Well, here are my bets and predictions for the upcoming fight for UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Bueno Silva

Holly Holm VS Mayra Bueno Silva

The odds for this fight are 1.56 for Holm and 2.44 for Bueno Silva, for this fight, Mayra Bueno Silva is coming from her 3 wins and has a nasty submission for sure the only loss she got was through the decision but she is always executing great takedowns and submission that she got a huge percentage on the Submission wins, while Holly Holm got an A+ on her striking and for sure she will use that accuracy of her to knockdown Bueno Silva for sure and in her recent fight with Yana Santos she got those wrestling but is not really that perfect but she is surely learning it but for this fight, because he is surely new to that wrestling game I will surely make a risk gamble in this one and will be going with the underdog Mayra Bueno Silva,

Jack Della Maddalena VS Bassil Hafez

The odds for this fight are 1.16 for Della Maddalena and 5.40 for Hafez, well Bassil Hafez comes from short notice and Jack Della Maddalena should be fighting last week against Sean Brady but eventually canceled due to Sean Brady's infection then a short notice Josiah Harrell should fight Della Maddalena but eventually canceled again because of Harrell's medical issue, and for this fight, Bassil Hafez has great wrestling wins he got great jiu-jitsu but Jack Della Maddalena has good boxing for sure he is very technical in that department and could surely knockout Bassill Hafez with his power strikes, so for this fight I really thick Jack will be very careful with this fight he will surely use takedown defense for sure, and try to be cautious on those takedowns so for me I will go with Jack Della Maddalena,

Ngannou knows it better which is why he called his own production GIMIK Fight Promotions. It's all Gimik. Dricus and Izzy are probably preparing to be on the top of PFL Africa which was recently launched.

I've heard of this GIMIK promotion after inception somewhere in someone's vlog on Youtube or maybe Facebook. Also, it is being humiliated by that man, I forgot why but I think that's the reason behind it, it's a gimmick, or it is the bad naming of a company.  Grin Something like that.
Anyway, Ngannou was successful at getting the attention of many people thanks to that name. Kind of clever actually.

Adesanya's fight is still far so let's go to the next in line first which is Holly Holm versus Mayra Bueno Silva, and then, there is Alex Pereira versus Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291. That sounds entertaining. After I saw how good Alex is I might bet for him, I do think this is the weight class that is perfect for him with his bulky body.

So what's our pick for the next fight?
Holm or Bueno Silva?
Here are the odds for that fight.
Holm @1.56
Bueno Silva @2.44
Judging from records Bueno Silva has a good one too and she is on a good 3-win streak which is phenomenal. But if this becomes another retirement fight then we may not like it, the over-respect for the other fighter being a veteran just like what Aldana did against Nunes.

Lets be real, no one will take the shit of watch others insulting your tribe or region, Dricus was indirectly  tell Adesanya that his not an African. that hurt Adesanya, just like everyone would have reacted, seeing your brother telling the world you're not from Africa,  i don't see any childish stuff in Adesanya confronting Dricus in the ring. it happens, he is not the first  confront his next opponent in the ring. before the match, Adesanya has already had a plan to confronted him after the game.
lets just wait and watch their next match, i root for the Nigerian man Adesanya for the champion.
I think that's what I said too.
But let's also be real, what he did in the Octagon was a foolish move and that's because that's not his fight. He can talk all he wants but do it on his fight, that ain't his floor yet so a big mistake.
He may have planned it but I don't think what he said is all planned too. Emotions came out and as a sportsman, you don't let your emotion get the better of you.
I am not against you. I am an Adesanya fan. In fact, I was one of the fans that boosted him here in this thread, and the other one and my full support was on him against Pereira. But again, in my own eyes what he did was not right, he crossed the line but that doesn't mean I will not support him. I will still bet for him without any doubts because I believe he is the real champion in that weight class.
I respect your own point of view about what he did on the Octagon after the Dricus win. It's you, not me.
Adesanya in the cage after the fight is like a scene in WWE. We have seen it many times when we were kids watching Undertaker and Hulk Hogan. It's all drama for the fight promotion. We're still fooled though because it's a real fight than the ones we see on WWE.

