"The computer can be used as a tool to liberate and protect people, rather than to control them. Unlike the world today"

— Hal Finney, 17 years before receiving the first #bitcoin transaction

See now the world has seriously recognised it's importance and those who claims it to be bad are the one's now who are accepting it and using it for instance banks like JP Morgan who were using absurd words for it and said it's bubble and will never grow are now providing services and dealing in it.

This time the bank account of people living in Ukraine and Russia have been on hold like people of Russia have banned people accounts from sending money abroad and in Ukraine people can't take out the cash as banking services have collapsed to some extent and people are using bitcoin to buy stuff and now it's becoming legal also. The government is getting support in btc and other cryptos in donation to fund the defence and other things which clearly shows how worthless you fiat become in these times. So what is more beneficial at this time ? Bitcoin is the last learning resort at this time which can help people to survive long.It cannot stop the war but at least help you to survive the fiat heap at that time.

Michael Saylor tweet :

Quote
When a currency collapses, the stocks, bonds, & real estate linked to that currency also collapse. If your assets are not portable, your wealth may not be durable. #Bitcoin

Dan Held tweet :

Quote
Why is #Bitcoin surging right now?

It's surging because citizens across the world are waking up to the fact you can't trust your government with your money.

This is not new but the main fact is now at this time people are truly recognising it's importance and they are using more of it and exchange volumes have drastically increased once again from war affected areas and overall globe who are supporting them as well.

Plan B S2F model shows we are moving ahead and for the first time 200 WMA was above $20k which is good sign of growth but at this time observing $43k of feb closed is fantastic for holders :

The next hope is Putin understand how worsen the situation are being setup for the whole Ukrainian people and other countries as well and this will not lead to anything rather than mass destruction so withdraw his stupid decision and let the world peace prevails among nations.

Hope for btc to be soon recognised at more global level and situations easing around  Smiley

Your post has a good compiling of information that is also interweaved with your opinion... to point us in the right direction regarding the value/utility of bitcoin in these times.

I do believe that your overall post would be better to have links (rather than just attributes) for those Saylor and Held tweets and for PlanB too... just for convenience and easier to find sake.. ..

Note the unconventional cAPITALIZATION!
Attention Radio Geeks:

8131 kHz USB (Russian Air Force)
Military Transport (Aviation)
6.685 kHz USB (primary)
8.847 kHz USB (secondary)
11.360 kHz USB
18.030 kHz USB

There's several lists online, this one was sent to me a few minutes ago from a friend living in Poland.  Most here won't have radio gear, but you can probably poke around on websdr.org and find a station in Europe that could get good propagation.

I've been a ham since 1980, General class.

Seventy threes...  I wish I could give you my station ID.

grew up with MARS. gotta ton of QSL cards. played chess with peeps all over the world. was fun.

73s too

I have always wondered.. why didn't the MARS folks just use the same region numbers as the Amateur territories?

I am not a seasoned, or very knowledgeable radio user.. but I enjoy, mostly listening, actually.

I've been interested in sending BTC over radio for several years, but haven't pursued it. Different countries have different laws, sending 'encoded' info may not be legal everywhere.

This fucking memory pool holy cow...

Also, no way anyone is going to be able to intercept a highly maneuverable hypersonic missle going 9,500 km/h. So, nukes hitting their target are basically a 100% certainty.

I don't to want to wax conspiratorial or anything, but I understand the laser tracking and disabling systems for these types of missiles, is more advanced than we know / are being told about.

It takes a retarded amount of energy, but not outside the realm of what is able to be brought to bear in a full-blown war.

I was a Fucking Marine under Reagen you morons.

Respect. Ty for your service, brother.

……
Under Reagen, I was smokin’ weed, wearing silly eyeliner, and creating loud obnoxious noise in a punk rock band.
Albeit I did hold down a day job, drilling a hole in millions of little rectangular metal thingies and other mindless stuff.
(Someone had to pay the rent, doncha know)

Good times, I was doing my fair share of partying back then as well. Wink

respect to both of you. around then i was smoking weed, wrecking cars, pretending to learn at college and playing video games on 8 bit computers. ngl it was fun.

i would never of made the grade in the military.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.

First strike capability
in this context means to survive the retaliation, I forget this could be misunderstood by those not in the know.

I thought that meant the guy who can deliver a nuke before the other guy had the chance to. What a confusing term.

Ukraine regime will be demilitarized and denazified. There will be Nuremberg 2.0 in Kiev for every nazi with blood on their hands. Ukraine neutrality will be ensured and just after that Russian expeditionary corps will be withdrawn.

Dude just be a man and admit you fell for the propaganda. What you are doing now is more shameful.

Ukrainian zombies really fell for the propaganda to such an extend that they kill completely innocent people! In Bologna, Italy, Ukrainian truckers attacked Belarusian drivers in a parking lot. One Belarusian was stabbed to death, the second was beaten to death.

Instead of pointing at angry civilians who have fallen for the Putin propaganda and are now finding ways to let our their anger on innocents, you should look at what happened in the past. For example: Sergey Kusiuk , formerly part of the Ukrainian special forces who killed protestors during Maidan is wanted in Ukraine. He was last seen commanding OMON forces in Moscow in 2017. Putin needed to start a conflict and made a false excuse that Ukrainians are killing their own. This is how it all started. Based on lies.

And here is the kicker: Kusiuk ordered the destruction of documentation related to the events of his crimes. He was one of the spys sent to start all this.

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
Yeah it's all coming back. One serious component of FS was civil defense: If you could get your people into bunkers then you could lob a few nukes over and say "Well, fire away if you want, but if you do we'll launch everything and our people will rule the rubble so deal".

Lot of games like this were reviewed in the 70's and 80's. Kind of weird to see we're back.

Problem 1:
You can't know what will be the future of this conflict/war.

Problem 2:
Putin is sending many young soldiers with basic training, mostly from Russia's ethnic minority groups, apparently as meat for ukrainian projectiles.
See, this is excatly what Nazis would do. I don't see your point, please elaborate.

Imho, this is Russia's payback for 2014, but it's a very expensive one. Not quite what Russia's economy needs at the time.
Seems like pride is a big part of the issue. This is just, uhm... my opinion, man. #nooffense

First strike capability is just that...the ability to launch a preemptive attack before a conflict is initiated. Wargaming this scenario would be launching a surprise attack with the intent of reducing or eliminating your opponents ability to respond.

[...]

"In nuclear strategy, a first strike is a preemptive surprise attack employing overwhelming force. First strike capability is a country's ability to defeat another nuclear power by destroying its arsenal to the point where the attacking country can survive the weakened retaliation while the opposing side is left unable to continue war."

Source: Wikipedia — Pre-emptive nuclear strike

In other words, first strike capability is not merely to be able to strike first, but to also be able to defeat the enemy and survive the retaliation.
