Spent more time on this match-up then any other fight before.
Watching footage, predictions, differences in fight style encountering past opponents.
It seems that nobody really knows what to expect in this one since Namajunas will be up in a weight-class moving from straw weight to flyweight.
So fighting with that extra 10 pounds will change her fighting style in uncertain ways.
It will definitely make her slower and getting older does do that to everyone. So I don't expect the old Rose in there against Fiorot.
Actually Manon will feel stronger since she just fought a larger opponent in her last fight so seeing Rose in there she will feel like the beast.

Many have also said if Namajunas doesn't get a knock out in the 1st round then it won't happen and she will get worn down.
Because Fiorot is not easy to take down and I believe she has only been taken to the mat once in her career in her first fight from what I heard from the reviews before the pre-press conference happening soon.
Maybe wait until the weigh-ins to see how Namajunas looks putting on that extra weight and if she looks any stronger. Which I have doubts she will.

There has been two fights on the card that have been changed. One earlier in the week and the other today:
Taylor Lapilus vs Muin Gafurov(had to withdraw due to visa issues) replaced with Caolan Loughran
Lucas Almeida vs William Gomis(withdrawn due to medical issues) replaced with Yanis Ghemmouri

Namajunas still has it. She is still young and despite the long break, the skills won't fade that easily.
Like Zhang, Fiorot can knock her out once Fiorot can land a solid punch but as long as Namajunas has the agility she can get in and out quickly like she always does. This will be her strategy because Fiorot can strike with KO intention. Namajunas throw a combo and takedown if she has an opportunity and if she sees Fiorot is not back away, she'll get out quickly.

I think the fight will last til the 5th round because of this

Namajunas is known as a thug for a reason so you just can't fade her being away for an extended length of time. Her form is timeless and the training she has done makes diamonds from glass.

That could be great but for sure Conor McGregor needs to first be approved by USADA before he can fight anyone in the UFC, but likely Michael Chandler is the promised fighter he would fight 1st, but if there is a chance that McGregor could fight Sean O'Malley then for sure that will be one epic fight as both are utilized and is a pure striker,


I don't know about Manon Fiorot but if Rose Namajunas was hit by those punches then she would have gone cold for sure, because Rose Namajunas is a technical striker I doubt that Fiorot could likely win with power alone, for sure Namajunas will combo with kicks and punches for sure, but because of that long break she had I really don't know if she improves or not so this is really not a great time in getting to bet for her, for sure we might go into this event blinded,

Gane and Spivac might end up with a Submission or a Decision, it will truly depend on how well these two fighters did with their improvements, for sure Upon being defeated with wrestling and submission Ciryl Gane would likely have caution with wrestling and submission or this is just my wish,

 

Actually, Shavkat Rakhmanov already has a Scheduled fight against Kelvin Gastelum on the event of UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Shevchenko 2 but because of a facial fracture Kelvin Gastelum withdrew from the fight, and the UFC is likely finding Shavkat a fight but all have rejected to fight Shavkat Rakhmanov well for sure the fight will be scheduled in a different event or I really don't know but for me I think that Facial Fracture has an effect for Gastelum and instead of withstanding a punch or damage from his face, for sure that would likely be shattered again, or maybe the metal implant may become an additional defense for his face,


For sure this is one interesting fight to see Ciryl Gane has a weakness against wrestling so Serghei Spivac might capitalize on this and catch Gane with a takedown Ciryl Gane still has an advantage with his speed he could also capitalize on this as well and likely strengthen his takedown defense by now, and for sure Ciryl Gane can capitalize on this to have as much output on Serghei Spivac in the fight,


Nice analysis for sure I will be looking at that by watching previous fights of both fighters and their latest training indeed, it is much interesting to see the Co-Main Event because of the wrestling that Zhang Weili has shown for sure see if Zhang Weili improves on this one, so this is kind of interesting for me,

Just watched the fight between Manon Fiorot and Tabatha Ricci and she does have punching power. That was two years ago but that kind of skill just doesn't go away and she has only one loss on her record.
Was a Rose Namajunas fan for quite awhile but that was before her last fight against Carla Esparza which took the wind out of her sails.
Don't know if it was her suffering exhaustion physically but she just didn't move in that fight for what she was known for in the past.
This one I am looking forward to see if Rose can come out of these problems and return to the old Namajunas we all have witnessed in those amazing fights such as @jakelyson has mentioned against the current champion Zhang Weili.