Ngannou knows it better which is why he called his own production GIMIK Fight Promotions. It's all Gimik. Dricus and Izzy are probably preparing to be on the top of PFL Africa which was recently launched.
It has come to this point hasn't it?
Now look at what Israel had said in the past which he has apparently forgot what he had said before:

He even has held up two other different country flags so it seems that he prefers to choose which country he represents when it absolutely suits the situation. Grin

As he had said before, he doesn't give a s**t what people have to say and will let his fists do the talking.
So we will just have to wait and see I think at this point.

As your point with Ngannou, I fully agree with you there.
He preferred to keep his mouth shut about the whole thing while Usman and Adesayna were talking about what Du Plessis was saying back in March during the press conference that caused all this ruckus about who is representing what country.
To him he only cared about the money and how to make that $30million his take will be in his next bout but in the ring instead of the octagon.
It seems that he was the smartest one out of all of these guys and that is including Dana White who was trying to tie him down to a contract within his organization and on a short leash.
Kind of like what Israel was wearing on his neck at his last fight. Cheesy

Dricus Du Plessis commanded himself as more of the man then Adesanya did during this altercation in the ring.
Which of course was constructed by Dana sort of the same of what happened to Suga Sean several months ago with the 'I stole your jacket' incident. And has already been was forgotten a couple of events later.
Just pure childish acts nothing more.
This has something different involved where the CEO has outright completely denied it in the post-fight press conference.
I personally don't like where this is going and many in the UFC fan influencers circle have the very same feelings on how a dark turn this whole thing has taken.

Well, it was Merab Dvalishvili who steals Suga Sean O’Malley's Jacket and was just kind of happy in the process of doing so but surely the trash-talking of Israel Adesanya has gone too much and become more childish in the process is really out of hand right now, but surely as a Champion Adesanya might be thinking Superiority over Dricus Du Plessis, well for this he might give superiority complex vibe over Dricus Du Plessis, and yes he turn out to be the villain in this kind of situation,

Well, I haven't seen the video of Dricus Du Plessis ever saying that but maybe I will look for it then from that maybe I will also give what I think about it this could be that Israel Adesanya might just be retaliating from the harsh words Dricus Du Plessis ever say to him, and coming from a South African fighter, it must be painful to him, but still Israel Adesanya using his Superiority on the Octagon in confronting Dricus Du Plessis he may have stoop down low for that,

He did actually act like a spoiled brat there but I think there's a root over all those things that's why he acted like that. It just all piled up and so he released it in the octagon which is a big mistake. He really looked like a villain while saying all those things to Dricus Du Plessis. Some people are looking up to Israel Adesanya and think of him as their hero, this act will probably decrease the number of fans that follows him.

Now, it is a must-win fight for The Stylebender. He must prove all the words that came out of his mouth on that day. Also, because of the less damage that Drucus received during the fight against Robert Whittaker, they might schedule it as early as they can so fasten your seatbelts because we will see the champion fight again and try to defend his title.
I am excited but I am kind of in doubt with the odds that will be given by our favorite sports bookies. I wish 1.50 - 1.70 for Adesanya.

