That's kind of funny actually. ) Don't you think that we can say that about almost everything which is used by people? Like it or not we have to deal with the reality in which those currencies are supported by many people, and that's the reality we live in, there's no other. You say "ill-market " but what is a "healthy market" in your opinion? Some people, me included, believe that Bitcoin will change the situation on the market for better, but if you think that Bitcoin is no better than USD then I don't know what you believe in.

The question is which one is more popular, and i consider it is obvious that the american dollar is more popular then the bitcoin, think only at the contracts made in USD.

Bitcoin is both of currency and an inversement. Bit in USD,no one can inverse Their money. It's just like the using FIAT.It value equivalent to other currency is raise in a bit.But the price value equal to bitcoin is keeps on increasing. The current status is, 1 BTC = 5500$.But 1$ =1$.This is the difference.

It is clearly will go for usd because usd has a lot of supporters and users from all over the world while bitcoin is one of the most hated thing of the government officials in the majority of the world so if we are going to compare them even we like bitcoin more than usd, it will not do anything because they will still use and choose usd over bitcoin.

USD and bitcoin has a big relation, because the value of bitcoin is completely upon the value of dollar. Though the direct usage of bitcoin keeps on increasing, we're valuing bitcoin in terms of USD. While USD is used worldwide a lot more than BTC, I think Bitcoin still better than all the fiat currencies including USD. With Bitcoin you pay low fee for your transactions, its also decentralized and anonymous, and having very good potential.

Unfortunately it's not. Usd is far more popular and powerful than most forms of money. Bitcoin will eventually grow over a period of of time but does not have much competition with the us dollar currently. Us $ is used by a large number of people compared to bitcoin which is is yet to grow.
