham revival in the English league later, if we compare the quality of Mura game it may still be very far below the teams at the bottom of the English league standings, indeed if we look at Tottenham performance in that match, from the start we could have guessed that tottenham would appear very superior in that match and be able to score a lot of goals, but I personally highly doubt that tottenham will perform like that against Aston Villa later in the Premier League.

We can't be based on yesterday's Tottenham performance for their EPL matches. Mura is perhaps the weakest team in the whole European competitions and EPL doesn't have such low-caliber teams. So yes, Spurs played well, score a lot of goals, and for sure gain confidence for the upcoming games but against Mura IMO all the EPL teams will have "great" performance.

I guess it's a different caste that even, not many people know about SLOVENIA league or Prva league. Not only that, even though Tottenham won with a big score but when Tottenham couldn't keep clean sheets, the problem was still there for the Tottenham side. It's good to hear the news, but I personally wouldn't say Kane and the Tottenham squad are back to their best because the opponents they face are just mediocre teams. In contrast to teams in the EPL, even promoted teams are sometimes able to surprise and this big win is not a benchmark for Tottenham's revival for me.

Honestly, I don't pay much attention to this tournament, at least in group stage. I only watch goals on simulcast. At this stage it's difficult to find game which looks attractive to watch, especially when there much better games from Europa league at the same time.

I dont agree with you. Many people watch this tournament honestly. Most of the teams werent able to compete on europe level and are now excited. Also you have some top quality teams in this tournament like Roma and Tottenham. My favorite team Partizan is playing in this tournament and are doing great and everyone in my country watches this tournament

I'll give you that. Nearly all of the teams in the groups are weak now. There are only a few teams that are really powerful for now. Until this changes in the next round, I'm also not thinking of watching any game. I feel like it would be a waste of time for me. But in the next round, new teams will come from the Europa League. Maybe then the tournament can start getting more excited.

Early rounds are pretty boring considering teams play for the tournament are in the middle standings of their national league but later rounds could be interesting when bigger teams from Europa League come here. Another handicap is these games are at the same time as Europa League games so I guess only fans of these teams watch it probably.
There isn't any Turkish team left in this tournament and these games don't interest me much except Paok and Tottenham maybe.

I guess that the most enjoyable game considering the games ended was Alashkert - HJK Helsinki. It was really delightful even if I didn't know any player in the lineups of both teams. Cheesy

Well, these odds must be for a reason and it's pretty obvious which is the reason. Grin

Of course, are tempting but it will be one of the major surprises for today if Spartak Moscow manages to win this game. Maybe not to lose will be "safer", unless Napoli make a ton of changes in their first lineup...

And the game is in injury time with 9 minutes past! But Quincy Promes just got his brace to get Spartak Moscow up 3-1, and Napoli pulled one back for 3-2 but they're trying too hard, too late. Yes, Napoli's red card didn't help, but you've to credit the Russians for attacking much more effectively, and being more robust in midfield. Napoli just kept trying to beat the offside trap but that gameplan kept failing.

15/1 win for me. I lost all my other underdogs, and also missed the Monaco win by a whisker, but this is why I like taking these bets. Win 1 out of 4 or 5 and you're still way in profit =)

Scrappy win, rough match, my kind of game! Yes I know it's not over yet but I wanna sing before the fat lady haha.

AZ Alkmaar have been in a really bad shape for a long time. They finally got a win against G. A. Eagles in their league by 5-0 and it should be a good morale for them in the match in the Europa Conference League now. But before that match, they lost 3 of their last 4 matches. The first half of the match has now ended, and while Roma looked quite ahead of their opponents, El Shaarawy's goal in the 7th minute temporarily put Roma ahead of the game, actually in the first half, Roma continued to dominate the game, but it looked like they were struggling to create scoring chances goals, in the first half Roma only managed to take 5 kicks and 4 of them were on target, while Zorya managed to create 8 chances, but a bad finish made the opportunity go to waste and only 1 went on target.
Today two italian clubs are playing in different european competitions and it looks like we will see the two italian teams will win against their opponents.