He really acted accordingly to his emotion and he is really showing his bad side well I am a fan of Israel Adesanya but what he have done in the Octagon to Dricus  Du Plessis is just not accordingly to his values for sure, that is Dricus Du Plessis time and he won over Robert Whittaker for sure, even though he is a champion you are right that many have looked upon him even the kids really know him now and idolizes him, it is surely villainous to do such thing, but we still have time this fight will be on September 09, 2023, here is the link of the rumored date of the fight at TAPOLOGY

For sure Israel Adesanya will come up as a heavy favorite again, one of the articles that I have read, predicted that Adesanya will be a heavy favorite in this fight again,

I am only excited with the Main Event for sure but will look on with the Co-Main aswell but for the Holm VS Silva fight this is going to be a banger for sure Mayra Bueno Silva is not a walk in the park for Holly Holm, due to her perfect wrestling game this is going to be a crucial fight for her, while for sure Holly Holm is readying for this fight for sure and for me as she have said in her previous fight and interview she surely likes a challenge and surely Holly Holm is an adjusting fighting on who is her opponent,

I also thought that the Opponent Holly Holm is not that easy for sure Holm would need to adjust so much for this fight because Mayra Bueno Silva is a terror in the Submission so Holly Holm should know most of the Grappling positions and how to escape those position because 1 wrong move for Holm then it is game over Mayra Bueno Silva will surely capitalize with Holms error for sure and Mayra Bueno Silva can even submits you even if she is under you,

That is true, what Adesanya did was dumb. He should've just waited for his fight against Dricus Du Plessis, win it, and then tell everything in the post-fight interview. Not in the fight of someone else, that's not his spotlight, that's Dricus's time, not his. I don't like what he did too but I do understand where he is coming from.
Dricus had been nonstop telling the media that he is real African and he will take that belt home not in New Zealand or America and that I think hurt the feelings of Adesanya. First, he doesn't look like it but Adesanya still accepted it.
But, I thought Adesanya already learned his lesson from this clip months ago.

https://youtu.be/uoxGbP2gINY
"Don't react, Respond! Respond properly!"
Again, I don't think he needs to do that in others' fights, they will meet, do that after their meeting, or use social media instead because as you said, it does look childish.
I think in this match Adesanya will be the villain. Well, it's good, a twist in the drama.

@owengtam09 Every MMA social media channel is talking about this including those current fighters in the UFC who have youtube channels non-stop with their own opinion on who is in the right here.
With it being slotted for a September fight date that is only about two months away and it can get even worse.
It is beginning to be a fight for their ethnicity but I could not careless about it because it is becoming very racial and I really hate it when topics is getting out of track when we all need to discuss here are the upcoming fights, so I am not going to give any comments about it,

Well, anyway I really like Israel Adesanya going for the win here but Dricus Du Plessis had shocked me when he defeated Robert Whittaker, but because Alexander Volkonovski is his friend and for sure he was training with him aswell with the ground game for me giving Islam Makhachev a hard time Volkanovski is sure honned Adesanya with the ground game and readying the fight with Pereira I really think that the wrestling game is part of their plan, so I think Adesanya is ready in saying those words to Du Plessis,

Well, I tend to focus on both but surely the fight is what we are after in the UFC, so yeah Mayra Bueno Silva has a wrestling game plan for sure looking at her wins there are a lot of Submissions for sure she can finish this fight with one of her takedowns and then going into submission but looking at Holly Holms recent fight for me Holly Holm is an adapting fighter and after she lost on Ketlen Vieira she returns in an amazing form and now she got wrestling aswell you can see the dedication to improve in Holm and that absence on the UFC proves that she was still increasing her craft with the wrestling game, so for me, this is going to be an interesting fight for sure.

Truth be told lets look at the next event as there will be plenty of time to discuss about a fight well over two months away.

As for this UFC Vegas 77 event coming up: The co-main event for a fighter who has had their matchup change for the third time in a row. JDM's fight was completely cancelled for the the last UFC event all together:
"The top UFC welterweight prospect will fight UFC newcomer Bassil Hafez on Saturday at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, sources told ESPN on Monday, confirming a report by MMA reporter Ariel Helwani."

Is it me or is this sport full of spoiled brats and whining losers lol. Or maybe I'm mixing up MMA with UFC but they're the same thing right??

I tried watching a few videos too and got a bit annoyed all of it is just so much trash talk that reminds me of WWE (except obviously, WWE fights are all staged).

