Roma played a magnificent game by beating the Eintracht 2-0, it was a beautiful game, I went to see it at the stadium and I must say that it was a game without exclusion of shots, a fantastic match, so they qualified for Painoffs which is excellent for a team that is not doing very well in the championship, obviously I had bet on the victory, force always Rome
Ranieri seems to have succeeded in continuing to slowly improve the quality of the AS Roma squad. AS Roma always shows improvement every week. So it's not surprising that from match to match I also started to like AS Roma again. And in that match I also favored him. AS Roma's possession of the ball was also not as bad as usual. They had a pretty good pass accuracy rate in that match. And I just hope this team can maintain this and continue to improve again until the end of the season both in Serie A and in the European League. I now understand why Ranieri was once successful at Leicester City. It seems that this coach has extraordinary composure in handling complicated situations within a club and is able to rebuild a chaotic squad into something good again. I like the patience this coach has.

I already trust Claudio Ranieri to change things at Roma even as he met the team in a bad state, he had some challenging times at first but he restrategized hence the reason why the team has made improvements so far. Winning a German Bundesliga team like E. Frankfurt is not easy not to talk of a 2:0 clean sheet. Ranieri has recorded successes in his coaching career and i believe he can also make history at Roma. The team is in a better shape now, thanks to Claudio Ranieri who has devoted his time to see the team prosper. Any one who watches the team play now will know that a lot of works was done before the team was able to be in this form now. Let them keep flying and should not allow any form of distractions so that they can still continue to improve more and get a good balance in the Serie A and in the Europa League.

This will probably be the most competitive match of the day. Although Ajax's performance in the Europa League is not very strong, Ajax is definitely strong in their home match. They will try their best to win in the home match today. However, even if Ajax wins today's match, the team has no chance of coming to the top 8 of the point table.

On the other hand, since Galatasray is in ninth place in the point table, they will definitely want to earn full points in today's match and be among the top 8 of the point table. Galatasaray will definitely play with the aim of winning. And although Ajax has been playing a bit defensively since the beginning of today's match, Galatasaray is playing completely attacking. However, we have not seen any goals yet in 20 minutes.
Ajax won the game and Galatasaray couldn't get a game from this game. Ajax has been really  awesome in this game and did utilise their chances to win this game and so far they have made it to the next rounds of the game but Galatasaray will be in the play-off so as to make it further to the next stage of the game and so far with the performance of the team so far they are very likely to get apss this stage of the europa this season.

Only 3 matches caught my attention in the playoffs draw.

Ajax vs Galatasaray
Fenerbahce vs Bodo glimt
Porto vs Roma.

I hope after the playoffs, we will start getting UEL match-ups that would be worth it because half the teams in this playoffs are just mids at best.  I'll take the UEL more serious as the competition intensifies.

The Europa League encounter between Ajax and Galatasaray was indeed significant, but I think labelling it as the most competitive match of the day is a bit of an exaggeration while the game was intense I was expecting a win or draw for Galatasaray but unfortunately it didn't work out to be so. However Ajax ended up winning the match by a score line of 2-1. This victory was crucial for Ajax as they needed to qualify for the Europa League play offs. it's very good that this victory of theirs ended Galatasaray's long unbeaten streak.

Galatasaray has kind of disappointed me in the group stage of the Europa league as I thought they'll top of the table or closer to the top after they signed Victor Osimhen but they just barely qualified for the playoff. It's very disappointing but also good as it'll make the players to play better in the playoffs to try and qualify further. Galatasaray were one of my favourites to win the tournament but I'm beginning to have second thoughts after they just ended their winning streak. I think this might be the beginning of their downfall as they might continue to lose more games after this defeat. Ajax played well  and defended better which is why they won.
Galatasaray lost when it meant the most, nothing nice about it. You bring in Osimhen, a scorer who has a lot of hype, and you're still having trouble? That doesn't look like a strong team; it looks like a group that's having trouble when things get tough. With three suspensions from this one game and a shaky midfield, it looks like they didn't have a plan B once their original spark died down

