It might seem so but not very much as, for me, I think the top teams often come out to play especially when they are at the verge of being kicked out of the league. Not affording to get kicked out means some serious game becuase, the Rruopa at that point becomes some trophy for a worthy compensation from the UCL. Napoli vs Leicester City had a good game, Leicester on the other hand played a much better game for me but, Napoli used experience to beat them. Celtic is hot on Real Betis right now, expecting a lot of goals in this match.

The competition for the first place is still on in the Group C. Now, Bodo/Glimt are the leader having 11 points and Roma follow them with 10 points. And I feel like that the places of first two teams won't change after the last matches. Bodo/Glimt can beat Zorya easily despite playing away. And the CSKA Sofia match is a very easy one for Roma. In short, both of them should be able to win.
Roma finished the race first in Group C since Glimt failed to secure the 3 points from Luhansk. Roma scored 3 goals and received 2, meh that wasn't good nor reassuring. I won't be surprised if they get kicked from the league at some point.
Spurs game postponed se we won't see if they could finish 2nd or not.

I'm not really sure about betting on the Europa Conference League because even the big teams that are there like Roma and Tottenham even though they are ranked second but don't seem to have the enthusiasm to advance to the final. About Tottenham the match was postponed and the information I got was because of covid19, but about Roma playing today I'm personally not sure. But indeed, it is very possible for Roma to win to be the group winners because the opponents they face are the teams that are at the bottom of the group standings. but unfortunately, just winning is not enough because we know the difference in points is like making pessimism for Roma if Bodo/Glimt win too, then in the end it will remain the same Roma will still be runner up.

Braga today receives the Red Star. For Braga to be able to go directly to the 16th of the Europa League, they have to win. It won't be easy, but I believe Braga have the capacity to win this game.

Rennes is now at 36/10. Well done all you who got it at super odds.
And game is posptoned. Interesting what new date of game will be because this game should be played before end of 2021 and in upcoming weeks Spurs have very intensive calendar. Fact that Spurs asked to posptone this game probably shows that this tournament matters for them. Otherwise they would agree to play with their youngsters.

Poor Spurs. Bad luck and possibly bad planning/management (the Burnley snow game that was luck, but not sure if they could have avoided the Covid thing as training is a contagion risk with positive people). The Burnley game would have relied on whether or not they would progress in FA Cup but this Conference League game throws a heavy spanner into the works.

You're right though, they do seem to want to win this -- prize money isn't too shabby actually and they have a very real chance of a trophy if they actually try to win this competition.

@buwaytress I personally feel that Tottenham should have played this game, because their fixture list is horribly cramped up and I’m not sure how they’ll play this fixture now. Also UEFA too has confirmed this game is off, but Tottenham will need a miracle to keep their star player’s fit game after game during this hectic period.

We were going to see a critical game for Tottenham today against Rennes. But it has been postponed due to covid-19. I mean that there are too many players who got covid-19 at Tottenham. As a result, they are going to play their game later. If the players don't get better quickly, they will be under the threat of being eliminated from the tournament directly I guess.

Slava Ukraini!
So dittoup alerted me yesterday to an ongoing situation with Rennes. Apparently, the odds for them to win was almost 10/1, and then Spurs got hit with some Covid situation, taking odds down to 7/1 and below. Seems it's just gotten from bad to worse though, six players and 2 staff already positive. They're now writing to postpone Sunday's premleague game so I guess Conte will have to try and rescue their Conference season with B team? And we all know they suck badly haha.

Sigh guys you all are right, Spurs is the biggest achiever in this league (UCL finalists 2 years ago) and yet they are the ones who may not even progress to the last 16.

It shows that money doesn't score goals. Tottenham should dominate the Cup, if you only consider the value of the club and the financial resources available. As a more traditional football fan, I welcome such clubs being eliminated early. I hope that football will soon change its way of thinking.

