I'm certainly not underestimating the success of Bayer Leverkusen. 51 game unbeaten streak and undefeated championship title are not easy achievements. But if we consider that their toughest and most serious opponent this season is Bayern Munich and Bayern's poor form this season, Leverkusen's success does not seem like a dream achievement. Because Bayern Munich were really bad this season. They even finished third in the league behind Stuttgart.

Would you say Bayern was bad last season when they won the Bundesliga? I'm guessing your answer would probably be no, but the fact is, this season they've scored 1 point more than in the last one. They also got through to the Champion's League semi-final and fought a good fight against the winner, Real Madrid.
They failed to achieve their goal in the league, but calling that a "really bad" season is a bit ignorant.

Bayer Leverkusen has won the league undefeated, established a new record of games without a loss, and were very close to setting a new record of most points in the league.

There's just no pleasing you, it seems.
I guess you don't fully understand what he meant when he said Bayern Munich had a very bad season but I'll throw a little more light on that phrase. Bayern Munich as we all know has is unarguably the strongest club in Germany and that's because they have a better number of quality and world class players than any other club in the German Bundesliga so for them to finish third behind Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart, it's assumed by many football folks that it wss a bad season for Bayern Munich.
Bayer Leverkusen in the other hand won the German Bundesliga in the most successful style ever known in the history of the league because they finished an entire season without conceding a defeat. Next season, it's also impossible for them to achieve everything they achieved this season because of how careful the teams that'll face them will be.
If Leverkusen can keep up to their game pattern and improve their performance, it is still possible for them to defend the title. One thing I know is that they cannot be unbeaten next season because alot of clubs are planning and preparing for them right now for next season.

It is really a bad season for Bayern Munich last season based on who they are. It has been long that Bayern Munich missed the title and this should the a warning for them that other clubs are building their team to be very strong in order to win the title because they are not the only club in Germany.

In my opinion, this is a very difficult target for them to achieve, because in the Champoins League it will not be easy for them to get through smoothly. The team they will face in the Champions League will be much stronger than the team they faced this season, their most visible difference is in terms of mentality. The mentality of the teams in the Champions League will be much higher and that will be a challenge for Leverkusen.

But I wouldn't rule out the possibility that they could get it all. Before that, we also have to confirm whether they will be able to play well or not. Keep in mind that they played well this season and it is not certain that next season they will be able to do the same. So we have to first determine whether they will play well or not. Because everything is not visible at the moment because the league is still on holiday and there are no more matches, like pre-season for example. So we have to be a little more patient to wait for their game.
For next season, Bayern Leverkusen will participants in UEFA Champion League and its not easily how to manage unbeaten record until reach the final round in Europe League when participating at Champion League. Actually huge difference level between Champion League and Europe League depend domestic league standings finish team and Champion League dominance by the winner of domestic league have consistent performance. Not easy first appearance for Xabi Alonso will be head coach of Bayern Leverkusen will participants in Champion League and seems will be in difficult group phase.

Europe League next season seems keep interested because has top teams such as Manchester United and AS Roma will participants after winning FA Cup and United get direct ticket for playing in Europe League, its opportunity for Europe League teams participants get qualifying to Champion League become the winner if get difficult reach the Champion League spot standings in their domestic league competition.