Adesanya is a sure thing for next few more years I believe, as a guy who only watches main news Tongue

From what I have seen so far, in my opinion, Israel Adesanya is acting like a kid because he sees Dricus Du Plessis as a bigger threat, this is just what I think for me way bigger of a threat than Alex Pereira because Du Plessis has the ground game and submission for me this is an opponent to Izzy that has the ground game so solid than Robert Whittaker and Marvin Vettori, in my opinion, and Du Plessis also has the power in hanging on to Izzy so for me this is an interesting fight to see and going into that fight for sure Dricus Du Plessis will be the underdog here so for me maybe I will go with Dricus Du Plessis for this fight if you look at Du Plessis VS Till fight you can see the full wrestling capabilities of Dricus, comparing it to the recent Wrestler that Israel Adesanya fought,

This card sure is full of lovely ladies but I am not in for that and just focus more on the fights, well and I think this card I really want Holly Holm to make it big here and her Opponent has great submission knowledge so yeah the takedowns and the Submission position Holm should be mindful in that aspect, and Aside from the Main Event I haven't really seen a worthy bet to put up in here, and I am still doing my research,

Looking at this card I only see Fighting Kitties and for me, Viktoriya Dudakova is mostly hot for sure adding up Norma Dumont and Ailin Perez to the bunch of fighting kitties for this event, but getting the fighting kitties aside the fights that I may look at on this event are the Terrance McKinney VS Nazim Sadykhov, and the Tucker Lutz VS Melsik Baghdasaryan for me that will be a banger for the upcoming event for the UFC,

This kind of going inside the ring thing for me should be stopped, and I think it is getting more hate than hype, and it is ruining the moment of the winner, I surely hate it when this kind of thing happens and it needs to be stopped, I am a fan of Israel Adesanya but what he has displayed inside the octagon is not really that great actually, but surely the African guy just wants to fight, well and many people doesn't believe him that he's African because of the color of his skin, well Ariel Helwani Was Baiting Du Plessis and being something he shouldn't have and exposing himself,

"Don't react, Respond! Respond properly!"
Again, I don't think he needs to do that in others' fights, they will meet, do that after their meeting, or use social media instead because as you said, it does look childish.
I think in this match Adesanya will be the villain. Well, it's good, a twist in the drama.

I guess most of us didn't have a good betting line on that day. Well, that made me feel a little better because I am not alone.  Cheesy

Yup! It was really hard but you have gone with the underdog in the main event and the favorite in the Co-Main, which end up very differently you should have gone with a very different approach but again we can not likely see the future so better luck next time and bounce back on the next event,

Here I am not going to end up betting for the underdog but I will surely bet for the Israel Adesanya. I just wish the lines will be pretty enough for a profit.
Dricus Du Plessis already had something to say against the champion Adesanya.
Quote
“He’s behaving like a clown in there. That’s not how a champion behaves. That’s not at all how a man behaves. He’s behaving like a child. Conduct yourself like a champion. There’s people looking up to you, and you’re behaving like that. If that sells tickets, good for him. I’ll sell tickets in my way. I’m a gentleman, I’m a man, and I’ll behave like a man.”

Early marketing, I like it. This way they can boost the number of pay-per-view sales. Considering it's Adesanya, there's no doubt he can pull a lot of customers but Du Plessis might need to do some things to put it in the number 1 trend.

For sure I am also going with Israel Adesanya because he is proven the real Style-Bender within him, and likely that he will win that fight for sure and I am betting on it,

Meanwhile, Dana White would not care about what happened there especially Adesanya using the N-word in the microphone.
He said, "He is black. I don't give a sh*t."
They surely made it hot so early, I bet many UFC fans now are excited to see this happen as early as possible too but Du Plessis will need his rest first.

