Exodus won't support Bitcoin Gold. Instead, they will be focusing on SegWit2x fork which should come in mid November. You still have access to your private keys though and you can export them and import them in any Bitcoin Gold wallet in order to retrieve them. It's worth mentioning that BTG don't have replay protection so this can be dangerous, I suggest not doing any thing until things are clear.

thanks for reply...will wait until things clear Smiley

What do I need to do?
When you follow the first backup proccess - to restore your wallet in the future in case you lose access to it -, Exodus will ask you to create a password that will be used to protect your wallet at every startup. Have you done this? Watch this video[1] at Exodus support page if you need help.

I'll check this out and do that backup, thank you for info!

Hi, I believe I have the latest version but I can't see any QTUM wallet, I thought Exodus supported it.

Thanks.

They used to when it was an ERC20 but It's no longer the case. It may take sometime until you see it in the wallet again.

Why does exodus wallet still have the eth address (erc20) coin address for qtum, seeing the main net has been up and running over a week now, want to move coins (real ones) back to exodus

I have received an answer from them. Basically, Qtum Ignition is not as easy as adding an ERC20 asset (which make sense). It may not be a first priority either as they need to have ShapeShift supporting it first. If that doesn't happen, It will never get added.
Mmm that's a pity, I still have Qtum in Bittrex, I was thinking about moving them to Exodus and now I have to look for another wallet then  Tongue

I downloaded exodus a couple of days ago , thought I would find all the popular coins listed on it
as I can see in the OP the photo is showing DOGE available , but I don't have DOGE available in my wallet
is there anyway to add it ?? or did Exodus disable it in the past days ?
They removed Doge some time ago. The source is this Reddit thread posted by an Exodus dev 3 months ago.

TL;DR: Exodus removes Dogecoin because of missing public Insight updates and continuous developer community involvement.

Hi /r/dogecoin,

Today, Exodus is announcing the removal of Dogecoin support from Exodus. Although we love the Dogecoin community and ever have since I posted one of our first beta announcements 1-year ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/3wewdi/test_new_wallet_with_shapeshift_and_doge_support/), the development seems to have gone stale with not many updates to key components we need. The last release of Dogecoin core was in Nov of 2015.

Unfortunately Exodus is built on support from public Insight servers and Dogecoin does not have the latest updates to Insight. We have asked around and it does not seem this is going to happen anytime soon.

The good news is our friends at Jaxx (https://jaxx.io/) now support Dogecoin on all platforms that Exodus supports and much, much more. We are now recommending all users of Dogecoin to send Dogecoin out of Exodus to Jaxx. Here's how you can easily do it: http://support.exodus.io/knowledge_base/topics/how-to-leave-exodus

Dogecoin has been disabled by default with this most recent release of Exodus (1.29.0). For those who do not have Dogecoin assets in Exodus, it will not be possible to enable Dogecoin support after the release on Aug 3rd. For those who do have Dogecoin assets inside of Exodus, releases on and after Sept 14th will no longer include Dogecoin support. You can still continue to use Dogecoin inside of Exodus after Sept 14th, but you'll be stuck using an older version of Exodus.

Recap of Exodus Releases Timeline:

- July 6th: Exodus 1.29.0, Dogecoin disabled by default. Still possible to reenable.
- Aug 3rd: Exodus 1.31.0, Dogecoin removed for users without a balance.
- Sept 14th: Exodus 1.34.0, Dogecoin removed in this version and all future versions.

Note, after Sept 14th, Dogecoin will still work in older versions of Exodus!

We realize this will come off as a gut punch to many of you who revere Dogecoin so much. We're truly sorry it's came to this. We sincerely appreciate and thank you as a community for being so supportive over the months.

I installed this Exodus wallet and it looks very attractive.
The only thing that kinda bugs me is that it doesn't ask for any password or key when I turn it on.
Am I missing something?

Yes you are, I have to put password every time I open it.

What do I need to do?

I find this wallet cool but i have got a problem, I used to use Exodus for BTC, GNT , ETH , LTC.
I had exported all the private keys to a notepad but recently when i joined my first signature campaign of life in this forum and while submitting the ETH address i mistakenly submitted the ETH privatekeys.
It is a matter of shame from my side but all my eth and GNT were swept by some fucker, As a result i have stopped using Exodus for ETH, so anyways i can replace my ETH address with a new fresh one so that everything is fine as before??

You should be able to generate a new address: http://support.exodus.io/article/81-how-do-i-generate-a-new-bitcoin-address and a new private key should be generated with it but check using the export option to see If it match with the old one or not, just to confirm.

Whether both of them belong to the same company or Exodus is completely different one from Eden. Do I want to know how long it will be secured for us to store our coins in these Exodus wallets?

It's developed by the same group of people, It's the same company. It's totally safe (as long as your computer have no malware) to store your funds at Exodus as It's the stable version while Eden is for testing purposes.

I'am not sure. I forwarded your question to the developers and I will let you know If they answer me.

Is there a date when Eden will be officialy released (not just an alpha or beta)?

Eden will never get officially released because It was never meant to be for average users. It's more for testing and reporting bugs. In other words, whatever you currently see in Eden will eventually come to Exodus as well.

How is Exodus handling the fork?
They will probably do the same they did with Bitcoin Cash and implement a process to sweep your coins from the other chain - and maybe add full support if the demand is high enought. Look at this post from the previous page of this thread:

I contacted them and they literally answered me 5 minutes later, I told them their customer service is just insane, I've never seen such a good service!  Shocked

Anyway this is their answer:

In case of a potential fork, we will not support Bitcoin Gold, at least not at first. The development team behind the fork has not provided any instructions and we do not know what they are exactly trying to achieve with this fork.

Do not hesitate to look through our roadmap to see the assets we plan to add to the wallet:
http://support.exodus.io/article/96-exodus-wallet-roadmap

We will probably do the same thing we did for Bitcoin Cash and create an easy way for the users to split their assets. We will need to wait for the fork to be sure how it will work.

You don't need to do anything right now. You will always have the option of exporting your private keys after the fork to claim the forked coins through their official wallet in the case of Exodus cannot create a simple feature for you to split your assets.

Unfortunately, there's no Bitcoin Gold wallet available yet, so it's not possible for me to guide you step-by-step. All the details and tutorials will start popping up after the fork. Don't worry, your coins will be safe in your Exodus wallet before and after the fork. =)
