Tonight, the games of two Turkish teams ended positively for these teams. Trabzonspor had a tough opponent like Molde. The first game ended 3-3. Here, Trabzonspor got ahead 1-0 but they couldn't prevent the goal came in the last minute. After penalties, Trabzonspor managed to promote with a 4-3 score. Sivasspor had a quite easy opponent actually but they still couldn't prevent the game from going to the extra time. But they still managed to score one more goal in the extra time and eliminated their opponent, Dinamo Batumi.

Slava Ukraini!
30 qualifying games today, 1 already ended. My picks for tonight.
Rubin - Rakow - under 2.5 @1.58. No chance that it will be high scoring game, Rakow failed to score in 3 recent ECL games and they also don't let to do it for opponents. Safest my bet for today.
Qarabaq - AEL - home win @1.65
Hammarby - Cukaricki - home win @1.65
RFS Riga - Gent - over 2.5 @1.62
Viktoria Plzen - TNS - over 3.5 @1.75. Seems that match including TNS simply can't be low scoring.
Copenhagen - Lokomotiv Plovdviv - over 2.5 @1.62
Hibernians - Riga FC - away win @1.82
Larne - Pacos de Ferreira - away win @1.60
Sivasspor - Dinamo Batumi - home win @1.57
RThat's probably all for this time.

Lol yeah I probably won't be able to. I am not even from UK so I can't watch them personally, maaaybe if they ever reach to premier league and come here, or if they come here for a friendly or something which I really would love to see.

Aside from that, the great thing about them is that they shoot their games videos and do their own commentary as well on youtube, if you search hashtag united on youtube you can see bunch of games, some of them are friendlies so it is bad angles, but they were in FA cup last year (very very early stages) and the games were insane, just purely insane. Can't imagine how excited I can become if they actually become a big club one day but I do not follow them just for that, as long as they stay true to their roots it is fine.

Forgot to mention that my son knows of the team too, probably from one of their socials. I'm not a social media person myself but can't deny this team got it right, and got nothing against people who're current, who're relevant, etc.

Just not sure how I feel about a Love Island striker but hey, I've never looked much into personal lives of footballers;)

Don't worry about the stadium visit. I only saw Liverpool for the first time 17 years after supporting them. And then a second trip soon after, unexpectedly. When it happens, it will.

My favorite team has been "hashtag united" for a while now. I know it is cheesy, and I know it sounds like I am a 12 year old kid (wish I was, at least I wouldn't have ache all over my body like now) but I never really liked a team before, it just never felt like home for me, I just didn't want to really do anything that would force me to pick a team, I waited for a team to make sense to me and finally Hashtag did because they were like bunch of regular people like you and me, and now they have a club, it is really fun. They are now on 8th league of British pyramid, so that is definitely not going to be involved with any european cup yet, maybe for friendlies because they get views but that's about it.

But I am still excited because as a fan of the sport itself, I really love watching all the good teams and I looooove lower level teams getting better as well.
Nah man, nothing is cheesy. I support Liverpool and it's been getting cheesy for some time, but you have a team and then it's for life, you know? If my local team even still existed, I'd be paying my club dues still. Unfortunately they no longer exist and are still a painful memory to deal with, even though I have gotten over worse traumas in my life over the years;)

Good luck to your team. Are you ever able to watch them in person yet? Let's hope they find a way to Conference... by 2030? Haha.

Which league do you follow and which team are you supporting? I'm already a Liverpool fan, almost no room for anything else, but I'm following quite a few teams from the Caucasus (Armenia and Georgia, super good value bets at times actually if you look at them pre-match).

As I said before about the cash prizes, hope it goes into investments into academies and facilities, rather than splash out on player buys, though. Remember Leeds.

What'd I tell you all about TNS eh? Welsh power be flexing in Conference haha. They're already winning more prize money than they ever did I think at Europa and their fans must be going wild.
This was exactly what it was for! I am so excited about the lower level teams and their future, this is not just good for now, this is good to bring more competition to higher and higher places as well. I am not saying that they are going to end up fighting for a title at champions league, of course we know they are not going to be there, of course we know they will probably not going to be at champions league, but at least they are getting better and better which will help them be better at europa at least, or whatever "better" will be for them.

With more and more money coming into the team then they will end up buying better players, better facilities, better everything and maybe not today but in 10 years it could be a lot better and that is the type of thing conference league was created, if we see many teams all from europe do this, then we could be very happy about this.

is there any explanation for this? they are playing Russian premier, you have to have at least shirts on that level Smiley it is amazing to see this, nevertheless
Seems that simply quality of shirts were bad and rain washed-off numbers and names. But seems that Rubin accepted this thing with sense of humour and made some fun posts on social media about their shirt:
https://mobile.twitter.com/fcrk_en
They made auction for this shirt, someone bought it for almost €500, money will be donated to charity.