There is still a chance to make the playoffs, but they'll be out before they even know it if they can't keep their cool. You can't act like you're on vacation while you're in the Europa League. They might get better after an embarrassing loss, sometimes that's just what a team needs. But losing to Ajax team that isn't exactly having a great time is a bad look. Until then, Ajax? Strong, well-behaved, and no stress. They took a chance, and boom - 2-1 win. That's how it's done

Yeah across all competitions Galatasaray has been unbeaten, yesterday became a different one they did not expect. What I observed in that game was the fact that Galatasaray was a little soft on the attack. It was surprising to see they failed to score a goal until the last minutes of the game. Their attack was slow while the Ajax defenders put all their energy into holding Victor Osimehn from scoring. Although I was expecting any player other than Victor Osimehn to score since he was not given the chance. Yet no one could, the only goal they had in the game was still scored by Osimeh.

I also want to emphasize how poor their defense was. Because the second goal scored by Ajax was a result of a defensive error. That ball crossed into the 18-yard would have been cleared properly by the Galatarsayr defender. They heard an interception on the ball but failed to clear it from the 18 yards. The defenders are to be blamed for the goal, especially the one who made the mistake on the interception.

Despite that Galatasaray added Victor Osimhen on loan to boost the team's performance but i didn't see them as one of the favorite teams to contend for the Europa League title because they lack the force required to conquer most of the stronger teams in the Europa league. Galatasaray got several chances to qualify directly for the next round but instead they endanger their opportunities by playing draws in matches they were supposed to win comfortably and the one that annoyed me most was their match against RFS when they were already winning by 2:0 only for RFS to equalize the score.
Victor Osimhen is a great player but only him cannot take the team to greater level, Galatasaray don't have a good defense that is why they concede a lot of goals so a team with that record of conceding goals in most of their games cannot be trusted because they can concede goals and lose important games. I don't know who they will be tied with in the play-offs but if they don't work hard for it, they might not qualify for the knockout stages. We should also know that Ajax made good improvements this season even though they are also in the play-offs but their win against Galatasaray cannot be questioned because they actually worked hard for it.

To be honest, this will be a difficult game for Manchester United to win tonight. FCSB, who will host Manchester United, has only lost one game since the start of the Europa League games. Though the team hosting Manchester United is from a small league, their performance in the Europa League appears to be very strong, and I am confident that Manchester United will have a difficult time winning. If you look at the odds that bookmakers provide Manchester United against FCSB, it has increased from 1.60 to 1.73, which must indicate that Manchester United will struggle in this game.

FSCB has shown strong competition in the Europa League, losing just one match out of 7 matches they have played shows that they can compete with other stronger clubs and can still be able to even win or play draw with them and as am writing now, they are already playing draw against Manchester United in the first half and from how the match is going Manchester United may not succeed in winning them because for them to hold United to a draw in the first half really implies that they are well prepared for them and if United is not even careful they might end up losing the match. The bookmakers have given the odds to favor Manchester United but as we can see that odds doesn't play the game.

I don't think FSCB can compete against top clubs in this season Europa League. Their match against Manchester United was intense as they were able to hold Manchester United in the first half of the match but Manchester United broke the deadlock in the 60th minutes, Mainoo and Dalot working together to give United the lead. It was a good performance from Amorim and his players as this win takes them to the next round of the tournament.

Let not mixed things up here about Manchester United. They were able to finished in a reasonable position in the Europa league simply because they haven't faced any strong opponent yet. Let be realistic here, can they really be proud of their performance yesterday against FCSB? Did you see how they struggle against an unknown club? The fact that they finished amongst the top and qualified doesn't mean they are really playing good games at the moment. I'm scared they might not be able to go far in this round because they will be facing more stronger team and continue with this awful performance will eventually get them eliminated. That yesterday victory was totally not convincing at all considering how incompatible they were against the team they played against.