Gane vs Spivac should be a grappling matchup and see it either ending in a submission or a decision.

Looking a lot like we’re going to see a Sean O’Malley defense on the night of Conor McGregor’s return to the octagon. How awesome of a fight night card would that be? I don’t care who they’re fighting or how bad they look, I’m taking O’Malley and McGregor together and hoping for an all time classic UFC event. Hopefully in December.

For sure the Main Event, and Co-Main Event, were a great match to behold for sure

Ciryl Gane VS Serghei Spivac - Ciryl Gane is a 33 years technical fighter with fast movement and the speed of a light-heavyweight and against Sergei Spivac who is only 28 years old who has promising submission and wrestling that we all know the weakness of a striker for sure this is going to be another hurdle for the Bon Gamin,

Manon Fiorot VS Rose Namajunas - The Return of Rose Namajunas and her Debut to the Flyweight Division against a striking class fighter Manon Fiorot this will surely see who has power and who is technical in her moves and striking this is for sure a great watch for the striking loving fans,


This is really interesting as Serghei Spivac has the wrestling and submission capabilities that are weaknesses to a striker like Ciryl Gane as we did see in his fight with Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones but as you have said Ciryl Gane has the speed capabilities and surely a technical fighter for sure his lost from Jon Jones was a shock for him so for sure he might adjust his game plan, but if his takedown defense has proven not really effective then there is no chance in winning against Spivac,

For sure as she sees Zhang Weili now there is no chance for her to repeat what she did back then as Weili is like a different fighter now, so there is no chance for her to defeat her, surely that is why she decided to go up the division, maybe she will train to improve her ground game for sure,

Same with me. Jones just embarrassed Gane and him sitting on the mat in disbelief of what happened afterwards can't leave the minds of fans no matter how long ago the fight was.
I will be going with Spivac due to the last time I saw him fight he was dominate and prepared as a fighter should be.
About Rose, I don't know if she could come back from such a bad performance in her last fight.
They basically didn't do much and if we get that same fight in the Fiorot fight, then I think she has just lost the passion to fight anymore.

Just by comparing their MMA records, it appears Spivac does have the advantage but it's not what the bookmakers are seeing. Gane is their favorite which I agree also despite how humiliating his performance with against Jones. Gane will still be using his reach advantage and he is still faster in my belief.

Fiorot has impressive KO power for a woman but I bet Namajunas will still submit her. She must have found it amusing to see Zhang whom she had beaten twice now hold the belt she won and defended many times. I think she is up to getting it from Zhang for the 3rd time.

For sure both Shavkat Rakhmanov and Rose Namajunas got a long rest but Namajunas has years of rest while Shavkat just months, and he is ready for more, for sure Shavkat Rakhmanov still hasn't had any fight yet, evading fight against Rakhmanov, because they know the dangers of getting into a brawl against the Dagestan wrestler, well Shavkat will have to wait While Rose Namajunas is having her fight this coming Saturday and debut in the UFC Fight Night Gane VS Spivac, for sure it will be a great fight but Namajunas returning and likely going up the division I really don't know why,


Well, Leon Edward has to say something about this he can likely let down the offer, and Shavkat Rakhmanov will have to wait for certain fighters that accept his challenge, for sure There are many fighters that have some issues regarding injuries but that would be needing acceptance from the champion, for sure we would love to see that but that is a leap from the top for Shavkat if that happens,


