Sevilla played worse than ever this season. Looking at where they finished in the league does not always provide good statistics. The fact that Sevilla lost their last match in the league caused them to finish the league in a bad ranking. Actually, the points difference between them and their rivals is not that much.
But in general, we can say that they could not show the performance expected from them throughout the season

Most of the non Spanish supporters in football knew about Sevilla because of their incredible success in the UEFA Europa League competition but unfortunately for them, last season was one of their poorest seasons in recent years. Sevilla who happens to be the most successful club in the history of Europa League did not only fail to qualify for a spot in the competition come next season but totally failed to finish last Spanish La Liga season in a position that disqualifies them from any European competition. It got a moment I was even thinking they might not survive relegation from the Spanish top flight in the just concluded season but I'm very happy they survived and now have a chance to make up for their poor outing.
Next season, I expect Sevilla to bounce back to winning ways and fight for a Europa League qualification position so they can get back to a competition they enjoy playing in.

When we know Real Madrid as the ruler of the Champions League, of course we cannot deny that Sevilla as the ruler of the European League, Sevilla is a team that has won 7 European League trophies as well as being the team that has the most European League trophies today, but after winning their 7th trophy last season, their performance has decreased drastically,  Not only in La Liga but currently of course they are not playing in the Europa League next season after not managing to finish in the Europa League zone, Sevilla's drastically declining performance this season certainly surprises us all because indeed previously they had a pretty good performance and even managed to appear quite consistently in the Europa League.

Next season, Sevilla is absent from the Europa League and of course it is quite sad for Europa League fans so far, the poor management of the team makes their finances currently in poor condition, so indeed they are only able to rely on old players who no longer have a good enough performance this season.

We all know how promising xabi is at Leverkusen and all things been equal with consistent improvement, they can still do something Great again this season both I'm the champions league and the bundesliga, I'm very optimistic about their form and abilities in general, even if I know it's going bro be a challenging one for them because of the attention that's now focused on them but Xabi has got a very strong winning mentality and has always appeared confident enough to be able to handle whatever it is the season comes with.

The flop in the Europa finals may likely serve as a lesson for the Leverkusen team and I'm sure they must have taken note and will put in place all that will be needed to not allowing such happen again this season if they get so lucky to get to the finals of the champions league probably, but most likely they may get the bundesliga again

Maybe we discuss Leverkusen too often, but yes, I admit that Leverkusen has proven that the club is worthy of competing with top clubs in different competitions and is also able to compete in the UEL until the final round, but the results are very sad because Leverkusen, although they look strong, are mentally weak players are not sufficiently prepared for the final round.
This could happen in the next season when Leverkusen will get the same results but will ultimately fail in certain rounds.

However, there is another very interesting thing that we must discuss, namely that next season's UEL will not have the strongest clubs appearing in this competition because Leverkusen, Atalanta and several other strong clubs managed to qualify for the Champions League and this is an opportunity for other clubs like Liverpool, Man Utd and other clubs to show their strongest performance in this UEL because there is no favorite club that dominates every match.
Meanwhile, Sevilla this time also had a very bad decline in performance so they were unable to get tickets to UEL which made the fans disappointed.

I like your enthusiasm for Leverkusen. Xabi Alonso? Class act, great player, promising coach. They had a good run. Still, being destroyed by Atalanta? Champions dont act in that way. Not just when they feel like it, champions show up every game. Yes, Xabi has promise. He's not yet Pep though. Lets see him outsmart the big dogs week in and week out before we start handing out trophies. Atalanta made clear a major flaw in Leverkusen's strategies. They got man-marked to death, couldnt build any momentum. So, are they on the right path? Maybe. Still, they're not there yet. There is job to be done. They must develop more steadily, intelligently, and toughly.

It was hardly Leverkusen's fault, but Xabi had never met a team that did man-to-man marking like that. That is the fundamental shortcoming of Leverkusen's strategy. Leverkusen relied on the buildup from the bottom. This further complicates the matter. That is why Atalanta trashed Leverkusen.
Many people questioned Atlanta's performance, yet I remember predicting Atlanta to win the game. Xabi was overconfident about their performance. Leverkusen wondered if the Europa League was the same as the Bundesliga.
Gasperini was the key reason why Bayern Leverkusen was doing so poorly in recent games. I salute him. Despite the fact that Gasperini has never won a trophy in his tenure with Atalanta. He was able to deliver a Europa League trophy to Atalanta.
Leverkusen was successfully destroyed with one-on-one marking. Xabi is good, but he lacks experience.

