Good call guys on Dustin Jacoby all that bet on the underdog win, while Kennedy Nzechukwu lost so much surely that brawling technique of his is not a match against Dustin Jacoby's technical punches,

Now here are the result of my bet and prediction

Cory Sandhagen vs Rob Font - WIN

It was really a boring fight all the matches well Sandhagen explained that he has Torn Tricep Injury during his fight with Rob Font which is why he always goes with the takedowns and wrestling, which is a bummer to the audience, but surely Cory Sandhagen did everything to get the job done and with this, I am curious about Rob Font he seems don't have an answer to Sandhagens takedowns and just go on with it, but he is resisting with the scramble but it was on the ground, surely we can see the level of difference in wrestling with both fighters the level of wrestling offense of Sandhagen is really something while his wrestling defense is pretty much questionable,

Dustin Jacoby vs Kennedy Nzechukwu - LOST

I really thought that Kennedy Nzechukwu would win this, surely those 1-time submission wins of Kennedy Nzechukwu were just that we can not say it is a fluke but surely it was nothing if you can not make it as your own, while Dustin Jacoby has great technical striking while Kennedy Nzechukwu is just brawling and throwing random punches on Dustin Jacoby,

Gavin Tucker vs Diego Lopes - WIN

That reversed takedown from Diego Lopes was really something and it left Gavin Tucker really speechless and doesn't know what he can do with that situation it was really surprising and surely both are well-rounded but Diego Lopes wrestling is more on a higher level to reserves that takedown from Gavin Tucker and I was really surprised by this,

Great guys you have posted yours early I see and pretty much we have nearly the same picks but I really don't like Kennedy Nzechukwu so I am going with Jacoby

So here are my bets and prediction
Good call for picking the underdog as there were a few fights that got awarded to them first being the Wells fight.
Had my parlay bet done by the first fight again due to the underdog doing a comeback very late in the fight.
Was expecting a few of those but that is the sport: One punch or kick can have it done for the big comeback.

The main event bout was very boring as Font and Sandhagen were mostly on the ground and wrestling which wasn't a very impressive fight for either combatant.

Congratulations on winning all your bets especially the underdog pick!

@owengtam09 & @jakelyson Fully agree with your predictions after watching their past bouts for each fighter just for reference. Of course this doesn't mean much since some fighters have not fought in several months.
So certainly their fighting techniques have either improved or depleted with age.
You really can't go from those fights but they are entertaining to watch right before a new card happens.

I will also predict that Jessica Andrade will lose her bout against Tatiana Suarez. Even with being away from the octagon since February if she can get it down to the ground with her wrestling style she will dominate the fight and win it easily.

@YuginKadoya I like the picks you have except for the very last one being Dustin Jacoby beating Kennedy Nzechukwu.
Kennedy has strong kicks as well and really tough legs so even if Jacoby has those powerful kicks, I can't see them affecting him too much in this bout. Nzechukwu will certainly get the win there.

Here are the markets and the odds for each of these matches with the very first bout starting in about half an hour:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/mma/ufc/ufc-fight-night-sandhagen-vs-nurmagomedov/matches

Pretty much we will certainly do anything in our power to predict this correctly, well, certainly there are surely some hindrances because we can not see the fighters' whole training and how much they improve this is the certain prediction we are making if a fighter could adjust to certain situations or not, but for sure with this limited information we just got to get it done, well it was great but 1 lost 1 bet and that is the Dustin Jacoby VS Kennedy Nzechukwu fight well it is really unpredictable but surely we saw potential with Kennedy Nzechukwu but Dustin Jacoby is that good,

Now the result of my bets for the UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Font

Cory Sandhagen (1.28) vs Rob Font (3.75) - WIN

Cory Sandhagen was dominating Rob Font in this fight but it also looks very boring for the fans because while he was on top of Rob Font he didn't do much, and all the time the fight was a scramble on the ground and nothing much that is why they say it was a boring fight to watch, and at the end of the match Rob Font corner have said to Font that he was down 4 rounds and Sandhagen is winning so he needs to finish this on the 5th round by knockout but as the fight started Rob Font immediately shoots a takedown that Immediately Cory Sandhagen intercepted, I really don't know if Font still has his fight IQ intact or he was not thinking at all,