Nice! I would see Cyril Gane again That was great for sure and we all know that he comes from a loss even though his wrestling is nowhere to be found in that Jon Jones fight, he likely needed to train for the takedowns for sure because that two-loss has from a takedown for sure if Cyril Gane didn't adjust with his following opponent then he will likely lose again, for sure the heavyweight is evolving and Gane needs to adjust towards this,

Now that the Max Holloway VS Korean Zombie fight has settled I guess there are many in the UFC community who want to see the next event because it is against two Heavyweights, now Here are the event details and what awaits us,

Actually, all of us might go with a Max Holloway win for sure because The Korean Zombie is aging but surely he can tank Max Holloway for the last time I am sure that he knows that this is surely his last fight he can surely feel it that he is not advancing anymore with every fight he takes, but it was really sad to see him leave the UFC and that clip has proven that there are many fans that love the Korean Zombie chanting and singing The Cranberries Zombie music, it surely brings chills watching that video,


We can surely rely on Erin Blanchfield's Grappling and wrestling but against Alexa Grasso's Striking Me Grasso is more technical for sure, she also is an adjusting fighter so she will surely adjust against Blanchfield the last two fights of Grasso was really interesting, the Viviane Araújo and Valentina Shevchenko all of that ended with a great technical thinking of Grasso,


For me just like Khamzat Chimaev back then that was ignored and don't want to face the Dagestan Fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov in the same waters as no one wants to fight him, for sure there is no given fight for him at the moment,

While Rose Namajunas is back and facing Manon Fiorot in the Women's Flyweight Division in the UFC Fight Night: Gane vs. Spivac event,

Shavkat Rakhmonov deserves a title fight if nobody wants to fight him, for sure I like to see him fight and become a champion Well Gilbert Burns has already made a bad decision by taking 1 month's rest and fighting again, Jorge Masvidal on April 8, and Belal Muhammad in May 6, definitely he needs more rest so he will not fight Shavkat Rakhmonov for sure, so yeah Let's just wait but I want the champion to fight him now,


He fought Geoff Neal last March 4, 2023, and after that no more fight for him, he is asking for a fight and there is no one who wants to fight him, This is the problem with prominent Dagestani fighter fighters are avoiding them because of the Dagestan Wrestling, for sure Khamzat Chimaev have a similar problem like this before,

Well, I really don't know why Rose Namajunas decided to move up the division, well may because Zhange Weili wants a rematch on her, but maybe she realized that she could not beat the new and improved Zhang Weili right now so she moved up to the Women's Flyweight Division and welcoming her in the division was Manon Fiorot and they will fight on September 3, this Saturday, for sure maybe she can defeat Manon but I am doubting her to beat Alexa Grasso for sure,

Was also thinking of this fighter after watching ONE over the weekend, due to somebody in the sports chat room I was in during UFC having mentioned about this MMA championship with mostly Thai and some Russian fighters.
Shavkat hasn't fought somebody in the UFC for a very long time and there has been talk of him fighting soon.

Another name which I haven't heard of was Rose Namajunas since she fought Carla Esparza back in May 2022.
She is headlined in the UFC event for France in September which was mentioned during the promotions for this past weekend.
Now that is something for the thug Rose fans to be looking forward too coming up.

I also missed this event, actually, I thought I still had time but the event was too early and I missed it completely, it was really a great event the performance of the Korean Zombie was also got back but I think his chin isn't really there anymore, that is why his fighting option is limited but for sure he already feeling it because before the fight he has said that this might be his last fight and it really was sad to see the Korean Zombie go but he surely knows that this is really his last and Max Holloway is looking good and was really in control of the fight actually he didn't follow up when the Korean Zombie was down showing respect to him,

Erin Blanchfield VS Alexa Grasso was the fight I wanted to see but with the Striking with Taila Santos Blanchfield was hesitant because Santos striking has power that could surely knock out Erin Blanchfield for sure so against Grasso that is more technical and has the power for sure Erin Blanchfield will have a difficult time for sure,