Sevilla are failing to perform both in La Liga and in Europe and their players are losing value day by day. Furthermore, Sevilla's problems have been compounded by their recent poor transfer planning and having too many old players. Sevilla's economic situation is also getting worse every day and the lack of players to generate income is dragging them into this spiral. The fact that Sevilla doesn't want a change in management shows that Sevilla will find it difficult to get out of this quagmire. If Sevilla want to get back to the old days, they need to focus on young players and the academy, but will Sevilla fans who are used to success have the patience for that? I don't think so.

The season that Bayer Leverkusen has gone through is truly impressive and made more eyes turn to them last season. But next season it looks like it will be very different because Leverkusen will not be in the European League and will be in a more prestigious league so their achievements will definitely be different because the opponents that Leverkusen will face are very different opponents. However, for the Bundesliga, I am sure that Leverkusen will again dominate almost the same as last season if their rivals still do not experience a significant revival.

This will be an opinion from each individual's point of view, because we will definitely have different assessments of the team's performance, one of which is Leverkusen which we are discussing here. I personally might be able to say that they are an elite team in the Bundesliga, but they cannot be said to be an elite team in the Champions League, they have only been in the Champions League 13 times (if I'm not mistaken) and their best achievement is being runners up. That's what makes me say Leverkusen is not yet an elite team in the Champions League, but for the Bundesliga I think it's still okay.
They have to prove it first if they want to be considered one of the elite teams in the Champions League. Because competition in the Champions League is not easy, even now there are still narratives that they will fail miserably in the Champions League, so they have to answer things like this with their best performance and silence the people who doubt them.

Sevilla is the team with the most titles in the European League, they have managed to win the European League 7 times and that makes them the team that has won the most times. This season they are not here because their poor form means they cannot compete for at least a place to go to the Europa League in the Champions League group stages. That was their failure, because if they were in the Europa League maybe this would be a different story.

Sometimes I feel strange when I see their performance in the European League, because it is a very different performance from their performance in the domestic league, in fact they have been champions many times and are considered the rulers of the European League, just like Real Madrid are considered the rulers. Champions League. However, the difference is that Real Madrid has a performance that is as good as their performance in La Liga, but I see Sevilla as a different team.

Yes, even though Leverkusen had a big chance of winning the Europa League title last season, this is not a definite guarantee, even though Leverkusen's chances are bigger, the Europa League is not only about extraordinary achievements without losing but also focusing on continuing to optimize their performance so that they are not easily read by their opponents, Xabi Alonso did his best for Leverkusen last season in the league and won the title there, but for international tournaments Leverkusen is still having a little difficulty because it is filled with elite clubs who have impressive performances in their respective leagues.

Leverkusen is not yet considered an elite club, a club is said to be an elite club if they are able to match the level of other elite clubs and are able to stay in the top flight for a long period of time, whereas Leverkusen has only felt this this season, it seems to be on par with other elite clubs, but about we don't know the consistency of future performance because it is quite difficult to maintain consistency with fierce competition which increasingly poses a difficult challenge for the coach to maintain Leverkusen's good performance next season and Leverkusen's good performance is also thanks to Xabi Alonso's skills so I still trust this coach.

Honestly, I'm surprised that Girona wants to accept the offer from Leverkusen. Although Girona still has other midfielders but it is not easy to find out a good leader for the team. However, this will be good for Leverkusen, they get a great additional player for their midfield line. Leverkusen have 4 options for their midfield line now: Xhaka, Andrich, Palacios, and Aleix Garcia.

I think it is too early to talk about UCL trophy. Leverkusen even failed to win Europa league trophy. If we analyzed their final match in Europa league against Atalanta, this team still has a lack experience to play in the top competitions. The need to focus on improving their mentality first, also they need to build the quality of the squad. This will be the key to succeed in the highest competition like UCL and UEL.