It depends on how they perform, if they are in a relatively easy group but they fail to perform well, I think that will also be a problem. We can see how Manchester United fared in the Champions League group stages this season. They were the favorite team to qualify for the group, but their performance was very disappointing and that meant they had to fail and they were even ranked last in the final standings.
Leverkusen is a team that is playing well this season, even though they are in a difficult group, but if they can perform well I still believe that they will be able to qualify from the group. Once again this depends on how they will look. Whether they will play well or not. This requires consistency, that is one of the important factors that every team must have. Xabi Alonso must have realized that their opponents were a good team too, so he had to prepare everything very well.
Well I don't why my thoughts are this way but I feel Bayern Leverkusen this season will be the center of eyes of all their opponent they are playing because in the football world now knows the capability of this team and will definitely not underated them and this was what Leverkusen also used to win lots of games as team didn't actually knew their capability and aslo game style but this time this case would be different and that's why they need to work hard @xabi Alonso.
It's not just you who think like this, but almost everyone will also think like that, because what they did this season was truly extraordinary and it attracted a lot of attention to them. Now many people are waiting and want to see how Leverkusen will perform in the Champions League next season, whether they will perform well or vice versa. This is something we usually see if there is a team that usually performs normally but this season performs extraordinary, that will make them get a lot of attention.
Not only them actually, Girona will also receive greater attention than usual after they managed to get to 3rd place in the La Liga standings, which is very difficult to get there. However, there will be differences from Leverkusen and Girona, because Leverkusen finished the season without defeat in the Bundesliga and they only had 1 defeat in all the matches they played this season. So attention to them will be much greater.

It is not an easy thing to be able to compete in the Champions League, because in the Champions League the big teams compete, for Leverkusen of course they will compete with other big teams and maybe this will make it difficult for them, it is very unlikely that Leverkusen can immediately dominate the League Champions.

Bayern Leverkusen cannot just come in their first season in the champions league after so many years to dominate and win the game. They need to exert some kind of force that will not be stopped by any other team. They are the best in the Bundesliga and that doesn’t mean they’ll be the best in the champions league also. There are level to this, and I don’t think they can be able to win it straight up or even get past the semifinals if at all they’re able to make it that far in the competition.

Xabi Alonso is a great coach in the Bundesliga and Europa League, but for the biggest competition being the champions league, they’re never the ones to that will dominate it so soon. They need to show that consistency and keep coming back yearly to get a good grasp of the whole competition. Just after that, they can now confidently fight for the competition’s trophy in the coming years.

Leverkusen couldn't dominate in the league against important opponents. In the Uefa Europa League, they made it out of the easiest group of the tournament with 6/6. In the last 16 round, they eliminated their rival Karabakh with a goal after the 90th minute. They eliminated their closest rivals West Ham in the quarterfinals and Roma in the semifinals with difficulty. They made it to the final without a loss and lost to their first serious and formidable opponent Atalanta in the final. A brisk and disciplined Gasperini Atalanta extinguished Leverkusen's dreams. Leverkusen were complacent throughout the season and they hit the first big rock very heavily. This deceptive success made them complacent. I don't think they will have a successful season in the Champions League.

As a target for next season, Xabi Alonso will also try to get a treble winner, just because next season Bayer Leverkusen will have to fight in the Champions League. Of course Leverkusen fans themselves must have more logical hopes for Leverkusen's achievement in the Champions League because we all know that competition in the Champions League is always not easy to get through each phase until it reaches the final. However, on the one hand, I also agree with what you said that Xabi Alonso's own abilities still have to be the main appreciation at Leverkusen because he is definitely capable of taking Leverkusen to the semifinals of the Champions League next season.

Xabi Alonso has led Leverkusen to become a team that is difficult to beat, whether in the domestic league or in the UEL, even though in the end they were defeated by Atalanta in the UEL final yesterday, of course that doesn't make them low, I think Atalanta and Leverkusen deserve to move up to a more difficult level again, namely playing in the UCL next season, even though their strength may not be completely ready to face this challenge, they will try their best to be able to compete in the UCL next season.

Some of the teams that qualify for the UEL next season, it seems that As Roma and Manchester United could be quite strong teams there, although there are many other strong teams that have the potential to qualify for the UEL final next season, but I believe that As Roma also seems to be successful next season. If De Rossi has the financial support to be able to get more players in their main squad, the tight competition will also make the match at UEL even better. Apart from that, Manchester United, who are retaining Ten Hag, should also be able to show their abilities at UEL later.

