There is still not a certain date for the Tottenham vs Rennes match to be played. Due to high number of covid-19 cases among Tottenham players, it has been postponed as you all remember. There is not much time left for the draws to be decided in the European tournaments. The draws can still take place and there will be so much time before the matches to start. In that period, we would watch this match certainly. And I think that Tottenham would advance by defeating Rennes.
Mate, if you would look few posts back, you would see that decisio about game was already made - it won't be played because Spurs and Rennes failed to find new date for this game. So, Rennes most likely will be awarded with 3:0 and Rennes will move to next round together with Vitese.
I'm not sure, maybe for Spurs it's better to be liminated without playing than getting an defeat in decisive game Cheesy.

Is this really the case? I'm getting informed about it newly. But this is really unfair for Tottenham I think. Just because the players got covid-19, they won't even be able to play the match vs Rennes and it will be a 3-0 win for Rennes. Vitesse must be very happy to hear this but I still don't think that it is a fair decision like I said. Because they can still determine the draws and this match would have been played. Anyway, maybe Tottenham are not even sad about it as it is a small tournament.

I wasn't aware that that game still has to be played. Is there any solution in case the infection statistics don't go down and the game can't be played? Are they going to play it in a neutral place somewhere else?

Indeed LTU. Just read about it myself this Big update on the Spurs game. A bit of bad luck for Spurs but also now other teams will be stricter in this holiday period.

If not for snow against burnley... Anyway yeah, no possibility to reschedule the game, meaning that the disciplinary body will now determine a result without the game being played.

Although that has yet to be decided, the norm is for the responsible team to be penalised with a 3-0 loss... Rennes might have been more flexible but apparently Spurs did not talk to them early. Lesson for all teams I guess...

So if this is the case, then Spurs will take the loss and exit this competition. Tough! But hey, maybe Conte will be relieved.

Seems that Spurs will be eliminated from Conference League:

Tottenham and Rennes failed to find new data for game which would be good for both teams. So, it's most likely that Spurs will get defeat 3:0 awarded.

There is still one last game to be played in the group stage: Tottenham - Rennes. As we all have heard, it was postponed due to covid-19 outbreak among many Tottenham players. Rennes complained to this decision but UEFA rejected it. I understand Rennes too as they think they might have a tighter schedule when the new date is decided. But it is the same for Tottenham too. They shouldn't be so selfish I reckon.

My team Spurs not playing but I guess almost every single post in this thread is talking about it,,, so dangerous to see spamming actually after 1 comment from nothing and so many copy pasters but anyway,,, not sure how we are going to cope, for sure Team B or even Team C has to step in or we will break Kane's ankles.

Conte will throw a super fit if we do not make it through Last 16  Grin

The decision of Tottenham to postpone the game, without discussing it with UEFA and Rennes seems really arrogant.
Having 13 people infected with COVID might seem a lot,but all the football players and employees at football clubs are supposed to be vaccinated(which isn't a guarantee that they won't get infected).
Football players usually don't suffer from severe illness, when they get infected with COVID.
The Conference league tournament isn't a priority for Tottenham,so why they didn't play the match with younger players? Are they too afraid of a humiliating defeat?

It was unexpected for me to see that Union Berlin were eliminated after getting a 1-1 draw against Slavia Prague. But I think the reason was that Union Berlin were an inexperienced team while Slavia Prague were the opposite. They maintained this score really well and deserved to qualify for the 1/16 finals. Union Berlin had no choice different than defeating their competitor but they couldn't.
It was a bit surprising to see union berlin with this poor performance especially on the first half only one off goal shot and they were the ones needing the win aftet last game win against leipzig i thought that they are gonna make it to the next stage.

Actually union berlin has a great chance of qualifying if they win but they waste it, but by getting a draw  of course  it is very profitable for slavia who is in second place, despite having quality and experience far below slavia praha, but union berlin I think has showed their best performance in the match, but indeed the quality of the game of the two teams made the difference even though in that match Union Berlin could make it difficult for Slavia, but the lack of opportunities that Union Berlin forwards were able to create forced them to fail this season.

The only game left in the group stage is Tottenham - Rennes now. It was postponed because there were so many players who got covid-19 virus in Tottenham squad unfortunately. And I don't know when this game will be played or maybe we won't even see it being played. This was an important game for Tottenham to be able to take the 2nd position from Vitesse. If this game is played, I think that Tottenham would be the winner. Rennes have guaranteed qualifying for the next round by keeping their lead in the end.
The tottenham match against rennes is one of the big games in my opinion, especially in the previous match rennes was able to draw tottenham with a score of 2-2, and I am really looking forward to whether tottenham who is currently being coached by conte will be able to get full points from rennes who are currently performing quite well good in the league, but unfortunately we have to postpone watching the match, because Conte has announced that there are currently 13 positive cases of COVID-19 at Tottenham, including 8 main players and also 5 staff.

It was going to be an important game in the conference league but was postponed due to coronavirus cases.  Depending on the outcome of the Rennes-Tottenham match, if Tottenham loses or draws they will fail in the group stages, if Tottenham win they will continue their way by finishing the group in second place.  It would be a big surprise if Tottenham didn't make it out of the group.  They should definitely beat Rennes.

did not quite catch that in the beginning, but top team is going directly to 1/8 stage, and second placed are going through 1/16 phase with teams from Europa league
Good point, I also wasn't aware about this thing. I think it makes big difference, especially if 2nd place team will get strong opponent from Europa league.
Some of them might get a chance to pass to 1/8 stage but most will leave imo.
Spurs made the mission very hard for them.. Rennes isn't that easy team, their last game in the first leg ended with a draw and they might try to tackle Spurs although they secured the first place to avoid seeing them at a later stage. Better to get ride of them from group stage.

Roma took some kind of a revenge on Bodo/Glimt today. Roma needed to win vs CSKA Sofia today to have a chance for the lead and they made it with a 3-2 advantage. They were leading by 3-0 already but CSKA Sofia were nearly making a historical comeback by scoring two goals in the last moments. And Bodo/Glimt drew with Zorya with a 1-1 result. This caused them to lose their lead to Roma.

Some expected wins in the europe conference cup. But my Partizan sadly just drawed against Anarthosis and that is just dissapointing but thank god we just need that 1 point to go to the next stage even tho we had so many injured players. Roma with an expected an easy win today

So, as expected Vitesse won easy against Mura and it means that Spurs must win against Rennes in postponed game.
My favourite underdog in Europe Slavia ended their match with Union 1:1 andwent to next round.

Vitesse is trying to score as much as they can against Mura, to make job difficult for Tottenham
Roma ended up as top placed, Partizan almost lost second position, but 1:1 in Belgrade against Anorthosis is enough for next round