Dustin Jacoby (2.29) vs Kennedy Nzechukwu (1.63) - LOST

Dustin Jacoby still has the chin and durability to withstand Kennedy Nzechukwu's punch but surely Jacoby really is technical in this situation and his kicks were so brutal for Kennedy Nzechukwu but because Kennedy just kept on brawling with Jacoby he was shot by that surprise punch of Jacoby, it was really a close match for me but surely Kennedy Nzechukwu keeps on going with the flow of the match, that I lost this one,

Diego Lopes (2.39) vs Gavin Tucker (1.58) - WIN

That was really surprising for Diego Lopes in reversing that supposedly takedown and getting that triangle armbar surely both have their ground game but Diego Lopes has the submission knowledge in taking those submissions in a more unusual way just like what Paddy Pimblett is doing but in Diego Lopes case it was a masterclass when he done it,

Great guys you have posted yours early I see and pretty much we have nearly the same picks but I really don't like Kennedy Nzechukwu so I am going with Jacoby

So here are my bets and prediction,

Cory Sandhagen vs Rob Font

The odds for this fight are 1.28 for Sandhagen and 3.75 for Font, for this fight I guess I will compare their fight against Marlon Vera and how they do well with him so for Rob Font it ended with Rob Font losing with a unanimous decision while Sandhagen won with a split decision, and with that fight, Cory Sandhagen is pretty much new to the ground game mixing up his great striking with takedowns that Marlon Vera has a hardtime while Sandhagen was in full control, for sure on this comparing on their fights my pick is Cory Sandhagen,

Dustin Jacoby vs Kennedy Nzechukwu

The odds for this fight are 2.29 for Jacoby and 1.63 for Nzechukwu, In this fight Kennedy Nzechukwu is great with wrestling in his ground game and has great remarks about his fight against Devin Clark with a standing guillotine choke despite this being the only submission win he got but for sure Dustin Jacoby has a great takedown defense that he could likely control the match with and with that in mind Dustin Jacoby kicks are remarkable indeed so with that in mind those leg kicks will be devastating for Nzechukwu because he is not checking this one, so my pick is Dustin Jacoby,

Diego Lopes vs Gavin Tucker

The odds for this fight are 2.39 for Lopes and 1.58 for Tucker, this fight pretty much this is one close match for sure both fighters are well-rounded and could likely win in this match but because Diego Lopes has much more experience than Gavin Tucker and his standing and ground game are tremendously great than Tucker my pick is Diego Lopes well I really want to see this fight because it could be an interesting fight,

Here are my picks and prediction for UFC fight night,

Cory Sandhagen (1.28) vs Rob Font (3.75)

This is an interesting fight but although I like the Umar Nurmagomedov one, surely this Rob Font fight is OK as well, for this one pretty Rob Font isn't a pushover for sure he is a well-rounded fighter but his loss to Marlon Vera was really doubting me to go for him as a whole and because Cory Sandhagen pretty much have done a great job against Marlon Vera so for sure Cory Sandhagen has a more decent striking than Rob Font and that takedowns on Marlon Vera have change his game that mix striking and wrestling is what I like about him for sure, so my pick is Cory Sandhagen,

Dustin Jacoby (2.29) vs Kennedy Nzechukwu (1.63)

For this match, pretty much Dustin Jacoby had pretty good kicks but for sure those leg kicks were pretty much brutal Kennedy Nzechukwu  is not checking those so if this continues those will be brutal for sure but because Kennedy Nzechukwu  has good wrestling, in my opinion, he is pretty much well rounded even if Dustin Jacoby got a good takedown defense for sure but for me, this is a win for Kennedy Nzechukwu so my pick is Kennedy Nzechukwu,

Diego Lopes (2.39) vs Gavin Tucker (1.58)

This is pretty much a well-rounded fight but for me, Diego Lopes has much more he is good at standing and pretty with his wrestling but pretty much Gavin Tucker watching their preview fight Lopes has more tools when it comes to the ground game, so for me, it will likely that Diego Lopes will win this via decision for sure, so my pick is Diego Lopes,

Because the event is near here are my bet, prediction, and thoughts for this fight for sure it will be a great fun fight to watch