The achievements obtained by Leverkusen are of course due to the help of Xabi Alonso who succeeded in making Leverkusen a team that is difficult to beat, in fact I myself was very enthusiastic when I was going to watch their final match against Atalanta, even though I was behind in the first half I thought Leverkusen would turn things around in second half, but in fact Atalanta dominated more, apart from that, Leverkusen's game at that time I saw that they didn't play well because in my opinion they played unsettledly, I don't know what made them play less than optimally.

In my opinion, Roma is still on the verge of confusion if De Rossi does not receive full support, including from a financial perspective. That will make things difficult for him, because we know coaches will have difficulties if they play with minimal players, because they also have their own tastes, so to develop I think they must be given full support.

Maybe, if in the group phase Bayer Leverkusen is not together with the top teams, then maybe Bayer Leverkusen will have a chance to become group winners or maybe just runners up. But the point is, I personally believe Bayer Leverkusen is capable of advancing to the knockout phase of the last 16, the quarter-finals or maybe even qualifying for the semifinals. Because I personally am still quite confident about the quality and abilities of Xabi Alonso, even though there may be several key players who might leave, but I still believe Xabi Alonso will be able to make the Bayer Leverkusen squad good next season. Therefore, failure to win the Europa League trophy and at the same time failing to win the treble winner last season will of course allow Bayer Leverkusen to improve better next season.

But in the end, something like this has to be done because when a club is as new and improved as Leverkusen this season, there obviously has to be a new challenge and the Champions League is a suitable place to test whether they are worthy or still need improvement for their current club.
Being in the Champions League will indeed be very difficult but on the other hand this is clearly hunted by many clubs including big clubs because after all this is an arena to prove themselves that indeed their club is not only good in the domestic league but for big competitions they can compete.

This is what Leverkusen must show because after all for now they have to go through it because it is the only way they have to do it. This is a test for Xabi and as a benchmark whether they deserve to be called the best club or not even though their chances are still slim compared to some other big clubs but with this season's achievements they are certainly a dark horse for next season.

You have made some points here, and strongly agree with you that Bayern Leverkusen will be have a great performance in the next season's Champions League competition because I believe he isn't happy with the fact that he lost that Europa final game to Atalanta which made it seem the whole effort last season doesn't worth it after they failed to lift that trophy which everyone expected of them, so I believe he will try to contact that impression that the team is still capable and formidable team regardless.

Imagine if they wake up seeing that Xavi Alonso will leave Bayer Leverkusen. What will happen to the team? Because now they are just like one of the teams with higher expectations to be seen in them in the next season, not only in the Champions League but in all other leagues that are present, although he has already officially announced that he will still stay for one more season with Bayer Leverkusen, so there is no tension.

And even though he is leaving Bayer Leverkusen, I think his next target should be Liverpool because they need him the most. At first, I thought he would like to replace Klopp, but not until Arne Slot replaced Klopp. Although Arne Slot might do something tangible for Liverpool, I just imagine that if Xavi Alonso became their coach next season, how will Liverpool be on top without fear?
Xabi Alonso has already rejected the offers that was made to him by other teams since he still has a contract with his team Bayer Leverkusen, If he decides to change his mind and leave the team before the start of the next season, Leverkusen may find it difficult to maintain their good performance because the new coach that will be introduced to the team may not be lucky to win matches like Xabi Alonso won with the team.

People should not expect Bayer Leverkusen to become champions league winners next season because they managed to win the German league they are coming into the competition after a long time they will still need some time to learn and study the competition before they will gather the experience to play comfortably there so for next season, I don't see them going very far unless the luck shines on them again.

Xabi Alonso is not leaving Leverkusen any time soon because he has not come out to say that besides Liverpool has a replacement for Kloop already so i doubt if Alonso will be going to England as the head coach of Liverpool anytime soon, he is still very happy where he is in Germany.

Your is actually same with that which most persons have got in recent times so it not even out of place and it's very normal for almost everyone to want to think the way because the record they had both in the domestic league and the Europa is such that everyone would want to know if they will be able to repeat it again in the coming season. Last season them not been a popular team know for a very good performance was an advantage and that helped them achieve the much they achieved because before people begin to realize how much they are doing and the potential they have got, it was late already and the season was almost coming to an end .

