Yet, in the Europa they got Napoli. I know too well that Napoli will not take it easy with Barcelona at all.
It is possible they'll crash out of Europa League too.

When it comes to the teams left after the group stage, the biggest candidates to win the championship seem like Barcelona, Dortmund, Napoli and Sevilla to me. It wouldn't be fair not to add Sevilla among these candidates. Because they are the most successful team in the Europa League in the last ten years. They will be a big threat again obviously.

In this season we have some good number of quality teams drops from Champions League into Europa League which makes this very interesting Barcelona, Napoli, Dortmund and Porto are big teams with few are having very good record like Sevilla is also not bad at all in current situation with good form teams like West Ham and Bayer Leverkusen all are having one motivation to win this year's title who is going to be succeeded in this process its very difficult because it's not easy for anyone to predict all can do upset on their day even few teams are badly struggling or have some difficult time for different reasons but still we will have some quality soccer after 2 months.

It is really great that we are going to be able to watch really big teams in this tournament as of last 32 stage. It is not good for them of course as they deserve to be in the Champions League normally. But their efforts were not good enough to make this happen seemingly. We see even Barcelona in the Europa League which must be devastating news for the fans of the team also. But Barcelona players should focus fully on their work and do their best to achieve the title.

Right now predicting about winning team is not easy as few teams already announced about their desire like Dortmund and Napoli, but we have Sevilla, Porto and Atalanta those can make big upset in any match with Barcelona and Real Sociedad are also good enough, but Barcelona situation is not clear as Xavi has some hard time here in Barcelona after taking charge from Koeman is worst time.

West Ham and Leverkusen are also very good clubs with some good run currently in their leagues but sadly have not enough firepower like Porto Dortmund and Sevilla which is very important for win here in this cup.

Dortmund - Rangers draw can also be an enjoyable one for us. Because these teams both are productive teams especially in their domestic leagues. And I expect the game in Signal Iduna Park especially to be superb. Dortmund are going to be the highly favourite club here in both games but surprising things can happen any time. For example, Dortmund's being eliminated from the Champions League was a big surprise.

This is fair, but it devalues the meaning of the Europa League. Essentially, the Europa League has become a sump for teams that are not good enough for the Champions League and that have "free time from the domestic league" to take part in the consolation competition. Judging by the results of the games, many clubs prioritize this tournament in second place (after the domestic championship), so the quality of the games here is not very good.

I expect excitement in the Borussia Dortmund -Rangers match. However, the Barça-Napoli matchup was like a CL match. Napoli is a strong team, they can beat Barça. I even think that the winner of this match will reach the semi-finals.

Agreed. For the Barcelona vs Napoli matchup, I suppose that Napoli can capture a big advantage if they manage to draw with Barcelona at least. In that case, Napoli would most probably move on to the next round. And for the Porto vs Lazio matchup, I suppose that the first match will end in a draw and Lazio will beat them in the other match. These are the best cases to me as I don't think any of them will have a comfortable round.

But I personally believe they still have a chance to qualify, Barcelona and Porto right now are no better than them either in my personal view. Apart from that, it's still Atalanta which I think Atalanta has a very good chance of advancing to the next round. But overall, I personally don't have a problem with a draw like that, about Napoli sometimes being able to play well and sometimes not being a problem for the team but fortunately Barcelona during this season is not very good also playing under high pressure is tough for the Barcelona squad.

I definitely agree with your first sentence. The Europa League was never at the forefront compared to the Champions League. And this was especially because of the format that causes worse teams in quality to exist in this tournament mostly. But for this season, it really seems like we are going to watch great rounds. We see even teams like Barcelona and Dortmund coming from the Champions League. This kind of powerful teams can increase the quality a lot.

You are right. The league will be more competitive as teams like Barcelona and Dortmund join the Europa League. Many more people will now enjoy the Europa League live. I'm not sure if it will grow in popularity. But I would be happy if Barcelona and Dortmund had met in the semi-finals or the final.

As it stands now,I can not vote Barcelona to be the Europa league champions because they are not doing well at the moment,and we can't just say they can beat a team like West Ham .West Ham is one of the teams I tipped for the Europa league trophy,because they are good and they also have a good team spirit,being ready to to win at big scene.
They are the favourites to me and not Barcelona.

I don’t know if Barcelona will win it, because I fear they’ll be eliminated from this competition too as Xavi has a long road ahead of him before he can rebuild Barcelona. Furthermore I agree that West Ham are very strong, but with Dortmund in suddenly I’m favouring them to win it because of Halland.

If you think right here and now, in my humble opinion, Napoli looks better and more thorough than Barcelona. Another question is that there are still two months ahead, during which Xavi and the Barcelona management will not sit idly by and try to improve the game and, most importantly, the results of the club. It all depends on how the transfer company will be conducted and what reinforcements the clubs will receive. At least Barcelona President Laporta promised to help strengthen the squad in January. Another question is how all this will be combined with the financial situation and the fact that the plans to overcome the financial crisis have already included funds from entering the 1/8 Champions League, and not getting into the 1/16 Europa League, where the financial income as you progress will be a multiple of less.
