I think that if you hold the bitcoins it is better for you but i think i should still use usd to buy things because you can't buy everything with bitcoin like food. But if you turn your btc into usd you can buy whatever you want with it.
Author, what do you mean about "more popular"? I think if bitcoin costs more 10 000 it still won't be 'more popular' than dollar. A lot of people still don't know about blockchain and cryptocurrency. So we just can wait and hope for bright future.
No doubt Bitcoin is gaining popularity now days due to its boosting price but we cant say that it is more popular than USD. USD is a traditional and a trusted type of fiat currency which is being used by people as there mode of payment since years.Bitcoin can be a approach for a cashless society but it is not easy for Bitcoin to replace USD.Bitcoin is in news because of sudden tremendous growth in it but people using USD are far more than people using Bitcoin.
Yes! It seems that you are correct! The reason why the bitcoin is becoming popular is because of its price that is rapidly increasing. Many investors today are now buying bitcoins because they know that the bitcoin is full of potential. 
It seems to me that these are too multi-caliber currencies to compare them ... how long does the dollar exist and how long the bitcoin? ... Of course, bitcoin has a great future, but if the question is about repression then I doubt it, that the world will abandon the dollar

There's a dollar on the street. has spread to many countries. construction, health, food, clothing, media, advertising ... everywhere the current system is moving in dollars. this makes the wine popular. but BTC is very worthwhile. the necessary infrastructure is rapidly developing and spreading. Now many people know the name. BTC promises to come.
and it already got it's way to gain more popularity,see btc demands now but we can't really deny that dollar have it's attachment in every nation ability. It ia much preferred than any other inventions or development in currencies.

This time around things has changed. This is not the time when we can come out and be boasting about Bitcoin being the fastest method of transaction. Making use of Fiat (USD) is much faster this time around and works in a blink of an eye. An example was when I did a transaction with a friend of mine recently. I was to send him BTC while he will send me Fiat straight to my bank account. I sent him the BTC, and he sent the payment to my bank account through mobile banking. We were both there and mine arrived instantly, while his was taking time despite I used high priority fees to send it, but he later got it.
If about popularity, bitcoin not yet surpassed dollar. Therefore, its capitalization hasn't been high. However, in terms of function bitcoin is much better than dollar. Because bitcoin makes financial transaction process more concise, sure this can save time and money.

Everyone has his own opinion but I think of bitcoin as the best currency not only in the world of crypto currency but also in the world of regular currencies. The only hurdle which is stopping bitcoin from getting much popularity is none other than the legalization of bitcoin. firstly, Bitcoin is not 7 years old. Bitcoin is 8 years old ongoing to 9 years old. Bitcoin was born on 2009.
just because bitcoin 8 years old does not mean that bitcoin can not beat USD. if we see the value of those bitcoin won. but if we see on popularity view bitcoin lose.
I believe that for today, the US dollar is a much more universal currency than bitcoin.
