+1

These loosy works need stop immediately and peoples who have enough authority in dev team need set rules for quality and reliability of services what can hold term "official".  If this kind of kids play continue this is soon agen one "shit coin". UTC is too good to destroy with this kind of loosy crap working.
All crap works need flush out as soon as possible.

Throughout the months this coin has been out, seems like its missing a go-to irc channel. Its been bugging me that utc does not have one so that the community can culminate and share news and ideas. Even though its a chaotic mess in irc channels, I have fond memories receiving updates on the crypto I'm following. Basically its where the speculators gather to help gain traction for a cryptocurrency.

What kind of IRC do you usually use? Client based, or web based? Would the community be interested in a Teamspeak or Ventrillo server?

@Mizultra
Thank you for the kind words! Attitude is always important, and a community that is interested in transparency is completely justified as there are many coins that aren't and that poses a problem for all involved. We are all in this together.

@funsponge
Yes, the market is always going to make corrections. As long as acceptance grows, more people will have a reason to buy Ultracoin, just as they have a reason to buy Bitcoin and Litecoin, for conducting commerce, of course. That will drive up volume the most in the long run.

why is the price slowly dropping, I thought it would hold at least .00009

New miners dumping i would guess.
Have no fear. A 200% growth in 2 weeks is good. Slow rises and natural growth is better. No quick pumps and dumps - just slow growth over time. I'd like to see other exchanges trading UTC more other than Cryptsy. Hopefully this will happen over time also.

I know we are all looking forward to 'Hashers United' and its a lot of work going into it by the management team which we all appreciate, but is there any development going on at present?. Also at I am staking even though I don't have the 'stake' box ticked? Is this a fault with the wallet?

Hello Pugman,

As far as developments, here is what I can tell you:

- Recently, we have had an overhaul of the pool's to make everything much more efficient, this has lead to less orphans and faster wallet synchronization as well as network had equalization. Plus the new multi-pool multi.tumblingblock.com, as well as the addition of two new pools, and more on the way. This is greatly important for network health, security, and good care taking of Ultracoin. Kracko and Thiago have been instrumental in this role, Kracko has shown outstanding professionalism and we should all thank him for his work thus far with Ultracoin.

- We also have development planned for an Android, iOS and Windows wallet. The problem with Scrypt-ChaCha is that it hard to code into a wallet, but our developer is looking into it and more details will be released once we can get the ball rolling, so stay tuned.

- The Ultracoin business directory site is 95% complete and once it is released will be a HUGE asset for gaining acceptance. In combination with the upcoming Ultracoin wallets and coinpayments this will give huge incentive for companies to accept Ultracoin, be a large part of our acceptance campaign, and make accepting Ultracoin a breeze. Speaking of acceptance, there are a few businesses that are going to start accepting Ultracoin that you will really want to SPEND your Ultracoin on, so stay tuned.

- b3da is working on an Ultracoin paper wallet that will be used for tips, which will allow you to tip waiters/waitresses, doormen, etc with Ultracoin and includes instructions on how to load and unload the UTC. This is an easy, fun and effective way to spread awareness of Ultracoin. b3da is also developing images, graphics, wallpaper, etc for Ultracoin and will all be included in a UTC marketing pack that will able to download on the website along with acceptance images, t-shirt files and marketing material files for anyone that wants to replicate them.

- There is 100,000+ UTC in development funds available for UTC, I will be heavily advertising this to developers at Hashers United and on the web for any developments we need, especially a Java Script developer for the MInecraft plugin.

@Pugman

Send me an e-mail describing the error and I will forward it to the management team to review with the wallet developer.

Sincerely,

Steven "Rapture"
PR & Marketing Director

I really hope this new development group can change the wallet. Its all about wallets and what they can do. Think out the box and change the way the wallet looks. Why do all crypto wallets look the same? It would be great if they came up with a completely new idea like a paypal or neteller 'look' type of wallet. It would really make UTC a $1 coin.
This is very ambitious but could be approach Alibaba, escrow, Neteller, Paypal etc etc about a partnership?. We are the fastest crypto so have the best chance of mainstream adoption (in my opinion).

Sorry - more explanation - if you tried out the SIMPLICITY program I quoted a little earlier - you would see what I mean about "simple".  You enter no mining details at all - the only choice is to choose algo - with UTC you would not even need that.

@usukan, I don't really understand what you mean. Tab on wallet works (I think it is a CPU miner though). Guiminer Scrypt is a GPU miner. They both work.

Has anyone considered that the big media push that is scheduled for tomorow is going to get lost in the nubit/ppc hype?

Just a thought.

-l t25x4 setting gives me nothing but errors  Angry Can't make it to work.

Sorry it does not work, does for my rigs.  I found the info in the nvidia cuda thread.

Drop the -l bit and try -t25x4

I'm Win 7 using cudaminer 28-02-2014

@primouno, please could you tell me what hashrate I should be getting for a 7950? Ballpark, I never mined UTC before but these seem (to me) like very low numbers.
Hey, sorry for such a late response but I was out. I really don't know what hashrates exactly you could expect for HD7950 but it should be roughly the same what R9 280 do.

@Qxw
Can you share your settings for 750ti? I can reach only 2.2 khs (Win 8.1 64 bit)  Angry

My 750ti setings are

cudaminer -s 10 --algo=scrypt-jane:UTC -H 2 -i 0 -m 2 -l t25x4 -L 4 -b 16384 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.tumblingblock.com:5555

Gives me 3-3.2khs with +130/+150 overclock

Anyone got any settings for the 970 yet?