Cory Sandhagen vs Rob Font

So far this fight is going to be Epic for sure Rob Font is at the level even though he is an underdog and still has a decent arsenal for Sandhagen, and for Cory Sandhagen his last fight with Marlon Vera was really great even though Sandhagen doesn't have the strength to knock out the opponent he is a pretty much brilliant fighter and that last fight surely his standing has merge into now a wrestling game to his arsenal but Cory Sandhagen is a calculating dude so this could be an interesting fight for sure, by my pick is Cory Sandhagen,

Dustin Jacoby vs Kennedy Nzechukwu

For this fight, Dustin Jacoby can surely show great techniques with those kicks and surely Kennedy Nzechukwu is not checking those leg kicks Pretty those leg kicks were essential for Dustin Jacoby in this fight but Kennedy Nzechukwu has a solid takedown recently but that recent fight with Devin Clark it kind of he is learning his basics and that standing guillotine choke was brilliant indeed,

Gavin Tucker vs Diego Lopes

Both of these two guys are well-rounded and pretty much this is an exciting fight to watch for sure and for me I am surely interested in Gavin Tucker has a good scramble and surely he can go on the ground for sure but his opponent is Diego Lopes also has a great ground fights he also has good striking for sure but surely because this two can go with the ground game it is a pretty hard match to decides on who's going to win but my pick goes with Diego Lopes,

Seen Sandhagen fight Marlon Vera for his last fight around a year ago and he looked good.
He trained by running up stairs of an outdoor stadium in the desert so he gets in a good mindset before his fights.

That was good conditioning and for sure Cory Sandhagen is ready for Rob Font but I surely doubt him being ready for Umar Nurmagomedov, because for sure he is new to enhancing his wrestling even further but for sure Rob Font is not that unknowledgeable when it comes to the ground game for sure this is going to be a close fight depending of wrestling this two have reach,

^^
Derrick moving to Bellator or PFL is likely the plan already since he didn't get any offer from Danaa to renew his contract. It should have been done before his last fight. It's final already or he could go boxing against Jake Paul. Jake is fighting just about anyone from UFC and the old guys in combat sports.

Sandhagen vs Font is not gonna be a one-sided fight, there is a chance that Sand will be defeated either by KO or decision but he is the bookmaker's favorite though. It's easier to look at the other fights than Sand and Font. I would just bet higher on Suarez and Lopes.

Sad for Derrick Lewis if Dana White did not offer him a chance to be fighting again at the UFC and if that was the case there are many offers for him in a different organization just like Brendan Schaub have offer Derrick Lewis in a Bare Knuckle fight for sure this is a legitimate offer for him, and apart from this news that Marcos Rogerio De Lima has said that he had trouble eating because of the flying knee of Derrick Lewis he has suffer loose teeth that had him troubled in eating, it was really painful,

Jake Paul's weigh ins for the Nate Diaz fight were on the same time as Sandhagen vs Font fights ceremonial one.
They already trying to take a bit of their audience away, but we will see if it worked by the weekend.
I would imagine the numbers will be in favor of the Jake vs Nate fight since it is a one time event and you have a fight night's every weekend if not a main event card.
They already seeing if they can have a MMA oriented fight against each other even before this boxing match has even started.

Derrick Masvidal Lewis are what many are calling him now with that blazing fast switch flying knee a'la gamebred did.
From that unforgettable knockout he is now known for that made him a very rich man.
There are talks Derrick Lewis is off contract that he should go to the PFL and fight Francis Ngannou as this fight would make him alot more than being binded to the UFC thus having to be obligated into doing so many fights.
It should be alot more exciting than from when they first face-offed with each other back in 2018 for UFC 226:
https://www.sportskeeda.com/mma/news-how-many-times-francis-ngannou-fought-derrick-lewis
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7ig45n0W8Q

Yup! it was Derrick "Masvidal" Lewis that was his flying knee, and it was really unexpected by his opponent but that is not going to work on his every fight maybe Lewis will need to calculate if his opponent is really technical then that move will not likely going to work everytime, for me if Derrick Lewis can not become a technical fighter which is I surely doubt if he can it is just better to retire and try his luck with other organization like the PFL, or Bellator

I guess I am lucky I didn't do that because I could've added that winning funds for Dustin Poirier and that means more losses. A split is fine with me but it could've been better winning both.  Wink

Certainly, it is one of the best events in the UFC. They should do more at using that belt (BMF) to gain more audience.  Cheesy
I like it too when a KO happens or submission because whenever it ends up at the hands of the judges, something scary could always happen, or a questionable judgment. Although, the Alex Pereira versus Jan Błachowicz fight was actually judged right, thankfully. I won't give Blachowicz that last takedown as a good score because he didn't really dominate while he is above Pereira. Alex did great at keeping the fight in a standing position, his takedown defense is really amazing.