It's interesting that something similar happened to them last season, when they shockingly lost to Dinamo in Zagreb and dropped out of the EL competition.
They don't seem to have learned anything from that defeat and history has repeated itself, this time not in Croatia but in Slovenia.
Mura were without points until this game and obviously the Tottenham players underestimated them.
The Europa Conference League is quite a strong competition and I don't agree with the comments that Tottenham is the favorite of this competition.
After games like this and results, I'm even more convinced of that.

Spurs aren't stable even in EPL so I wouldn't expect them to be in this one although we saw some exceptions in CL/EL of teams doing good there while struggling in their local leagues. I saw people blaming the red card for that but honestly Spurs in this level compared to a Slovenian team sitting in the 6th place / 10 is just an embarrassment and we shouldn't try to find an excuse for that.
So I agree with you about preferring to see them eliminated and may the best proceed and win.

We know that Tottenham is not in good form. But I did not think they will be defeated by Mura. I lost the bet in this match. Tottenham's misfortune. They have lost their form very badly. But I'm glad we saw Harry Kane score after a long time. With Kane and Son back in form, Tottenham will be able to get back on track very quickly.

This loss was worse than the first one, and worse even than Roma to Bodo/Glimt,,, we have Kane and we have Conte, and Alli, and Sessegnon red card was proof he is not mature enough for world class football.

It is hard to be a Spurs fan now.  Undecided

Spurs loss against Mura is beyond embarrassing. I don't really know what to say about it. Now they're risking to be eliminated after group stage.

@LTU_btc Conte doesn’t bring instant success because look when he joined Inter Milan there were bad results, but he didn’t lose hope and he made sure that player’s followed his instructions and in the end he won them the league title, hence Tottenham fans will have to be patient with him.

Furthermore even though it’s a big loss for Tottenham, but in my opinion it’ll only help Conte fix the team in the long run provided he’s not sacked due to poor performances in the short term.
Conte had to see for himself how poor this squad is both in ability and attitude ,now he will be under no illusions about the state of the squad. I can't believe people are judging Conte and questioning after only a few games, he's not a miracle worker, this isn't an easy fix. I think Conte needs to build the team up again from the inside out, get rid of the dead wood, buy players that want to play for the club. Sessegnon sending off was stupid and they were always going to struggle with 10 men, this tournament is very poor and if I'm honest they would be better off out if it, concentrate on getting at least top 6 and potentially a league or FA Cup this season and build on that.

Flora win against Partizan is also surprising. Who could have thought that small team from Estonia without any foreign players will be alive before last round. Anorthosis won against Gent surprisingly too and this team also have chances to reach next round.

Many unexpected results yesterday gent didnt surprise me much since in the league they are not performing well and they are struggling but for partisan and especially tottenham it was a huge surprise mura won with an odd of   23 it was thanks to the red card of sessegnon and the many opportunities missed by tottenham team and now conte job will became more complicated especially that vitesse has the same number of points now tottenham team need to win the last game against rennes to avoid surprises.

The defeat from mura became the first defeat for Conte and of course this was quite disappointing because against a relatively smaller team than them, with this result, tottenham had to be evicted to third position with 7 points from the 5 matches they had run, with conditions like this making tottenham should get an absolute win in the last game against Rennes next week.

Spurs losing to Mura is one of the biggest shock of this week,as well as Partizan losing to Flora. This two teams should have won heavily and both lost. Mura was able to score somehow in the last minut . Spurs are now in deep trouble of going into the next round

And I missed out on BOTH too. What makes it worse is that I actually put money down on Talinn two or three times already and then decided to skip them when they actually did win. Would easily have been above 10/1 for either one, but there you go, I need to be more disciplined to trust my instincts more and more now.

Spurs need a big win, and it's against the strongest team in the group. But maybe they actually do better against a team that tries to attack, who knows?

yeah, both Flora and Anorthosis wins are surprising, and that could be the fact that Gent and Partizan were almost secured into next round
now, Flora has some chances, but they have to win in Belgium and expect Partizan loss in Belgrade, so hard to expect their pass-through, but they brought in some interest into next round

Spurs are another story, they are now in real trouble for next round, Vitesse needs large win over Mura, or any win, in case Tottenham do not win over Rennes
