The "crash" sooner than later is a good thing.

Concerning the USD exchanges... wow.  I would have trouble fucking up this much if I went out with the intention of doing so.  You would have thought "lesson learned" in April, but apparently not.

Wow.

So how big was the sell in reality? All the sites I try show it to be ~10k, with 4k of asks..

Crazy shit always happens at the end of bubbles. That is just the nature of stresstesting the shitty infrastructure we have.

What's your strategy for bubbles, typically?
There is no typically for me since it's not a common occurence. Last time I daytraded it (came out ahead in BTC even, though I don't care about that), this time I swing traded it. Learn technical analysis and disregard news/"fundamentals" and pumpers I'd say.

There is still lots left to this though, there's always at least 1 major bull trap.

Who would have thought that the first, second, and THIRD great Bitcoin crash would all be caused by Gox?  Grin

Hilarious history repeating itself. I think the last time this happened was at like 5-7$ range in February 2012. Such bullshit this can still happen. Pure incompetence.

"roll back"? is this guy for real?

Yeah he is. You see in 2011 Gox was hacked and the hacker execute all the orders in the book down to under $1!

I guess Mark think hes smart by fcking put a trigger to roll back if there are so many orders executed! Genius!