This event was really crazy, and Justin Gaethje looks very different now, in terms of a calculating fighter we can say that Gaethje is one of them a Volkanovski type of fighter, but surely Alexander Volkanovski is more technical than Gaethje, but maybe if Alexander Volkanovski could go do a fight for the Lightweight Division this two could be likely can face each other and this time for the BMF belt if Volkanovski wants a BMF belt, that would be crazy,

Great thing that we got this fight night but for me it is best for us to get the Cory Sandhagen VS Umar Nurmagomedov than with the Rob Font fight for me this is going to be a technical fight for Cory Sandhagen, right now Cory Sandhagen is extremely a different fighter now, he is more technical with his striking but in addition to this he now has Wrestling in controlling his opponent in the ground that is why this is a great fight if we can see him goes toes to toes with Umar Nurmagomedov than with Rob Font, but let's wait if what new Skill does Rob Font can show us,

Another one that I an  upset about was Said Nurmagomedov VS Kyler Phillips was cancelled I really wish we could see Said Nurmagomedov fight again but because of health issue it was cancelled so yeah it was really terrible in my opinion,

UFC on ESPN 50 has some interesting fights on the card

Dennis Buzukja has replaced Jesse Butler since he has been removed from his featherweight bout with Sean Woodson.
So this would be the second fighter to be replaced on this card since Nurmagomedov withdrew from the event in mid July because of a shoulder injury.
Thus why this main event on the card headlined as a catchweight 140lbs bout.

Here is the main event fighter Rob Font talking about this fight night weekend's matchup during the pre-fight press conference earlier today:
Rob Font: 'It is Going to Be Fight of the Night For Sure' | UFC Nashville
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFAhkIcVu9U
Damn, that's a lot of change in just one card. I don't know how they could prepare at analyzing their opponents on such short notice.
Here is the fight preview of the match.
Sandhagen vs Font - Straight To The Title Shot | UFC Nashville
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwFSfJCQ3y0

The odds are also ready and here they are.
Cory Sandhagen - Win @1.28 | by KO @2.43 | Submission @7.60 | by Decision @2.55 |
Rob Font - Win @3.55 | by KO @7.80 | Submission @23.00 | by Decision @6.20 |

Jéssica Andrade  - Win @3.80 | by KO @7.20 | Submission @13.00 | by Decision @10.00 |
Tatiana Suarez - Win @1.26 | by KO @4.60 | Submission @2.02 | by Decision @4.10 |

It looks like they are expecting Suarez to defeat Andrade by submission by just looking at the odds. Well, she is undefeated, and looking at her stats, the submission part has a higher percentage. She made 4 submission wins out of her 10 fights. It might happen.

Marcos Rogério de Lima has a great career and has a little wrestling but surely his style is like Derrick Lewis and he is not that Technical actually Derrick Lewis has a great plan to beating Marcos Rogério de Lima fast maybe Lewis is taking note of Jorge Masvidal VS Ben Askren fight but surely the fight took 33 second and a great way so Marcos Rogério de Lima can not get those wrestling of his,

Jorge Masvidal still got the fastest knockout in UFC history of 5 seconds, and that can not be beaten if there could is another he needs to beat that 5 seconds I really don't know if Jorge Masvidal is just good or Ben Askren is just wrong, for sure you can see it the way of Ben Askren's wrestling to the wrestling we have now, and that is all he has wrestling, because Askren's striking is totally bad, and his win against Robbie Lawler was not a win I really think Lawler is winning that fight and was Herb Deans fault, but surely Derrick Lewis have recreated it with his fight well maybe to suppress the wrestling of Marcos Rogério de Lima,

For sure we are not aware of what could happen in the fight I haven't made my bet because I am not so sure on what may happen with the Main Event, but Justin Gaethje did well in taking the rematch and calculate his every move and make it a technical knockout a befitting revenge for him,