Dana White is savage in giving those media interviewers answers  they regret asking Dana White, for sure the interviewer will now think twice before giving those questions because Dana White will just murder-slap them,

UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Bueno Silva

DATE: 07.15.2023
TIME: 07:00 PM ET
Venue: UFC Apex
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Looking at this card I only see Fighting Kitties and for me, Viktoriya Dudakova is mostly hot for sure adding up Norma Dumont and Ailin Perez to the bunch of fighting kitties for this event, but getting the fighting kitties aside the fights that I may look at on this event are the Terrance McKinney VS Nazim Sadykhov, and the Tucker Lutz VS Melsik Baghdasaryan for me that will be a banger for the upcoming event for the UFC,

Whittaker lost his opportunity to get a 3rd fight against Izzy. Its never expected that Dricus Du Plessis would win the fight but he did and even took down and pounded Whittaker. Can't say he will not get the next big shot later. But it was said how exposed Whittaker was after Cannonier southpaw stance.

I also thought Yair could make it against Volkanovski. Volkaanovski is just too much for him, you can see how he is overpowered TD is not enough. Overall UFC 290, has lots of good fights with great ends. Congrats to Lawler!

In the case of Robert Whittaker's loss to Dricus Du Plessis, it was really unexpected but Dricus has shown a great performance against Whittaker so he got my support in his winning even though I lost that bet seeing the fight again Du Plessis has something to become champion, but for me, against Israel Adesanya, he will likely have a hardtime against Izzy for sure because Israel Adesanya is a growing fighter he will adjust to the fighters he will likely fighting well Du Plessis is the same but he kind of needs to memories that movement with sequence while with the Syle-Bender persona, Izzy will adjust on its own,

Well, Yair Rodriguez will have to wait for his turn to fight the Champion again, he could likely try it again with Volkanovski or wait for Alexander Volkanovski to retire which if he would get the belt or likely fight Makhachev he is nearing the zone of father time will likely get on to him he is nearing that decision of when to stop,

Preliminary bouts results and they were all good and some have said the greatest UFC event of the year:

It was one of the best events ever with so many upsets but it was a tough one to bet on this fight weekend.
But it was quite entertaining for any fan of the UFC and I haven't heard of any complaints of the quality of the fights.
So many first round knock outs and two performances of the night:
Denise Gomes received performance of the night with her 20 second KO of a heavy favorite which I lost the first leg of my parlay on. But it was enjoyable for me the rest of the night with the rest of the main card.
Dricus Du Plessis also received a performance of the night for beating another heavy favorite being Whittaker.
Very choice words in the post-fight interview when Adesanya made several intentions of disrespecting the winner of the match with a face-off in the middle of the octagon.

Fight of the night was certainly Alexandre Pantoja beating Brandon Moreno and it wasn't really known who had won until the judges split decision came in:

Many questioned the scorecards of course after the decision was made:

Think Dan Hooker bout was a really good fight because he had bleach blonde hair before the fight but was bloody red by the end of it so you know it was a battle.
He said his arm was broken at some point and had a photo of him in the hospital with the guy who gave it to him in a tweet showing his xray of the arm as well:
https://www.mmafighting.com/2023/7/9/23788552/dan-hooker-reports-broken-wrist-in-ufc-290-win-celebrates-in-hospital-with-jalin-turner

Volk was Volk and didn't want to bet on the main event as it was a lock for the belt to stay with the champ who is going to have shoulder surgery but the rematch with Islam Makhachev from the sounds of it does look to be still going forward as scheduled later this year:
https://www.mmafighting.com/2023/7/9/23788553/alexander-volkanovski-not-ruling-out-return-october-islam-makhachev-rematch-i-want-that-islam-fight

Preliminary Cards are just juicy and they surely add a stacked roster that can surely perform to be champion material, for me I really want UFC to have something like this again in the future, stacked juicy cards for us fans to be entertaining more, for me every fight in this event truly is remarkable and you will surely watch all of it for sure, or maybe on the UFC 291 they can do something like this again because I think it was really successful