And nice catch on the shirts @LTU but I've seen really crazy jerseys over the years. Like when a team tried Braille numbers... forgetting that the only ones who can see braille are... not the blind? Haha.

Good intentions sometimes but poorly thought out;)

So many surprises again in this competition, they keep happening every week.TNS again won and destroyed Plzen in the end 4-2 with 2 late goals from Plzen,no body expected this too happen at all. Also Bodo/glimt lost as well against Pristhina thats just shocking

@Joca97 how are you keeping tabs on which team to wager on, because there’re many new teams and it’s getting really confusing which one is a good team and which one isn’t. Furthermore is it a good idea to wager on the underdog team to win, though it’ll take some research but if that’s the theme of this league then I might as well do it

Because im in this for a long long time. I know all of this teams and names pretty well and what league they are from. But TNS to win against Plzen is shocking . Some of this matches arent predictable at all. So you need to be very carefull with what you pick. Even hard favorites lose especially when they play away games. At home they o most win always

I haven't saw anything similar on such level Cheesy. Conference Leagye, baby!

regarding results, Partizan make it in Sochi, 1:1 should be fine for re-match in Belgrade, TNS is real surprise, Prishtina win is surprise, but bearing in mind Drita's play vs Feyenoord, maybe they just have better league than we think, Feyenoord won 0:3 in Lausanne, so there will no problem for next round, after having issues with Drita (Feyenoord could be Conference league winner in the end, have predicted that on some Dutch site, during Drita's matches)

You did fairly well, congrats!

Those two past rounds have been disastrous for me, and i'm usually good at capping lesser-known teams, hmm...guess not this year. Haven't watched the game but damn, who are these Latvian guys RFS, seriously 0-2 at the half? This is just bizarre:
Yeah, not bad day for me. I'm also amazed about Gent - RFS result, especially when Riga were leading 2:0. But it's one of matches when small club make few shots during whole game and convert it into goals and park bus. Even biggerr surprise happened with another club from Riga, they managed to lose at home against Hibernians from Malta. Odds for Hibernians were @17! Prishtina and TNS wins is also big upsets. Guys, remember our discussion about TNS and Welsh football last week? Smiley
And something epic, look at Rubin Kazan shirts:

goal attempts: Gent 31 - 4 RFS
corners: Gent 19 - 1 RFS
dangerous attacks: Gent 135 - 13 RFS

Hibernians from Malta 15/1, Prishtina 8/1, RFS draw 7/1, TNS 7/1 winning vs a team that not so long ago played CL group stages.

edit;

I watched first half of Dinamo Batumi - Sivasspor game but it was so slow and boring, I switched to Trabzonspor - Molde game. It's way better, there were two goals in first half. Trabzonspor is playing superior and they also have home advantage but they conceded a goal unexpectedly. I believe in second half they will find winning goal, you can bet on them. I like Gervinho and Hamšík but Djaniny's performance is under expectations so far. Nwakaeme scored a nice goal from corner organisation.

Let's bump this thread as we've got 30 matches from Conference League slated for today, what're everyone's best plays?

I've cooked two parlays, mostly centered around backing the favorites:

Luzern - Feyenoord btts + Lokomotiv Plovdiv - Copenhagen X2 @1.82 X

Luzern plays extremely offensive football, with well over 20 goals scored/conceded in their last five matches across all competitions. Feyenoord had quite the battle with the team from Kosovo in the previous round, and i'm sure they'll be glad to face and play in a more open match, O2.5 seems like a good bet here too.The only thing stopping me from picking the Danes (who are unequivocally the better team) to win outright is the extreme weather in the Balkans right now, with temps reaching up to 40C.

Laci - Anderlecht 2 + Gent - RFS 1 + Ujpest Clean sheet NO @1.69 X

The difference in class between those teams from Belgium and their opponents is tremendous, i see a comfy win for both, thus the low odds from bookmakers. Ujpest has conceded at least one goal in eight of their last nine matches, and i don't think they have a chance against a much stronger and higher-scoring side like Basel.

Thanks to removing away goal rule, now so many games went to extra time and penalties. But there weren't many surprises.
As surprises, I would mention Split Hajduk eliminated by Tobol, Shakhtyor Soligorsk again lost to Fola from Luxembourg. And offcourse, Feyenoord having hard time with Drita.
There were some more unexpected results, but not something sensational.

Away goal rule is relic of the past and it's good that UEFA has finally changed that rule.
It's no longer a surprise that Hajduk;  once a reputable club, is losing games to unknown and weaker teams.
Other Croatian clubs was very good,  Rijeka and Osijek.
Velez,  club with great traditon since former Yugoslavia,  made great result against Aek.
