that's a very good idea, we set aside what little wealth we have to help those below us, and the less fortunate it's a very noble job, hopefully those of us on this forum can set aside what little we have for someone else's need, Be a true bitcoin who likes to share, don't be a selfish bitcoin lover, who only cares about himself..

This is so heartwarming, not many people want and willing to do this kind of charity especially in the world of capitalism like this. Thank you. I've found some projects that the goals are for charity and humanity, but still do scamming at the end. Those projects have to learn from you, doing something from a small thing, give proofs that they indeed have a good intention and reliable enough. This is simple, it doesn't use blockchain yet but it's real. Let's imagine if you have a more manageable project using blockchain, you can help more people

That is great and one noble task.. May God bless you!.. indeed crypto is one tool to earn a profit and to help pther people who are in need. Hope everyone has the same motivation and heart as you... We too are hoping to have the same hope to earn through crypto so that we can also be a channel of blessing to others.

This is really awesome, I must say you are generous and kind, doing this shows how good you are, well it's good to be good because nobody knows tomorrow it's a small world the person you feed today might be of help to you tomorrow that's just how it's is. Well no doubt not everyone can be kind and generous like this,  my current location people over here prefers lavishing and wasting money than giving to those who need it badly, I know everyone can't be the same but one thing is sure! It pays to be good.

This is a really good initiative and I am glad it is still going on today, several years after this thread was started.

Vehicle idea is pretty good, maybe a rental at this point would be an ok idea. The most difficult part is actually locating the homeless population consistently. Believe it or not, they are quite hard to deliver meals to while driving, especially with Philly traffic.

only issue is the region that we are serving. the people are all in the streets of philadelphia, so the meals preferably should be easily separated. (Driving by and handing them out ideally)
You might want to do a soup kitchen type of van so you can move it more efficiently and they will go to you instead of the other way, not to mention that if you get a bigger vehicle, you might be able to serve more or you can have more people giveaway meals on different places.

Cost effectiveness/time effectiveness. So far, I've been trying to stick to cheap calorie dense foods, but it would be nice to stretch the money further by maybe having something that can last longer than a single meal/day. I know in general preserved foods like this cost more, so I would have to find something that can maybe just be good for 2 days instead of just one.

Anybody have ideas/suggestions?

You could feed a village of homeless if you can cook porridge. One sack of rice can feed everyone, you just have to make it nutritious by adding some ginger and some vegetables. You will need the biggest cauldron available, probably two of them.

I have been in a feeding program in my country where this is what they did for the children who are in the public school. All they do is adding ground meat like chicken, ginger, onion leaves, and seasoning is all it takes. Organizing kids to fall in line is the hardest part which could be the case you'd encounter as well.

Greatly done! I'm pleased to see such kind of act. Not just that, but using crypto instead of fiat money. If you're doing this on purpose (in other to support bitcoin), then keep it up! I also pray that you may be blessed too.
