Conference League returns tonight and while I avoided bets on UCL qualification last night, I might dip into the underdogs here.

I'm still wondering if I make any bets on these games, the biggest obstacle for me to avoid placing bets on these games is because I don't know these clubs, it's difficult for me to do pre-game analysis, I can't get much information on the TV channels either. , I even thought about making at least 3 bets betting on luck, for example: if team X has 1.50@ odds against team Z that has @2.0 odds I thought about using luck and betting on three games where the teams have @ 1.50 odds, but then I thought that this too is risky and I came back in indecision. I'm amazed when I see people placing bets on these games and winning them, and it's something amazing

Anyone here supporter of a team they want to get through tonight?

 Grin

I don't have a favorite team, to be honest if I make a bet it will be just to test my luck

Qarabag seem best value at around 2/1 but Hibernian actually looks like a good bet only 15/10 but they dominated the last match.

@LTU_btc winning 6 out 8 bets is very good especially considering this is a new league, so which two matches did you lose on?. Also how are you wagering on these matches, as most of the teams are unknown to me, do you actually dig up their history or it’s more gut based wagering if you should share some insights.
I lost bet on Olimpija - Birkirkara game where I had over 2.5 goals and also I backed Qarabaq to win, but their game ended 0:0.
I bet on teams which are at least a bit faniliar for me or I saw them playing. Also, I consider strength of league from which team come from. Finally, I follow UEFA tournaments qualfication for maybe 10 years already, so it helps to know who is who. Still, wouldn't call myself as expert there.

A lot of wierd results today in this new tournament was expecting a lot more winners from favorites. For me the main favorite for today was Partizan but they only won 1-0 was expecting a much bigger win. Also Feyenord wasnt able to win today thats a big shock in todays matches

yeah, expected more from Partizan as well, although Slovakian team is better than expected, 1:0 could be tricky in re-match
Feyenoord did not won in the end, and Buducnost and Borac Banja Luka losing by high margin are also somewhat unexpected results

Ujpest came in the end, 2:1, and Hajduk beat Tobol from Kazakhstan at home, there were material to put a good bet, but I have put live bet on Feyenoord in the second half, that they will eventually score a goal in Pristina, did not happen unfortunatelly

Won 6 of 8 my bets tonight, I think it's not bad result. But there was some really surprising results.
Feyenoord didn't managed to beat small team from Kosovo, game ended 0:0.
Fola from Luxembourg beat Shakhtyor Soligorsk 2:1
Torshavn from Faroe Islands demokished Buducnost from Montengro 4:0.
Inter (from Andorra, not Milan) won 2:0 against Teuta.
Teams from completely amateur leagues having really good time so far.

I watched Turkish side Demir Grup Sivasspor match, they won 1-0 in away game. They also missed a penalty at extra time. Yatabare should've shot better in that penalty kick. Still one goal advantage is good in away game, I'm sure at home they will play with full concentration and win again. Honestly I haven't even heard Petrocub before this game, Moldova is a small country and this is an average team. I'm glad Sivas won the game because we desperately need country coefficient points.

Stayed away from this one myself, got bitten by UCL qualifications and Olympics, so going to save myself some money for the weekend instead. If I WERE betting though, I'd eye these upsets:

Ashdod (vs Qarabag) @7/1
Maribor (vs Hammarby) @7/1
Laci (vs Universitatea Craiova) @5/1

And if adventurous a complete unknown to me Drita (20/1) vs Feyenoord because... Dutch teams have been struggling haha.

Ujpest vs Vadzu - home win @1.82
This round with many not familiar team is still to risky to play with big money.

agree, while I do not play big money on bookies for some time now, days like this are great to put some small money to have whole day to watch some smaller teams

Slask and Astana are in the lead, in first matches, and I have few on my list as well, Plzen over2.5, Copenhagen over2.5, Partizan home win
regarding Ujpest, the odds on home win is rising, not sure about that match, Vaduz is playing Swiss league, and their only match in Budapest finished 0:4 in UEFA qualification

Need some love for our farmers' league is playing right now and the British are having mixed fortunes, The New Saints already 4-0 up so should progress quite easily to meet Viktoria Plzeň/Dynamo Brest, but Connah's Quay are fighting two goals down with not much left to play. Hibs to win the late game you think?