While Sean O'Malley is the next champion let's talk about who's next for O''Malley to fight for sure O'Malley says that he wants Chito Vera, because he doesn't believe that Chito really defeated him, for I also want to see that fight but it could also against Merab Dvalishvili for me that is a fight that O'Malley can surely take whether it is against Marlon Vera or Merab Dvalishvili

Shavkat Rakhmonov has avoided this just fighting in March and I haven't seen him yet, I think that this has to happen Shavkat Rakhmanov needs to fight somebody anyone, and for me maybe Gilbert Burns because this guy is really asking for a fight or Colby Covington because Khamzat Chimaev have already goes up the division to fight Paulo Costa man no one wants to fight Shavkat Rakmanov,

For sure Volk's fight was really something for him even though it was not his 1st loss it goes to show the difference in the level they have that right now he can not attain because he is nearing his limitation and his chin is already crumbling up on him we can not blame it on time because eventually, we will all go there the Korean Zombie just didn't have much time left in the MMA and he will eventually retire and he is already feeling it in himself,

Much more he has shown a great performance against Max Holloway in that last Zombie barrage and eating the damage from Max Holloway was the old Zombie Blitzing his way in his opponent's defense and counter, eating away that damage at the same time giving damage to his opponent Holloway just surely know how to defend in this situation,


I missed the whole betting and giving my prediction on this event for the UFC because it was so early I really thought that it would surely start now but it was in Asian time so it would be pretty much early, I was shocked that the event ended so quick, but surely Chan Sung Jung has quite the performance he did eat pretty much many hit from Holloway but he still has that never say die performance in him that got Max Holloway sprung up into defense mode and counter at the same time for me it was an epic battle,

Thought it was going to go by knock out since I had it not going the distance.
I completely missed the second round and after coming back from watching F1 qualifying for abit once a red flag stopped the race returned to the TKZ fight seen the highlights. Sung Jung went down, TWICE. First knocked down then almost choked out. But somehow he survived Holloway onslaught.
That was the most exciting part of the fight for me.

I was so busy that I forgot to make my bet and prediction for the UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs. Korean Zombie but surely if I would make my bet for that fight Max Holloway all the way for sure, and just like that a round 3 KO right hook win for Holloway surely Chan Sung Jung can not withstand a blow to the face for sure he is having a hard time and need to adjust big time against Max Holloway because as we all know and surely the Korean Zombie is also aware that Max Holloway is really something,

While Erin Blanchfield vs. Taila Santos was a banger of a fight if I bet on this fight I would get Erin Blanfield for sure a better striker and has a great ground game, but Talia Santos has power in  her punches, but Surely Erin Blanchfield manages to dodge  it was a great thing for Blanchfield,


Max Holloway just showed his respect and admiration for the Korean Zombie and he showed that he is the superior fighter in this fight and a great defense for Max Holloway in this fight the Korean Zombie has gone into Zombie mode 1 last time in this fight and showed that he can do this 1 last time Max Holloway surely lets out a counter for the Korean Zombie for sure in that last round where the Zombie is throwing a Flurry, he is throwing a left while falling down, for sure Max Holloway adjusted in this fight against the Korean Zombie while the Zombie doesn't Max Holloway and now feinting and faking his punch and dodging the Zombie's punch that was the adjustment that Max Holloway has done, and when the Zombie falls down he didn't follow up with punches showing mercy to the Legendary Korean Zombie I don't really see a takedown, but for sure I have seen a great admiration of Max Holloway for the Korean Zombie,

And they thought the first loss was the one that hurt the most. But often times its craziest like the hilarious elbow of Yair was more devastating I think. It's a cracking joke still to this day much like the KO of Johny Walker against Jamal. 

The first time Max and Zombie fought it was like they agreed to fight on 2 legs, it was just that Max hit Zombie harder while they were exhausted. In this 2nd fight, Zombie might just take Max down to win. Just maybe.
