So let's move on from here and pray that any bets made in the future are not incorrect by one leg to make it a bad bet to make.

I surely have missed a lot of great events it was a super busy 2 weeks for me I couldn't make any posts recently I was really used to posting for MMA threads than with the other sports, anyway about the main fights Just like what my gut feeling would tell me that Jon Jones could win against Ciryl Gane even though Jon Jones doesn't have much experience with the Heavyweight he is used to Light Heavyweight that has more technical fighters than the usual brawl, so it is just easy for him to leap up a division, and Ciryl Gane's usual weakness was even exposed even further and this time Gane isn't accustomed to a guillotine choke and he hasn't noticed what Jone Jones is even doing lifting Gane's chin to set up for a choke, it was really a crazy fight

While Alexa Grasso was more technical in her fight with Valentina Shevchenko and this is just the 2nd win of Grasso with a submission, it was like she is preparing to give herself a new sub-skill and that is her ground game pretty much Alexa Grasso honed herself with the striking she has a pretty much great standing that dominates Shevchenko on the feet, and Shevchenko isn't aware that Grasso can also submit her, because in paper Grasso isn't really utilizing much with submission attempts, so there was really a surprise factor in her part,

A very eventful UFC 285 that did not disappoint. Every fight was good and it was quite predictable in making your parlays win.
If you bet on Alexa Grasso then with that one bet you were well into profit @7.60x odds when I took her a couple of days before the event started.
Didn't mind that Gane lost he just wasn't enough of a challenge for Jones even if he was coming back from a long absent from the octagon, it didn't matter to him and he continued on devastating his opponents one after the other.
He was the only match that I had wrong on my 7 selection parlay @25.54x or it would of been an even happier night for me at the UFC.

It was sad that I haven't made some bet for this event I am surely rooting for Jon Jones for this main event, but because I am busy I haven't made a quick bet for it, and with Alexa Grasso as well I was really rooting for her to win, and it feels really assuring that she will own that match for surely I have to move on forward for the next event and that was the UFC Fight Night

It was really a juicy event indeed, most of the fights ended in a submission I just got 2 wrong picks it was the Farid Basharat VS Da'Mon Blackshear fight, and sadly the Main Event the Jon Jones VS Ciryl Gane fight, and congrats if you also got the Valentina Shevchenko VS Alexa Grasso fight correctly, it was really a gambling fight for Grasso but it she win a juicy profit we would surely get, so it was really a worthy bet,

For that Gane VS Jones fight, because I was really happy about the profit over Alexa Grasso, I was not really upset when I've seen Ciryl Gane defeated, I was just frustrated about Gane not backing up what he said that he is not ready for wrestling, then where is it, it was clear that Jon Jones got into Gane's chin that led him to Guillotine him and it was really tight because Ciryl Gane have tapped immediately, that end up the fight, it was a 2 mins fight and I thought that Gane would show us a lot of things on this one all we see was utter defeat,

Both are technical strikers, usually Jon Jones would stick to the opponents fighting style but since he is moving to Heavy Weight, i doubt he will be playing games and look for a striking battle. The game plan for Jon Jones would be to take down Ciryl Gane who has zero ground game nor wrestling defense and Jon Jones will finish him on the ground and that is my expectations.

An absolute loss for Gane and in the 1st round, I really thought that Ciryl Gane have won, there are posts on social media of Ciryl Gane having the Interim Heavyweight belt on his waist it was a real fake, then seeing the result in Topology I was really confused, well that is because I haven't paid for a PPV so I haven't watched the UFC 285 yet, But seeing that Ciryl Gane lost this means that Gane is not yet ready to be champion if he doesn't enhance his wrestling yet, but despite Gane losing to Jon Jones I was still happy because of what Alexa Grasso has accomplished and a plus for me because of my bet on her,

Both are technical fighters so both will surely read their opponent's movements and if the other could make a mistake the other fighter could have his advantage, but for sure because this is the Heavyweight division many will expect a Knockout but for both these fighters that would be prone to a mistake diving in for a kill will not likely the game plan for both fighters, it will be like a game of chess a wrong move could be crucial so yes going the distance could be something that could surely happen,

I love the fight to go distance here at 1.73 odds cuz i think both fighters will play less aggressive and look to score a decision win.