Are you claiming that Manchester United were able to finish in a decent position just because they played against weak teams? I can't consider any team weak in this tournament because they qualified for the Europa League. Which weak team does Manchester United face during the group stage? Can you say Rangers, Porto and POAK aren't strong teams? Perhaps you mean Bodoe, Twente, and PIzen are poor teams. Did you believe that if Tottenham Spurs had played against all of the teams that Manchester United defeated in the group stage, they would have finished fourth?

However, I do not think you watched Manchester United's game against FCSB; even if you did not, I believe you should review the game numbers to determine which team dominated during the game. Manchester United controlled FCSB throughout the game, but they were not able to score a goal in the first half. Let us wait for the next round of the game to see how Manchester United plays, but at this point, I am confident that they are going to make it through the next round if they continue in this way.

I know that is what most persons will say, that Manchester united played weaker team which is not true because if we say they are weaker team or club, the question now will or should be how did those team or club manage to qualify for the Europa league? And those who are calling those team Manchester united beat weaker team, if actually they are weaker would they have qualify for Europa league off course they would not have.

Anyone who watch Manchester united against FCSB will testify that Manchester united posses them till the end of the match just that Manchester united was kind of unfortunate to score in the first half, FCSB was only playing counter game. This is the second or third time Rubin Amorim is keeping clean sheet I think that is progress, I wish he build Manchester united back again though it is going to take a season to fully achieve that.

It takes an extra experienced coach to salvage a team that seems to be in a declining state. I am also impressed at Ranieri'd ability to slowly and consistently restoring the confidence of Roma players. Their performance against Frankfurt was quite an applaudable one. It was a game that worthy of the time spent to watch.

FC Porto will be another big nut to crack but I still want to believe he will still have his way around it. FC Porto has their records in the Europa league as one of the strong opponents that are not that easy to defeat. But I will love to count on Ranieri to gather the required aggregate so they can progress to the next round.

the play-off pairings for the upcoming round of 16 in the europa league have now also been decided
in my opinion, fc porto vs. as roma is the most interesting match. the playoffs will be held on february 13 and 20

I quite agree with you on these two game fixtures, AS Roma V FC Porto are known for their strength and success when it comes to European competitions, The Champions League and the Europa League cup competitions. It will definitely be a game that lovers of the Europa League would want to know who will win, and then followed by the match between AZ Alkmaar and Galatasaray, this would be another interesting game too, which I'm expecting Galatasaray to come out victoriously.
Porto vs Roma can be considered as a big match on playoff stages this because these teams have long history in this competition and yesterday i have been watching the match between Roma vs Frankfurt which i can see the progress of Roma under Ranieri is much better so if Roma can play like they beat Frankfurt i think they have good chances to overcomes Porto besides that i have seen Porto records during group phase is not really good because they were suffering 3 loses from 8 matches and almost not qualified

While I do agree that there were better teams to face, we have to accept that any team here is a big team, ok maybe the last 6-10 range isn't that great, so if you faced any team that is at the bottom 10, then yeah they might not be good, but the rest are definitely all good teams without a doubt.

United only manage to finish at a good position, not because of where they landed, but because we are seeing them being a tournament team yet again. They did that with EFL a year ago, they did that with FA cup last year, and they are doing it with Europa this year. While they are terrible at premier league, and have been for a while, they are pretty good when it comes to tournament structure, no idea why there is a big difference, but it has been true for a while.

Manchester United's coach chose not to put: André Onana, and he also didn't put Harry Maguire, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo. I think the Manchester United coach is resting players, he comes to this game with the intention of defending and leaving the game with a draw, something that makes perfect sense when you look at Manchester United's position in the table.
The names of players I don't like except Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo.
Bayindir who was played to replace Onana as Manchester United's first goalkeeper performed quite well in this match. Mainoo was also very good. Although I read some comments that said they were not so sure about Manchester United to win, including me yesterday above saying that Manchester United only needed a draw to ensure they qualified without having to play-off, but the results obtained by Manchester United were very satisfying.