In the coming season which is the new season, I believe that Leverkusen will be given attention even from the very beginning of the season because they are now known to have a form that shouldn't be joked with especially as compared to what they were able to achieve through last season. Any team that will be playing against Leverkusen in the domestic and champions league will want to do only but their best because they are now seeing Leverkusen as a top team like Madrid and Manchester city and so Madrid will have to work even harder to be able to maintain their status in this new season even if not with the records again but having decent finish in both league games.

If Xabi Alonso goes to Liverpool by next season, there is every tendency that they will be back competing for all the trophies in Europe,Xabi knows how he can get the best from his players, therefore his presence at Leverkusen is the reason why they are doing so well, anything that makes him leave them, they will go back to where they were, but as he said, that he is focused on staying with them for another season, and maybe after then,he can make his potentials move to Liverpool, whether he can fulfill his dream.Ane Slot is going to struggle a little bit setling down in EPL in my eyes, but I hope he makes Liverpool remain in the top three.

We know that the level of competition in the Champions League is not easy even though Atalanta and Leverkusen hold the status of European League finalists. However, both teams have good self confidence, because they had achievements last season. This is different from other Champions League contestants, who managed to get tickets but did not win any domestic trophies. I think the strength of Atalanta and Leverkusen should be taken into account in the Champions League next season, they could be a surprise team, especially as their manager is still at the club. The squad depth of the two teams has not changed much, I think there has actually been an increase, this will be a good sign for them.

The most realistic target that Atalanta or Leverkusen can set is to reach the quarter-finals or semifinals, because I doubt they or any of them can reach the final. The Champions League will actually never be easy for anyone, mentality and experience determine everything there. Apart from all that, the presence of these two teams in the Champions League is an attraction in itself, considering that they had an impressive season last season. Everyone is curious about their performance next season, especially when they play in the Champions League.
Just because they won it or finalist, doesn't mean they will do fine. Look at Sevilla, they won previous season and then became fourth in their group. I mean that is a bad example of course because I think both Atalanta and Leverkusen should be considered better than Sevilla, that is true, but still, we are talking about a whole new level of talent when we move from Europa to UCL.

The best thing they could hope for would be going back down, but I think that is not a thing anymore, is it? This new system will take a while before people could actually get used to it, I am looking at it and seeing that it is not going to be all that easy, feeling like we are going to not know how the rules will work without living through the period.

Any team can go through difficult times, remember how Arsenal were at the bottom of the table a few seasons ago, or Lyon in Ligue 1, but great teams always find a way out of any difficult situation. Sevilla is famous for its achievements in the Euro cups, and in La Liga they have always been in the European competition zone. I think it’s good that they were able to stay in La Liga, now they need to think about how to strengthen the team, this may require a lot of finances, it all depends on how ready they are for this.
What is happening to Sevilla today is of course a normal thing for a football team, so far many great teams have actually fallen and even have to fight hard enough to be able to find their best performance again, the club you mentioned has experienced the worst phase of their journey but over time they can actually rise and return to the right track at this time,  Currently, Sevilla is certainly in their worst phase after previously successfully continuing to be a team that has qualified for the Europa League so far, financial problems seem to be the main problem of their current slump, so Sevilla management should be able to immediately find a solution to be able to make Sevilla finances improve again and be able to compete again as the favorite team in the Europa League so far.

What Sevilla faced this season is still better than by  happen teams such as Leicester City in the previous English League which also experienced a slump and  relegation, staying in La Liga is a blessing for Sevilla this season so that they don't need much time to get back on their feet next season, but if Sevilla this season is relegated, of course it will be very difficult for them to be promoted to La Liga again later, because So far, the competition in La Liga 2 is also very tight because it contains many teams that have played in La Liga before.
