to whoever sold 750k UTC, i hope you are happy now

Only two with that amount im aware of is Ultradar or Paul 'the management team' who we never hear from.
Silly move really owning 2% of a coin and selling for pennies! Will regret it in 5 years thats for sure!

Pleaase, my utc's are still trapped in ultrablockparty, is there anyone i can contact directly about the matter?

If there is anyone that can force a transfer, the wallet is correct, the only wrong thing is that the emails do not work.

Thanx

Yeah,me also, same problems...hope that somoeone can do something about

It would help if somebody knows who administer the pool, the contact form doesn't work either, obviously because of the nonfunctioning emails, so nobody can tell the administrator that something is going bad.

Kracko runs the pools and has supposedly been working on the issue for over a month, at least thats what we've been told by rapture3333. I don't know how to contact kracko via email directly, but you can try sending an email to [email protected] (rapture3333) and see if he has any new info about the issues with ultrablockparty.

In all honesty though, I'm not holding out much hope to get the problems resolved anytime soon. If you look at the OP, most of those pools no longer work or have been abandoned by users.

Is it normal to have 8/30 last blocks I've been part of as orphaned ? Can't remember that being in few other coins...

And been trying out both changing settings and underclocking. I'm now underclocked ridiculously low (been going down by 50 and 50 and 50... as long as it keeps getting sick, gone from 1500 -> 850 and still sick/dead)

Hey guys,
Another issue with mining:

I've installed Thirtybirds newest YACminer, looked for config on utc.tumblingblock.com website and installed 13.12 catalyst. Here is my .bat file and here's the problem:
After about 1h or so of mining, my hashrate on pool goes to 0, my other gpu turns "sick/dead" (rpm stays around 2000-2400RPM and heat below 65C) and other stops sending to pool. No error codes. Also I keep constantly getting those "stratum from pool 0 requested work restart"

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 95
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
yacminer --scrypt-chacha --worksize 128 -g 1 --lookup-gap 8 --buffer-size 2590 -R 1280 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.tumblingblock.com:5555 -u Sapfon.1 -p X --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600
pause

Once again, I'm open for suggestions. Shouldn't have updated my working windows 7 I suppose but since I got 8.1 at my hands :S

I use 5555 as it says that "YacMiners use port 5555 which has a static diff of 1." on utc.tumblingblock.com website.

Computer has 3xR9 280X 3GB GPUs, 8GB of RAM and windows 8.1 as os.
Try worksize 256 -lookup-gap 7 -buffer-size 2420 -R 1120 or -R 1080...somethimes i also get those sick gpu problems,but no toooo often...and dont use team viewer or similar programs ,you will get driver problems...one r9 280x gives me about 280 h/s...

Also it helps to underclock the GPU memory.  You should not get a reduction in speed but you will get moar stability.

What's causing people on cryptsy to buy Ultracoin over last few days? I know it's been really cheap months but a bit strange it's just going up this week. Although it should a top 50 coin so let's hope we still have a fair bit to go yet!

Wow, I think keeping NF16 or NF15 is a good idea.

Does anyone follow the YAC Thread?
Since NF17 they have massive problems with some Botnets (I know, UTC can have the same problems too).

Changing a coins parameters (reward, NF-Factor scheduling etc...) isn't fine, but probably necessary cause
nobody can really see all the future challenges.

I am with you, I find NF17 very challenging to mine.
Dont get me wrong I like challenges, mining chacha is fun, but enough is enough Cheesy
NF16 is the last smooth one.

Also +1 for CryptoID

That is why I am constantly asking when r we going back to NF-15Huh