Amorim is still trying to rotate and get the right player positions according to their respective positions to become the starting eleven in his squad, maybe that's why Amorim didn't play Garnacho, Amad Diallo was included in his main starting line-up in the match against FCSB. Previously I was sure that United would be able to win this match, although Amorim is still trying to find the best lineup from his team. considering that Manchester United actually has better player depth than their opponent, plus FCSB was once defeated by Rangers with a landslide score. Overall Manchester United performed quite well, Mainoo whose position was rotated was able to play well and contribute one goal for his team. The match ended with a score of 2-0, a victory for Manchester United, at least they are safe for now and Amorim can refocus the performance of his team to perform better in the Premier League.

Fans should now understand that with the right players and improvements from the young talented lads in the team, they'll improve better and become title contenders again, i was suprised to see Eriksen starting over Amad and Garnacho on the bench as well but it paid off anyways cause he was trying to text Eriksen's capabilities upfront and saw that he's not fit to be a starter. I love that he's beginning to be confident of Toby Collyer and allowed Maino to change position as a 10 giving him chance to express himself freely. Manchester United where so impressive, composed at the back and held possession throughout the match. I think Manchester United would need to get a RWB to support Dalot and play Mazraoui more as a RCB. They should also try to sign a striker on loan before the window ends cause Hodjlund doesn't seems to understand Amorim's gameplay, he's mostly out of position and killing United's gameplay, anyways I was impressed that they created lots of opportunities and the scoreline was good.

It's surprising to see the swedish club Bodo glimt in the Europe champions, should it be their first time the players are competing with the international top sides, i mostly bet on them in their local league because they have been pretty good and play fantastic football. I don't know good they've played so far in the Europa games, I'll need to see the results of they are competent enough to withstand the pressure from bigger clubs.

If Amorin can discipline his players to play much better I think that winning the UEFA Euro League is not a difficult thing for them, seeing from the quality that Manchester United has also not bad in terms of players but their discipline is lacking in running training and also on During the matches that are performed, often what Man United players show are not disciplined either in carrying out attacks and defenses that make them defeated by their opponents even by teams whose quality under them, the trip in the league can still be tried if it is true -In truly can play much better.

It's not discipline that is the problem because I'm pretty sure that Amorim is a coach who prioritizes that and all his players will definitely obey him (Rashford has been a clear example, so it's likely that other players don't want to suffer the same fate). Man United's problem is the lack of adequate and quality, where not many players can really contribute to their new strategy.

The solution is to undertake a major overhaul, but that is obviously not possible now because they don't have much funds left, and it is not easy for Amorim to simply sell his players with the reputation that Man United has now.

After the change of manager, it would not be right to expect much from this team because the manager who took over Manchester United had a player that the manager liked but could not buy at Manchester United. Now if someone from the management presses him that you have taken charge of Manchester United but why the team is not doing well under you, he will reply that he has taken charge of a random team so he has to organize this team first. There is nothing to do but accept the kind of performances Manchester United have performed this season at least. Next season if Manchester United management gives this manager financial freedom then maybe he will release some players from the club and maybe add some new players to the club then maybe we can expect good performance from this team.

And it is very unfortunate that only a few clubs are eyeing Manchester United players. The reason is that even though Man United is filled with expensive players, currently some players have lost their best performance, which makes other clubs have to think twice when they want to bring in Man United players. There are teams like Napoli who are trying to lobby one of Man United's players, but it seems that Ruben Amorin is still reluctant to let go of the player, because the player does have a fairly important position in the team. Alejandro Garnacho is a player who is currently being targeted by Napoli to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who is now wearing a PSG uniform.

And I, as a Man United fan, think that it will be a big loss if Man United releases Garnacho to Napoli. He is one of Man United's wonderkids, his potential is very large, so Garnacho is very worthy of being maintained by Man United.
