Altcoins are pointless unless they have something new to offer for the end user.
i just realized that they do have something to offer
a new beginning!
anyone can come into feathercoin and write some fun apps for FTC and right away be a key part of the community

i lost 10-15% ( or maybe more like 5-8% not sure. )

fuck that i'm out, but i'm not far from bottom i know it, altcoins have value, and FTC is definitely undervalued right now, but will go lower still , because bitcoin

I had to sell my FTC
altcoins are crazy, and right now there's just too much pressure for them to go down because bitcoin is shooting for the stars again.
but FTC is near 0! it simply cannot go to 0, its a good coin, with a growing community and a lot of potential. i'm looking to come into altcoins on the lowest of the lows

I suspect many of those 30k XBT are actually gox's coins

When everybody agrees the markets going one way, i doubt it will.
LTC took a dive, might buy some if it dives more when BTC moves higher. Midas to the rescue.

When this puppy hits $169 we'll be at $2 billion market cap.
Wouldn't $169 on Gox as 'market cap' be even less meaningful than before due to Gox's premium existing due only to choked fiat?
You can use Gox JPY price as a meaningful indicator, which is now close to $160.
