I wonder whether Dortmund will be focusing on the Europa League to win the title. They are already getting away from their title chance in the Bundesliga now. They can still easily qualify for the Champions League though so they won't need to win the Europa League to join the Champions League. But still, they might want to win a decent title this season and this tournament is their chance.
And I think that this season, it's Barcelona that needs a good result in the Europa League, otherwise they will have one of the worst times in their history.
In Spain, they are not even in a position to allow access to European competitions. Of course that will change for sure, but things are a bit complicated.
That is for sure... Another draw against Sevilla yesterday, but the league is pretty weak so despite their bad performances they are just two points away from the champions league qualification. If they want to save the season somehow, they must win the Europa League, there is no way around that. Surprisingly, they are now going to rebuild the stadium for several billion Euros. I wonder where they do get the money from? Even the Europa League title isn't going to save them! In Spain, they are not even in a position to allow access to European competitions. But, suddenly with the worst form from Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad, Barcelona has chance for taking spot which is not easy for them because they are also facing some issues like in last match against Sevilla 23 shots on goal and have just 1 goal mean lacking of finishing. They need some quality finisher for having some better results Xavi arrival is having some good impact, but now next step is some quality players which will give them good results with this they will be good for next season even having not good result against Napoli in this knock out match.
I saw Barcelona's performance in La Liga against Sevilla today. The Barcelona guys played excellent. The finishing was disgusting. Barcelona had an easy chance to score several goals today. If the finisher was good, Barcelona could have won today's match. If Xavi doesn't get a new striker, I don't expect him to do well in the Europa League. Barcelona management may try to sign Haaland in the team.
Barcelona managed to create 23 chances and 7 shots on target in the match against sevilla, I think if barcelona still had messi at the moment of course with that many chances like that they would be able to score a lot of goals, and it's true as you say, now barcelona need a striker who indeed able to finish the job well in front of the opponent goal, especially now that they have lost Aguero and it looks like Xavi will have to work hard in the transfer market to find a good striker.
Yes Napoli has just beaten Milan in an away game so that is a real calibre Barcelona will be dealing with. Playing against Barcelona in the Europa League, you really have nothing to lose. All the pressure is on Barcelona. If they want to save the season in the slightest, the only chance they have is to win this title.

I personally don't think Barcelona need a new striker, but if Barcelona can sign a new experienced striker then that's fine too. For me, the problem is with the coach,
At first you didn't think Barcelona needed an experienced striker. Do you think Dembele, Coutinho, Fati, Braithwait and Depay are experienced players? They are irregular players and have been injured for most of the season. Attacks on such players cannot be relied upon. Secondly, you are looking for an experienced coach. Btw, it's still around 2 months to prepare for the next matches in this UEFA Europa League, and some teams may use that time to prepare it more significantly, although they are also doing some other matches in other championships or league.

These are just trap odds I am feeling Barcelona has no chance of reaching into next stage of this Europa League as Napoli can beat them, and they can advance into next round.

I hope that Napoli really came out of the crisis, but it's too early to say about it - they won only one serious match after a long unsuccessful streak. But in any case, this meeting will take place only in mid-February - by that time a lot may have changed, but I suppose that both clubs will rather be busy with business inside the home championships and will not focus on the Europa League.
In this pair I believe more in going further Barcelona provided they have a couple of good transfers. I'm going to watch both matches of the Barcelona - Napoli matchup for sure. This is a really big one among the all matchups now. It is not much different than a final match of this tournament and I'm not happy to see this so early. One of the contenders for the title is going to be eliminated. And for now, it seems like it can be Barcelona considering the recent forms. But things can change of course as there is still a lot of time. But for now, I'm favoring Napoil.

I’m not so sure about Barcelona winning it, because they’re yet adjusting to Xavi methods and unless they buy player’s in January I doubt they’ll win it. Furthermore Dortmund will win if Halland remains fit and continuously scores, hence they’re my favourites to win the Europa League.
Barcelona has had serious financial and organizational problems for several years and it is unrealistic to expect all these problems to be solved overnight, with a new coach.
I agree that Barcelona needs new players but the question is whether the club is in a position to buy or bring in new players given the very difficult financial situation.
Barcelona has already lost all chances for the title in the Spanish championship, dropped out of the Champions League and even in this competition is not the favorite for the title.
I think Barcelona fans will have to be patient and give the new coach time to rebuild the team and get it back on track.
My favorite to win this competition is not Borussia but Sevilla.

Napoli really have a bigger level of performance than Barcelona now. And it must push Barcelona to work harder to get well-prepared for the matchup in the Europa League. They have no luxury to underestimate any of their opponents now. They are already struggling and things will get worse for them if they don't do something about it immediately. They need to improve their results in their domestic league firstly.