Tre Penne lost with 3:0, so that could be counted as good game for them Smiley
Sarajevo is out, they had easy home match with Moldavians, and after conceiving fast goal they did not had courage to come back

nevertheless, first round is finished, and there will more interesting matches from this point, with higher level clubs joining

Indeed! Markets weren't available or I'd have taken a HT handicap, which was 10/1, and they did actually end the HT "only" 0-1 down! Really have to find more of these markets during the early rounds. Polish teams have done well so far, as did 2 of 3 Irish teams. Armenia not so much, except that famous Ararat win. Not a bad league after all eh?

I think this is very reasonable, because the competition is still very new and of course there will be very few football fans who know the format and also the teams competing in the competition now, maybe if the competition goes well enough in the first season, I am very sure if the conference league in the future will be able to become one of the competitions that is quite prestigious in my opinion, as is the case with the champions and european leagues which have become a competition that has indeed become very global and has also become the target of clubs and football players to be able to play in these competitions.

Yeap, I also see it as a competition that has a lot of potentials to become famous.
I'm still trying to get to know the teams better and make some bets "here and there" without the intention of winning anything right now, just forcing myself to get to know the teams better and be able to make more accurate bets.
It's been fun despite stealing me more time than anticipated.

I just hope that soon we will have more sites accepting bets in this competition.

@alegotardo at this stage I’m only keeping a watch from distance, because I don’t know many of these teams hence I won’t be wagering now. Furthermore the only way this league can gain traction is if some popular teams end up in the semis or the finals, because if some unknown team ends up in finals then the league won’t gain much traction amongst the fans.

Tre Penne is at 50/1 haha, was even 60 at one point but I don't mind taking them even against my own favourite. Go San Marino =D

What odds for Ararat win was? I think this result is quite big surprise.

Was 5/1 but went down below as the match approached. Even managed to double the lead towards the end. If Noah complete it too (12/1), I'll be ecstatic. But they're already down a goal heh heh.

Good picks for you, they all ML bets? I actually bet on Europa last season when they were in Europa League but the best they did were draw, so perhaps the wise bet for them is handicaps since they don't seem to want to win either. Huge, huge underdogs!

My bets for today games:
Urartu vs Mribor - away win @1.75
Kauno Zalgiris vs Europa - home win @1.95. In 1st leg Zalgiris were completely outplayed by amateurs from Gibraltar, but I don't expect similar scenario today.
Runavik vs Honka - away win @1.63
Dinamo Batumi vs Tre Penne - over 3.5 @1.70
Klaksvik vs Riga - BTTS @1.55
Hesperange vs Domzale - w-away win @1.55

We have a huge number of games with one already ongoing (and it's my pals Ararat who're 1-0 up now as the underdogs woohoo!).

Too long to list, but full schedule is here: https://www.livescores.com/soccer/europa-conference-league/qualification/ with stats and live scores, so why not, right?

As I've mentioned before, my teams supported are from the Caucasus, so that's also Noah, Batumi I can recognise playing tonight. Give them some love, gentlemen!

So we had THIRTY games last night, and I stupidly bet on some that I've been familiar with (and may have mentioned earlier are the ones I'm looking at). They've brought me some small joy in their domestic leagues but I guess here is where they see just how far they've come in a new competition against champions from other similar leagues (in terms of coefficients).

My picks from yesterday and their results:
Batumi (won 4-0)
Ararat (drew 1-1)
Slask Wroclaw (won 2-1)
Noah (won 1-0)

I love them Caucascus teams =p
Well this brings joy to small countries. But all of these teams 95% of them or more wont even make it to the group stage i guess. A lot harder teams are from the second qualification round. Most of these teams all of us dont even know about so this is mostly blind betting in this first round.