Anyway, both goals and assists are important. That's why both midfielders and attackers must be quality players. And all the players must have good teamwork to play effectively.

I don't want to believe that a team who went through an entire Bundesliga season without conceding a defeat isn't an elite team. Bayer Leverkusen might not belong to the traditional big clubs in  Europe but their performance in the just concluded season goes a long way to tell how impressive they're as a team which is why I strongly believe that they belong to the elite clubs in Europe. Except losing the final of last season's UEFA Europa League final, Bayer Leverkusen never lost any other game through out the season and now holds the record for most unbeaten run by any European club.
Next season, they'll be playing in the UEFA Champions League competition and even when I don't expect them to win the trophy, I strongly believe that they'll do well as a team. Xabi Alonso is building a club that's likely to be the next biggest thing in Europe and I think he'll succeed in his quest

Xabi Alonso is building a dynasty with Leverkusen, if the manager stays for a longer period of time, Xabi Alonso can turn Leverkusen into an elite club, not only in the Bundesliga but in Europe in general. Leverkusen journey is still worthy of appreciation, they managed to record a historic record, which in my opinion is quite difficult to surpass in the following seasons. The defeat to Atalanta was very disappointing, but that does not change the fact that Leverkusen has won 52 of 53 matches in one season. Meanwhile, everyone was shocked by Atalanta achievements, they acted beyond predictions, and became the most surprising team by successfully beating Leverkusen. Apart from all that, last season Europa League was more interesting than previous seasons, and there were lots of surprises to entertain us all.

If someone managed to place a combo bet with over 1.75 goals for the first half of today's Euro 2024 games, they would get x120. (half win in Hungary - Switzerland) I placed the same bet but I was too scared, so I cashed out before the Italy vs Albania game started. What happened next was that the game made history with the fastest goal in Euro League history. When that happened, I felt too much regret because I knew Italy could make at least one goal in the first half.

Bayer Leverkusen was opportune to win the Europa League title but shocking thrashed by Atalanta. Impressive results will go a long way for the club that have worked really hard. There's always a reward that awaits these consistent clubs when it comes to major tournaments. Why don't you classified Bayer Leverkusen as elite team?  They've done everything up to this standards, and the headcoach, Xabi Alonso is promising and straight when it comes to major achievement.

A very determined and strong willed coach who has got a very good winning mentality as well is what I see in Xabi as a coach and I believe just like be did in the Europa and the bundesliga last season, he will be willing to do something really good and similar or better than he did in the last season so I wouldn't be surprised if I see that he's conquering the champions league too but I know it's going to be a very daunting task because he will be contending for the bundesliga where be will be trying to defend that which he win in the previous season that just ended.

Improvement is inevitable with Leverkusen as if they will be able to surmount the challenge they will be faced with in the champions league them they will have to make sure above that which they have now, rhey have a whole lot with which they will be able to perfectly stay ahead or possibly challenge the top teams or the bigger boys of the champions league especially teams like Manchester city and Real Madrid who has got the highest champions league title in the history of the league. All these are challenges I'm sure xabi is very much aware of and will be ready to face.

Both teams actually made it to the Champions League, but the first thing is that they will feel different playing in the game, but the best is that it will be very exciting to see Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta struggling with this Niger team because the Champions League is the game for the winners, which is far different than the Europa League. 

So to me, what I will say is that they don’t only need a good performance but also the confidence and courage to play the game, because even though you have a good performance without any tangible confidence or experience, you will definitely end up losing all your efforts. Not to mention the two teams, Atalanta and Beyer Leverkusen, that many people are already expecting more from them. I just can’t wait to see their performance. 

The two teams earned their places in the Champions League. Leverkusen has that youthful passion, and those Atalanta players are like a pack of hungry wolves on the field. But this is Champion League Leverkusen's kids are gonna have to grow up fast, and Atalanta needs to prove they're not just a one-hit wonder. Can they hang out with the big boys, like City, Real Madrid, or Bayern. While I'm not saying they can't, it's a lot more difficult than the Europa League

The Champions League chews up and spits out teams with more experience than these two. It will be fascinating to watch them try to make a splash, but I won't hold my breath for them to win
