We will watch highly enjoyable matches in the Europa League. My favorite team is Arsenal. A team of young and talented players. They are a very in form team right now and they are playing a very good team game. They can create squad depth and be successful in both the Premier League and the Europa League. The groups i am curious about are C and F. Roma draws attention in Group C. Lazio is one of the other teams im curious about. They also formed a good staff this year and things are going well so far. Sarri football has started to meet expectations, but there are defensive errors. If they strengthen the defense they can be a surprise team in the tournament.
Everyone taking sides with Arsenal, yes they are playing very well topping the league ( I meant the premier league ) but what happens when the Europa League starts? I'll wait to see how they adapt to injuries and fatigue also flying away from Europe to play games also.
Ever since they won the last Premier league with Arsene Wenger, they haven't really been more of a consistent side as they use to be during the good old days with the french manager.
Everyone has them own opinions to make and I'm okay with that I don't think I can take a quick decision immediately I have to wait till January to access how it all goes.
@Oluwa-btc if I were in Arteta shoes then I wouldn’t prioritise the Europa league, because after so many year’s there’s a realistic chance of winning the league title. Furthermore if they continue in this fine form in premier league then their champions league spot is all but assured, hence in my personal opinion Arsenal won’t be a contender to win the Europa league because they’ll want to secure the league title over the Europa trophy.
Even though I would love to see some serious competition for Manchester City, I can't see how Arsenal is going to be ahead of the after 38 game days. No discussion that the start was outstanding, but City just hardly gives games away. Arsenal would probably score in the 90 points range at least.
For the Europa League I think that Manchester United could play an important role. After that horrific start they are now much more stable. Then the transfer and even a Ronaldo might prove helpful at some point during the season. It is not as if he can't score anymore.
After a convincing win over Arsenal at EPL, now Manchester United are again preparing to host Real Sociedad in their Europa League Group E clash at Old Trafford on Thursday.
Erik ten Hag has promised to give Cristiano Ronaldo the support and time he needs to get back on his feet with his Manchester United team-mates, and it is likely that Ronaldo will be entrusted with starting the game, but Erik ten Hag look at the team situation and the player's condition in training.
Now Ronaldo is forced to focus solely on United, and Ten Hag has promised to give playing time to help Ronaldo get back to his best.
If Ronaldo is smart enough and doesn't want to leave the soccer stage as a crying diva he should give his very best to help his team and acknowledge and respect ten Haag's decisions. Everyone remembers how he went crazy in the final of the European Championship and people respected him for how engaged he was even though he couldn't play anymore because of his injury. Now with all the experience he has the job changes a bit from being the 90 minutes superstar to also having important roles outside the soccer field.
Thomas Müller gave a great answer when he was asked what he thinks of Nagelsmann's decision to not let him start against Union Berlin and his answer was "we have so many unbelievable players, have fun being the coach yourself and make decisions everyday. We should ask you the same question then". I thought that was very respectful and authentic. Ronaldo should accept his role and be there if he is needed. Hard to learn for someone like him, but he could still turn into a key player.
in these last games of manchester united in the premier league it became evident that cristiano ronald needs to leave manchester united if he wants to end his career in a good way, I say this for the following reasons:
1 - cristiando ronaldo doesn't even play in manchester united anymore, he doesn't play 90 minutes, there are already many games in this situation
2 - manchester united is winning the games without cristiano ronaldo, so it's already clear that manchester doesn't need cristiano ronaldo.
So what's the point of ronaldo being in manchester where he doesn't even play?
for this season in my opinion arsenal, manchester united and rome are the teams that have the greatest chances of being champions, as for rome I would say that after the humiliating defeat in series A makes me worried, they are not managing to score goals regularly. while Arsenal and Manchester United are strong
