Despite Tottenham playing with 10 men, they're still able to hold strong and made something out of nothing as Solanke has scored the second goal for Tottenham to put them back in the game. Galatasaray initially lressured Tottenham defense aftee the red card but they couldn't get any goal. It's seems somehow difficult for Galatasaray to score Tottenham unlike the first half. Sometimes playing against 10 men is difficult compared to playing with 11 men, because they will be playing more of a defensive game.
Well, Galatasaray was ahead, so they didn't really needed to attack that much, and they didn't spread to the field in a way to attack, which meant even with 10 players, Tottenham was on attack. However, we need to remember that when you are ahead, there is no reason to take risks.
I watched the game on second half, and by the end of the game Tottenham was on full attack mode, but because they were one man short and they had some mishaps, it was clear that they couldn't organize clearly. There was one clear position, where goalkeeper of galatasaray came out and headed the ball, and Tottenham player shot it terribly, if that went in then it would have been the only legit position but nothing else, they really didn't do that well.
Galatasaray realized Tottenham couldn't score, so they just parked the bus and had a very easy defensive last minutes, never even feared aside from that one position. If you can do that, then you do that, it's very obvious strategy that many managers use.