Good odds on gane @2.5 worth a shot   Grin

I took Gane at 2.55x and have another on an acca for under 4.5 rounds - will post after results start coming in.
So will see how this plays in approximately 5 hours from now when the early prelims kick off UFC 285.
Did anyone else notice Conor Mcgregor at the very end of the ceremonial weigh-ins? Promotions for a new movie of his:
https://www.mmamania.com/2023/3/3/23624602/surprise-surprise-watch-conor-mcgregor-crash-ufc-285-weigh-ins-to-shoot-road-house-movie-scene

Good luck to all on their bets and lets get some solid bets in on this major MMA event!

It doesn't look like McGregor at all, but that scene was just for the Movie Road House Jake Gyllenhaal will be in there with Jay Hieron that Jake Gyllenhaal slap to the face, well it is just part of the movie scene while I really don't know the Role of Conor McGregor in that movie and I haven't seen the trailer yet, well this goes to show that the popularity of UFC is really something, and what is next  for Conor McGregor is he going to fight inside the octagon, or he's going to pursue a new career maybe an actor now, but let's just wait if what may happen,

Even though there is no beef between the two fighters and all undercards are surely cool with their opponents No commotion has happened it was really a clean Ceremonial Weigh-In in my opinion and it was really entertaining as I have seen the fighters I can see clearly what is going to transpire inside the octagon, for sure that would be a good war that we are going to see, seriously seeing Derek Brunson, and Dricus Du Plessis I am surely excited in seeing that and I think that Du Plessis could surely win this fight, while Cody Garbrandt and Trevin Jones fight will be so good to watch for me and just like Derek Brunson and Du Plessis fight it will be juicy for a Preliminary Card

But entering the Main Card we could see that Jamie Pickett VS Bo Nickal, Mateusz Gamrot VS Jalin Turner, and Geoff Neal VS Shavkat Rakhmonov will be the real main fight but what I am saying is I think that two Preliminary fight needs to be in the Main card, but surely as long as they are going to fight it is good for me, but as long as we get the fight it is OK with me surely Alexa Grasso is so much confident while interview by Joe Rogan and Ciryl Gane aswell I am seeing a two underdog that is just cool on doing a fight and they know that they are really ready, that is good enough for me in what ever happen with the fight,

Jones not fighting for the last three year and the story behind that step away from the world of the MMA was a fairly tragic one.
So if you are backing him then I would say good luck as Gane is the one who last fought Tuivasa six months ago Sept 3rd 2022 and beat him without an contest needed to decide who won that fight.

Watched this live and really enjoyed how it went and Dana back in the drivers seat putting them for a press conference is always a nice touch:

The weigh-ins are today so don't want to miss those before the main event starts!

I have watched the Press Conference thanks to your link, well, like I have said highlighted in green are my picks which means I am going for Ciryl Gane, ever since his fight with Francis Ngannou I have bet on Ciryl Gane that time, and with this Press Conference I have noticed that Ciryl Gane have learned the English language, and he is speaking it now, instead of using an Interpreter, surely he has used it 1 time when he didn't understand the question but overall he is speaking in English when answering, for me definitely the hype is on Jon Jones return, but for me, Ciryl Gane looks faster and if he didn't anticipate wrestling on Francis Ngannou he is aware of Jon Jones would go on Takedowns, and as he said people are underestimating his wrestling so much well they are all wrong about it, I think this means Ciryl Gane can pull a Israel Adesanya kind of surprise,

Think I saw a video of Logan Paul saying KSI is not longer with their collaboration any longer. But anyways, this is about Jake Paul and his fight with Tommy Paul who had was taped right before leaving heading back to the UK to celebrate his win at airport:

TOMMY FURY (AT AIRPORT) GOES IN ON DRAKE LOSING $400K BET, SLAMS JAKE PAUL EXCUSES & "AWFUL" KSI

A bunch of celebrities at this fight and you just knew somebody would catch Ronaldo at the fight and have his reaction to the very surprising split decision awarded by the judges:

CRISTIANO RONALDO REACTION FROM THE STANDS AFTER TOMMY FURY BEATS JAKE PAUL
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzN9DevbkJw

Drake did bet on Paul and lost and even contacted Jake before the bout and said he had a $400,000 bet on him so knock Fury out so he will take him to the Turks & Caicos together after the fight:

Jake Paul Reacts To Drake INSANE Bet To Beat Tommy Fury

https://nypost.com/2023/02/26/jake-paul-laughs-off-drake-curse-after-rapper-loses-400k-bet-on-him

Well, the KSI leaving Prime was just a youtube video title and if you would watch the video completely it was not really what Logan Paul would say, and you know YouTubers would surely wants to clickbait us by providing the wrong title but the content was not really about that,

But anyways Drake was at his fault for trusting Jake Paul so much I haven't bet on this fight but if I do I would surely bet on Tommy Fury that is surely an experienced boxer, and younger than the previous opponents of Jake Paul fought if Jake Paul is not fighting a retired MMA fighter then he would probably lose that fight, so trusting Jake Paul to win in a boxing match with a legitimate experience boxer then that will not go out on Jake Pauls account,

Cristiano Ronaldo is not happy at all, surely it was a big loss of money for him if he bet for Jake Paul to win over Tommy Fury,

Yeah it was strange to see a big PRIME promotional advertisement in the octagon because I thought Dana White didn't want to do any collaboration with
Jake Paul from their last meeting.
But then I found out it is his brother Logan who owns the drink company:
https://www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/health-and-wellness/logan-paul-s-energy-drink-has-more-caffeine-than-the-legal-australian-limit-20230221-p5cm52.html

But then there was this article I've read that was published days before the fight:
https://adage.com/article/marketing-news-strategy/celsius-hires-jake-paul-brother-logan-paul-who-owns-prime-energy-drink/2475621
"Celsius challenges his brother Logan Paul’s emerging energy drink, Prime"
So he is just the ambassador of this new brand and not associated with Prime.
Well, technically even though they are brothers Jake Paul is not associated with Prime drink and actually, it was really Logan Paul and KSI who were the owners but sure even though Jake Paul would be the endorser of some other energy drink it doesn't really matter because he got his own mind to think for himself, but whatever the situation they're in they will still be brothers,

And for the 1st time, Jake Paul was defeated by Tommy Fury surely Jake Paul is not really ready for the real deal as a professional boxer, but surely the referee was always involved in their fight that I was distracted by the ref, but talk about the speed of Fury but surely Jake Paul is also not a slack he can throw some vicious punches right there but Tommy Fury speed is catching up to Paul, and while he is punching it he is not looking at his target so Tommy Fury is a better boxer here,

Too bad I bet cheer for the wrong guy for I listen to many users who thinks Jake can actually beat a legitimate boxer. Truth is that I also believe Jakae can do it because his winning streak is too good to not actually get excited about it.

Also, it is indeed unusual to see main events canceled. It only looks like they are just hyping the card of this fight night to gain from tickets but they knew from the start the main event is not really happening and Dana knew it from the beginning. Just wearing my tinfoil hat.

That is why I never made a bet for Jake Paul VS Tommy Fury because I know that this is not the usual fight he ever fought mostly retired MMA fighters but this one is different Tommy Fury is a legit Boxer, but if it's a retired boxer maybe he would have a chance this goes to show that Jake Paul is not really ready for the big league, and pretty much MMA and Boxing is one big another level different and surely all that 1st fights for Jake Paul was all just to get his confident rise, well, most likely his arrogant and cockiness is the one that is rising, and I think it is false confidence, instead of building a much real scenario Jake Paul is living a dream, he must stay in fighting retired MMA fighter, but maybe there is no one that wants to fight him anymore that is why he went for a boxer, and I think that loss is likely what Jake Paul needed to wake his senses,

Well maybe there is a conspiracy about the UFC knowing ahead of time that the main event will not commence but it is surely just hearsay but there is a possibility but I don't really like to think it that way,