Surely Justin Gaethje has done a great job in making this happen he has calculated all possible knockouts he can attain from this fight and given the position it was well pretty much that same side combo is pretty much effective on boxers because if they see a punch they will respond to this then they will not have any defense to the most damaging kick it was really proven that is was effective given the fight of Kamaru Usman VS Leon Edwards, Beniel Dariush VS Charles Oliveira and now Dustin Poirier VS Justin Gatheje,

We had the same bets. I actually took the winnings from my Pereira bet and put in another single for the Gaethje fight going over 2.5 rounds as that was the lock selection certain of it happening. Well we all know how that went.
So lost everything on the main event with Poirier losing.
But can't complain about this UFC as many after watching it says this was the best event of the year.
Having only two matches going to decision means the rest were stoppages. As we know, MMA fans love it when they get their matches end by a knockout or a submission instead of them going til the end and letting the judges decide.

Actually I am not familiar with the opponent of Derrick Lewis the Marcos guy, but if he is technical enough for Lewis then likely that Marcos guy could win this, but if he's fighting capabilities is the same as Lewis then Derrick Lewis might win this one,
Well this fight card is really stacked in my opinion, and surely it could be another hit for the UFC, but it will surely still depend on the number of viewers,

This is for sure going to be a Bad-Ass of an event for sure for me Dustin Poirier is more technical than Gaethje, and has more tool to solidify a win, and looking at the 2 fights against Conor McGregor for sure Dustin Poirier will be the favorite here,

While for me Jan Blachowicz will be punish by those fast and hard hitting punches by Alex Pereira and looking at the recent fight of Blachowicz, he doesn't have any guard at all, that is why it is a big question for mostly on how did Israel Adesanya lost to Blachowicz, which is pretty much questionable,

Poirier is such a likeable dude so im really hoping he wins!

I read on reddit people talking about 'elevation ' factor and how  it might benefit gaithje more, anyone her has more insight on it ?

I  think ill just take poirier  and over  2.5 and enjoy  Grin

It Didn't go well with Dustin Poirier, but if I can make my bet I think I might go with Poirier aswell The fight was Justin Gaethje's revenge fight and he surely deserved the BMF belt after watching their fight it was surely imminent that Justin Gaethje really deserve it most because he calculated and adjust for this fight for sure many have seen how really technical Justin Gaethje in this fight,

I also lost the Dustin Poirier fight but it was really an entertaining fight Justin Gaethje was really technical right, you can surely see the difference in their performance in their 1st fight with this fight right now Justin Gaethje was very technical right now he is calculating and learning the fight pattern of Poirier, and being a friend of Kamaru Usman that kick was really something that reminds him of that fated lost, but as a friend and maybe have bet for Justin Gaethje maybe it was mixed emotions for him for sure

well I think we all have moved from this event and on to the next and here are the next event for the UFC this fight should be Sandhagen VS Nurmagomedov but Umar Nurmagomedov withdrew,

Made my choice at the last hour before fight time.

I was sure I will bet on Alex Pereira after I saw his performance during the Pereira versus Adesanya 1.
The main event is where I was having a lot of trouble to decide.
Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje are both great fighters and so deciding who will win is unpredictable. I will just stick to the favorite today and see where it will go.
Put some good money for Alex Pereira but just a little bit for the main event. The fight is almost starting, let's enjoy the fight with some beers.
Let's go!! It's time!!!

Now in this fight, it was so intense and close that many are saying that it was a robbery, but it was a real win for Alex Pereira, he even has a good ground game right now because of Glover Teixeira for sure Teixeira was really strict in giving a lesson on Jan Blachowicz well in this fight it was a great fight for Alex Pereira in my opinion,
Jan lost in a standing fight and this I think the judges agreed upon so if it weren't for the takedowns, Jan would have completely broken his nose again.

But if they have to consider takedowns and how long Jan controlled the fight, Jan wins it. He knows he is no match standing so every chance he had is to takedown Pereira, he was successful in it and Pereira had to put his hands down most of the time due to the takedown threat.
From watching a review of the whole last round done by TheWeasle, I have to agree it was Alex's fight and the number of strikes vs the control time of Jan's takedowns was in Pereira's favor. Damage trumps all.
Blachowicz was hit by a shot that made him start breathing heavily so you knew he was running out of gas and was going to start going on the defensive.
Pereira looked better at his debut of the new weight class and was more comfortable.
We will see who wins in October for a contender that Alex will face for a championship bout.
